We moved here over 4 years ago and still haven't painted the house like it needed THEN
and that's bingo, right column!LOL
we moved in here 22 years ago, had a friend do the entire downstairs interior with an airless sprayer, all in off-white - several rooms are still that same color, haha - high time for a change.
Oh.. you have oatmeal ceilings??LOL
22 years doesn't seem as long as it used to.... I was thinking of the oatmeal ceilings (textured) of my youth, and then realized 22 years ago is after I had children.
as a matter of fact, the (old) living room has the popcorn ceiling, I hate it! can't get the spiderwebs off it. It's getting replaced with tongue and groove wood.
Oh that will be nice!
finally 1/2 way!
we did that in the old bedroom, which is now the new living room, it looks great.

i would like everyone's opinion on something. at the moment i am on a return-to-work program, under workcover. i have been told that if i become ill/sick in anyway due to my injury, while i am at work, i am allowed to go home, on sick leave, and not workcover.
but doesn't that ean you would lose the sick leave days that are coming to y ou anyway?
when I was a teacher, we had 5 days of sick leave a year and if you didn't take them, they didn't accrue
i mean if i am in so much pain/discomfort i have to go home and take pain meds too strong to work with, i have to use my sick leave hours
exactly, ruby. it doesn't sit right with me.
Somehow that doesn't seem fair. Who made these rules?
are you in a union? It sounds like something for a union rep to sort out
brb
peach, it has come from the DON and my manager. i am going to ask the return-to-work co-ordinator tomorrow.
ruby, work-cover and union are 2 different bodies. but if i have to do so, i will go to the union.
I wasn\t keen o the teachers' union, but I ould see how it could help you in this very unfair situation.

I did it again. Bad nel!

hey ruby like a duck, calm and serene above water, paddling like fury below?
it's funny, people here keep saying that swimming is the best exercise but what if you can't swim....I'd sink like a stone in this frezing lake
Your friends will throw you a rope
ruby, my DH is the same, no matter what the temp. is, he sinks like a stone, he simply cannot float.
one can hope.
The only place I could ever swim (and not well at all) was in teh warm ocean at Miami Beach
oh, my dearest one, no need to hope, know that it is true.
lol, one day i am going to take himself to the dead sea.
I guess it's a question of bone/fat ratio.... my father was the same but my mother could float wy on top of the water. Maybe she was closer to heaven.....
that's where I would like to go
It's an awesome experience
good, will pick you up on the way through...lolol
you were there, liz?
Want to go back with my hubby
liz, you have swum in the dead sea? what was it like?
Yes but a long time ago
I'm sure it's still as salty lol
Can't swim - you just float hands and fett sticking up in the air.
my guess is nothing has changed, liz
The waters kind of oily
I would love that
And it's warm!
hmmm....question....if the water is so salty, how long can you stay in it? i wouldn't want to be pickled...
it's reputedly wonderful for eczema and psoriasis
Lol!
I'm already pickled, anyway
The mud baths there are good too.
rofl, ditto, ruby
i didn't mean that pickled, i meant as in pickled pork or corned beef....
Bbs
later liz
it's funny that with all this current trouble, I am drinking very little. The idea of alcohol makes me feel sick
bye liz

see you tomorrow, ruby
peach, how you doing, hun? can i help you?
Just plugging along, Rose. Have 37 left so I won't finish this before I go to bed. Have you finished?

{{{dianne}}} hello hun
thanks , what a weird word
okay, just checked the definition...si4 of the board where qu5 is situated...must be a chess term
Rose, how are things going?
dianne, having difficulties, in that managers will not recognise workcover claim...they say if i have trouble getting through a shift, i must use sick leave, not workcover...:(
Hello everyone
what exactly is "workcover"?
Hi Rose, that doesn't sound right - your case manager get involved surely?
hi lynxxx
Workcover - 'insurance' paid by a company to the government to cover workers who get injured on the job
hi Andree
its what we call workers compensation
Well if you were hurt/injued on the job then it seems reasonable that the workcover would apply.
i paid out many thousands over the years for my drivers and never got to claim a single cent
dianne, management are now saying if we are unable to get through a whole shift, we are to go home, using our sick leave, not work=cover payments.
hi Rose - that must be upsetting for you. (hugs) And your WC case manager says?
which from my perspective is totally wrong. i wouldn't be going off sick/sore if the injury had not happened in the first place.
liz, will hopefully talk to her tomorrow, when i am supposed to work my next shift.
Wel, let us know the outcome of your conversation. Good luck.
aww, thanx dianne. will definitely do so tomorrow night.
Keep your chin up and stand up for your rights. You def aren't a shirker
and thanx liz....
good morning, babble friends
i think it crazy that they expect you to work a full shift
hi sprite
hi Sprite
{{{{sprite}}}} xoxoxox
hi Andree :) Hiya rose *hugs*, what a nonse5 you have to battle with at work :(
andree, i'm supposed to work 10 hours, am only working 9 hours...lol
*sigh* yes i know....but i have God on my si4...;)
they are so full of it, rose. Get all the help you can get and make sure they don't bully you into doing more than you can, or in going home.
i think you should be home and not using up your sick leave either
not a lot management can do, considering my surgeon is the medical director of the facility. :)
yay for that
lol
is it all the management or just your new supervisor?
and btw, i was told on tuesday, i wasn't allowed to wear dangly earrings. only studs and hoops...lol...some of my studs are pretty flash..
hi lyn :) xxx
hi Sprite
liz, all management...but as i said i am going to check in with my return-to work officer. she is so good.
she better stand up for you. This sounds like bullying to me.
I think the new supervisor is trying to prove how 'capable' she is and the others are just too lazy to say anything
so...we are not allowed to wear our own hats, restricted on our earrings, and our shoes must not have any holes/gaps in them, like crocs, they must also have a heel and a strap to hold them in place...talk about 1984, georger orwell.
offer to show her your underwear, so she can decide whether that is up to her views?
Kevin is in! s**t!
can we see a trend here?
good grief, liz!!! really????
yeah, what lyn says... an overachiever.
wonder what she is going to say to one of our surgeons who does not wear knickers???
my bet? She won't, cause he/she is a surgeon.
Geez - Kevin or Tony - what a choice (not that personality has any bearing!)
yeah!!! and the surgeons rule because???
I am out of the loop... what's with the Kevin and the Tony thing?
i am wondering the same thing sprite
Government here Sprite...elections coming up and our current PM has just been voted out by her party
*giggle* lyn....sprite, 2 of our politicians...they are striving for prime ministership of our country...
often I wonder how it comes to be, that the future of our country will be decided by such little men...
okay, dinner ready...will bbl. {{hugs}} and {{kisses}} to all
enjoy, rose :)
Bye Rose. Taking a break myself - BBL
bye for now, lyn
o my god and i have missed the news
if it is anything like ours, it will be repeated at least 4 times next hour
i know but i will put the telly on
good idea
am loving this grid. Such great words :)
hi Sprite, late start here but so far so good
hiya dizgrannie :)
fireflies. That was one lovely grid :) Am off to hang up the laundry. Have a peaceful evening, dizgrannie (and Andree and rose and lyn), and a nice day tomorrow. *hugs*
Good day. Anyone around?
Me is here with 7 left
Wow, good for you. I need 108 and am seeing very little now.
F/Ws, had to go to Lickety's. Just remember to past tense and use gerund ending on a lot of words.
Too many repeat letters are confusing my brain--I's, E's, N's...
good morning everyone:)
Hi Crossy!
morning scwabby:)
How is life up north?
looks like we are in for an amazing day.how is your car hunt coming.we took out a brand new 2013 jeep shahara for a over night test drive yesterday and the beauty is sitting in the driveway as we speak;)))
sahara
Wowee! My nephew has a Wrangler. I can't remember if it is a Sahara.
this is a wrangler base.the trim level is the sahara edition
and omgf...
or omfg even
It's a tank.
you get used to it very very fast.we took it all up blue mountain and down every goat path i could think of
Yesterday I made my decision--time for a new car! I brought my car to the auto shop and, when I was told that the rear suspension needed to be dismantled and rebuilt, I knew it was time to ay goodbye to this car. :-(
tip start feture,auto hill decent assist,ac,sirus sat radio,cruise control,heated seats,freedom to..etc,etc
yes,you told me it is starting to become amoney pit
top
you were debating a jeep as well i remember.IF you lean that way,you better move fast.the stable of 2013,s is amost sold out and they will be taking orders for the 2014 year..at 8k more
168K miles, and I bought in 8 yrs 3 mo ago
must be nice when an entire model year sells out:)
I will get another SUbaru--probably another Forester.
my current car turned 9 years this may just past
I had hoped to pass 200K with my Subaru but our winters are brutal
Hi, crossy and Scrabbler! It's only 4 am here but am trying to get in a bit of grid play before starting work this morning...second day on new job.
Hi Mimi. Getting better at interpreting the fast-talking doc?
howdy,mimi:))
I haven't had her yet. But it's always difficult at the beginning learning a new system. By the end of yesterday I was getting the hang of it.
((crossy))
I am looking at the Subaru Legacys--compact/non-SUV--but then I would need a new kayak roof rack.
hehe,i will be able to toss my kayak right on top of the jeep:))
out the door price, with all the add ons, taxes, extended warranty and a set of winter snows on rims is 29k
The Legacys have naked roofs. Imperzas too, I think.
Wow!
for reference,my 2004 echo was 21 k out the door
*Impreza
I am hoping to spend less than 22K for a gently used SUbaru. I will shop Saturday and my local sister will come along to help. Usually my Dad did all of the research and went to all of the dealerships first, then told me my best options.
i bought my echo at a bad time however, just before the big 3 went belly up.it was not a buyers market
i want minty fresh this time.love that new car smell
I'll see what my options are.
so how used? a demo model or one 2 years old?
i have to return my demo by 9 am this morn cause even that was sold
Evening wonderful wordjunkies!
Hi, moon!
howdy moonwolf.07:15 am here and a nice day shaping up
Honestly... I cant see the clock, atm, but Im still up and it prolly counts for someone ^^
Hey, crossy, we're expecting 117 degrees Saturday and Sunday...may break the record for the dates....UGH!!
yup,it does moonwolf.for our west coasters,it is still 4 am;))
Youre in AZ, too, huh? lol
ouch mimi!!
78 and sun today for the great white north
And still no rain in sight....
Hi Moonwoof
mimi, you guys should all just bail out and let the place go to toal desert
Crossy, I would like a pre-owned vehicle with < 20-30K miles unless I can get a better deal on a new car.
total
117 degrees!
so,1-2 years old
We have 3-4 days of thunderstorms ahead.
Am just hanging on until early next year. Then hoping to move either into the mountains or to northern California where I can become a nuisance to ruru.
There is a 2012 Forester--RED!--with just under 8K miles, but manual transmission. How quickly can I learn to use that?
I was here the day it hit 122 degrees years ago...if you went outside it was actually difficult to breathe.
ruru needs a mother figure to keep an eye on him anyways
less that a month you will have it down pat scrabby
Yeah, go live near Ruru!
All these years of being in Phoenix I've constantly missed California.
most people I know who've learned a stick only took a week or two to get comfortable with it
Crossy, I want my new car on Saturday! My auto mechanic said that my rusted rear ball bearings are rather dangerous.
it is not a bad thing scrabby
aside from the heat, Im actually really enjoying phoenix
But I would need to drive home (90 minutes) from the dealership with manual transmission.
they can be indeed.ever have an entire rear end go out of a car while driving it??? it is not pretty...
good training for you scrabby
Moon, are you here visiting for a bit?
Nope! This is where Ive landed for a little while. Im still travelling a little bit for work a cpl of months a year, but we'll be in AJ for at least a cpl of yrs
Phoenix has a lot to offer in many ways. I've been here 30 years. What part of town are you living in? I'm at 7th St. and Bell Rd. in northern Phoenix.
Apache Junction
But close enuf to phoenix that I dont hate it and can get a phone signal lol
Have you gone on the Apache Trail yet?
Ive been working here a cpl of months a year for the last 18, or so, but we've moved here from MN for a bit
yup. and peralta and all thru the superstitions. I was a big hiker for a while
I was wondering if AJ stood for Apache Junction. I live in Phoenix as well, all my life.
hiya!
Hey :)
It's nice out there. My son and his family live in Mesa. When I first moved here I was located in Tempe. For 17 years lived next door to Cave Creek/Carefree.
Three Phoenicians here at once!
Ive traveled most of my life, for the most part. So this is an excellent change
lol nice! Ms Scrabbler!
Yep, Scrabbler...three of us at the same time...what are the odds against that?
A bit of trivia....there are more boats per capita and more golf courses in Arizona than anywhere else in the U.S.
Weird huh?
On my profile it says I'm from "tierra del calor" which means 'land of heat' in Spanish.
And we have more pools than anywhere in the US.
People are always surprised about the boats but they forget we have lots of lakes, especially heading north.
Boats in Phoenix? Aren't you in the desert?
True
Very much desert, yup
But with what mimi said, plus the snow birds, etc, the boats add up.
List of lakes in AZ: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_l\nakes_in_Arizona
Can you believe it's going up to 117 this weekend? I just wish we'd see some real monsoon activity soon. I so much miss thunderstorms. Can't even remember the last time we had rain.
I even know people who own boats here, but only use them in other states.
We had more rain in the first 2 wks of June than we usually get in an entire June.
the last time we had rain out here (tho thats a bit different than phoenix) was only a month or so ago
But it was early morning and brief. Definately not monsoony
I'm looking forward to the monsoons as well. Make for gorgeous skies.
You always get more rain there than I do here, moon. Early next year I'm planning to move either to northern CA or up into the mountains on the Mogollon Rim....will see how bad real estate prices are in CA....already know it's much higher there.
It is, yea. But still. If its where you want... That may well be worth it. The mountains there are gorgeous too
I finally passed halfway, just in time to get ready for work. Bye, kids. Enjoy the day.
Bye Scrabbler :)
hagd scrabbler!
Bye, Scrabbler!

What part of town do you live in boatierra?

now that Ive looked there's no h in any of the g words
then you're missing the medieval civet and the alt spelling of a medicinal root

guess i need the medieval civet (whatever that is)
and i will be missing them for quite a while. happy babbling, all
well... when I typoed the ge5/14 that was kinda the same in my head lol

the best clue I can think of for the civet is to make one ge 5/14 diminuative

okie dokie! never thought of that!
I'm pleased that DOMA is unconstitutional and the CA Prop 8 case has been voided and remanded with insturtions that no standing. It's been a verklempt kind of morning.
ty, kje and moonwoof
I wouldn't have either without the clue!
I was pleased to hear that too, DC
yep, dc... not pleased with many of SCOTUS decsions this week, but glad to see DOMA overturned... wasn't sure it would happen!
I'm disappointed that it only applies to California!
agreed. About both DOMA and some of the other moronic choices, this week.
With the current court, that's rather the best i was hoping for at this time. Lack of DOMA will make the state laws much more easily challengable.
also cool what happened in Austin last night, though suspect that will not be the end of that bill
So *far* beth. It always has to start somewhere
Fully agreed, kje. I got little sleep due to following that last night.
Lots of tough women hanging in to the very end!
In Texas, I mean
besides the 3 royal qu's... any clues?

wow.
in case anyone has not seen the news, both the US supreme court rulings on gay marriage were pretty definitive. DOMA is overturned, and the opponents of same-sex marriage do not have standing to appeal the overturn of the ban on prop 8 by the lower court.
tadone!! finito!! challenging grid for me today.
kennedy wrote the decision re: DOMA.
i'm back. had to go read about DOMA and Texas. NC has backed off on clean water requirements from Lake Joran, where my drinking water comes from. more stupidity.
so sorry to hear that mixi!
They are also setting rules for tracking which is still illegal. The coal companies own the southern bit of this county too.
ding dong, the DOMA witch is dead!
i have a friend in NC and from what i hear from him you guys have been having to deal with a lot of stupidity lately there. he's been arrested in the protests.
(i bask in the vicarious glory of having a friend arrested for protesting)
speaking of the wizard of oz, am i the only one who looks at the edward snowden thing and feels like dorothy watching toto leave the witch's castle, going, "he got away! he got away!" (ok yes, it may not be over yet)
sea levels can only rise so much with out the approval of the legislature. after that what can you expect???
*hugs mixi in sympathy*
So far, he's gotten away, Hurshy. I hope he makes it to Ecuador.
i heard he was also thinking about iceland. if i had to be exiled, i think i could go for iceland. my grandparents visited there and said good things.
def iceland over ecuador
Obviously, he doesn't want to go anywhere that has an extradition agreement with the U.S.
right but i'm assuming if the news mentioned iceland as a possibility that means they don't
I'm near chapel hill with a high percentage of PhD.'s, ...and some sanity.
ooh i found a 9, de9
clue hursh?
I should probably get more involved with politics. ugh!
Ha! I just found it too.
pl of de8. i appoint you to be my proxy, you are my de8
ty!
Im with you, Hursh--but look at the court and the voting law! Roe vs Wade can go down next---
the voting law *groan*
Cheaper cost of living in Ecuador. I'm assuming, as well as revoking his passport, his accounts have been frozen.
did you see the daily show thing on banking in canada vs the US the other day? i said to my husband, you are so looking at jobs in canada.
that was hilarious, hursh
No, missed that report.
DOMA should have been overturned and CLinton should have never signed it
Big Brother is with us in force. Can the Guardian be silenced?
agreed ruru
I agree with Round Barn on Roe Vs Wade too .. its on thin ice with the republican congress
people were sold on "we need less government" and less socialism. They are living on social security and don't realize it will impact them!

I throw myself on the mercy of the court - with a dozen brownies.
Brownie bribes will get you everywhere in this joint.
I plead ignorance of the root.

have fun dc and tc :)
17 left - time for a break - taking grandson out to dinner - he leaves tomorrow to go to London to visit his dad for the rest of the summer
badge showing rank would have been better, ain't hindsight wonderful
yes joso, but any clue is better than none :)
it's different here as i've seen people write en6/7 as officers in the army here but in the uk, it is a flag on a naval ship
so it does sometimes get confusing with the different meanings over the pond for you and us
But don't you Brits and Canadians spell things the same way. (My husband used to say Canada was a beard of England)
en6/7 is also what most ships flags are named too
no, i think the Canadians spell more like the Americans.they say alot of your words. i think they are more like you than us
I need 2nd se7/36 pls. what that one clued?
molly, you both tend to have alot of food the same and other things but they are still their own country(i don't want to fall out with any Canadians) :)
Oh I don't know about that L. Canadians use a lot of British spellings and phrases.
peri, gerund ending on the se4/4
nm
ty lil
when i've heard them speaking on holiday, they sound more like you and the phrases, but i must admit i haven't seen alot of their spellings.but saying that, alot of our ex-servicemen moved out with their families after the war, plus alot who had met canadian women during.my mam was on a ship to canada but it was one that got blown up, luckily enough, my nan took her off before it sailed and said if we're going to die, we'll die together
As an east Canuck, I use the US dictionary on my computer.
no need to thank me peri, you'd already found it...i must remember to count to 20 before clueing you..lol :)
last te7/36 pls. I do not see it on morewords
lilli that is an awesome story about your nan.
te7, gerund ending of te510
Hi everyone just starting and glad to see you are aboard the good ship lollypop.
ty I keep forgetting that gerund
fw, bye for now
hi cath, yes it is and luckily enough my nan did as the german's still bombed it even though it had wounded soldiers and children on it with a big red cross on the top.hundreds of children drowned because of it.my mam and nan then had to deal with alot of bonms dropping but my nan is 96 and my mam is 72 now:)
Yay!Wtg peri!! bye and tc
hi ((gmere))
Hi lilliann. Quite a story of survival and carrying on in spite of mean people.
well, it was a story like that all over Europe gmere.my nan and her family lived in south London and got bombed regularly so they were use to their Anderson shelter, but quite often they'd just shelter under the stairs.my mam never knew her dad until she was 4, and that was after the war
Glad we are all here now.
it was a very tough time for all the countries involved and families of all servicemen/woman,doctors,nurses etc, they gave us the lives we have today and i know that i am very grateful for what they all sacrificed for us, it's a shame that a lot of the young peopl today don't feel that
There was a news woman on tv last evening who did not know what a "stove pipe hat" was.
lol, only takes a tiny bit of imagination, wouldn't you think
hi everyone, just in for last few words
top hat gmere
hi flosey
I think the idea of "stove pipe" had her stumped.
Yes lilliann. But where was she during the studies of Abraham Lincoln?
true gmere, but with the movie out now too
hello hello again
it's more a chimney hat, i think isn't it, as in menaing?
hi annie:)
We all have gaps in knowledge but that is so much a shared culture/time piece.
that was very interesting, lill
well, i must admit i guessed at top hat, i wouldn't know'stove hat' as we don't learn about Abraham Lincoln here
The old stoves had a large black pipe from the top to the ceiling outlets.
our old stoves did
clues 4 the qu10 and the 9s please
hi all!
I remember those old stoves gmere, had one in the kitchen - mother did all cooking/baking on it, and the pipe went up through the ceiling
next to the qu5 and plural, cool
Hi uu from the Land of Lincoln.
hi gmere!
qu10, our majesty and there are 4 of them on a square
fw and bfn until flip

nm, added it twice :-)

FW, any like a clue before I leave?
stats for the central n, and the 2-word e below and to the left of it?
Yay!!wtg Annie!!:)
and yay annie!
ne 4/4
ed 4/9
ed 4/7
thanks, got the e, still looking for the n
what you fish with sue
hair ****
I have an ne4/4 ending with a double consonant that looks like it fits those definitions but it doesn't come from that n
yes, it does, sue
that is from the centre n
the other one repeats itself,
it's from the first column n, you want
ah, got it, it's the ne6/21 past tense that comes from the center, thanks!
you can get the word we all have from all n's so it is confusing
the ne6 comes from theN below the central N
so finally I have nbs and nbt, this grid has too many n's, e's, and t's in it
it is a twisted grid.
it certainly is annie. i was sailing through it to start but definitely slowing down for my last 20
I bid you all a good night. Bye dear babblers
night, annie!
it does sue.you look at a grid and think 'yay, a decent grid that i can go through without too many problems and then they bite you in the as'!! :D
goodnight Annie, sweet dreams and take care:)
Hi folks
hi bichon :)
hi all - stats for the e below the d, please?
et6,21 and et7,32
hi nan
or ed4,7, 4,9
i can't believe he5, it has a e on the end normally,we have one but i've never heard of it the way it's spelt here but apparently it does in the dictionary here...stupid word
have ed 4-7 and 4-9, but they come from a different e
what about the et6/7 nan?
those Es are confusing - try en6.24 & 7.36 Nan
ty lynxxx

TYT for that he5 Lil
giving up on trying to do this listless!

see, our en6/7 is a flag on a ship and naval vessel
the di's are brutal
ah - got them all - whew

Gential violet used to be put on infections
Genital Violet sounds like a porn movie : D
i'm so glad you didn't mis-spell that bichon, as i would never have bought another herb again :)
molly did spell it :D
interesting concept, molly - lol
saying that, i went to the garden centre the other day and there are herbs i've never seen in recipes or seen the tv chefs use.i think now people are now
it's like a few weeks ago i bought a hanging basket full of strawberries with pi
Growing medicinal herbs has gotten to be an "in" thing.
oops, sorry, pink flowers. mine normally have white and they're not normally in a hanging basket, but all my neighbours have hanging baskets with flowers so i wanted to be different
bye all

I love bookends
i did say that people are maybe are mixing herbs together and re-pollinating
hi liz:)
How can this grid still have another 22 words?
qu 9-10 combo, please?
Because there are evil letter combinations in it
is it a compound?
i'm not with it today molly so my spelling and words suck!
Tell me about it!
yes nan
qu9...HRH + not front or back
Royalty and a square has 4 of these
ty - another one I've never heard of
i'll just let molly clue, she's better at it and i don't even know what planet i'm on at the moment and that is without a drink!! ;(

Chess terms elude me too

Ds done and dusted!
Working my way through the list now!
Hm - what's wrong with "enth" - to the enth degree???
enth degree??
Used it when teaching.
Non specific term for a fraction.
i know what you mean , it is te5
Have that!
Weird en 4 - just found it.
he 5 pls
i was never good with fractions or maths actually, gladly the bairn is doing really well, she definitely doesn't take after me in that subject :)
I'm glad I only taught primary maths - some things - like ratio - I wasn't that far ahead of the kids I taught!!!!
that is a silly word, as in he5 what we have instead of walls
Teaching maths actually helped me understand it much better.
the shrub bushy thing
Duh! Of course!
i've never heard of it that way though
But a silly word, as you said!
Must've tried the e ending on that a number of times!
And then there were the s's and the t's!!!! Another 13 of them!
lol for the ratio, i never understood that either, in fact i didn't understand alot in maths. i could do it in my head and then one day i got all my answers wrong in primary and i got upset and never could do it after that. i could do it ion my head but not write all the workings out on paper
let m eknow what you need as molly has desserted us!! :D
That's the daft thing - the requirement to show your working out!
Just looking.
i can understand when you get to high school but not in primary
Not helped by SATS
se 6 / 7 before the word meaning dispatch
definitely not.my daughter didn't do well in her sat at the end of primary but in all school work she's spot on, but saying that in the last 2 years since she went up to high school, she seems to be doing really well in the end of year tests and all year round school work
That's great. Bet she's looking forward to the holidays though. Even though I know she likes school.
se4,6,7 sounds like our clothes 8,10,12 etc
I have the se 4 - and I know it must extend from that but just not seeing it yet!
se5 and not out
and se6 gerund ending
Ok just found it. Thanks. Found the se 7 first!
And then there was the next gerund I'd missed!
sorry, i meant se4 and not out
Ok now for si 6 /7 pls - before the ring.

When's the final?
I'm working on a master's in English. This course is Linguistic.
Linguistics, that is.
I'm taking the final sometime tomorrow.
Never liked linguistics. More into the literature!
Agreed, Liz!
Good luck - but I agree wtih lilli that a break is necessary!
is that what you have now in your profile jellen?
I think it was because of the linguistics aspect that I didn't do English at uni!
Yes, lil

Sorry, but I found it.
I'm sure it's been troubling times Phand. Hopefully things get better from here. I'm glad the worrying part is over.
