We just had a visit from a nurse who has the same cancer as one of his (did I mention he has two?), has an ostomy that will be reversed tomorrow, and has just finished her chemo

did i ever tell you all that when in my oncologist office day before the operation,he reached into his desk and pulled out a prosthetic nut for me to consider?/ lol i told him i did not see the need but that if he would give me one i would make a necklace out of it and have "in memory of "lefty" 12/05/1995 incribed on it ;)

they will, we actually haven't seen the oncologist yet (this all came from the surgeon)
my second was lymph nodes and it responds very well to cisplatin chemo
so very sorry, Sue . . . big big hugs to you

surgeon did talk to the oncologist, they are quite optimistic that chemo can get all the strays even though it is technically stage 4
but frank will be very ill:(

the nurse who came in said she didn't get sick from the chemo, just really really tired
it hit mes so hard for the nodes,that the mrs had to actually bathe me on my home days
but each case is unique to the person

hello...speaking of cancer...my daughter has hodgkins...treated with chemo and radiation, then stem cell transplant..that didn't work, cuz then it went into her lung tissue. They don't know how to treat the lung part. Still in her nodes also
and i had to have several blood tansfusions..could of used that beet book

cut the tomatoes in half first, use large ones

I have a friend in KY who has had cancer several times......the last one was in her right groin. I flew to KY from Ct and she came to the hotel room. I had told her about this before.....she thought I was trying to be God....I, finally, convinced her I was not. She and her husband ( he read a magazine) and I asked her to lie down on the bed on her stomach....I kept my hands about 3 inches above her body.....then I asked her to turn over and I started at her head and when I got to the cancer....it started jumping up and down.....she sat straight up and said that it had never moved before....I had heard about these things but this was the first time I witnessed it.....she laid back down and I held my hand over it again and would stop whenever I moved my hand away...this went on for several minutes.

aww, my icon is my old man dog. He died July 14 of old age and help from mom. shdybr8, shdy died november 19 2011. bear died july 14 2012. now have new critters
