Good day kids.
Hi everyone. I'm new to this board, tho ive played quite a bit of tangleword/weboggle/wordsplay/cobradra\ngon. Ive solved todays and yesterdays puzzles with the help of lickety /hints from the board/morewords.com.
Yay for a new Babble addict! Welcome, Shallow One.
Now my question: is there a function or help site, that allows you to rotate the puzzle?
Thanks for the welcome, Scrabbler
Not yet. The site administrator, Dr God, is going to add that feature someday.
Where do you live?
good morning everyone
Berlin, Germany
welcome to babble shallow one
Guten Morgen. Ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch.
Hi Crossy
howdy scrabby
Prima - wo hast du das gelernt, wenn ich fragen darf?
Sieben Jahren in Schule
thats a lot of dedication - when was in Maine some 30 years ago, most of the kids struggled to complete a few years of spanish or french
Most US schools begin teaching a 2nd language in grade 7, which is far too late.
i was an exchange student then, becoming addicted to boggle in the developmental reading class, which was compulsory for all the foreign students
Mmmm......Hi Crosshair.....and Scrabbler.....and a big welcome to Shallow One!
Good method. So how did you find Babble?
Hi Flask
im a regular at weboggle, one of the players there has a link on his profile page, so i got curious
Good investigation!
of course when you play against the clock you never totally crack a borad, so I wanted to try this puzzle- approach
howdy flask
This is nice--24 hrs to finish, chatting with (mostly) nice people, asking for and getting clues.
but its very hard - i tried to get at least half the words before resorting to hints
yes,as time goes on,you will find that babble is uniwue in that it has greater depth that your standard word game
unique
There are many odd words that are in grids frequently. We call those Babblets. And then there are new words, that we have never seen before.
i liked kaiserin/s yesterday - though i would never have found it on my own - strangely i do have a hard time with the 'german' words
probably because when playing i need to set my mind to english first
Probably because you are looking for English words.
:)))
after 4 years + of playing babble, kaiserins is new to me
of course when the first hint came, it was an almost automatic find
me too.....never heard of it till yesterday!
have fun puzzling everyone, and thanks again for the warm welcome. I think im going to look for some action boggling :) and then some chores :(.

it is a fooooood day!!
i want a butter tart... will treat myself to some tomorrow
mm break fast, second breakfast, elevenses, lunch mid day snack, supper, dessert, after dinner snack and bed time snak...mmmmm
you know you wont eat that much..you will be full from your late breakie that you wont eat lunch
:p
oh my god/allah/budda/holy rooster,it is going to be a thing of beauty
proper name.name that city in egypt
cairo
cairo
the city of my dreams
ding ding! and ivesy wins a seat at the table for a full crossy style breakfast!
o yes! i am so hungry
and i have acid reflux pills on site ivesy,so no need to worry!
ok.. i have some too.. lol.. couldnt eat without them. ...
how can anyone stand acid reflux...i get it the odd time... and... i know i have to watch my weight... as soon as I lose a couple pounds i dont get it... if I had to take a pill for it every day I thnk I would kill myself
if you do not take the pill every day,you will kill yourself
i lost almost 40 pounds and still have acid reflux... didnt effect my glucose numbers either.. still too high
and you are lucky carlee, most of us are not on the cusp where just losing "a couple pounds" can make or break acid reflux
even body builders get it and neck size over 18 inches plays a part as well
i also dont eat things like..oh...wait for it... BACON :p
coffee can do it just as easily smart ass lol
anything oily or with high acid content
:p i know...i couldnt resist a jab to bacon
not to worry, next year it will be so expensive i will not be able to afford it
turkey bacon :p
coffee, sphagetti sauce, and oh yes that darn smoking
i gave up the lung darts 10 years ago:))
hence the 50 extra pounds:((
why is there going to be a shortage of pigs..i missed that part...cus the last few days I have been behind lots of pig bodies heading to the slaughter house
bad grain harvest this year
im afraid of wt. gain.. silly when i know smoking is so bad for me and wt gain is prob. a lesser evil
so instead of feeding them all winter, farmers are sending entire stock, including breeders to market early
explains why i have seen so many lately
i have had cancer 3 times and can DEF tell you that weight gain is the lesser evil ivesy
well..buy up now when you see on sale crossy... skip buyin gyour 1/2 cow and buy 3 pigs
already did.ordered 30 punds of reg bacon and 20 of peameal from my farmers market
40 pounds of farmer sausages
box of butterfly chops
rest of the pig i can live without
a good afternoon, all

f the oceans were to gradually rise, Florida (350 feet above sea level at its highest point) would become the first U.S. state to be completely submerged underwater.
there it is
so where would be last?
well crossy, I am pretty sure we here wouldn't be around to notice that :)
oh poor glant...heart strings being tugged by the grandbaby...

I think we might be among the first ones to go, crossy
3 grand babies, dawg. Visited for oldest's 9th birthday. It's all fine till they cry at the end. Hard not to cry back. Will see them again in January.
water level would depend on so many other factors, such as vallies, dams, mines, wind, desert absorption, etc.
a bit of crying will not hurt the soul, Glant. A sign of love that you don't like being parted.
lol... do you notice that nobody even notices the fate of Europe, and especially the Netherlands?
(((GLANT))) makes us all stronger...if not more appreciative of our time together.
grandbabbies are a parents reward for not killing their children when they were teenagers
lol
England is all low lying too. I am safer on my welsh hillside :-)
yes, england is also rather low. We will move to you then, when time comes, Glant :)
ahh wish i was there with you glant
sprite, i was just thinking of the low level islands that would be washed away or slowly eroded to mere nubbins.
I just wish these grand babies didn't live so far away

44 remaining and i've hit the proverbial wall. need another cuppa, back in about an hour...maybe a shower will help celar the fog from the noggin
shower sounds good. Don't have the energy for it though. Maybe later. See you then, dawg :)
*or clear the fog..
what proverb is this wall in? "when playing babble, eventually you will hit a wall".
hi hursh! Just when you think: I will find them all Right there it hits you: the wall

Hi hookie
well i had a successful morning
ooh, 3 more. I got this. ;-)
not that it's over... just my before-work morning.
that's nice, hursh!
and no matter how many times I thought I found one for the middle A, it turns out to be from a different A.
something was wrong with our cable box and they sent us a new one and my husband hooked it up last night and it wasn't working either, different error message. so they were going to send a tech out this week. but then it occurred to me this morning to check it and sure enough he had hooked it up wrong. i fixed it.
I had a good morning, then some small things happened and now I am out of energy. I don't want that to happen, but damn, it did.
hokie - opera solo
LOL, sounds familiar

It is a disorder of inflammation of the mucous membranes in one of the airways or cavities of the body
cataract is a &#$(*@&#$ phantom today. Trust me. Tried it 4 times to be sure.
hiya Une :)

mine is 21
yes, that's it.
lol, well then, i have the tequila.
good :)
i just love it when people clue a less obvious meaning of the word rather than the more common one...
it is a brand of tequila, so I was just trying it thinking it was a proper noun, not even thinking the customer thing. did I mention I am slow this morning?
hmmm i really thought racine was English as well as French . . . oh, well
I tried that too
I have tried racine, too.
I got the tequila clue... and I have the tequila as well

*grin* I always read it lilke that.
yeah, it was quite perplexing. but i didn't realize you could only suggest new words for the dictionary by clicking on what you'd tried, and you had to do it DURING the game, so i missed the chance.
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr matey!
ooohhh another proper name: Leslie *****

ty Molly and I have to apologize to you about the word tsoris. It is Yiddish and not Hebrew
No apology necessary. I'm the one who said it was Hebrew. I think Hego said it was Yiddish.
i just miss andy williams, that's all.
Harp...was that for Andy Williams? *Sniff* He will be missed.
It sounds like a Hebrew word though
RIP Andy Williams harp. Wearing a white belt and shoes in his honor.
I love you baby.......
Andy Williams was like a part of the family.
We saw his show in Branson, almost two years ago to the day! 10/10/10

RIP Mr Williams. And Hey everyone. :-)
I need you baby

Hi Soodle
Hiya Katie. :-)
Hi everyone...was sad to hear about Andy Williams
Soodle is here. (She gets around)
we nearly had can't take my eyes off you as our first dance as it is 'our song' but realised in time that we couldn't dance to it lol
.......memories of Stavros' Irish Bar, Mykonos, Greece, circa 1982....Your Just Too Good To Be True....... Dancing with a glorious Greek Adonis..... Sigh.......
See? I told you she gets around.
And Stavros' Irish Bar is an oxymoron.
I beg to differ, Katie!!!!!
It's like McKenna's Greek Restaurant.
Stavros was a moron, Molls. Period. Yiannis, however, was a different story.........
Soodle - if it's about the dancing you really have to see how bad hubby and I both are to understand :) we had Josh Groben's you raise me up as we only had to shuffle round
Oh Soodle. Maggie Smith won an Emmy award for her performance on Downton.
Shuffling can be good, in it's place...... And Molls, I've just watched episode 2 of Series 3. You will NOT be disappointed! I promise!
*Sigh* We aren't getting it here yet.
Hello to my fellow babblers! How is everybody doing today?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! Way to go!
Molls, I will happily e mail you with spoilers, but, really, its worth waiting to see it!
No thanks, don't want to be spoiled.
Hi Min
Very very happy Soodle this evening. A cheque arrived in the pist today for €800 (about a thousand dollars). I looked at it and said 'Nah! Gotta be a mistake'. Turns out I made an over payment on my health insurance in 2007, & got the refund today!! Yabba dabba doo-hoo!
That would be 'post'......
*waves* i had a dream about downton abbey last nght and ive onlyseen 2 episodes lol
And they are just now getting around to giving it back? I hope that came with interest/
Hey Cos. :-)
*Imagines Cos in Downtown attire*
women attire :(
Ah, shame. Those corsets are a bitch. : P
Molly, i'm asking no questions.... The cheque got lodged in the bank toot sweet, in case it dawned on them it was an error.
lots of my shows are starting in the States and I am being strong in not going to the spoilers but it is hard
lol molly :)
When will they show D.A. In the States?
early 2013..

Oh! You poor deprived nation!!!!
we get once upon a time before u do :P
We get anything that isn't BBC produced before they do. : P
yes these poor deprived people! lol
molly theres a one hour OUAT special. a one hour summary/preview before the premire sunday
Maggie Smith and Shirley McClaine are absolutely superb together. Maggie's eye-brow deserves an award all of it's own!
maggie won an emmy for DA the other day
Get with the program Cos. I already said that. : P
i read an article saying Maggie would win because she IS Maggie.
aw sorry molly lol
I have no doubt that it was a move of sheer brilliance to cast Shirley opposite Maggie.
i have a friend who is now watching DA so he can be ready for season 3 because of shirley
I love that Shirley is going to be the in your face American scoffing at all the British foofery.
And that she does! With knobs on!!!
ac7 please? :)

FYI. Tomorrow is Arthur's Day. In honour of dear old Uncle Arthur Guinness, inventor of you know what! I think, with my new found wealth, I will sally forth and toast his memory! (Even though I don't drink the stuff...)
*Raises a glass* Here's to Arthur. I don't drink the stuff either, but here's to those who do.
how many words today?
too bad its not bea arthur day!
ty for ac7
Surely Bea has her very own day. If not, you should start one.
bea arthur eve too -- for all things maude. then the day itself for golden girls yes?
Perfect. I will look for just the right caftan to wear.
Theres a very clever Ad campaign for Arthur's Day, called Chinese Whispers. It begins with somebody in Dublin raising a glass 'To Arthur'. It goes around the world to Tibetan Monks raising a glass 'To Lama'. Clever word play!
So? Thats settled then! Caftans & Pints tomorrow!

one of those quaint irish pubs with the great names like puddleby-on the wye or the fox and the tiddlywink:)
or the lucky tin can and tuppence
*Waves smelling salts under Soodle's nose*
Most Irish pubs are called Ryans or O Sullivans Crossy! Its the English pubs that have the cool names. A pub in Dublin called The Black Swan, but was invariably known as The Mucky Duck.
the neighbor bar here is called Robin Hood and its as seedy as can get ;p
Soodle, something I never knew
Hello Bich. :-)
still talking alcohol, are we? (hi all)
Hi Soods
No smelling salts required Molls. Your profile pic is shocking enough! Lol
No, I figured those pub names were more British than Irish. I thought you had gone queasy on us.
does the first ca6 have the high tile?
Racking my brains trying to think of the film your profile pic comes from Molls..... All I can remember is Murder spelled backwards?
The Shining. Heere's Johnny!

Aaaarrrggghhh. Of course. Thanks GE. That movie shittified the life outta me!
GE is right. And the caption for that picture is "Daddy's Home!!"

Going to get 2 of my favourite actors in here..... Jack Nicholson? To quote Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman..... Hoooo-Haaaaaaa.
<--Loves Al Pacino. Almost as much as I love Andy Garcia.
<-- misses john candy. now that was talent :P
Me too, I loved John Candy.
my dad and i loved him. he was the only thing we had in common so i remember when we were painting the living room and the news had come on saying he died.. during a rare time my dad and i were working together.
My ex (husband at the time) cried when he heard the news.
Good memories, Cos.
But, if you forgive me, John Candy wasn't eye candy. Unlike Nicholson & Pacino..,,,
i find none of the three eye candy :)
Anton Yelchin. Ryan Merriman. Chris Pine. Matt Damon. Sure.
Diffrent strokes, Cos!!!!! Lol
I just read an article on what people are spending per month on iphones and smart phones and nearly fainted. Seriously?
i spend 40 a month on mine. unlimited plan and its a non-contract phone
The article was about prime carrier phones and also about people paying for three and four of them (their phone and phones for their kids) Unreal.
yeah i can only imagine what the prices are
I will never understand why people need to watch movies on a phone. Or do anything but make phone calls, for that matter.
i cant watch a movie on my phone. screen too small. captions even smaller lol
Yikes. Almost 11.30pm here. Must bid you all a good night. Thanks for the company, as always! :-)

TO, your profile picture is very intriguing. what is it?
i forget, some kind of fly i think
it's a spider
google four eyes insects and it will come up
it's a little on the spooky side, lol
some days one needs eyes in the back of one's head around here
in that case, uusue, i'm not going there. spiders and i have a very definite understanding. they come into my space, their lives are in danger.
I did a google image search and came up with jumping spider
and I am not a fan of spiders and me occupying the same space either
their bites are the worst
if you want more pictures of that spider, go here: http://tinyurl.com/yz48ld7
my brother loves the wretched things. he lets huntsmen walk up and down his bare arms. yech!!
My very first day in Oz, hubby sick and there was a HUGE huntsman on the wall!!!!! Still, it didn't put me off moving here!

Hi all! Does anybody here use Safari to access the internet?
sorry, min. we don't use apple products personally.

bh 6/27 word is bh + TV personality **** Spencer reversed.
thanks Min but I'm drawing a blank of the TV personality Spencer
how about **** croft, tomb raider, reversed
thanks
thanks granny!
bh6/27 word is bh + a princess wears a ti*** plus consonant
min, is there a tech. support you can use if you are having problems with your safari access?
I use safari and chrome
I do not have a problem,I was just wondering how I can set my homepage. I want to set my home page as Google.
ah, let me check real quick... nrn
brb
I use Safari and Chrome also, but Chrome has been telling me that my flash plug in is out of date so I have to play my games on Safari. However, I do prefer to use Chrome.
min - click preferences and it will ask what you want as your home page
did you update flash or chrome? I'm playing on chrome right now with no issue
I can babble on Chrome, but I can't play my FB games on it
I am also on Chrome now too,but I am playing Family Feud on Safari.I guess you could say that I am multi-tasking now
i play scrabble on it via FB, but that is the only FB game I play
Great, thanks kje!
I use safari for my netflix as netflix doesn't fully support chrome yet, so occasianally it will malfunction
and of course, at the most important part of a show ; )
Family Feud&Pyramid are the only FaceBook games I play.
Do you have an iMac kje? That is what I am using right now
wow, I remember that $100,000 Pyramid game - that was a fun one on TV
I am new to this game, I love word games but am getting older and not as swift as I used to be. Am interesed in playing this game and wiil Upgrade if I can figure a few things out. I found a word that is 24 points but cannot figure out where it falls on the Tile Stats. How are Tile Stats listed? The word I found is 6 letters and 24 points, how are the Word Stats listed. Is there a central rules list? I know the regular players have some code between themselves I have figured out so all I need to know is where to find out the Tile & Word Stats. I will join you all in this fun game as a Pro as soon as I am comfortable with how to play the game, is there a site I can find this info on? Right now I am playing by myself!
I have air mac
welcome mimi!
go to the "help" icon above the chat and that has the rules. If that doesn't answer your questions, come back and ask and I am happy to help
ist ra6?
first ra6?
of a people of a country or culture
word stats are the length of the words. for instance today there are five 8 letter words and one 9 letter word. the stats fill themselves in every time you add a word
ah, twisty little sucker!
ty granny
Pyramid is also fun on FaceBook kje. Actually, it is better than TV version since you get to play and there are no ads.
I just blocked ads on all my sites - lovin it
Actually, there's one ad in the beginning, but it's only 10 sec
hi all. clue for the e bottom corner and next e as well please? as a matter of fact i dont have one word starting on the bottom row so send all clues!
last ca7?
How do you block ads on all of your websites kje? I want to do that. I hate those stupid ads.Are you talking about pop-ups or ads? I think that there is a difference between them
ee5/10 - scary
Hello mkg!How are you doing tonight?Welcome to the grid
min - cross posted a link the other day, let me see if I can remember it
ca 6/21: My car ca 6/21 off the road as I swerved to avoid a deer kje.
on chrone, google adblock - chrome google store adblock will be your first choice
ty got ee 5.

yw mkg
Oh, you have to buy something? Then I'm not going to do it
last ca7, feline + pirate speak
it is donation - whatever amount you want
damn, I thought that was a phantom
Oops! So sorry kje, but I do not have the last ca7 word yet.
mkg, as6, more like remains of a fire

os7, os** (large flightless bird) + 1st vowel + the **t sat on the mat
got the ca 7. ty for clues.
Thanks,KJE, this is a new adventure for me.
you will be addicted soon, mimi
not getting the other a words for ;left corner bottom a. i cant believe there are 4 words. i have one. cant imagine others.
ir6, to press clothes + In Charge
er5, flower, think of heather

mkg, all as6 that's going as6
hey all, not playing today, just poking my nose in to chat a little.
uno
as6, to do with the stars
grannyrose, how goes it?
hi stiddy
the er 5 is also a woman's name
as7, a + severe,strong discipline

WTG KJE!!!!!
Congratulations kje on your fireworks display!Good for you
woooooo hoooooo doc
<--- never delays fireworks
Hello rururocks! How are you doing? Welcome to the chog.
bout time
<---- wants a cookie
hi minver
:-) also well -- will end up having worked three and a half days this week by the time Friday night rolls around, and feeling pretty good about that. I just wish I could get a single, multi-week assignment to prove I can plan as well as manage classrooms!
hey ruru
hello Min and YAY kje!
<--- shouldn't have eaten cookies for breakfast
hi ms gluten free
*offers fresh ginger-pear crisp in lieu of cookie*
cookies for breakfast?
it will happen, i'm sure, stiddy. your day will come, and you will shine.
stidmama, have you seen the website teacherspayteachers
and the pears are from my own asian pear tree, and the topping is gluten free because tom made it for me.
restaurant suggestion for saturday night, ru?
yes, Min! one of my new places to go when I have time! LOVE the lessons I find there!
yes, they were there... went well with coffee... now gone
for? what kind of food?
still searching for a word and i word and o word. the clothes word i have ir 4, but in charge i dont get.
thanks grannyrose -- I know it will, just impatient. You know me... yesterday isn't fast enough. LOL
have a friend in town
mkg, use the capitals...In Charge
I just found out about it this year. Can't believe I have been teaching all this time and not known about it.I want to get my kid-friendly common core standards from that website.
something foodie worthy, fun, good cocktails, good wine... ec
Frances, Benu, Boulevard
mkg, now add mr gore for an ir8
er the flower didnt get. any other clues for it?
is that 3 places?
that's a great idea, Min -- hadn't actually thought of that, yet. LOL I know our state standards in my content areas pretty well, but hadn't quite gotten around to the kid-language yet.
yes
oh just got the ghirls name. is that a flower too? er 5.
and now of course we will adopt common core, so I need to figure out the correspondences. *rolls eyes*
ok, will check them out and choose one - ty
e + ***e (a grain, served with chinese, japanese, indian food) + 1st vowel
<---- likes having a personal wine and food guide
We have to post them in classrooms and kids are expected to know them & what they mean which I think is sto0opid!
er 5 is a family of plants that includes heather, rhododendron and blueberries
Boulevard is great.. benu is incredible
ty got the er.
dont have the i words at all. 5 of them. darn.
I like the art deco website at boulevard.... is that a good enough reason to choose it
mkg, another ir6, change second vowel of other ir6. then add mr gore again for ir8, 2nd one
I agree with your assessment in general, min -- on the other hand I think it is good for the kids (especially the older ones) to understand why and what they are learning. When I was a child too often we just did endless, mindless tasks and never knew why.
kind of like those people who choose wine by the bottle art - lol
mkg, you have press clothes?
I choose wine by bottle art - sometimes. But once that ended up getting me a wine that I was allergic to. So I am more cautious now...
i have NO ir words except ir 4: what you do to clothes.
you can't go wrong with Boulevard.. it's always great
anyway, just chased Grant's gf out so I can get ready for bed. Two long days an hour's drive away coming up. It's going to be fun, just tiring. (((hugs))) see you-all again soon I hope! *poof*
add In Charge(use capitals)
and a great wine list and cocktails
valet parking too
sorry - art nouveau, not deco
valet parking.... HUGE!
ty. got an ir six and an ir 8! ty.
it ain't deco that's for sure
on so that is two i words of the 5 fromn bottom row i.
oh wait.... benu has pretty food on its website
okay, mkg. now change the vowel after ir for another ir6
benu is wonderful
probably the best food in the city right now
though one of the items looks like a caterpillar
ty! got it. now have 4 i words from bottom row i.
mkg, means peaceful
Frances is really good too
add mr gore
need one more. do you have it? ty granny
it's kinda near you too
may come down to which one i can get into... thanks again for the suggestions, will let you know what works out
last one. io5, charged particle + In Charge
i have a6 6 and 7 for left bottom corner a. what is last word?
Kids do need to know why they're learning what they're learning, however, they do not need to know it terms of standards and what the state expects of the kids. These days, it seems like kids think the only reason they need to know something is because of all the state tests.
you will be happy with any.. if you need more suggestions let me know I got a zillion of them
ty! i is grey now.
any of the three I mean
as6, of the stars
Darn it! stidmama left. Oh well hopefully she'll see my post
I am going to follow stidmama out the door and leave also
really good cocktails at Bix too
Goodnight to my fellow babblers! I'll see you all tomorrow.
I need to go to sleep.... long day today, even longer tomorrow
night, min. hope you have a good one
good night minver
i thought astro was a word but it isnt. so am stuck
gnight min
well damn it, ru... now I won't be able to make up my mind
it's only 8:20 grandma... jeez
LA 5/10 please
mkg, keep going up, so the word ends with mr gore
well.. you ARE getting older and need your rest kje
ooooooh - bix has jazz
la5, l + double vowel + **se and shine
bix is fun.. food is C+
la5/10 is l + double vowels plus smallest state abbreviation
<---- desperately needs beauty sleep
*POO*
C+?
yikes
*POOF*
minver just shit on us
got it! ty ty
thnx minver - never would have monkeyed that
maybe just hit it for drinks
ty.
ty
yes doc.. Boulevard is an A, Benu is an A+ , Frances is an A-
good idea
take a cab though
need the other o word bottom row. have oa 4. what is other one please?
its downtown near the financial district.. not far from Boulevard
on Gold alley
so maybe boulevard and bix... are they walking distance apart?
os7 mkg
os7, os**ich ( flightless bird) + 1st vowel + the **t sat on the mat
no.. it's too far to walk
i have 0 words for a that is in middle of grid. and wow there are eleven a words above it. yipes.
it's a short cab ride though
ty granny. super clues. got it.
bottom row grey now.
you could walk to Town Hall for drinks from Boulevard
maybe boulevard first, then bix and jazz after? do they have decent bands?
Town Hall is fun too
yes.. they have good band
bands
at6, at + **ght or wrong + mr gore
best jazz is Yoshi's
ao5, largest blood vessel in body
ty got blood vessel granny
lol .. can't say it
ao6, add consonant to ao5
got at 6. ty.
yoshi neighborhood?
Think it's near Hayes Valley
ar4, song in opera
it might have closed and there's only Yoshi's east in Emeryville across the bridge
ty got it.
ar5, fine ar*s (painting, music) + mr gore
oh, I heard about yoshi's in east bay...
wow. ty granny. a in middle is grey. super great clues.
great venue.. and great acts come there. good place for music
i am off to sleep. ty for all clues.
someone said clift hotel is a cool place for a drink after shopping union square?
night mkg, sleep well, hun
it is.. there's music there too.. it's a bit stuffy though
there's bisquits and blues too downtown
my friend (serious musician) was not a fan of yoshi's
I think 25 Lusk has music too
I think he'd prefer a less frills true jazz bar experience
lots of places to go in sf for jaz
jazz
there's a place near cafe claude that is fun.. can't remember the name though
friends are in their 50s, so not looking for the young scene thing that night.... not old and stuffy either, but something comfortable?
hmmm.. let me ask some friends.. call for rezzies tonight at boulevard.. it will fill up for sure by the weekend
you can walk along the embarcadero too afterwards.. you could go to the waterfront restaurant for drinks on the bay too
no need to ask... you gave me lots of stuff, will check them out... thanks for all your help for the newbie
I think they have music there too
okay.. have fun wherever
hope you like them
gn
