we have a great local store that does 90 days same as cash, and they actually extend it 4 months, not just 90... that was a nice little bonus

our landlord gave us a choice.. 10.00 extra on rent for water or the water co bills us direct. we chose the former

Oh, it's not far away, and she can get it for 6 months at a time, and only have to go twice a year, but she fusses anyway, over every little change.
That's a shame. But she probably feels comfortable, going to neighbourhood businesses, esppecially if she's lived in the area for a long time.

It was quite funny. She had intended to go a more honey shade of blonde, a la Jennifer Aniston, but all did not go according to plan. I kept getting anguished phone calls from the hairdresser to the point where I wondered if she was going to have any hair left.
Just look on her as the new lodger (do you have lodgers in Ireland? or is it just a UK thing)
Yes, lodgers can be a feature although maybe more so in university settings.
Anyway, she arrived home with auburn hair - it quite suits her skin tone etc but I still can't quite get used to it. She was initially very unhappy but cheered right up when work colleagues told her it was sophisticated.
My daughter bought what we call a studio apartment earlier this year - I missed her dreadfully for the first few months. Nice to have them around. Must run - husband just shouted out 'food' (he does it to Stewart too!) Dinner is served . BBL

me too west. My youngest suffered from adolescent depression and it was theatre that saved his life. He discovered he had the ability to loose himself in a character and he is a MASTER at making people laugh
kids are so free when they get on stage and I just stiffen right up

red -- do you know anything about migraines? As in -- mine appear to be triggered right now by this overcast, strange air pressure changes...
I know bright lights trigger them, too (I wear sunglasses almost all the time these days), but is there anything to do to kick myself out of the air pressure trigger?
other than live in a bathosphere, that is.
I know a lot of people do get sinus type trouble with air pressure changes.
you can't relaly change the air pressure...not even in your home...
hm. and my allergies have been just under the radar. *idea* I could take extra antihistmines, and boost at night with decongestants for a few days and see if that works.

the sinus allergies are so borderline -- and when I saw him he said I had nonallergic rhinitis. Which I know isn't true, because there are regular, plant-triggered increases in the sinus symptoms.
too much antihistamine can trigger a swelling response, and then you are back to where you started.
I have started taking Singulair, which is a pain...as my insurance does not cover it. Works really well for my breathing and my allergies...
ah... you know I usually take a vacation from the antihistamine in the summer, and haven't this year. I will do some research and see if there is a way to break out of this cycle
Is he any good? I find some allergists seem to just want to do a scratch test and such.
I also often take a break from the tylenol-caffeine this time of year so it's full-strength when I get back to school, but because of the migraines I haven't been able to.
Yes, I think that is what this allergist does. And it is discouraging. But to be honest most of the allergy problems are generally mild now that I have eliminated the bulk of the food allergens.
I have to be very careful with anithistamines. I take them for a while and then one day Poof, my nose swells and I really can not breathe.
But with the information you just gave me I can do some additional research and I will think about seeing the allergist again. It has been a couple of years, and it wouldn't be a bad idea to get fully checked out for new changes anyway.

There are some rules to this activity. After we jump in, have to co 5/14 the minutes that we're able to stay in lake before getting out. The first to get out of the lake has to treat everyone for breakfast.The last person to get out of the water gets 50 dollar Visa gift card.Usually it is my Uncle who fl 6/30s his endurance for cold water. I remember when I was a child,I used to pl4/5d with my Mom to not make me do it, but I always had to do it. Now I like this contest.I can never win,but I try to stay in for as long as I can. By the time I get out I am frozen from my he 4/5s to my fa4/7. My body is le4/7 w/hardly any feeling. My te 5/12 chatter for an hour afterward. By the way, this story is not fa4/8ual at all.
