It's so strange to hear about a Vet oming to your house. But, it's great news ruby
I am very happy about it because Ruby was so sick last spring that I thought she was a goner
she's been coming here since Max needed treatment but was too fearful to be taken off our property
It's nice that the Vets in Frane are so personable
our house is on her way home from the clinic where she works and the village where she lives. She brings Ruby's meds each month
no, she was a rare find. We used several others before we found her and she, too, is splendide
and she loves the dogs, spends time on the floor cuddling them
its nice when you find a vet that cares about the animals as much as you
she has known other chows in her practice and has never met ANY who were sweet like ours
we are lucky all around!

hi, all. went shopping yesterday for shoes for my brother's funeral, and today I plan to visit a florist. I want to get a small arrangement to put in his casket. My brother LOVED the soft drink Dr Pepper, so we will send him on his way with a 2 litre bottle of it, which he was hardly ever seen without. when is the last time you opened it up and cleaned the heat sink fins behind the 2 inch cpu fan? this is often the problem when a computer becomes noisy as the fan has to work much harder to cool the cpu chip

zooz,i am so glad the cpu nanometer arcitecture has made it so most of the chips run at room temp these days.my friends swears by water cooling.when i was running those old athalon chips my 1500 used to idle at 51c!!! but i shuddered at the thought of hoses full of cooling gel running past my 600 dollar video card so i used to take the side off the tower and put a house fan in front of it to help keep it cool

No, TO, you can't get any of those in real time---must go to the website and watch. Roku is basically for watching things streamed from Netflix especially as well as others. But you can get the entire series (West Wing, CSI Miami, Law & Order, etc.) and watch back to back if you want with no commercials.

I do love my Roku, though. You cannot get any networks per se through Roku yet....probably in the future. The advantage of Roku is that you can stream Netflix, etc. from your WiFi but see them on your big TV screen using Roku as the intermediary. Lots cheaper to pay $8 a month for Netflix and only watch what you really want than pay cable way more for channels you don't even use, in my opinion. Though I'm hoping to get DirecTV again soon. Will still keep Netflix/Roku, though, for movies and TV shows. I'm in the midst of watching a TV series from New Zealand that is great because Netflix streams it.

Good news. I was once called down...seems they transposed 2 numbers of of SS#, credited someone else and therefore I had not paid my taxes. I found the error and pointed it out to the IRS agent and that was that.
with electronic filing that is much less likely to happen. . . the computers rarely transpose numbers :-)
