oh my, your lnguage is so hard!!!
is Welsh related to any Indo-European languages?
It is the oldest of them
it's a celtic language but we have some latin words in Welsh - the Romans brought them when they came 2000 years ago
I didn't know that. Is it related to Erse?
pont - bridge, ffenestr - window
yes, related to gaelic, breton, cornish, anx
*Manx
Not that anybody speaks Cornish or Manx any more
I hve a friend here who speaks Breton
do you have Italian, too? I only have the two languages
I only have Fr and Eng
Breton and 'Brythonic' - the language which was once spoken all over Britain and which we now call Welsh, were once the same language
Manx - My husband is of Manx descent - waaay back
Hello Glant & Ruby
I can understand some Italian but can't speak it
errrarnt elbow, sorry)
Morning Lyn. My family also has Manx connections, apparently way back we were part of a family called McWha

ooh - a new Dr Who...sorry BBL
a new episode or a new doctor? I won;t watch it until there's a new Doctor LOL, hate Matt as the Doctor
no Dr Who is France; it must be untransllatable
Do you have satellite Tv Ruby?
yes, but our choices are still very limited and seemingly random
sosmeties we'll get 2 out of 3 seasons of a BBCor American program and then we'll get endless reruns of others
Ah. I watch BBC iPlayer, but I think it's restriced to the UK. I also watch LoveFilm and I think that's worldwide

the ps, dizg?
yep Melon
that was a 3-fer!
that sounds a bit like the pics he have of my sis's little dog - he was all black and most were just black blurs across the image
Ruby, your pup is adorable! do you have to blow dry her? 0:
for the moment she is covered with mud as is Ruffino from the constant rain. If it ever gets sunny, I'll comb her out and she'll be OK
wrong emoticon, meant (;
Hows hubby coping with all the mud?
she has a big personality for such a Young dog, not afraid of anything and is extremely affectionate and almost housebroken
she looks lovely
he's happy with th dog but is no help whatsoever and is always ready to be angry with me
all I do is wash towels and clean floors and outside steps
happily, the housekeeper is coming toorrow, even though it's a Holiday in France
I am worn out already; I'm too old to be a new mother!
It was easy at 20!
Nonsense, she will keep you young for ever!!
if i survive, lol
she is really a great pup; we were very Lucky to find her

Hello Annie...Happy Easter to you as well :)
friendly grid today...nbt/nbs
Yes it seems to be so far.
Except for the Js for me..only have two.
Puts out some challah, scrambled eggs and bacon to balance the nutrition on the sideboard.
Thanks Molly :)
Molly, you left out the matzah, no challah around on Passover. I wish you and yours a Happy Easter.
Which is why I'm an Irish Shiksa Annie : )
LOL and xxxx
Bad puns about Peeps...I eat them alone, because I like my peeps and quiet...they were always in our Easter baskets because they were cheep...

brb..must get coffee
aren't peeps better after about 2 wks when they get crunchy
love those Irish shiksahs!
ruby! How are you and Raffaela?
except for the mud and the continuing cold ny rai, she is a wonderful pup.
except for the mud and the continuing cold ny rai, she is a wonderful pup.
ruby, very happy for you. Burt must be delighted.
She is exceptionally cute, feisty and smart and she and Rufie take turns chasing each other. The mud, however, is driving me insane
He likes the ew puppy but is mostly uninvolved and doesn't help me t al
I feel bad, you must be working very hard to keep up with the mud. Pray for sun.
he would probably have been better off on Prozac *a(and there'd be ess mud).
all I do is wash the outside steps and endless towels
mmm...coffee
but I love this pup already
who you putting on prozac? Burt or Raffie. Hang in there.
we just had "Easter lamb" at the local Italian and it wa the best thig we've had there
Hi ruby...
I love lamb
BURT! Raffie is perfect
sorry to hear youre not getting any help
usually, I marinate a boned leg of halaal lamb and we cook it outdoors on a spit This ws Fr lamb and it was terrific
my mouth is watering
sounds yummy
more tasty than halaal
and they served it with flageolets
mine is good, too, ut thi was etter
Lets see, no new pup & clean towels or new pup & washing lots of towels...I know you would choose washing muddy towels every time, Ruby :-)
you betcha zoozz and she is adorable and v ery licky
Maybe I'm being dumb here, but wouldn't it help if you washed their paws off when they came inside?
OMG, I think the sun just came out
woohoo ruby :)
Molly, they are in and out all day because that's the o nly way I can be sure that Raffie won't "go" in the house
I would have to spend my whole day by the door
hope it stays long enough to dry things out a bit
but I think that all the rain will make the spring flowers glorious this year
husband doesn't wipe his feet, either....
Ruby, cold but beautiful sunshine here..not had that for ages..hope it comes your way soon.
yes, cold and sunny which is better than wet and cold
didn't we have these wprds yesterday?
107 and time for a lie-down in front of the fire
hello kapla, haven't seen you i a log time
(still having trouble with new eyboard)
Hi Kaplan...I think there are several that were in yesterdays as well
Another Babble adage...where there is saliva, there is also gratuities...
I've been here a bit but not chatting.

Bye for now ruby...enjoy your day :)

80 left...taking a break
morning, all! and a Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. :)
Hello, Rbud..you too :-)
*Hands Rbud a chocolate bunny*
lots of questionable words here
oooh, yummy!! ty! was just bemoaning to myself that I have no chocolate for myself today - waiting for the after Easter sales, haha!!
still working my way through to nbt - anyone have a hint for the lone E in the 4th column?
Every kid (and grown up kid) should have a chocolate bunny for Easter. I don't care what those Save The Bunny commercials say. : P
Plural of the letter before T.
well, how about that. would never have tried it without 3 S's! ty.
This my be the first year I don't have at least a bit of Easter stuff for our kids - but then they're 21 and 25. Our son's not much on sweets, and our daughter sure doesn't need any, she gets them daily herself! :\
I, on the other hand, love chocolate and deserve plenty! :D
*rains down chocolate Easter bunnies on rbud*
ty, ty!! :D
my pleasure
My kids get Easter treats no matter what age they are. When they show up for Easter, that is.
well, both of ours live here, kind of tired of them. oops! did I say that out loud, lol!!??
for example, our son has been sneakily moving a buddy in over the last couple of days, thinking we'd either not notice or not mind. wrong.
Oh no, two adult kids living at home is enough.
tired of being the home for wayward homeless folks, which we are famous for being here.
rbud, can you tell your son that you will not allow his friend to move in?
Or that he's welcome, as long as he pays rent.
Did so. "but he's got nowhere to go, it'll just be a few days..." - plus the buddy has a HUGE TV, very attractive to our son, lol
Hmm, he has a huge TV, but nowhere to go. I sense a lack of correct priorities.
Yes, I agree. I believe he's here because he could no longer pay rent out at the motel where he was living, so not much hope of that.
if the TV stays the buddy stays.
Does the buddy have a job?
don't think so, though he has been known to hold down a job for over a year recently, unlike our son. :P
Buddy 1 and Buddy 2 need to get jobs and an apartment to share.
We have Hubby's old shop outside in the yard, that's where the sneaky moving in was going on, not in our house, at least, whew.
our son commandeered that space long ago, and with spring finally coming, it's looking habitable again.
rbud, No one should be sneaking onto your property. I hope you dont mind me being forward.
without your permission, that is.
Well, if he had permission, it wouldn't be sneaking. : D
yes, quite true, Molly
Oh, I totally agree, but just try to tell son that, he's a bullheaded PITA.
I don't much care for the buddy, he's kind of a local moocher. Has been thrown out of various living arrangements for years.
rbud, then I would not allow him to live in my house or shop, it's looking for a problem
There are a lot of young people today who seem to have absolutely no motivation to be self supporting. It's sad.
the really sad part is that the old shop was supposed to be mine, sigh - to set up my woodworking and refinishing stuff. But son "failed to launch" when given a car and marching orders. Still trying to figure out how to get him out of the nest.
thing is, Hubby needs all the help he can get, and son is good with that.
Oh hell no Rbud. He gets a room in the house if you can't get him launched, but you should not have to give up "your space".
and at least the buddy is polite and not a thief, like several of son's other buddies (now in jail, thank goodness)
rbud, When are 5 were growing up, we always looked at their friends for input. If their friends were doing drugs, odds are they were too. If their friends were into sports, again...You get the idea. Tough love. Do it now or you won't want him around in your life later.
Sounds like drugs
I hear you, gramma, and believe me, it's a problem we go around about constantly.
I know it's hard but you have to let him help himself
at the moment, we're just glad the nightly noise goes on out there and not in the house, which is why we let him commandeer the building in the first place, otherwise his friends were up and down the stairs half the night.
rbud, you shouldn't have to put up with this. How old is your son?
Here's a link for you. Please watch the video "Why we wait" http://www.interventionservicesinc.com\n/
band practice, loud music, etc. Son has a nice hardworking girlfriend now, she has plans to get him out of here, I like her, lol
He needs plans. He shouldn't just follow her.
he's 21, finally can stop worrying about his underage sneaky drinking, and it's nearly stopped now since it's no longer a challenge, haha!
bbl
I just get tired of being the only one expected to deal with stuff to do with the kids, Hubby has distanced himself from most discipline years ago, after child services showed up to inform him he couldn't spank our son unless he wanted to be charged with domestic abuse. Thus began the trouble, a long sad story.
french high school
Good day to all.
ty, hursh, googled and got it (and pl)
hi, Scrabs, happy Bunny day! :)
My bunnies are quite cute today.
are they clad in Easter bonnets? haha! :D
They would never tolerate that. Haha.

That's not rude, silly worzel
it's considered rude in the UK lol
What does it mean there? Here it means to annoy/anger or to pee.
Don't let Mom fool you, she's a feisty one. : D
yes, to urinate, but it's considered one of the ruder curse words over here. You Americans have a much better attitude towards certain words in my opinion. Always loved the USA xxx

nrk, we were trying to figure out a way to parlay lamb cam into a betting pool, off track lambing - with owl :)
Oooh Mil, I'm very fond of Chitty chitty Bang bang

welki, there is a lamb now with it's mam in the pen.3 born today so far as i've seen.twins earlier
jmc wasnt he in that movie with billy crystal?
i keep turning it on right after they're put in the pen, lil - getting old
Andre the giant was Fezzig (Fessig?)
yet strangely compelling *LOL*
Princess Bride? Is that the one with Peter Falk?
did you know that the graffitti artist that designed the obama logo got his big start with graffitti that said "andre the giant has a posse"
yes, Princess Bride has Peter Falk as the grandfather
<---not allowed to talk about princesses
for anyone who loves the movie, and has not read the book, I strongly recommend the book
me too welki.they've moved the camera so we can't see so much of the enclosure, si i think they are being born or helped in the cornewrs and then put in the middle pen after
Ah yes. A delightful , feelgood movie.
the movie is the plot of the book, but there is more to the book that is highly entertaining
imust be weird as i cant stand the Princesss Bride
probably so folks (children) can't see if something goes wrong, lil - not a bad thing
there is one in every crowd ;-)
Way -hay. I feel a story coming on. (Composes self). Why are you not allowed to talk about princesses, Ru?
*hates to say it looked boring to me too
i was not aware there was a book but i should have guessed i will have to read it. . .
<-- hasn't seen it (Princess Bride)
anything but boring... lots of fun actually
but I had to get talked into watching it, I admit
i am confused. . .what is boring? the princess bride or the lamb cam?
jmc, written by William Goldman, who did many screenplays (Butch Cassidy, Misery, etc). Some were his original work, some were adapted. He writes for movies well.
ohhhh, I assumed ru meant The Princess Bride looked boring
princess bride looked really boring to me
oh welki you would love the princess bride. . . i used to show it to my 20 something guys (including former marines) and they were always doubtful but always ended up enjoying it
Yes yes yes. But WHY is Ruru banned from talking about princesses?
And Soodle. I got spanked by Mab and TO for talking about princesses.. so I don't talk about them any longer ;D
i understand ru but i think you would actually enjoy it
okay, next time ru and i go out for a matinee, we'll watch it - ok, ru?
no thanks
it may have been the ethnic spin you put on it ru. . . maybe not. . . just saying. . . .
can i get a clue for ps 8/45 please?
sheesh, all you had to do is say 'yes,' ru - not like we're planning a sunday matinee any time soon
penquis, throw the opposite of "I win" in the middle, end with plural
are there any sc words?
nice clue nrkii
<-- would like to find a movie that results in sore sides from laughing
well i know what cd i am bringing for our next meet up welki

Oh, in an ideal world, everybody who is on this evening's chog would all meet up for a 'full & frank' exchange of views. Preferably here !! I'll go to bed dreaming of such an encounter !
not sure what a full and frank is
full and frank discussion ru, as in you say whatever is on your mind

Ah...and it just happened to be Easter eh?

Heyas Tor : D
Heyas Molly ..
Are you Eastering today or not.
Hello all...WooT WooT WooT dc...and thanks for the begining clue for me!
Not as such, but I do always make a feast ..
Hi Jill. How was your Easter cottage cheese : P
Thumbs up to a feast Tor, for any occasion. What did you make?
Actually my dear molly, hate to disappoint, but I feasted today!
Oh good for you Jill! Not disappointed at all.
Okay, I know Jedi is not a word...but I had to try it..LOL
Ham, smashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. etc.
We need to come up with a name for that. You know it's not a word, but you try it anyway.
I agree....will think on that for awhile..
My first thought is attemptation.
But that is just the desire to try a word that you know is not accepted.
LOL...or fu-tile...
There is actually a real word that fits...wastry
Good one Molly....and, did you have a nice Easter btw?
<---nbt/nbs
hi all!
Hello uusue...Happy Easter to you and Frank!
thanks, Jill! Same to you!!
good evening all - hello sue and jilly
hi wv!
Hi Teach and Happy Easter to you!
BTW, it's my dad's 92nd birthday today; I called him and wished him a happy birthday - he is doing fine!
happy birthday - sues dad
Hello Everyone. Happy Easter to all. :-)
Glad to hear he's doing well, Sue. Happy Birthday to him too!
Oh. I see there's been a silence in the chog for a while....
we're taking a moment of silence
Well, ruru; I've never known to be silent for too long....
but I *am* the quiet one in my family; so I can be quiet for a minute or 2
we need to think about all those eggs, chocolate eggs, peeps, and hams that were consumed savagely today
we didn't have any of that other than deviled eggs (which are a family tradition for every holiday or family gathering)
we had roasted leg of lamb instead.
*alternate silence for lambs*
So what did you have? All of the above?
err belos I mean?
below
none of the below.. I'm having pork chops :D
<---Loves deviled eggs : D
that sounds good. Our D-I-L doesn't eat pork; now (today, after it's served) she tells us she doesn't eat lamb either. My son told her that she'd had it before here; her response was that she "thought it was beef" in the past..
DH's Aunt used to make them for all the holidays; and that grew to the point that we had them for birthdays, holidays, and any Sunday dinner (or any day of the week) that we ate together
I'm sorry but that is rude. If you are going to be a guest in someone's house for dinner, you should tell them of any dietary restrictions.
sometimes the hosts don't remember and do what they want any way
her diet seems to change every month or so, Molly. In the past year she's been vegetarian, vegan, glutin free, and now on a "Paleo diet (meats, fruits and veggies, with little or no carbs/grains/pastas); so I thought I'd chosen a "friendly " diet menu for everyone
Well in that case Nef, you should just serve what you want and give her a big ole plate of kale. : D
I'm pretty sure she has some sort of eating disorder, but it isn't anorexia or bulemia. I don't think that most people can focus so much on foods and change their diets so radically
lol.. she kind of sounds like a nutcase nef
Some people are obsessed with food and dieting. She sounds like one of them.
she is, ruru; she's bipolar + several other problems and was sexually abused as a child also
well.. tell her Lamb is Beef in New Zealand
she's just obsessed, Molly. At least the food issues *might* be a healthier outlet? (I don't know)
That's why we have our grandson so much: I try to give his a more "normal" environment
good call.. my grandmother did the same for me
I have a friend who used to be obsessed with food. Talked constantly about what she ate, what she didn't eat. Weighed herself every day. Lost sleep over gaining a few pounds. It took a lot of therapy to get her over that. Thankfully, she eats like a normal person now.
and did you turn out okay, ruru? Or maybe I shouldn't judge you by your personna here.... ;-)
...don't get me started nef :D
LOL!
Molly, I do know that there is help for eating disorders. I had a young cousin who, when I was in Nursing School, lost so much weight that she was down to about 69 lbs in 10th grade. She's healthy now and normal sized.
I think my mom was Bulimic
Did your Mom or your Dad have mental problems, ruru?
oh.. sure.. both..
A lot of obsessive behavior, compulsive behavior and addiction problems have a root cause of low self worth. And many people don't get the correct treatment for that, mental health wise.
my mom was completely nuts
is nuts.. she's still alive .. at least as far as I know
okay. You don't have to talk about it ru; I was just curious which one it was
my dad was nuts too.. anger issues, borderline personality disorder, violent...
isn't it amazing how kids survive in spite of crazy parents?
Crappy way to grow up Ru. I'm glad you survived, then thrived.
yes.. it certainly is.. kids are amazingly resilient
very true.
I've done okay in life.. it could have been better I suppose.. i'm sure a lot of my weird sick humor comes from growing up like that :D
and really; it's a good thing kids are resilient too. We'd be in tough shape as a society if that wasn't true
(blame the parents for sick humor...)
LOL!
Caroline Myss has an interesting theory she calls "woundology". Her belief is that some people choose to move beyond their wounds and others choose to carry them around for life.
oh.. I've heard about that Molly.. I bet that is true. I have some wounds that won't heal.. I'm thinking of seeing someone soon
Do they actually move beyond their wounds; or do they learn how to cope with it better than others?
They may not have healed yet, but they will. And the fact that you are thinking about seeing someone is a good sign.
I think some of my wounds have made me a stronger and kinder person though; not sure they've healed...
you are a kind and thoughtful person nef.. amazingly so
you're a caretaker type
I heard a lecture once that compared emotional wounds to physical wounds. The guy giving the lecture told a story about a man who went to the doctor with a wound that would not heal. The doctor's first question was "How much do you pick at the scab?"
maybe because I learned to do that, ru; because of some stuff in my past?
could be.. could be your nature too
LOL! Good question!
what was the second question?
Um...the second question wasn't exactly the point of the story.
damn.. thought it was going to get better. :D
My Aunt (the one who raised me) could say the meanest things to me. My hometown is a 6 1/2 hour drive from the Cities and there were many times that I cried the whole drive back here. That's just how she was to me. Another Aunt gave me the book "Irregular People" (listed in my profile) and that helped me deal with the other one and come to terms with her.
And yet I was the one called home to care for her when she was dying....
wow
did she ever say why she was so mean to you?
I think some people just have a mean nature.
She didn't like me. (And I was also her god child). I was too slow; too quiet; too -whatever.
ah.. I see.. I always wanted to ask my mom why she had kids when it is obvious to me that she hates them
she liked my siblings more than me. I think it was just a personality thing; I don't know
Nef, my Irish grandmother would say you have earned your place in Heaven five times over. : )
how many did she have, ru?
two
She had kids ...because that's what people did in the 50's...
I don't think women of our parents generation thought of having kids as a choice. It was expected of them.
yeah.. that's what i just said too molly
and my Irish Grandma used to say you'd be building your castle in Heaven too
well, it's a good thing she only had 2 then!
LOL.. yeah..
god..it's pouring here
I took a walk and got drenched
Ahh, well; I think I've learned not to treat others the way I was treated
do you need the rain there?
help with DI 6/21 (second, last one please
it's been kind of dry lately.. we've had nice clear weather.. so yes.. it is kind of needed
And that is a good thing Nef. It all comes down to how you choose to live your life. You chose well, grasshopper. : )
to say unkind things WV
that's why I asked if wound heal, Molly. :-)
it's a plural WV
sorry, wv; I don't have either (but I'm working on it now!)
thnx ruru
And that is what made me think of the lecture Nef. Whether or not wounds heal depends on how much you pick at them. Or whether you choose to live in them, or move beyond them.
yw
I'm ready to move beyond them again..
:-)
time to make dinner.. nice chatting about something real for once
bye for now, ruru. I still have 111 words left
Enjoy your dinner. And I agree, the something real chats are always the best.
I do too. But then; I do like to chat!
There goes Molly - forcing her opinions on everyone again ;^)
hi tor! How are you tonight?
Impish as ever ..
I know Tor, isn't it awful. The scathing emails will be flying.
Hello all, torgone, nef, ruru, wv...back to find some more
Hello all, torgone, nef, ruru, wv...back to find some more
Sheesh...trick trigger finger tonight.
hi Jilly
Whew...thought I might be being shunned ;)
And Happy Easter to you both, Tor and Jilly
Thank you nef, and happy easater to you and DH also!
thanks
Lots of left and right turns in this grid...
I swear there aren't any more words in this grid; but the word stats say I need to find 86 still!
so I should try more right and left turns, Jilly?
hi nef!
and Jill!
I have 69 left and have more or less given up...
More left hand turns I think...that and remembering where there are same letters...
hi sue! Happy Easter to you and Happy Birthday to your dad!
Hello again uusue! I enjoyed Franks tour of your new home!
thanks, Jill! It looks better than that already since we have a lot of the furniture unpacked and assembled
thanks, nef! I am amazed at how well he continues to do.
after his tough year last year; that is amazing
yes, he's pretty much completely recovered. He's decided not to drive out to visit me, though; now he's talking about taking the train (!)
that would be a better way for him to travel I'd think. :-)
LOL...I did think Frank was a typical guy...not thinking perhaps YOU would want him to wait until more moved into...but it really doesn't matter to those of us whom have moved frequently...
oh, I didn't mind, I just want to post an update some time soon :-)
and nef, I am also just as glad my dad decided not to drive out here; it's a little too ambitious for him now, I think
did Frank post pictures on FB?
he posted a video tour of our new house, nef
oh. :-( I can't see videos on my computer. I'll have to try something else
I need to post a picture of my DH on my page. He made our dtr take a picture of him in his new t-shirt for his FB page.
I would enjoy 'meeting' him nef!
ah well, I told my dad I'd email him some photos of the house, so I'll put those on facebook as soon as I take them :-)
His t-shirt has the Tardis and the Delauran from Back to the Future beginning to crash on it
he is very sweet, Jill, I have actually met him
he is very sweet (most of the time!) ;-)
And I am sure he is thrilled with the return of Doctor Who?
We've been Dr. Who fans for over 20 years I believe
(our whole family are Dr. Who fans; our dtr. even dressed as the Tardis for Halloween)
My oldest is a fan-atic as well.. I never quite got into it. Certainly don't need another addiction at this point, but my son keeps me updated
I have fond memories of the Tom Baker era; the newer doctors don't quite have the same effect on me :-)
There; I've posted it.
*heading to look*
Very handsome man with a nice smile!!
yep, pretty cute shirt :-)
Hello to my fellow babblers! How is everyone doing today?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! Way to go!
Hello minv..Happy Easter to you !
hi min! I am ok, Frank is not doing so well but better now than earlier in the day
Happy Easter everyone! Sorry to hear about Frank uusue2.
Happy Easter to you too Min. Did you do anything fun?
OH darn uusue...sorry to hear that; thought with the video he was fine...
I think he should be better by tomorrow, min, if not I am taking him to the doctor
ah, that was a few days ago, Jill. He's not in terrible shape, just having some annoying side effects from the chemo
Dang, remind me how far into this is he?
he started his eighth cycle last Wednesday; initial plan is 12 cycles, then another scan, then a break depending on how the scan looks
Good, on the almost done side...
yes, especially if the next scan looks clear
MollyL, I went to Vermont for Easter. I went up Friday and came back today. Back to work tomorrow. Total bummer!
Oh too bad Min. Here the schools are closed Easter Monday because so many people travel for Easter.
Sorry, I wandered over to FB for a few minutes and got distracted there.
P's Pummeled! 9 left
I hope you had a lovely visit, Min
I was surprised that the schools here operate full day on Good Friday...
Go minv!!
I did! Thank you Nef. I wish it could've been longer though
GO, Min! You can do it!

Congratulations Jillyjill on your fireworks! Hooray for you!
YAY, Jilly!!!! WTG!!!
I found out over my vacation that my school will be closing
yay Jill!
Oh, No, Min!
The school will be re-opening next year under a new name
Oh Jeeze Min, what does that mean for you job wise?
Oh no minv...oh...reread..phew!!
50 percent of the staff can stay and 50 percent have to go.
It means that I will probably have to goto another building
But you will have a job?
as long as you still have a job, min!
I'll still have a job thank goodness.I just don't know where.
Could it mean a worse commute?
Whew! That's good news.
I hope not. Her commute is long enough as it is.
how far do you travel now, Min?
Well...my bedtime...niters all!
I'll hold good thoughts that this turns into something good for you Min.
Niters, Jilly. I'm guessing that you work tomorrow? Have a good one then
Commute will still be same since I'll still be in the same school district. However,I might be in a place where I do not have my own classroom, which I do have now. That is what I will miss the most, having my own classroom.
night, Jill!
Goodbye Jillyjill! I will see you tomorrow in the log maybe.
what do you teach, min?
My work is 55 miles away from me so I travel a total of 110 miles a day. I'll still be doing the same commute next year.
I teach ESL,so I take small groups of kids into my classroom
OMG, Min! I couldn't do that!
wow, that is a long commute, min! Do you drive, or can you take public transportation?
In the other schools, the ESL teacher either pushes into the classrooms and she has to carry everything with her or they share a room with 3 or 4 other ESL and reading teachers.
I could take the train, but that is inconvenient for me. I do carpool sometimes, however, I have to drive 25 minutes to meet the person I carpool with, but it does help out some.
I would be falling asleep at the wheel probably both ways, Min. I loved/love working; but it is so exhausting that I've had trouble driving 20 minutes home.
Speaking of work, I need to go to bed since I have to be up early in morning. I am going to beg for clues for my last 7.
Do not want to give up with just 7 left so the clue begging will start.
Does anybody have a clue please for that ch 8/50 word yet
