sent the email Jill. only 64 pieces tho. i need a bigger one for a bigger puzzle right?
cos, was 64 at the top of the scale? The number of pices depends on the size of the picture -- the number of pixels.
The email hasn't arrived yet, but I'll look for it anyway in the regular way.
yes 64 on top fo scale. i sent directly from jigidi website. maybe thats why/
It will get here eventually -- meanwhile I had a look -- gorgeous photo! I've bookmarked it (working on something else at the moment).

hi, grannyrose :)
you guys won't believe the latest my work place has done to me.
it's a lovely cool evening here.
oh no, what happened?
in a week's time, i have been told, i will be expected to work a 10 hour shift. lol
every day?
how cruel!
so today i have been a busy little beaver...phone calls to surgeon, union and lawyer's.
3 days in a row, dcs. *shakes head* i can't believe it.
that's ridiculous at best
i don't think it is my direct supervisor, but someone further up the food chain with a cattle prod.
tsk *shakes head*
Hi. Some lovely words in today's grid.
indeed, hydra. the na5.12 i have pleases me
hey hydra, long time no see. how are you, hun?
Me too! I've only found 21 words so far but I have that and the le5.14.
well, i need to be up in 4-4.5 hours, so i should see about getting some sleep.
woo hoo i created a puzzle on jigidi. and 34 people have solved it . and its been up a hour only
Hi granny. I'm fine, thanks, but a bit sad as a good friend passed away last Sat. He was only 55. Sorry to hear about your work troubles.
lovely seeing yall :) Condolences, hydra.
{poof}
Thanks, dc. How are you?
oh, hydra, that is so sad, did he leave behind family?
night, dcs
and cos, good for you.
ah im sorry hydra
hi everyone, have been in and out all evening
Yes, granny. And a very complex situation because it's turned out he never properly divorced the wife he left 25 years ago. My friend met him a year later and they have been together ever since and have a daughter, But he has sons from original marriage. It's a nightmare.
cos, what a beautiful picture.
oh hydra, quite a nightmare indeed, so sad
Which one is you, cos?
ty :) thats my apartment building lol
Oh! Ha ha
which one is me? theres only one me sadly
Breakfast calls. See you later.
the cute young man beside the blonde girl - looks like you're talking to Obama
ohh my picture! yeah im the brown hair, blue shirt with sunglasses on top of my head
morning hydra. I hope that you OK. I go Lyme Hall (over beyond Stockport in "Alan country") today with Ast to look at a medieval document. Its raining. So what's new abt going to Manchester?

or is that someone else's hand
no idea. thats not mine. looks lie im holding it but im not black :P
thats a black hand holding it lol. a lot of people dont notice and thiink its my hand :P
yes, realize that, just wondered if it was shaded
and i just did it, cos. so there you go! as i said very pretty.
ahh okay. nah. actually at first i thought it was my hand too.. shaded then i realized that wasnt my phone/camera :)

Hello Rose...it won't take friand and I make them all the time
Hi. I'm back. Hello all. Hi scouser!
i know, lyn. tried the same thing...most frustrating.
hi Hydra
Hello lynxxx
you're back too, hydra. now where's jilli and flosey? in bed, i bet.
I had breakfast, looked at the chapter I wrote yesterday (have a 12 Oct deadline to write a book), decided it was dreadful and made another cup of coffee.
I shall stay for ten mins then get back to work. Not doing well. Only found 34 words. Oh dear!
It's not an easy grid, hydra.
morning Haz
Just found a 7, Haz, so am feeling proud!
And no doubt it will provoke numerous complaints about words and unwords. I'm beginning to moan about the moaners!
you've got your priorities right, then, hydra. lol. himself is on the internet, wanting to know if i needed another dummy( dressmaker's), i pointed out that i couldn't control the one i had(him).
{{{{haz}}}}}}
Well done, hydra!
Good evening, grannyrose, lynxxx, and everyone.
Ha ha! Love it. I have a dressmaker's dummy in the corner of the living room. I dress it in a different outfit every week. At the moment, she's wearing a kaftan and beads!
Where has scouser gone? It's not like my oldest friend not to say hello! Consulting the dictionary, I bet.
now there's an idea....wonder if he would go for it....i have some lovely outfits which never see the light of day...hope he doesn't get laughed at when he goes up the street, shopping....i mean, what do you wear with a salt-and-pepper beard?
Oh granny, you do make me laugh!!!
Salt and pepper beard? Has to be a mustard dress and tomato red shoes.
I am here now. just about to get ready to go and get the car tidied enough for a guest.
good, hydra, my job is done. add in the mental picture of a bikie, for that's what he is. a big teddy bear of a biker.
Hiya scouser!
rofl, hydra, his 2 favourite colours.
all I need is the un7/40
He sounds lovely, granny. Mine used to be a biker too. He was a Hell's Angel, Windsor chapter.
hi hydra
hey scouser. you're going to make your guest sleep in the car? *makes mentl note...never visit scouser*
You've done well, scouser. I need another 67 words!
not dug up Scouser
I just got it, too.
no just need to move the babyseat the box of books the bag of stuff the wellies the hankies the pennies etc etc
rofl, a much used and loved family car......
what is the third letter please
mmmm
m
hydra, mine was/is a part of a lobbying group for biker's rights. one thing we have noticed in any news report, is that the bike collides with the car, never the other way around.
aaaaaargh just seen it now Fireworks here and computer going off right now. Cough Cough wheeze wheeze I got Eva's cold. grrrrrr
scouser, think of pit to remove gold, silver, diamonds, coal
Except in my neighbour's case when the lorry was quite definitely deemed to have driven into him.
Bye, scouser.
night, scouser. hope you can rest well, despite the cold.
congrats Scouser. Bye
oh, and WTG SCOUSER!!!!!
Eva has a new trick - screaming blue ******* incoherences when presented with a) wrong length of loo paper (b) a folded piece of bread instead of flat (c) too curly prawn crackers (e) clean socks (f) too cut up spaghetti (g) not cut up enough spaghetti
geez - how old is she
oh, for gosh sakes!!! scouser, you have wings and a halo..
three
Imagine how fussy she'll be when she grows up. She could work for the EU measuring fruit to see if it's the correct size.
there is no off button and she does it at home too and at other Nanny's. I witnessed same on Monday. We keep saying its a phase.
Hope she grows out of soon before she drives you all bonkers!
i'm sure she is taking after dad - engineering type - takes everything carefully apart and examines each piece and then, puts stuff together once ore.
hmmm, no naughty step anywhere?
I think she needs some quiet time - I'd be leaving the room when she starts up
Right. Back to chapter 5 for me. See you later.
i'm with lyn
bye Hydra
after flip, perhaps, hydra. have a good day.
Yes leaving the room could work except at three her tinkering instinct is a lot greater than her temper so I don't leave her alone for long not having a flat with an empty room in it.
bye all
okay, scouser, please have a good day. see you atthe flip,Eva permitting, of course.
BBL
i'm outta here also. happy babbling all. see you at the flip.
pretty quiet here. I guess everyone is still counting sheep.:)) zzzzzzz
Hi blue - later afternoon here.
hi Dianne
?Where do you hail from
Hong Kong
Have you always lived there?
I've lived here 20 years and I can only speak "taxi cab" Chinese.
Chinese looks like it would be a hard language to learn. Though English could be a nightmare on its own:))
I'm pretty tone deaf and Chinese is such a tonal language. The word gai means street, chicken or prostitute depending on the tone and context. See what kind of egg I could have on my face!
omg.
what kind of tone would a chicken have? Boccck:))
When I moved here it was still a British colony so all the signs were in both English and Chinese so it was very easy not to learn the language.
What drew you to Hong Kong?
Business. We are in the toy and gift business.
Do you have a website?
No. We produce a lot of merchandise to our customer's specs so it isn't ours to show.
nice:)
Did you get the lone e in the bottom left?
not yet, will look .
er4,4
Thanks - was looking the wrong way.
yw
nice chatting with you, have a good day.
bye blue
ugh...good morning my babble friends
Good day! *brrr*
And very quickly I see that this is not a fun grid, so I will not spend much time on it.
howdy scwabby
Hi buddy boy. How is Amos doing?
tis a balmy 12c here this morning
amos? why he is the devil incarnate
he has become the bully
40F here.
A bully? He must be an adolescent then.
to give the other cats peace,we have devised the "leash of shame " treatment for him
Ha. Good for you.
all you do is clip a leash to his collar and he immediatly goes from alpha killer stalking bully to a dangle toy for the other two cats.it is quite interesting to see really
Funny boy.
it changes the kittens whole mind set
He is learning social behavior and how to become socialized.
and how are all those delicious, err i mean beautiful bunnies?
social is fine, but he cannot have the other 2 cats howling in fear and running for cover all the time
Very cute and sweet. They make me smile every time I look at them.
Amos is like a toddler--egocentric, aggressive, impulsive, unsocialized, uncivilized.
he actually snuck up on the kitchen table the other day and took a banana! caught him trotting down the hall with it carrying it by the stem
Funny!
morning all!
Hi Sue. How is Frank?
still in a lot of pain. had some tests done yesterday but no results yet.
suze!
hi crossy!
glad you were finally able to get him in suze
me too!!!
i swear,by the time people can actually get seen down there many conditions become much worse
well, part of that is just his own stubbornness
lol,i wait for nothing now.i have seen too many things go from stage one to stage 3 in 2 months
Blood work? H. pylori test, for sure. Upper GI test?
some blood work because he said he was fatigued, and the H. pylori stool test
There is a blood test for H. pylori.
well, they did a stool test instead, dunno why
the rest of it was just standard stuff, CBC, lipid panel, and the like
what are they suspecting suze?
ulcers, and the doc wants to know why he's so fatigued (because he's in pain, obviously, he says)
mm,i see all the standard babblets are making an appearance today
Gotta get ready to leave for work. Laundry is in dryer. And I must bring out garbage and recyclables.
bye, scrabs!
and I have to go walk the dog, bbl!
you have a good day scrabby
Bye Crossy, Sue and lurkers.

hi DC
Hi dcseain!
Ty hurshy! Got it!
Got all the stupid N's!
Going to the list.
seems like a very unpleasant grid today.
aside from the Q, it's been pretty slow going for me, hurshy
It is not making me happy...but I am determined to conquer it!
what's the i from the middle?
Clue for the second an4
ir 6/30
ty car
woman's name
tx car :-)
It is unpleasant hurshy
Hi Une!
can I get a clue for fu7?
ty, eeyore
Hi Une :)
hey, annie :-)
oh, wow, the eyedrops again!
well fu7, i know a 9 that means to explode, which to get from there to the 7 you remove -at- near the end of the word
hi, annie and une
ty for fu7
Hi dc :)
morning, seain :-)
and also for fu8 :)
Thanks!!! hurshy, got it
Thanks, the fu's are done
<---- not getting it at all :(

2nd an4 is a woman's name.

tx lynxxx!
Good morning, all. Once again, "indian" is not accepted. However, dr5/16 is. *head bashing*
Hi Judi!
di6?
good morning all
I'd say, were I to play devil's advocate, that dr5/16 describes a specific religious figure
Hi WV! Hi Mael!
was surprised it wasn't considered a proper noun . . .
but don't mind me, I have no idea what criteria this thing flies by!
hi car!
I don;t have it yet Hurshy
Nome of us do, Mael!
oohhh, just found the di7/48!
what's weird is at weboggle there is a totally different dictionary. lots of our words here don't count there, but FEST does!
wouldn't have even tried it if we hadn't gotten the ir6 earlier :-)
hursh, i always try fest LOL
Share please, Une?!?!?
I try it too!
tack a d onto ir6
why isnt annum a word?
TY Une!
huh. ty une
i guess it's only a word in latin.
ours is not to reason why, ouwachita LOL
annum is Latin, and the Latin in ENABLE is weak.
I wondered the same, Une.
Hi ouwachita!
We have Latin words here all the time. And German, french... don't get me started on the Gaelic words.
but we use the phrase per annum in business
indeed, gaelic words abound!!
di6 the start of not clean & blondes are not ***b
agreed, ouwatchita. I think it should take tyrranus and semper
wow, tx, lynxxx
and all the yiddish words LOL
ty lynxxx
The list of Latin words not accepted is lamented ad nauseum. (snort snort)
TY lynxxx!
judi LOLOLOL
that di6 has a visual elegance to how it makes an annalemma :)
LOL judi
well, e pluribus unum to you too...lol
showing off, seain? LOL
No need to hear about your anal enema, dc.
I learned the word annalemma due to the Annalemma Society, which maintains an old observatory in Great Falls, VA. :) It means the path the sun traces in the sky through a year -- so di6 is not a ful annalemma, but close.
:-D
our dcseain tidbit of the day
hey, teah :-)
hi, teach :)
Nice!
good morning all
*teach
lol
hi wv
ahhh, na7 -- the shrub that keeps on giving LOL

yay, car!!!
congrats, eeyore
congrats car

TY

keep up the good work.
Our pretty cat was beaten up on the weekend and got flesh-eating disease on his face. They saved his life but his face looks like a zombie now.
oh, that's awful!
oh no! is he ok?
I thought it was rare and hard to diagnose but the vets knew immediately what it was and rushed him off to surgery
that's was lucky.
He is really drugged up because it is so painful but what he hates the most is the cone of shame and having to stay inside and use a litter box. He keeps walking around backwards.
Must be going. hagn All.

No, it was eaten away so they had to cut everything out until they got to healthy skin before they could stitch it. It started above his eye and spread to his cheek so they just pulled what they could and hope the skin will loosen up when it heals. Right now he has one eye slanting almost vertically.
oh wow. thats so sad. i hope for the best

Hi Stidmama. Good luck.
hey cross
I am trying to decide what to do with the lovely defrosted chicken. Thinking backing sounds about as tasty as I have energy for -- I have been wrapping them in aluminum foil and just letting them steam/bake in their own juices lately.
howdy stidmama
or baking -- can you tell I have taught three days in a row? the last two days in high school.. and feeling as if the kids are smarter than I am today. (so tired...)
time for down time it sounds like
could I get an assist for one word for each U tile? then I will have NBT and can go take a nap...
un 7/40= not digging for ore
I need help with the mu 7 if anyone has it

I don't have the mu 7 yet
still thinking about ore
boring
got it! :-)
thank you crossy
yaa!
You're home. Good day?
thanks for the MU!
a good day, a long day -- some kids were pretty out of sorts for having me today. I was ruthless, though, and flogged them mercilessly and made them learn despite their best efforts. And in the last class... I made them play mad libs *cue evil wicked teacher cackle*
Such tactics! Are they approved of now adays?
<--- been a while since i've been flogged
well, the principal and the head secretary suggested duct tape, but I wasn't about to waste good duct tape on kids who have ants in their pants. (super glue, maybe...)
101 uses for duck tape (taught at Oregon.)
and then on my way home found out Tom approved the kid staying in town (he was supposed to take the bus home) despite the kid not having a cell phone... and our not knowing the parameters of the kid's mandatory evening band activity. Usually we have had to drive the kids to the venue.
So I can't check with him on his plans, or timing, or... and I am tired. Only about 5-6 hours of sleep last night due to middle of the night teacher-terrors.
but enough about my idyllic life... how was your day? wallpaper paste everywhere?
I still have the field trip/bus journey anxiety dreams.
I count. I count the number of names on the lists, then I count the bodies in the room, then I count them as they load, then I count them once they are seated, then I count them when we reach the destination and take roll again, then I ... you know.
Wall paper went up like we were experienced pros. We finished the pink in the bedroom and have two more small pieces to put in the hall. Tomorrow we can finish the hall and start on the striped paper in the bedroom. Straight cuts all.
Luckily, subs rarely have to do field trips and the one time I did I knew the kids really well already.
woo-hoo! Love the progress!
thank you for taking such loving care of the children who are in your classes.
I need to check on the pizza dough, something is bubbling. What?
I think my fav field trip was the one you went on last year, when we were mere volunteers, out to enjoy a day of art with older kids!
LOL enjoy your evening, Mother!
Bye to you mama. Take a good nap.
tomorrow I nap...
well, have hit the proverbial brick wall. back tomrorow or this weekend. good luck all! *poof*

Hi Min. Loved The Cosby Show.
Hello MollyL! How are you? I love your icon! That is funny!
My friends and I were talking about how that message should flash on your computer screen every so often to remind you to get up and be productive. : D
I was just thinking I would love to have a picture of that on my laptop screen so hubby sees it when he plays Farmville.
people still play farmville?
Minver, the image is here: http://tinyurl.com/bpx4n6w
(delurks) i still play it a little, but it is so huge it often crashes and i give up. today it crashed 3 or 4 times
Actually, now my hubby's new game addiction is "The Price is Right". I play Family Feud and Pyramid which hubby got me playing, but I only play it once a day. I'm not addicted.
its gotten too much for me. i only play at christmas when there are christmas quests :P

Good Evening! Not starting tonight (I have early clinic in the AM); just looking at the grid and thinking it doesn't look *TOO* bad at first glance.

Hello there Nef! How are you doing? Welcome to the chog.
OOH! Sounds like I should be glad I'm not starting and am heading to bed instead
