surgeon came in and talked to us briefly, Frank's electrolytes are out of whack so they will be giving him some IV calcium and potassium, as well as oral potassium, and he won't be going home before tomorrow (WHEW!!!)
but other than that he is doing well

here we have a arbouredum where people can plant flowers and trees in honor of loved ones and have picnics etc.it is a thing of beauty but up till the 50,s it was actually our town dump from the 1840,s till 1951 then it sat till the 70,s and a bunch of people got together and cleaned it all up and made it a stunning green space for all to share.i looked on the plaques on site found a phone number and called the lady who originally spearheaded the operation and got ahold of her first time.she was in her late 80,s and actually went blind in the mid 70,s and never saw the finished product of what she worked so hard to acomplish,so i thanked her ,then spent half an hour describing it to her,all the trees,and wildlife,and streams and fointains..was nice

Came back on as uusue posted on caring bridge, Frank has two cancers with microscopic findings on lymph node and spot on bladder. Appears treatment will not change..dang, news not great but they remain hopeful..

It's really been bugging me, very frustrated with US healthcare system. Here he was symptomatic for weeks without proper care...refused by GI MD appointment due to no insurance...weeks without treatment...totally frustrated!!

yes, the surgeon seemed quite optimistic. We are rather shell-shocked at the moment.
Can only imagine...had one cancer scare 27 years ago...but thankfully my lung tumor was not cancerous...you both have my heart uusue..
