ruru, I missed a red light and banged into a car crossing in front of me. It was dark and drizzling. Both airbags in my Toyota Corolla deployed and the front end wa bashed in. The other driver was not hurt -- no passenger.

Ugh...well, my heart goes out to you because it is a nightmare dealing with insurances and the lender. I'll be thinking of you and hoping for a speedy and full recovery.
I really loved that car -- the dealer called it a "baby Lexus". It was a silvery colour and didn't show the dirt -- leather seats, sunroof (they called it a moonroof for some incomprehensible reason), just a perfect car for me.

I'm shaken, melon, and a bit stirred but ok, thanks.
Mine van wasn't anything special but it served me and my grandchildren well. Auto sliding doors, stow-n-go seats, I could haul a small army, if I had to. I wasn't looking to replace it so trying to select a new car was awful. My heart wasn't in it and I was afraid to drive.

What's weird, or maybe not as less weight bearing is involved, is that I can ride a bicycle for 20 miles, but can barely walk around the block.

She swam several times a week!
I know choosing music was a happy decision for me. I never made more than 1/3 of my living playing, but i got to chase the dream and take a little bite.

A really good appetizer is Stella Doro break sticks wrapped in bacon and sprinkled with Parmesean cheese.

Yeah. We have numerous charities that do curb side pick up here. So we've had bags of stuff that we've given away every week. Plus 12 bags of clothing at one haul to a women's shelter (Aunty was very stylish for an 86 y/o!)

It's a women's shelter for battered women and their kids. Our church and my women's group are always asking for donations for them.
Our last "clothing" drive at church asked for single sheets and towels and blankets for them. We got 21 brand new single sheet sets for them (I can't remember what else; but I thought that was impressive)

I ac4/6 this grid in no time so now here is a story of clues as I always te4/5 to do when I'm done When I was in college I got bu 6/30 trying to steal a cup of coffee from a ca 4/8 that I worked in. I'd just gotten to work and needed my early dose of ca4/11eine. Even though I worked there,I still had to pay for the coffee. I decided to de4/10 the stupid store rules and took a cup of coffee without paying for it. When I didn't pay for my coffee, a ge 4/6leman named Te 5/8, who was also my boss, caught me taking it.I denied any wrong doing and told him I had already paid. He said, "it really ge4/6 my goat when people steal & then lie about it!" Things got really te4/4e & we argued for about ten minutes. Then he threatened to get the fe 4/8 involved so I decided to conce4/6 and gave in. I had to fa4/8 the consequences of my actions. I was also fa 5/20 with criminal charges. Fortunately, I did not go to jail.I got fired from that job and got no more pay st4/7s. This en 4/5 my story. I am going to go watch the Gwyneth Paltrow film "Du 5/14".

But I declined because I did not want to be on roads tonite
i went to a friends house. Was supposed to be a nice quiet get=together. And then some other firends turned up, and the people from next door, and what was supposed to be a nice quiet get-together became quite good fun. Loved it.
My New Year's resolution is to not make one.Then I will not break my resolution. I make the same one every year. I am very good at not breaking my New Year's resolutions. LOL!

It's been a strange NY Eve here due to family stuff, but thinking back over the past year I think the positives and negatives were fairly equal. Would quite like more positives in 2013 though.
Its silly but I always have bad luck in odd numbered years and this coming year ends with the number 13!
2012 brought a lot of bad things, lost 4 good friends and hubby diagnoesed with Alzheimers...so am looking forward to 2013 being better
