I'm fine but it's infuriating that those images are broadcast throughout the world.
They emphatically do not have the support of the vast majority of people. What was supposed to be peaceful protest has been hijacked by recreational rioters and professional thugs.

I'm a bit sad today. Don't know if any of you remember the domestic abuse victim in my apt. bldg. a month ago. He was taken to jail and the apt. complex said he must be off the lease. Well, he came back last night. Will be waiting for more screams at midnight, I guess.

I feel so sorry for abuse victims. Hope they both get some counseling.
They don't know yet but I'm going to tell them when the office opens. Sometimes people need to be saved from themselves, I guess. I don't know if he has been back longer and I just didn't know it or now. My neighbor across the hall knocked on my door at 8 and told me she saw him just walk on up to the door and use a key.

I've seen so much of this in counseling, smores, and more often than not nobody gets any help. I did counsel her that night after the police left but I'm never surprised when the guy comes back. We'll see what the office does. She'll probably lie and say he's not there. Their hands are kind of tied.

When it happened to me I lived in an apt. complex and a former boyfriend lived there as well as a cop and a hockey player. One night they heard a woman screaming in the pool area and all three of them thought it was me and they all came out with baseball bats and the like ready to clobber the guy!
yes it's joint counseling. it seems unlikely he will change, as he is a complete narcissist, but, one can always hope.

When our marriage was nearing the end, I used to fall asleep nights thinking of ways to kill him and get away with it. The best one was stab him in the heart with a big icicle so there would be no weapon to be found and then...out into the desert in various locations, if you get my drift.
We are so much better at being divorced than we were at being married. We're quite close now. I'm glad that the 23 years wasn't completely dismissed. The kids are glad we're friendly.
I had an ex-boyfriend steal my dog after we broke up. Couldn't proof anything, but I knew he did it. Ran into him at a bar shortly after and it took 2 bouncers and the bartender to get me off of him. Never got my dog back, but he had to get several stitches.

reading back on the abusive relationships.my mrs was dating a woman beater before we started dating.she tried to break with him and she had her first date with him.next day she showed up at work with bruises on her arms so i drove her to her mums and paid her for the day anyways and went to "talk" with the boyfriend.the poor guy.while we were talking he tripped on the stairs and hit his head,and when i went to help he was hit in the stomach by the hand rail and if i did not just help him up and lo and behold he fell and got a black eye.i advised him that maybe he was having a bad day and to perhaps try being a single guy for a while and stay health.he agreed with me and i helped him back to his front door.the scars however can take time to heal.took over a year before i could hug my beloved without her flinching,and that was the real cost of it all

You could go to school online, hurshy. That's what I did...University of Phoenix. It's wonderful...they have an extensive library right there online and you could take a class or two while still working. It's so stimulating and you're in class with people from all over and the discussion are invigorating.

hi stid was off checking the weather.53 on Sunday
it was good, jilly! I subbed for a different teacher, but same set of 7th graders. LOL poor kids are starting to feel they can't get away from me! (it was only two classes, just the afternoon). BUT I discovered that I really do have a pretty good handle on how to approach them and how to get them to work. Which was a boost of confidence I needed.

yes, out here generally speaking 6-8 are in middle school, though a few districts keep 6 in elementary and have a "junior high" model instead.

Was driving to get my elder son at his college to give him a ride to orchestra rehearsal. There, sitting on a stop sign was a SNOWY OWL!!!! (very rare in our location). It looked RIGHT at me. By the time I got turned around, it had disappeared. But it was such a lovely, unexpected -- joyful -- thing to happen to me today.

Whatcom Community College is a decent school too -- and would be less expensive for getting back into the groove of things.
she spent the last year in Seattle and did take some art courses at the community college there
