I had the nausea and hair fall out chemo - but I didn't have hair fall out or nausea. Sure thta was down to the Plant Programme diet
i had the numb fingers and toes and extreme nausea

I had nerve damage form suregery in 2005, the nerves from that damage have recovered and healed incredibly slowy and I now have partial sensation there - but I think the chemo just kills the nreves so they can't regenerate
they do indeed glant my fingers half way up my hands and my foot to the middle of the foot are pins and needles all the time
there is a long shot for a med that is usually used for diabetes patients,but it is not coverd and astoundingly expensive

I used to tell my first graders that not every word had been invented yet and they could add new words if they wanted to. It was a great encourager for spelling.

Doing better, actually, Diane. Doctor gave new meds so I think they are helping.
I can cope with the arthritis...it responds to painkillers ( somewhat ) but it's the fibromyalgia that is a stinker.... doesn't respond to much !!

But then I go to the nursing homes on a regular basis to play the piano, and I think "how lucky I am" !

I'm a bit punchy tonight...had a long, tiring day and the police just left because some guy was knocking on doors in my building claiming to be with the cable company......NEED REST!!

I don't know but I doubt it. He knocked on my door (I'm the one who called the police) and I got rid of him but then he came back and knocked on my neighbor's door (another single woman) and from what he said I think he was trying to gain entry. So I told him I was on the phone with the police and really let him have it.....he left all the time saying I was nasty.....well, EXCUSE ME!!!

He was asking unusual and inappropriate questions and it was after 7:00 at night. I called Cox Cable and they are the ones who said I should call the police because their people are supposed to quit at 5 and wouldn't be asking those questions. He also refused to give me his name...another no no, says the cable company. He picked the WRONG door to knock on!! I'm all of 5'5" but I'm MIGHTY!!
I normally do not open my door to strangers, especially at night, but I thought he was my neighbor from downstairs---he looked like him a bit.

I've been up since 5, had to go downtown which required about 4 hours total bus time, had one meeting there and then had another one and then stopped at the store.....most of that was walking, so I'm just glad I can still do that considering the heart attack earlier this year.
