do other animals ever come in the doggy door? I used to have a cat come in and eat the dogs' food and neither dog objected
not so far--but I got 2 other dogs too and not many other animals comes into the yard
plus we have a chainlink fence around the yard
birds sometimes walk in and once a large hawk flew in the front door, must have missed the feeder

hi Bichon--I'm just back from England. You might want to reconsier Minster Lovell--it's lovely, but the dovecoate is locked. It was still peaceful when we were there, I forgot we had to go through the churchyard but still found my way--but it wasn't as perfect as I remembered. Bourton on Water was lovely and not yet touristy crowded.

The weather was chill but lovely, and the nat Trust and many volunteers were cleaning the Uffington shile horse (prehistoric chalk carving on the hillside--goodle it!--while we were on the hill.
There's so much to see and so little time
can't type. Heligon the lost garden was beautiful, strange. in Cornwall. Cornwall may be far--better to see one area well. Don't miss Avebury--we went there three times. Ancient stones--more accessivle than Stonehenge.

we are good, kate! we're at the cancer center where Frank has started his next-to-last chemo cycle.
they give him stuff that puts him to sleep, so he is napping and I am babbling :-)
such good news sue! i hope he continues to tolerate the meds well... especially since it gives yu a bit of quality babbling time :))
when will the chemo finally be finished sue? weeks - months???
he is getting pretty worn out by the chemo and is looking forward to it ending. But really, the side effects haven't been horrible.
are you holding up okay? it must be very tiring on you too
I'm pretty stressed out but am still functioning. Will be getting some physical therapy for my neck which I hope will help my headaches.
i didn't realize you were having trouble with headaches, what happened to your neck? i hope there is a way you can get some time for yourself to "decompress" being a full time caregiver can drain you...

I injured my neck about 30 years ago and have since had 3 fusions; I tend to carry stress in my neck now, it gets knotted up pretty easily.

sometimes I get muscle cramps in my neck (which is just as much fun as it sounds like) and then a heating pad helps

i am coming out of a horrible experience of the past three months though, so i am a little leery

had a spinal cord stimulator put in in September, worked great, during a revision in February, doc put the new lead through my spinal cord.
had a very risky surgery about a month ago to remove the whole thing again. result of the first surgery is numbness from the chest down. fortunately i have some motor skill and sensitivity, so i can walk, but it has been a huge mess....

I started with 5/6 in 2001, then 6/7 in 2006 and 4/5 in 2010. Now 3/4 and T2/T3 are bulging. Don't fall out of trees.
I broke it myself by cracking my neck the first time, the 2nd time, I was sleeping and it slipped and broke

What I gathered from the Facebook post is that there were hurt feelings caused by one person's comments/attitude, frequent in the chat. I didn't get the sense that it was either 'crap' nor was it 'mud slinging.' Those people had the guts to post under their real names. That's my POV.
