ruby, A friend of mine had become very aggressive to the point of almost being violent. Her caretaker has to put meds in her food in the morning and the difference is amazing.
I bet you would see a dramatic improvement in 3-4 wks if he took Celexa or Prozac, etc. Are there any geriatric psych docs?

Owl, I know where he went. There used to be bungalows in the part of Brighton near where I live. There were rented out during the summer. Most of them are demolished and condos are in place now. Hey jes! Had a kid in one of the classes today who is trying to decide whether to be a vet tech or go on after tech certification/A.A degree to vet school... The lure of quicker earning power as a vet tech is strong.
I thought of you and all the hassles of the things you need to think about, and let her know she has plenty of time to decide. :-)
No real advantage to getting into vet school by being a tech; just adds 2 years to total schooling

'normal' should be what you originally signed up for. i hate bullies.
that's the problem, mab. my contract says 30 hours, but i thought they would be reasonable and allow me to gradually build my hours back up, i haven't asked them for any extra money, just down time.
plus, i think the condition of my right knee, ie it's accelerated degeneration, can be linked to the left fractured ankle i had whilst working.
i always think about the person who makes the mean decision, and what kind of person he/she must be.

they say it is almost routine. . .she fell last week and apparently there has been bleeding in her head and they need to let the blood drain out. . . she has been acting strangely . . . not reading or watching football so her girlfriend finally nagged her into going to the doctor

the surgery was to begin at 9 central so i figure if i haven't heard anything by flip she is okay
who knows what to do when someone is 2000 miles away and under someone elses care
well. I do hope things went well. amazing that she could function at all.
well she wasn't very well and that is what the problem was. . .it was good her partner finally insisted that she get checked out

i've been wanting a rum and coke lately. I almost never drink. it's been years.
well my hubby had brain surgery 3 times. . . the main thing is the brain swells the moment the skull releases pressure so they often have to wait for the swelling to go down
