and i hate clues like this: "can i have a clue for the cr 11/65?" you plural the cr 10/58..."ok,how about a clue for that?" oh,it is the pt of the cr8/44..and it goes on and on till you say forget it,i have not listed,i will just hunt for the base word on my own thank you

The worst thing I have seen here is the "arrangement" to collect money for a certain player in need, and that money never getting to that person. I think that caused a lot of distrust here and chat hasn't been the same since it happened.

We have had controversy over the years. JC divided people. There was a guy who used to play (and I can't believe I have forgotten his name as we were 'babble' close) who used to type in German and Dutch quite a lot which caused a stir and other fall outs that have happened along the way
On the other hand, we had an awesome meetup at Bugsaw's this summer - I was SOOOO happy that I was able to go! And I would totally be going to peri's meetup if I were still retired.

I had a pillow case. But it was the rare house where we got a candy bar. It would be apples, popcorn balls and lots of candy corn and such.

I went to Catholic school and before they started making us go to school on holy days of obligation, the day after Halloween (All Souls Day) was a day off. My friend and I would always have a sleepover on Halloween night.

SO glad I have always made it a habit to get the classroom totally ready for the next day before I leave! I will be dragging myself in early tomorrow in case a student follows up on his request to arrive early to finish some work. :-)

My Halloween went very well -- no visitors, which is what I wanted. But all the people working in the stores, and lots of little kids, were dressed up this afternoon.
And I'll be baaaack for the flip...
my neighbors reported an extrmely quiet day, expecting many and getting a handful only. All is well in the land of peace and quietness.
