You're so welcome. :)
I won't have time tomorrow, so very greatly appreciated.

You're welcome, grannyrose. But did you get the emails?
will check later, or are you referring to previous on4?
ty for g list grannyrose
Well I'm not sure which you've seen and which you haven't, grannyrose?
But I sent some today.
And the last one should make you laugh.
and thanks to Neil too
yw scouser, and neil has put the whole list in babanon
[understatement]
yw scouser.
okay, neil, do you mind if i check later?
Doesn't matter to me, Rose... we're just off to bed here now. It's nearly midnight. Need sleep!
neil, that's strange...nothing there buddy
Huh?
Has to be... spam folder maybe?
yeah....major huh.....
I sent one about my "scare".
And another is an old blog entry I wrote in 2009 and am going to be reposting soon... which I thought would give you all a laugh.
checked spam folder....still nothing....this is very weird
You're checking the account on profile?
in my profile, yes.
You said to email... and I did.
you know, neil, i haven't seen any emails from you in ag4.....and that is really weird
was following all your emails re books, too
Something's wrong then.
very wrong, dear, can't work it out. could you please send me a test email, now?
I'm just re-sending that first one.
Only this time from another account/address.
See if that works?
okay, thanx
And I saw my brother had "replied to all" and you were Cc'ed in a reply he sent me. Did you get that?
I just re-sent mine anyway... the first one.
nope....
it came through, neil, but spammed, i just don't understand it. well, it's unspammed now.
Then there is a serious problem with your email account/server, Rose.
I just re-sent the 2nd one too.
Huh? So what was "spammed"?
If you put my addresses in your white list/address book, this shouldn't happen again.
What did you find in the spam folder?
neil, will get himself to check it out, should not have happened....and you know what, i always check my spam before i delete, in case of this happening.
what came through was about your scare, and also the attachment re blog
Oh ok, good. Did you read that old blog entry?
You should... you will laugh.
But gotta get to bed here... so take care.
not yet, neil. will when i finish this grid....yes, when it comes to babble, i am OCD
night, neil. sleep well, buddy
I'm off to bed, not seeing anything, 128 to do!
well, clues should be up
thanx mrp. how are you feeling tonight?
and off she goes, huh? but I have just arrived, hello, g'rose, if you're still here. :)
hey rbud
lovely grid for a friday night
yes, not too awful so far, but then I've just started, lol.
rbud, didn't have to hit the list until 40 to go
ah! nbt, finally got one for the lower right e.
yay, rbud
okay, dinner ready, bbl.
thanks for the clues Mr P - how are things with you now - any better
good morning, Babble friends
hi, sprite, hi, Kazz
hey rbud :)
Hi Kazz & Sprite & Rosebud and anyone else I can't see
hi lyn :) xxx
How did you husband pull up this morning Sprite...no aches or pains
husbands can be such stupid people... mine was in a car accident yesterday, had his shoulder hurt... and he goes out today to do some woodworking... with big machines... and heavy wood.
ahem..we are not stupid..we are stubbon:)
overall he has been very lucky, lyn! He slept well, and his shoulder does not hurt worse than yesterday. Which means it is only muscles and skin that is hurt, not bones.
foolish boy
hiya crossy :) Well you say tomato, I call it stupid :D
did a dr look at it?
no. My love agreed to go see a doctor when the pain would become worse. Since it hasn't...
well then that IS stupid
thanks dear. That is what I think too.
i once got a blood clot in my leg from a car crash, everything just looked like cuts and scrapes and maybe a torn muscle from the outside...
exactly!Wait, I am gonna let him read this.
oh dear
blunt force trauma
always good to get an x-ray,just in case
cause ya never know..
i do not know about where you are but i can walk into a after hours clinic today and have a requisition for a x-ray in one hour and have the pic taken by tomorrow at 10 am
just made him read this whole line... and he is still going woodworking... but he also promised to make an appointment with the doctor.
when our doc thinks it has priority, she will send him for x-rays right away.
well, takes 3 weeks here for a dr appt.so when i am wanting something looked at fast i go to the clinic
let me check on my love... that he not downsizes the event...
Sprite - I know when I had my bad fall in work - I felt fine the next day but ended up with 2 weeks off work as all the pain and black eyes took a few days to develop
if you see large deep bruising or he cannot raise his arm right over his head..
i was the king of procrasination once..till i almost ignored stage 4 seminoma!(god bless the mrs for forcing me to go)
now she says she owns my sorry arse:) not that she did not before:)
but i must go and hoover stuff - this is my cleaning the house day and lovely hubby has even taken hisself off to the office so I can play with the hoover and not disturb him!!
today is my day for that also:((
pfft and so you can't ask him to move furniture!
well, he phoned the doctor and made an appointment for monday... sigh... and refused to ask if he should go do some woodworking... so now he is off to that silly job. Can I kick his arse?
bye Kazz
and praise your mrs crossy, crossy.
I asked my husband to 'hoover' the other day (with a hoover even!) - he was exhausted after moving all the furniture only to be thoroughly disgusted when I came home and found that the hose had disconnected itself and the stuff he was sucking up was coming straight back into the room!! (I didn't tell him I rarely move all the furniture)
well, his crash was yesterday? his bruises will be "set" by tomorrow and then you will know exactly how things really are
yesterday he couldn't lift his arm at all. We put on hot pads all evening and this morning he could lift his arm.
do not care for the sound of that
good job, lyn, lol
no - doesn't sound right at all
me neither. Stubbornness can be good, but this has reached new levels of stupidity.
back..and hello all who have come in since i left....8 to go here
my prediction: he will hurt like hell tonight, even worse tomorrow, and monday he will get his arse kicked by the doctor. In between by me. Big time.
well,if he gets a clot or a pinched nerve he will be begging you for a drive to the walk in chinic or emerg
hey rose :) *hugs*
bet he will be sore over the weekend after humping large lumps of wood around
spritey, just what is he thinking with????
hi Rose
hey crossy
howdy granny
usually I can answer that, rose... but the normal answer doesn't seem applicable this time.
and lyn, even. lucky me, oh, frabjous night
gm
morning kje :)
good morning again kje...are you starting work early nowadays or is it insomnia?
well 5 am here, should try for a bit more sleep tc all

gn granny
bye rose, *hugs* for you. Take care of yourself.
BBL need to make myself some dinner, nice grid - and a decent size for a Friday night for a change
bye for now, lyn, and enjoy cooking.
it may just be me and the early hour, but this grid is trickier than it appears
I think it is not you. I have the same feeling, with 100 left.
that makes me feel better... at least I am not stupid alone ; )
:D no, it is at least two of us!
but I found another herb! :)
what is this one?
c7
ty!
yvw :)
is that an herb or a spice
hmmmm I think you are right, it is a spice. It is a pepper, isn't it?
coriander, cumin, hmmm, please help a still sleepy Babbler, hi folks
cinnamon, no
morning babblers :)
yep, a hot pepper
hi JBV :) A nice-smelling italian or7, and a hot, peppery ca7.
its a pepper JBV
morning Nanette!
yep... could make a dish with that!
a hot spicey one
OMG, I should have seen the Italian one!
me too! Yummy.
thanks for both!
you know what I did yesterday by mistake? butit turned out OK?
for some reason I love it when a grid generates related words.
yvw :)
what jbv?
what did you do, JBV?
what did you do jbv
I was cooking apples for a quick applesauce, and I threw in some cinnamon, or what I thought was cinnamon, then it didn't smell right, so I looked again, and I had used cumin! (didn't have my glasses on!..)
then I added a ton of cinnamon and raisins, and ate it anyway, not bad
lol! My husband always mixes up cinnamon and nutmeg!
nice, JBV, a spicy applesauce.
hmmm you save the day LOL
cumin apples.... could be interesting
not what I had planned, but not a total loss
I like cumin. Great smell. Nice experiment, however unplanned, JBV.
look jbv.... you were following a trend and didn't know it http://www.google.com/search?client=sa fari&rls=en&q=cumin+and+apples&ie=UTF- 8&oe=UTF-8
I don't use cumin much, but it was near the front of the cabinet, since I had used it for a turkey chili recently
lol!
Wow! that's great, kje, thanks - and I love lentils, too!
cumin, ginger, garlic and... and... that other spice... always use them for curries
kje, why the Golden Gate Bridge?
hello Marc
hello sprite how are you doing?
hi Marc
JBV, hello
I remember... coriander. The dried spice.
am doing well, Marc, and you?
hi Marc
hi Nono
Have you tried cumin through the rye?
need a clue for the second en6 please?
hm no, I don't think so. Hi Kaplan, is that tasty?
moving, marc.... it will be my new home
Summer is a cumin in.
Am I not a cumin being?
etc.
Anyway, good morning. I need to go back to bed.
I'd settle for Spring... Spring has trouble cumin at all here.
I grew up in SF and have a daughter there. If you need any help let me know. Happy to help. What are you going to be doing there?
someone needs to send kaplan back to bed
morning Kap
moving to San Francisco, kje? beautiful ciy - good luck, is it a new job?
Kaplan, close the puter and go to bed. Now.
took a job with UCSF
aw Marc, that is nice :) God I love Babble community
Are you a doctor, my friends brother is the assistant administrator for the college?
yes, geriatrician, I'l be running a unit at the VA
Also my daughters best friend is a nurse there.
small world :)
what does your dtr do there?
nurse at the VA or Parnasus?
Isn't the VA different than UCSF? My daughter is a gardener. At Parnasus great person. You at Parnasus or 14th st. Is a geriatrician a MD or PHD or Masters?
MD, and the VA is one of the main teaching hospitals of UCSF, along with parnasus and SF General
So you will be at the VA. When do you get there?
will move mid july
Too bad as I am coming back from China on May 2nd and will be there for a few days. Anyway if you need new friends and would like to meet my daughter and her buddy, I would be happy to set you up. Probably around the same age as my daughter is 32.
the C7 spice makes a combo with C8, btw.
ha! I wish, I am mid 40s
thanks, sprite, didn't have that
but thanks, I may take you up on that. Does she live in the city
Well good luck
me neither, JBV :) Trust me to forget plurals, singulars and verb forms...
thanks
Could I get a clue for er8 please?
when you make love, take care of eachothers er8 zones :)
evening all :)
just go straight down the first column Marc - adjective for those zones ususally ending with -ous
Also never got a clue for the last en6, please?
Marc, I don't have it yet, sorry
hey mrp!
hi MrP!!
I have been looking for the en 6 since you asked before :)
hi mrp!
hi mrP
and it's not engine -....although I've tried it about 3 or 4 times
yeah... tried that a couple of times as well
got it - to confine an animal
thats the first one
en + ***ema (movies) and 1st vowel
but en6 the pillow in a pillowslip
oh, that one! yes, en + ca4
thanks mrP
ty mrp, that grayed that e
morning all
hi Legend :)
thanks, kje, I was trying that with - o ending - it's a tree in Spanish, maybe a female tree
morning Legend
hey I have music with that text. So el en6
hi sprite...hi nan
what text, sprite?
the last en6
with the -o ending, it's also a city in California
this is the text (don't look if you don't have the word yet, it is in the text!) http://tinyurl.com/csqclxn
Oh thanks got those, now need ig6 if possible?
that's interesting, sprite - I don't recognize the "so" - do you know what it means? "so" in Italian means "I know"
it is a tree
... I won't pay any attention to your request ...
if we don't react to your post, we ig6 it.
ig6 - not pay attention to
ty kje
Hello again
... gees
I was paying attention thanks,
... oops
hi Lyn
yw
if I remember correctly, it means Under the oak.
wb lyn. Was dinner good?
well it must be an archaic or dialectal form of Spanish - under is usually "debajo de" but in Italian it's "sotto" - so again very interesting
it was OK - tasty - the wine was VERY good. I probably won't find many more words tonite
could be archaic, it is an old folk song
or maybe the wine will inspire your monkeys, lyn :)
encina is a tree... maybe the song talks about under the oak, but pretty sure encina is an oak tree
now will have to look it up
ok kje now to the PB
that would fit with what I remember, kje.
yes, it is a noun, oak tree, or live oak
there is a town in TX called encina
they told me it was a kind of love song. About someone who wanted to go into reclusion, something religious. And therefore did not want company. But under the oak tree, dreams of the loved one come anyway.
as opposed to a dead oak? which would just be lumber
lol lyn :D :D
sprite I just found a beautiful version of it on You tube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCzaS4l Xlw8
and there's an Italian translation that gives "sotto" for "so"
thanks JBV! And wow, are we good or what... we word ge4s!
yes, it's beautiful - she's going on a pilgrimage, stops under the oak, and has wild crazy dreams (my interpretation!) of her lover
yeah, that is it! We dance to this one, in sacred dance.
thank you, sprite, this was a little treasure you gave me this morning....
I studied medieval Spanish in college, but of course in those days we did not have CDs or You Tube or anything, so I never heard it like this
:D And thank you for the link. Beautiful version.
Here's an English translation by someone who posted it under the YouTube video: Under the oak tree. Mother, I went to the shrine. To be more devout, I went alone. I left the way and took a different path. I became lost in the hills. I lay down to sleep at the foot of an oak tree. At midnight I awoke. Helpless, I found myself in the arms Of the one I loved most. How it hurt to see the sun rise As I took delight In the one I loved most. Blessed be that pilgrimage. Under the oak tree.
ok, I need a break from this monster
very pretty, jbv
see you all later
bye kje, have agrand day
bye kje
bye kje
hm nothing wrong with my memory. Someone once told me when we did the dance. Love it :D
are you a member of a dance troupe, sprite?
I am a sacred dance teacher, JBV.
oh, I didn't know that, very interesting - so what types of music -
literallly all types. From classical to folk, modern, international.
brb
pardon me for being nosy but now I have a bunch of questions? who are your students/ where do you perform? this is a new concept for me
back, it was the doorbell
I don't mind the questions at all :) Sacred dance is not performing for an audience, it is like meditation (though some dances are very fast). You do it for yourself, it is to be experienced, not watched
oh, I see , so it's about learning to move to the music
my students are people who want to experience dance as ... let's say a kind of prayer in motion
well I believe in the power of dance - of any kind
yes, I get it
me too :) dance and music, a great combination. I have just done 7 years of lessons in a roman catholic church.
I wonder if there's anything like that around here - I'd have to check.
It would have to be apretty progressive RC church - not too many of those around here
my brother lives in Santa Fe New Mexico - all sorts of new and creative opportunities for self-discovery and expression
ki6 hint?
oh yes. I think it should be everywhere. Here are some images: http://www.sacreddance-opleidi ngen.nl/mozaiek%20ovaal%2060pro%20JPG. jpg http://www.beemsterkerk.nl/actuee l/IMG_7604.JPG
... relatives ... with a chemical ending
ki6 add a vwl to your ki5.18
hi Sugr, it starts with family and ends as a chemical process that renders sugar, if I am correct.
beautiful, thanks sprite
ty sprite
gr6/27?
but as said, it isn't a dance form aimed at public, it is a dance form that makes you go deeper inside yourself.
where you get your food stuff etc, Sugr
... guy who sells you food at a local store
oops I meant gr5/14
the last one
area between the legs
... muscles between the legs ... which athletes are always pulling
time for breakfast - nice chatting with you sprite, see you later everybody, good luck with the gird

I'm an idiot

thanks hurshy for the ey - that gave me NBT
thank you hurshy! I now have nbt :-)
wtg, river and UU
Good morning everyone
er8...(clue from this morning) ends in most of frozen water. If it ended in ous, you would refer to them as "zones" (sexual conotation)
Please pass on this info: Inge is now blind from macular degeneration so cannot play Babble. But I continue to e-mail with her because her husband and daughter read her e-mail and help with replies.
top right e, if i am doing this right, clue:delete, wipeout
(((Mom))) There you are, hi :)
(((Mom)) good morning
Hi Kentucky Wildcat
oh how sad
HI scrabbs - didnt see you come in
(((MOM)))
Aw, blessings to Inge. Please tell her we miss her.
Hi River
thanks molly
((Inge)) I have thought of her often. Please say hello to her for me.
That is very sad, please send her my best, scrabbs
(((Annie))) good morning
ah, very sorry to hear about Inge - let her know I am thinking about her and miss her on Babble
Sorry to hear that about Inge
Hi Mom. I found a Honeysuckle turkey breast. I remember you recommended them, so I bought one.
(((River))) good morning
I think she is 83 or 84 now.
HI Scrabbler and Moll
Molly*
hi mom and molly!
I hope you will like it. Blue wrapper or red?
Thanks for the info on Inge, Scrabs. please let her know we miss her.
Hi uusue
Hi Molly
My Mom has that but no where near as bad as Inge
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, too.
Red
There are some really good "talking" computer programs available and easy to use.
Good, for what ever reason I think the red wrapper ones taste better
hello hokie
and welcome scrambler to your newest addiction
Inge was one of my first friends here 6 yrs ago, because we communicated in German.
Does Inge have an email address in her profile. I would like to drop her a line from time to time.
I need to go make breakfast - tummy is rumbling - have fun everyone

hey peri
igoff at wideopenwest dot com
Sleep well Andree
thanks, scrabbs, will drop her a line later
phone
Hokie, I love your rabbit icon. I am a house rabbit owner, since 1983.
thx, I just put it on before Easter and found it online, so it's not mine or anything. My brother had a bunny when we were kids. My son would love one, but my husband says no.
Are you a V-Tech Hokie?
yes
is there any other kind? ;-)
My friend's son went there and played soccer.
cool
I cannot see anything from the center E. help pls
and nothing bigger than a 6 here
I just started so am getting to know the grid
one per person, peri, is one ea4
cl 7/32 and 8/45
I've actually gotten 2 8 letters on my own today.
duh, ty hurshy
hi Hurshy
ty Mom, will look
Clues, Carla?
re 8/40 and cl 8/45
Happy Friday, fellow homo sapiens!
good morning Judi
cl 7/32 is related to the 8
cl7----add a vowel to cl6---to make sanitary
Hi Judi. Sometimes I feel more like a Homo habilis--a less developed brain.
re 7/28 is related to the re 8
go the cl8, ty
yeah i've heard that about doctors...
cl 8 add a consonant to the cl7 to make it the "person who does it"
True, Hurshy, especially some surgeons
well i was being sarcastic but... :)
I wasn't :-)
Perhaps you would feel better as a homo babblius.
clue for re 7/28 please
to let something go
Good name, Judi.
I had it all along...hmmmm
ty for re8
thanks for the re7/28 and 8/45
hello friends! I usually try to hit nbt before I chat, but too tempted today by the presence of so many friends....
good morning Trif
hi Trif :)
Hi Trif. Welcome back, Secondo.
Hi, Trif!
thanks scrabbler! the jet lag is waning, and she is doing very well.
How is Secondo doing with her transition?
How is school?
very well, on the whole. stomach has been fine, sleep is resolving, she has a lot less of that "why am I up now?" feeling. And her friends took her out for her favorite froyo in the world, so it's all good
we are on april vacation this week, scrabbler, so school does not start up again until monday. I wish I could be a fly onthe wall when she returns - there will be MUCH squeling and hugging!
What a great adventure for her. Is she a sophomore or junior?
soph. her next big adventure? driver's ed! God help us all....
May God keep her safe--the roads are full of distracted, irresponsible drivers. Emphasize defensive driving.
she did do some driving in australia, which was great, as she learned to drive a stick. With her left hand mind you, but still....
hi all
ca8 certain peppers
Hi mm
I just found that too, Hurshy. I was all proud of myself.
ooh, thanks hurshy! Great find!
hello magazinemom
thanks Hurshy
hey scrabs, trif,hursh, judi, mom
it is a nice word to have in a grid.
Hiya, magmom.
TY, H.
note to self: elizabeth, eyes is not in the puzzle today. please stop typing it. Thank you, your fingers.
ooh, just found or 7/40
has any one got the 9/10 ?
Not I. And I have three 8's
my dad, ro 5/14 is in the grid today!
and i have 5 8's!
Ro5 that.
I have 3 8's too but not the ca8 ( peppers)
usually you use this pepper in ground-up form.
my cousin gi5/18 is also in the grid.
have the re 9/72 and 10/91
the 9/10 builds on a co word
Thanks!!! hurshy, got it
ty hursh-found her!
so, reco- ?
hello gemini
re + a piece of change in your pocket + coming of *** and plural
aha so that co8 takes care of the last 8 also. thanks!
ty mom!
great clue, Mom
I am glad you all got it
TY for the 9 and 10. I need 2 more 8's
wow, got both the 9 & 10, thx!
I will have to work on this later. Time to get busy. Lunch with friends and then back to the house to work on our crafts. (((Hugs))) to all of you
I need 2 more 8's as well but my play time has expired
you're welcome Hokie
Have fun, ((Mom))!
I have ca8, cl8, co8, re8
what scrabbler said :-)
Bye Mom
there are two re8s
bye bye Scrabbler and (((Annie)))
and er8
TY, H. I will look.
yesterday i went to a deli for lunch and they had "ceasar salad" on their board. i told them it should be "caesar" and the girl was like, "really?" and i said, yep, latin, crazy language. i decided not to mention that asiago only has one s.
LOL
lol hursh
Could someone clue an I word for me?
There is a pizza place close to my parents' home and one of the signs on the building = "Taco's". But the actual name of the place is Tony's Pizzeria. I have been tempted to go in to comment but assume no one in there will get it.
is that an L or an i, sapphire?
An i, sorry.
And a place in my village has a sign: "Fish Fry's" but the restaurant is named Benstead Pizzeria.
in5---silly
in5, trivial, stupid
there was a shop near my old house that was called "hotel pizza" but they painted the zs on backwards, so it really said "hotel pissa" which amused me NO end
sounds quaint :)
in 4- 36 of them make a yard
Haha, Trif.
Also, on the subject of spelling, around here (Slovakia) Everything has 's that they don't need and it's not uncommon to seea restaurant with "potatoe" soup on their menu.
they had great pizza too - it really WAS pissa pizza
it's like how on gilmore girls luke kept the hardware store sign from when his dad owned the place, even though he turned it into a diner. of course he also added a diner sign.
Grammar and spelling errors make me crazy.
sapphire, the same is true in the US. at least in slovakia there is a good excuse for messing up english.
me, too!
hurshy, have you always been in the UK? I thought you were in the US.
i am in the US, i just am an anglophile.
this grid needs a T
Ha, I suppose. When there are so many native English speakers around, like there are here Bratislava, it still makes me crazy.
ah, I see
oh, now that takes me back! I remember when I was a kid, driving with my mom up to summer camp in Maine, we used to pass this store that had two completely unrelated sides. I remember one was Cheese, and I can't remember the other - hardware or something. We figured it was a husband and wife deal - he wanted to sell hardware, she wanted to sell cheese, and thus the hardware and cheese shop was born
we also passed a farm called "welch's wabbit wanch"
I like cheese and I like hardware,so it works for me
so here is a cute nephew conversation: my sister: "you are having trouble listening today, you are not obeying." my nephew, age 4, "but mom, it's just that my rules are so much more exciting!"
*Mom just called*
LOVE that hurshy! What a great, smart kid!
Great, Hurshy!! Four-year olds ROCK!!
I love that hursh!
:)
my mom and I would laugh, saying what if you went into the wabbit wanch, and, thinking you were being all clever, asked for a "wabbit" and they brought you this strange, odd creature....
4 and 5 year olds are my favorite to talk with.
and my mom would say "whatsa matter, don't you know what a wabbit wooks wike?"
goose alert.. hi Babblers!
Hi Aloy
awesome trif :-)
hi aloy
hey there aloy! That darn goose had me on the run for about 30 minutes! little knacker
he knows the joke, "pete and repeat were in a boat, pete fell out, who was left?" and at easter i guess he felt like telling it but not doing the repetition, cause he said, "pete and repeat were in a boat, repeat fell out, who's left?" and we said, "pete" and he said, now i don't have to say it again!
yup, it was trying to hide
I wonder if that wabbit wanch is still there - scrabbler could go on a field trip!
ke5 = ke + bad odor = ste***
ty sc
at least that damn dolphin kept it's hairy nose out of the grid today!
ty scrabs
ty, Scrabbs
My mother is trying to figure out how to sell my Dad's car.
well if she just wants to be rid of it, doesn't care about getting the highest price, easiest to just take it to a dealer.
I still have 2 e's that are blank. completely, utterly, shamingly blank.
carmax gave our son a good deal
the bottom E is the hardest, i think, i have only the ey4 from there.
She will have our auto mechanic buy it then sell it.
ha! top left! there you are!
My i on the right is blank.
crazy
i have that one scrabbler - need a nudge?
in6 - crazy
in5 is from the left i
what kind of car scrabbs
CRAZY not silly and trivial
Chrysler Town & Country van.
like schizoid
AHA, got it.
I am looking for something for my daughter but that is way too big
any clues for the ca 7 & 8? TIA
Get a used Subaru--great cars, AWD.
the yin and the ya4 are both in the grid
name that nursery rhyme word! not by the hair on my...
ca7 is a kind of pepper
ground hot pepper
Chinny chin chin
free clue there!
I have a Subaru
well, chinny ch4 ch4, but ding ding ding!
chinny ch4 ch4
little disappointed that chinny isn't a word :(

I love my Buick Enclave.
which dreaded co6 is that?
the eel?
the very one. shudders
co5 shell close by
i'm disappointed that if you're having a seance, you aren't seancing.
that would be nice, hurshy..
I was trying to work seance in there, too. Did not try seancing, though.
I just found Frasier and Niles Cr5.
and 6, thanks!
i find it interesting, if a little racist, that enable takes spanish men, but not german ones....
i think it's just how commonly used things have become in english, trif.
don't miss the co5 which is the shape of a co4
nose holes are there
hi all
hi jmc
Hi
hey jmc
nostrils ?
yes, Trif.. another word for them
na + a nap is a ***t-time
a nap is a GREAT time, but I got what you meant. thanks!

oh, hokie! Have you heard this one? out: brangelina In: PeeNiss
TY, MM
lol, no
TELL me S. Collins couldn't have foreseen that!
ooh, co 5 ocean shell
or the charming alternative: KatPee
are you a KatPee or Kale fan?
looking for that er8, don't have it either Scrabbs
Kale, all the way.
you?
don't have the er8 scrabs, :(
speaking of cats, i don't think there has ever been one as attached to a person as Marty is to me. this morning for instance he was so desperate for me not to leave, he just meowed for hugging and petting and then looked forlorn and followed me down the stairs to the garage, then went back up and stood at the window to watch me leave.
I don't know which E it is from either.
I was always leaning towards Kale, but Peeta kinda won me over, where at the end, I just couldn't decide.
Good morning all.
top left, i believe
top E - if it ended with -ous you would speak of er____ zones.
how sweet, hurshy! usually cats are so detached and "I don't care"
er8 is from the top left e
has to do with "sexual" zones
super, hurshy.. ty
marty is an abnormal cat. he loves carrots, for instance, and isn't really interested in dairy.
thx, trentsnana - got it!
sigh, i guess i should take a work break.
I read a great thing the other day about how dogs think "they feed me, pet me, house me, love me, they must be GODS" whereas cats think "they feed me, pet me, house me and love me, I MUST BE A GOD!"
SO very true~!
thanks all!
My rabbit Gulliver does not like carrots.
i had a cat that loved coconut and broccoli
Haha, Trif.
Hi jm!
all of my cats like tomato products.
I have to admit, with GREAT shame, that I still don't have the right side e - help PLEASE ?
Hi jm!
and mitten likes orange peach mango juice
my favorite is that with a dog you get a kid and with a cat you get a roommate
I had a dog that loved everything, all food, underwear, socks, hair scrunchies, grill covers.
all of mine have too, hurshy, and doritos, nacho cheese only...
trif - painting stand
.
ed to cl5 a blackboard
oh, hit me with a painted fish! thanks hushy
.
id
Ty, trent
what's your point, scrabbler ? ha ha aha ahaha
lol carla- I once had a terrier who ate my new Victoria's Secret bra
on like the daily show they did a pair of videos of pets welcoming soldiers home from the war - the dog heard, "daddy's home" and ran and greeted the guy in a frenzy of delight. the cat heard "daddy's home" and barely turned its head, just stayed sitting in the window.
I don't know why that happened.
secondos dog is a MENACE - he still chews constantly, until you want to punch him in the face
oh, no! Mine had 3 surgeries to remove stuff, but other times he was able to pass the foreign object.
110 to go and I must get ready to leave. Fridays = lunch + outdoor activity with my buddy Celeste.
roman emperor found
yep- found pieces of that bra in the yard for days
bye scrabs have fun
bye!

I keep telling myself I can always hide in bathroom like I did during Jonas Brothers concert
I'll try JMC
lol, magmom.. I remember.. I was deaf for days after taking my daughter to a concert
when secondo was in sydney, her flight was actually delayed because one direction was there too, and so many girls swarmed the place they couldn't take off
Not looking forward to the 3.5 hour drive
take a book mag . . . i have a light "page" which covers the page and lights it up to read
I'm driving. It's not that far for me

the beatles, back in the day - they whipped girls up

I myself was a tad nuts over shaun cassidy, as embarrassing as that is, now
well he was cute trif
and I would still probably swoon over david bowie, my all time great love of my life
pink floyd was my band
our tastes were quite different haha!
meeting colin firth would probably also cause stroke-like symptoms. Certainly I would forget the basics of english grammar
I should be embarrassed to say that shaun cassidy was the first concert I ever saw.I was 9
lets not be embarrassed, magmom! let's own it!
i want to meet george clooney
Yay trif!!
one of my best friends quietly and shyly asked me if I would go see a Donny Osmond concer with her - about four years ago.....
haha
ooh, good one, jmc! that george is a fine slice....
well, I am going to have to leave with 92 left. goodbye, y'all!
Let's just say that if colin firth was within spitting distance of me, I might have to be restrained
bye hokie. team gale!

legion
Good clue Peri! : )
ty Molly, was hoping no one would notice
I'm in and out. I'm trying to get some plants in the ground before the weekend rain.
would you like to come over here and plant some flowers? I love flowers but I am too lazy
I'd love to. I like to co-create with the Earth.
what would you recommend for the back of the house that gets the afternoon sun?
I would be lovely to meet you, Molly
It would.....
I'm not that up on what to plant where. I always ask at the nursery when I buy plants.
aha, that is a good idea
I'm working on a patriotic bed with red and white impatiens and a blue forget-me-not plant in the middle.
OOOh, that sounds lovely, Molls
Gardening is hit or miss for me, since I don't have the funds to till, shovel out and re-stock soil. I just try to turn the soil over well to get the worms working and then water a lot.
no funds here either, but I could do that too, if I could get motivated
do the plants usually turn out ok, Molls?
would love to plant some herbs or veggies in containers. I did that when I lived in an apt and had a balcony
They usually turn out pretty well. I pick hearty plants. Container gardening is fun. I've done that before too.
would love to see a picture of the patriotic bed
97 left, off for lunch, bbl
co 4/4 7/40 8/55 re 9/72 and re 10/91 are all related my friends..off to do some chores from the honey-do list..poink

testing out the new super duper high speed router:)
mm..not helping me find any more words;(
oc5/12 is a pretty blue but its partner oc 7/36 sounds like a steam ship of the old white star line
is there more than one oc5/12?
not sure,have not listed
cause the oc5/12 is not a color
well I have two oc5/12 and neither is a color
have not listed yet either

nm got it
hi everyone, just back from carpet bowling
I need the oc6 that follows the oc that crossy asked for
Hi Flosey, add a vowel to the one before it
thanks Molly
Dull room today. Everyone took their toys and went home.
Yo peoples
yes, very quiet in here
Hi Mark

another Cardinals fan - hubby has been a fan for more years than I've known him
his hero was Stan Musial
yes, many words we don't use
are the answers listed at the end of the day?
I am a Cards fan and Cubs fan...Everyone hates me
I don't know Alta, have never looked for them
the chat is listed in the Archives, but not the list of words
ok ty
yw
If you go to archives at the top there will be a line - to view word list - hit that and you'll get the words
Howdy peeps!
thanks hootow:)
hi HO, and thanks, guess I didn't look far enough
Just hoot will do - hi Alta welcome to babbleland
ty...not sure whether to thank or shoot Neil lol. He told me about this
No prob Flosey, If we finish the grid we don't care do we?
aha! Another victim! It's ok - we don't bite and we are very helpful.
so true HO, I see it now
ok - it did help in the beginning and vacations, that's why I know about it.
now I know where to look if someone says a word was in yesterday - I would not likely remember
I always think it was yesterday!
<--- Will refrain from calling Hoot, HO : P
hahaha - I just took as a combo! Hi Ho
Hii Moll
I dont see "view word list" Must be available to the upgrade?
oh, sorry hoot, missed your 2:32 comment
click on Archives and you'll see it there, Alta
No, it's not part of Babble Pro, I just logged out and went to the archives and I could see it. "View Word List" is right next to the date at the top.
ah I got it:)
You have to click on whatever date you are looking for first. Today, yesterday would be 19.
I finished middle of the pack yesterday...I'm impressed! I started looking from the bottom up hehe
Alta - short for Alberta? Canadian?
right
and you?
yes Canadian originally from Ontario, now BC
I love B.C!!! Too bad its the Bring Cash province. ugh
lol, have never heard that expression
going there next month. I have a brother in Oyama
don't know Oyama, do you know nearby towns?
right between Kelowna and Vernon
ah, thought it sounded like that area
east lake country I think its called now
or something like that
we think of it as the Okanagan area
yep, turn at Gatsby's and go up the hill if you know the area
where are you at?
we lived in Kimberley for 3 years, ski country
and golf:)
yes, there is a very nice little course there - mind you, that was 1963 - 66, many changes since then
oh! I bet... where abouts now?
Salt Spring Island
have never been there, but have heard a lot about it
hubby was born/raised here, went east to teach for 30 years and retired back on the old family farm
ok, time to quit, looking for words that dont exist at all now. BBL before work! gl all:)
nice to meet you Alta, have a good day
byeeeeeee
bye Alta
lunchtime, bbl
Name that Proper Noun: another name for the Samothrace
What?
ok - give! I found the word in a dictionary but can't make a connection to anything here.
Nike?
Nike
uusue - you win a pair of wings!
never would have gotten it.
:-)
It ticks me off that most people think a Nike is a running shoe.
Right, I was thinking of the Winged Victory of Samothrace and then remembered that Nike is Greek for victory (never mind why I know that...)
anyway, off to hear a talk about proton radiation therapy. bbl.
Cool!
well I know Nike is not a running shoe but it's a long, long time since I read the mythology and my brain is fried from this grid anyway! Jeopardy time - later

hi viajes
LOL Lillianne!! Wow, Firefly, like the others, I just read your profile...... Holy Moley. I hope you are doing OK.
Hello Mcurl :-)
hi peri, lynxxx - my headaches are much better, but still lurking from time to time. I just got off the phone from an appeals committee with my insurance, who thus far has declined to pay for my treatment. Should be about 5 days before I get the results of today's appeal.
hi Soodle :)
for goodness sakes, firefly, I do hope that they do decide to pay for your treatment!
me too peri - 110K and counting
There are A LOT less people chatting than there used to be, that's for sure.
Geez - you guys over there need to get a decent affordable health system. Anyway Firefly, what matters is that you are there for your kids and husband ((hugs))
Good Grief Firefly.... that is outrageous.
i've just read your profile too firefly. i hope all goes well for you and your insurance company do the right thing and pay for your treatment
i agree lynxxx, on both parts ;)
Molly!!! How lovely to 'see' you.
thx lilliann
Soodle, yes, yes it is
Hi Soodle.
bbs
hi buddies. am struggling here with the re 9/10 words. It's re + a co word, but I don't see it
Bloody insurance companies. so quick to take your premiums (premia?), but so bloody mided about paying out. Sheesh
Yes Lynxx, we do need affordable health care, and fast. More Americans are going without health insurance than ever before.
i must admit, that we moan in this country that we have to wait so long to see consultants in out hospitals but atleast when we need treatment we get it as we don't have insurance here
hi soodle; sorry so long to respond; I'm still at school/work
bichon, if you have the co7 it's to do that again.
re and what a penny/dime is and my *** is 43!
nice clue lilliann, thx

Ibuxx - have you got the 'to clean again'?
Is that the one you do to the bathroom over and over again?

Long may the sun shine on Chez-JMC.
Go Nationals!!
ty soodle how sweet

Stadium drinks and stadium food are insanely expensive. I would be pre-drinking my needs too.
sounds good jmc...hope your bills are alot cheaper doing it!
at least you can pack a sandwich into nationals park unlike a certain football stadium that will go nameless
the really good part of the solar panels is that i was the last person to get the rebate of beaucoup bucks for the solar panels
The Sports Junkies on morning radio talk about a guy they call Alcoholic Mike, who once duct taped a twelve pack of beer to his legs under sweat pants to smuggle them into FedEx field.
they frisk you for sandwiches as you go in?
at the football stadium yes lynxxx
can i have a clue for the ca7/40 and 8/55 please
Oops, cross posting, I named the certain stadium.
Hot peppers Liliann
you just can't bring in drinks into nationals stadium
that is okay molls he doesn't deserve protection
good for you jmc.i would like to get solar panels too, but would cost a fortune here
beer at nationals stadium is about the same as at a bar
Who? The Little Tyrant?
they were not cheap lill
but i included them in the budget for my rehad
*rehab
the tree cutter

I dream about steamed crabs with old bay... jumbo size at the end of summer

i am mati.lomg time no see and i hope you and katie are well
Soodle you can find San Francisco chowder recipes on line.
*packs old bay*
well, lill... if that happens, you will have lots of friends here to visit
blue crabs, jmc... in SF they have dungeness
People out of our area can't get Old Bay. I mail it to my friend in Connecticut.
which I like also, but they are different
absolutely lill i would love to put you up!
old bay is sold in grocery stores here and out west... it was bought out by mccormick and is everywhere now
I'm dreaming of the clam chowder we had last September outside Vancouver
true kje true
i need housing in vancouver for a friend
lol - I read that as dungarees
i would love to visit vancouver
im not getting the "tree cutter" clue on the CA 7 & 8.. any other clue?
I know, Molls, and I have tried to make it myself, but it was just the ambience, the chowder, Alcatraz in the distace.......... Wah wah wah.... I NEED to visit SF again!
I have an increasing number of friends in Bay Area -- people keep moving there...
the ca7/8 I have is a spice
i just love going abroad to any country...but i must admit, the hotter the better :)
It is the most wonderful place in the world for a holiday

obviously Katie isn't on
my hubby and i would love to go to the grand canyon, san francisco, and go to l.A and wheel myself down sunset boulevard>>.is that right?
yes
but rodeo drive would be the better wheelie
Lilliann on Rodeo Drive...imagine the stories!
we would have to take her credit card away before we let her loose there
thanks jmc, if we ever get to the U.S we would be so privelidged to stay with you
Please help - storms moning in. Will have to shut down and need ONE word. Does anyone have the very first co6 ???
rodeo drive...i was thinking that but my hubby said sunset boulevard!

Good question, lilliann. How *do* Eurovision contestants get selected? I never thought about it before.
I suppose nowadays they could do some kind of texting context, but before texting, I wonder how it was done?
normally we would hear a few different singers/duets/bands etc but we never had a choice this year
thise game is hard
Funny, I would have thought in an Olympics year it would have had some kind of Olympics tie-in.
really hard
normally we hear diferent singers and can ring in but not this year, but saying that i don't think we had a choice last year ..and it was blue which is a well known worldwide group and they came below jedward!!!!
This is a hard game, but the more you play the better you get at it. And it's fun even when you don't get a lot of words.

Remember, Eva?
dismaynot?
african country is capitalized iosnt it?
co 5/16 is co and Queen Victoria re***ed for over 50 years

Mr. Pockheel.
annie is the co followed by the asterics? i dont see in grid from the o to an i...or an e.
confused.
no....it was a very long time ago. I used to take the books out from the library at 84th and Amsterdam
It's the different planet thing again, mkg.
welcome to my world mkg lol
Worth re-reading, Eva. I read them like comfort food.
i am not from the kaplanisms i am from the goldsteinisms..............
yes, the astericks are the letters you need after the co
I'll look for them
my parents were immigrants so it felt very familiar
Out of print, but in libraries.
Yes.
kaplan are you saying that kaplan was added to in the 70s? is the author alive still??????????? roston wrote it right?
eva felt like home to me too. that yiddish accent and the pronounciation of the words. so wonderful and delicious.
wordwordword
Rosten. I don't know if he is alive- I'd have to google it, but he expanded his stories in the 70s. I didn't know that before.
do you remember "yoo ho-mrs goldberg"?
Abraham Lincohen and Judge Vashington.
I can't imagine that he is still alive
i assume it is reign w hich means i need eig and it is not in grid. so i am totally confused. there is no e near the o.
yoo hoo that is
I love the Goldbergs, and they are on DVD- even the old ones from before the blacklist.
ahhhhhhhhhhh mrs goldberg. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
HELP
there was a documentary written about her recently
That was an amazing woman- look on the internet- there is a wonderful film about her.

It's a film. It is fantastic.
The Goldbergs, we watched that all the time

ty annie.
HELP
never made it, eva - but am coming right over to your place for supper
what is mamaliga?
i am jealous kaplan.
My idea of heaven is endless reruns of the Goldbergs, Phil Silvers, and I Love Lucy...
it was yummy-but that might have been all the butter
it's polenta, from Romania
Your Show of Shows.
and Milton Berle
mamalinga sounds nasty
My family ate it all the time, but I never developed a taste for it
i believe that butter is health food
OK BAY
a sort of eastern european porridge
<---sides with welki
There's even a Yiddish song "Romania" which includes mamaligga
Sid Caesar and Danny Kaye.
so does asparagus, ru - but boyhowdy, i have some beeeeyoootiful stalks just waiting for the steamer
milton berle lived a few houses down from us on Fire Island one summer and all us kids were thrilled
the grid just got a lot harder
how about George Burns and Gracie?
they ate gefilte fish, we eat seitan...talk about losing your gastronomic heritage
I remember the Milton Berle show on my TV when I was a child in Brooklyn
i had coffee with soupy sales - does that count?
Yeah, all of them.
Ooo! Fresh asparagus!
Coffee with Soupy? That counts!
i feel like a cultural traitor, but gefilte fish reminds me of cat hair balls
Sandy Becker.
yes, welki, it counts big time
certainly does welki
I know, right?
ugh . . . nasty
i love gefilte fish. and derma. (but not starting the kishka chat again *lol*)
Zero Mostel and Walter Matthau lived in our building
that's ok Eva, it's not my favorite either
I do not like organ meats...
i got kicked off wonderama :(
Did you ever eat fekilachs
OMG- PB!!!!!
oh, eva, how fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!
derma-yucch
You tricked me!
what are those bichon
It's boiled chicken feet, chilled to make aspic. Vomatatious
Eva, fabulous...where did you live
Always hated gefilte fish... went to a seder where my daughter's boyfriend's grandmother ... from Russia, barely speaks English made some. I couldn't believe how good it was. Nothing like the jarred stuff
in the Belnord on w. 86th
I remember liking tongue sandwiches when I was a kid, till one day my mom cooked a tongue, and I realized that it was
12 left and kicking myself...not literally!!
truly disgusting bichon
A BIG FAT TONGUE.
On the other hand, there was Ratners.
discovered tongue sandwiches in France -- really tasty!
hahahaha ... here we go again!! <-- would eat chicken feet if someone served it. would eat a PLATE of gribenes in a cholesterol heartbeat
yes- i used to eat tongue until I saw the whole thing.
Kaplan, we have had identical experiences. I saw it on the counter and asked my Mom what is was
wow, eva, what a great neighborhood
with little sour pickles and red wine!
Smaltz!
ewwwwww
I was shocked.
i like tongue, too - i am culturally and culinarily deprived up here.
Do you remember those thick Hebrew National salamis?
Then there are the good things: knishes, kreplach
my bairn used to have tongue and piccalilly sanswiches when she was younger at her aunty's
Yes, hanging at the deli
does anyone remember LIchtman's bakery on 86th and Amsterdam?
and beet borscht with a big dollop of sour cream
There are still around, Kap
I am a vegetarian.
oho my mother in law's kreplach. she actually put cinnamon in them
We never worried about eating the skin of a chicken in those days
Yeah, but I haven't touched a salami in 35 years.
hebrew national makes very few vegetarian items. lol
Grebenes.
*sigh* i think i need to make a trip back east. to brooklyn.
I make decent knishes. Not the upscale puff pastry version, but the god ole brick like ones that would last you on a desert island for a week
I'm from Brooklyn Eva, different places.
dorens LOL!!
Then there are the most delicious: latkes
ohhhhhh ... digressing ... horn and hardarts!
i like brick knishes, eva
Hebrew National are the only hot dogs I will cook and at best, that is once a year on The 4th of July.
gabillahs :)
latkes, yum
love knishes!!!!
omg yes!!!! It was the height of modernity-putting a quarter in the slot and having food come out!
I was just recently at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum (my dad would say, what- the slum I was born in is a museum?) and bought a book called 97 Orchard Street which was the culinary history of 5 actual families from that building.
any jewish potatoe food is good with me
grbenes
Do you remember the commerials on TV for HN, We answer to a higher power
okay, i'm backing myself back into my white bread world - later folks
I am the only person I know who despises Latkes.
A relative of mine was a doent there: rose Teitelbaum
really-how could you kaplan!
Yeah I do- and "You don't have to be Jewish to love Levy's"
Really Kap. How could you, all that grease
I have assimilated taste buds.
of course-and hebrew national isn't even actually kosher.
It's not?
True, abnd either is Nathan's hot dogs
it's all beefm but that's as far as it goes. No hecture.
Nathan's I know, but not HN?
Ah, heksha.
Latkes with applesauce
Means certification.
Heb rew National
also pigs in the blanket...at bar mitzvahs
Latkes with sour cream is more old world.
I feel like I need to stomp on a glass or go sit shivah or something.
Really? Those Reform!
either is fine
when my dad "cooked" he made pigs in a blanket LOL
you can have port at bar mitzvahs?
We always had bananas with sour cream for Sat. lunch
no pork-beef
Molly, it's Friday night. Just make kiddush.
very funny unea.
Look at us, Shabbos and here we are Babbling.
we had bananas with sour cream on very hot evenings in the summertime
Mine made cheese omelets with VElveeta. They were great
Une, that is a very "Dad" thing to cook.
:-D
how tref of us
Salami and eggs was the only thing my dad ever cooked.
this is all so very exotic -- here I sit down in southern belle country! LOL
That is, before my mom got sick. Then we all had to fend for ourselves.
do you think there's a blessing for embarking on a babble grid? Maybe the Shechiyanu?
*Lights candles, says blessing Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech Ha-Olam*
My father made that or lox and eggs and onions. I miss him so much
Kugel? Exotic? Who knew?
mine did them too, but also scrambled eggs with onions mushroom
Is someone mixing tref in with the kosher stuff here.
don't touch those dishes!
I can also make killer rugelach
Babke.
and mandel brot
Whole Foods gives me donated food for our soup kitchen -- recently got a whole grocery cart of passover honey cakes!
My grandmother boiled chicken. She wasn't much of a cook.
getting very hungry. Living in Vermont you either learn to make those things are go without
the rugelach... that is a killer for sure... raspberry jam, eva? cream cheese pastry?
The one thing about being a vegetarian is that I never made my kids chicken soup when they were sick.
Now there's another disgusting substance-boiled chicken, all pale and pimply
a piece fruit?
Danish?
*Sits in Irish Shiksa corner*
apricot jam usually, yes, cream cheese and butter
and piece fruit....LOL
yum
Molly LOL
the Jewish Triathalon....canasta, a nap and a piece of hard sucking candy
Throw mama from the train a kiss?
oohhh, used to love playing canasta at my grandmother's!!

Camp Ramada! I love it. Ramada Inns are camp for the spoiled rich.
You're NOT HUNGRY? EAT!
essen meine kindila, essen
You're skin and bones.
When you're Jewish, food is the answer to everything
children all over europe are starving
"So send them my dinner."
baaad kaplan
my best friend used to respond to her mother with "Name one".
We have a Jewish catering place here called "Eat A Little Something" : )
That's funny!
a bissel
molly that's hilarious!
and for you......only a dollar
my Italian/French mother=in-law used to say "la faim vient en mangeant" :-)
When I had surgery [I was pregnant at the time] my Aunt Pauline made me some chicken soup with matzah balls. Never mind you're in ghastly pain, eat
I love it when people come up with clever names for their business. My favorite is an excavating company called Busy Ditch (think about it)
You're NOT hungry?
how many jewish mothers does it take to change a light bulb?
More lol's.
Never mind, I'll sit in the dark.
never mind-I'll sit in the dark
when is a jewish fetus viable?
You wouldn't get that one past me.
Oy, am I hungry. Oy, AM I HUNGRY. OY AM I HUNGRY!

Thanks much, lynxxx.
once we get the open bar going, I'm sure the chat will pick up
I think it's the 22nd. Not sure. If anyone is friends with her on Facebook, see if it's noted there.

the inpatients have broken into nurse ratched's office.
I will assume you are watching "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Very depressing movie.
yes i am. one of my favorite movies.
brilliantly acted.
I agree, the acting is very good. It's just the older I get the less I find movies like that entertaining.
because it's too sad?
Yep, and because it reminds me of all the people with serious mental health problems. Don't mind me, too sensitive sometimes.
ah ok.. new topic then
itll be in the high 80s this weekend. im very excited.it rained all day yesterday and now my flowers are sprouting like crazy
We think it will reach the 70 degree mark on Sunday making it the hottest day this year (so far.)
nice that you got rain. We had warnings all day but none of the rain fell in my area...
Ah, I planted today. Some flowers and another tomato plant. Rain all weekend for us.
i planted morning glories, wildflowers, marigolds and sunflowers
need to plant chili peppers...w ill do that tomorrow.
I have a beautiful elephant ear type plant that is going to bloom. third year in a row, apparently that is rare. everything else is sort of doing OK...though lots died last year...
my neighbors planted hyacinths and theyre' already blooming.. very pretty
And to inject some humor into the weather talk, something my son sent me today: You can only say WTF so many times a day, until you just decide to start drinking. : )
some psychiatric hospitals are still alarmingly like the one in the movie (having worked in one). and that's all.
Oooh I have had several days like that at work...
lol molly.. yes...

TY suz! I am not doing too well with this grid...
My ex is in the grid?

It's funny that they named her that Cos. It's actually a very reverential term. Used for The Virgin Mary at times.
funny, tor
ahhh how interestng
and it goes with their writings too actually
ryan is finally into that show after refusing for months... 2 weeks ago he got bored and watched it on dvr and now he's totally into oit.
re6/24 after the evilqueen plural?
I'll try a show if it means I can chat about it with my loved ones. "Breaking Bad" really tested my endurance level on that score though.
is it good though? i cant watch shows about meth due to my past.
re 6/24 = area
thanks gem
It's good, in a dark way. I can see why people get into the story line.
i think if i watch it woth somene else it may be ok.
i've never seen it (no tv), but the premise is wonderfully unique.
My kids are your age Cos, and they love it. Seriously think it's the best thing ever on TV. I'm a little less enthusiastic about it, but I can see why they are so into it.
its on netflix.. season 1 is at least. ill check it out.
The premise is unique Mab and it's the only show I have ever watched where I have grown to despise the main character.
i despited the main characters fo seinfeld and i watch it a lot :)
33 left. All from one tile.
you don't love Jerry? and Elaine?
no i cant stand any of them... i like the secondary characters.. frank, estelle, uncle leo, morty, helen etc
especially uncle leo.
