Howdy stid -- all settled in?
pretty much. ready to pack up tomorrow and leave Friday. Funerals suck.
I have one to go to on Saturday -- a dear bridge friend.
I am so sorry jill! did you know about it when we were there?
Had just found out on that day that it was imminent, stid.
oh jill, I wish I had known. I am so sorry.
Here I am.. late as usual! :-)
Hi m9
hello ladies I am late again

Hi bugs -- did you get the acorns?

Hi! I'm watching the first Wild Kratts episode. Gage wanted me to.LOL
oh, the things we do for our kids! :-D
not going to play, not going to start, not not not *averts eyes from grid*
hey stid. I am suprised to see you still up. Is your hip okay?
bugs, how is mr bugs? I was sorry we couldn't stay and visit longer on Monday.
Woah.. croc babies become girls or boys depending on the temperature of their nest.
My hip is good. Tom fixed it last night when I got here and this morning, and it's good again. Having a decent mattress (finally) is making a huge difference
he is fine. He was gelcoat painting on fibreglass and it turned out well for him so he is happy
Oh stid.. I'm SO glad you got a good mattress!
I hope you didn't have too much clean-up to do after our visit...
nice! fiberglass can be SO difficult to get right.
As I recall it tends to either set up WAY too fast or it sticks and bags and sags in strange ways.
Good to hear, bugs -- and glad your hip is fixed, stid. Was it okay whenyou were here? It seemed to be.
nope, I just got to eat some tofu desserts!
It was fine when I was at your place, jill. :-)
Even our cross country expedition didn't bother me.
LOL those are really nice, aren't they? I was a bit disappointed, I have never seen them around here!
we did a lot of walking and climbing in and out of cars before it slipped on her again jill
I thought they were new to you last year.
I
Yes, they were new, and I was so excited to find them again. LOL so now I have to come back sooner...
I will have to bring a case when I come to your place
cross country, rofl! (We walked through my "woods" to the next door neighbour's).
oh and bugs, I met a wonderful young man in Duncan, the "totem pole tour guide" for the day. He knew some Cowichan. Their word for frog is clearly from the same origin as the Lushootseed! So I wondered what the Cowichan word for salmon (generic) would be, but he couldn't remember, and then I couldn't even remember the one I know. I remembered it this evening though. "suladhw" -- it's a swimming sound.
stats please for bottom E??
don't forget Chummis
stid and bugs -- did you see the video about Cowichan I sent you?
and waq'waq' (the q' is a clicking sound and the a is more like a schwa) is Lushootseed but s'wuckus (spelling is off) is the Cowichan. so close.
Chummis?

lol, sure, blame it on me ;)
today is my annapooh (pug)'s birthday and she must know it! She is full of it this morning. Beulah(the great dane) and her are playing chase here in the house! sounds like a heard of horses in here--lol
awwww pug that sounds so sweet!
that's the worst \i've ever done. So sorry
I know they give you a lot of joy, pug.
*giggles* Don't worry, ruby, it was funny. Made ma laugh!
hiya peach :)
Hi there, sprite. Things are better for you now.
If it made you laugh, then it's not so bad, but \I'm sure I'll be roundly criticized....lol
yes they do--Ive had some great animals in my life. They are like my kids--lol And if Gradyn's mother dosent show up for her week end (which she hasent been) Hes coming here for the week end
sure are, peach!
that would be great, pug.
no criticizing from me! I like the free words--lol
we certinly go through many crises together in this group!
lol ruby, laughing is the best. Let them criticize... they aren't perfect either ;)
Sprite is right, Ruby. We all love each other and the other stuff doesn't matter.
Babble friends makes you feel you are never alone in anything! Which I find so great
I am so relieved about Rob, Sprite, that he is home and functioning and that his "talk" with Tim turned the tide
I am so glad my friend told me about BABBLE. I enjoy every minute that I am unable to go to sleep. LOL
babble has a really strong community. Can't express how much your support has helped me in the last couple of weeks.
me too, ruby!
peach, I am glad she told you too :)
Me too!
I just happen upon this site while searching for word games! But this site is so much more then a game!
babble has grown into a wonderful community over the years.
I don't even remember how I got in here but it must have been an angel.....
It truly is, pug. It means so much to know that we have friends available 24/7.
Just doing a fly by hello as going to parents (which i do not mind) just wanted to give a hug to my fav babblers ((Sprite)) ((Peach)) ((Puglet)) ((Rose)) ((Ruby))..That was not in any particular orser...bye for now Babble friends.
I was just thinking along the same line Ruby! God must lead us here--lol
{{zzoozz}}
bye zooz, have a grand time with your parents! *hugs*
Hi Zoom--hope you have a great time with the family
Be safe, zooz.
Will do, Peach..thanks, Sprite & Puglet....*poof*
Yes, Pug, there are no "accidents". We are supposed to know each other.....think back over time and you will be able to know why things worked the way they did.
I agree, Peach, wholeheartedly
someone always has something going on and makes your own troubles seem small and gives you gusto to go on yourself(if this makes sense)
me too
makes much sense pug
makes perfect sense, and I agree
It does make sense, indeed, Pug.
hmz, for a big grid I find the first half to go decidedly slow.
half, yay, and now, off to lunch
*woof* and puppy hugs
enjoy, ruby
It really isn't the friendliest grid ever.
good job Ruby--have a wonderful lunch and day
lots of big words and my eyes are not too good on zigzagging this early in the morn--lol
glad it isn't just me :)
I think I'd better head for my pillows.....not able to focus my eyes very well now.....have been at this four and one half hours....still need 107.
I usually have trouble spotting the biggies. Seems my mind is not wired that way, lol.
I hope you can sleep, peach, and I wish you wonderful dreams.
sleep well peach --good night hope to see you soon
Thank you, sprite. Y'all have a wonderful day/night and since zooz is traveling....I always ask for the "Light" to surround him and get him safely there and back.
from your mouth to God's ear, peach!
halfway. Nothing over 7. Still tiles without a single word. Challenging grid :)
its kinda slow for me too--rose clued the 10 but I didnt get it
I think she said ca+number+ zodic
ah, found it. Probably it was ca + number + first sign of the zodiac?
thanks Sprite got it too
thank you! You made me find it.
guess the thanks really goes to our Rose
hehehe ok... thanks rose!
I havent seen moonwoof on for a few days--Hope all is well with him

Hi all. LOL.. was wondering how folks didn't catch that when she was talking about wearing white slips,LOL
hiya m9! Well, talk is cheap, grin.
Ha
Hi M9--I didnt want to step on anyones toes on that subject
My son wanted me to watch a show today.. and it was about aardvarks!
lol
lol! Nice coincidence!
They're kind of cute!
yeah, I like them too. Funny creatures.
I would like to buy a anteater--my ground is full of them due to the woods arround me
lol... we have this little poem in dutch, that translates roughly as: God created as exemplary animal the hardworking ant. His next creation was even better: the ant-eater.
Nice. we get ants around here.
in the kitchen
hehe I like that
every planter I put out the ants seems to think Ive put them their for their nesting.
I seen on tv or read some where that they dont like the spice cinn. And I powdered two that had the ants and I havent seen any in them since I did. So maybe Ive ran into something that really works
that would be nice and not toxic.
oh nice

i have to be drugged and have a local.crossy does not do well on full sedation
Hi Annie!
Well, he just went back so I figure it will be at least an hour.
well,good time for babbling;)
As my dentist says, you really want to be knocked out when they pull wisdom teeth. Sometimes they have to use hammers to break them, in order to get them out. : O
I had full sedation when I had my wisdom teeth removed, and I was only 21 at the time
Exactly :-)
I should have had sedation cuz they had to cut and chisel them out
my main reason was I didn't want to have to hold my mouth open that long. lol
Mine too, took 2 hours and I was awake the whole time.
Not something you want to hear. You don't have to hold your mouth open that long. They put the rubber stopper in whether they knock you out or not.
Well, he will be sore for a while but I think he will be fine.
I have a great oral surgeon. I wasn't sore after he pulled mine.
Wow, I hope this one is that good!
My guy is a Prince among men. He calls you the next day to see how you're doing.
The tooth is sideways though, so some soreness is probably inevitable.
Mornin. It's freezin' up here.
Hi bichon!
It is 63 and absolutely gorgeous here.
Hope Frank got through his extraction okay
did it snow bichon? ;)
We have light rain which makes it feel even cooler. No snow, alas
Just started, bichon

It's only 59 here. I was out walking when it sttarted raining and I actually got a chill
Wow Bich, my friend in New London said it's 64 there. That's freezing?

Bummer, bichon :-)

We woke up at 4:20 to the sound of the gusting wind slamming a door shut

Nancy, they are Southern delights...for some anyway.
yes peach I do
Well, money makes the world go around as they say so that's good Mimi :) i'm wishing the next 6 weeks go by very quickly as it is school holidays!! :)
I just got them, thanks peach for the help
OK, Nancy, use that ch4 and add clothes lin leave out the e
Peach, i have the ch4, but i don't understand the Southern delights, obviously an American thing?
OK, good, Nancy.
they may be southern but certainly not a delight as far as I am concerned
ch4 + ***en sheets and plural
it's pig intestines....:o\
lilliann, look down at 7:26.
have it, ty Peach
Yes, I think them disgusting, but the locals have a Holiday for them.....YUCK.
Ty Molly
Good, lilliann.
MMM, i want some :)
well, it'll be like Black pudding, but made with the pigs blood :)
There are many disgusting (in my opinion) things people are willing to eat but I always wonder why.....nope, none of that one for me, lil.
in Canada it's "boudin"....my parents used to eat it....
Are they stuffed with something?
My ex used to have a saying that made me absolutely CRAZY but I would agree with his philosophy here....he said "There are enough things I like already, why should I try something new?" Literally made me want to put my fingernails through the wall.
I hate black pudding, i was just joking, neither appeal to me! My husband loves black pudding, but doesn't eat it anymore as i won't let him :)
Yes, an "American" thing. Thank God we don't have a dish named spotted dick. : P
*Bill Cosby is upset now*
I think we should all try something new, otherwise how do we know whether we like it or not?
I had GREAT parents but they used to eat all kinds of awful things..somewhat lowered my opinion of them as far as they "tastefulness" was concerned.
(((ruru)))
Aren't you glad he's your ex? I am so glad mine is my ex.
I will make room for Bill in The Cranky Irish room,.
no kidding Molly
hi mimi
Spotted dick with homemade custard is lovely, but i don't eat it now.But as i always say, don't knock it before you try it!!
spotted dick would be popular in some places
Molly, what in the world is the spotted thing?
Yes, truly, lill...SO glad. But we're closer now than when we were married...divorced agrees with us!
My family ate "fekilachs". They were chicken feet boiled and chilled in the fridge. When it was served it had aspic running down them
ugh
ewww....
Imagines all these chickens on little crutches
Triple ugh.
I always wonder what makes someone think about eating something like that the first time??? Mental illness, methinks.
Ruru, how are you?
really sickening. And they ate it after fasting for Yom Kippur
oh ug
Can you imagine not having anything in your mouth for 24 hours and to be happy eating that
Spotted dick which should never have been named that, is a suet pudding with currants and it is rolled and great with proper homemade custard
What made people think about eating and scrambling those white things that fall out of a chicken's ass?
or eating a lobster for the first time...
do you suck the pudding or eat it with a spoon :D
my grandmother made chicken soup with the head in the soup/ I did not like looking in the pot and seeing it look back at me.
LOLOLOLOLO, Molly.
Ew! Ew! Chicken head soup.
'evening, folks - gustatory delights!
I loved the little eggs in the soup
white thing that fall out of a chicken's ass. Molly, what are they
pen, I love lobster but I can't eat it if I see it in a tank in the restaurant.
My kids don't even like simple things...two hate tomatoes, one hates mushrooms...cooking for them was a "treat."
Hi, welki!
I'm the same way, peach. Love lobster but could never kill one myself or even see it killed...wuss.
Mimi, I'll side with the one who doesn't eat mushrooms
<loves mushrooms
"Scramble" was a big clue in my previous comment
I have a friend who went vegan. I can understand being vegetarian but I'd rather DIE than give up cheese!
I will not eat fungus
My SIL cooks a pigs head for tamales.
oh
lots of things that we find unpalatable were prepared because there was a need to use every part, nothing went to waste (like fekilachs and gribenes)
Vegan is a no go for me too. Love milk an eggs too much
i don't think i'd want to see a chicken's head in a soup but i've had rabbit stew in France and everyhting was cooked in it and when i was asked for seconds, the head was on the spoon...i'm glad i ate before i saw that :)
i ate duck feet while in China...a bit chewy....;o)
I think vegan is pushing it too far
I know that is true, welki, but most of us don't need to do that now and people still eat them...hey, if that's what floats your boat...
did they serve the duck's feet with quackers
I've had cows hooves in Jamaica
reminds me of a guy who was served tongue - 'hell no, i ain't eatin' nothin' that comes out of a cow's mouth - gimme a couple of scrambled eggs"
we eat tongue here. the bairn loves it
LOL, welki!
<---can't eat tongue
Good one, welki.
Years ago I went to a huge buffet in Tehran. I did not recognize a single item.
i like it, too :)
I love tongue!
Much as it does not appeal to me, I would go vegan before eating tongues, eyes and feet.
maybe that's why the bairn gives you soo much lip Lillian
You are braver than I, lawyer.
i have eaten ground hog,gopher,snake,bear,geese,ducks,ratt\nle snake,oken,moose,deer,rabbit,porcupine\n..etcetc
Ouch, ruru.
if you grew up with it, it's easy to like
Not to mention testicles.
Well....we love you anyway, crossy....
I once got tricked into eating Rocky Mountain oysters
CROSSY, you've done it again!! :D
bear is nasty btw
mmmmm ... rocky mountain oysters. "let this be a lesson to you," i said to him
yup..shut up or i will eat yer nuts
Did you know that eating eyeball is very nutritious
oken??
And, uh, he is still with you?
UGH
It's my dinner time and I'm getting totally grossed out...think I'll depart for tonight. Hugs all around.
Eyeball of what, bichon?
tc..mimi:)
Is it Bichon. Have you had lambs eye balls?
sheep
Crosshair blew the chat!
In Saudi Arabia, the guest gets the sheep eyes
LOL.. I"m not eating tonight either
eye of newt :)
there are people, greeks i think who eat chilled monkey brains
BTW, crossy, sent you another em after receiving yours. Poof.
OHHHHH uuuuuughh
NIght Mimi, lovely seeing you as usual. Enjoy your food and tc hin :D
Aw, I do love mutton bar-b-q, but I don't think I could eat an eyeball.
my cousin's husband ordered calf brains when i was with him in Montreal one time....i draw the line at organs...
*googling chilled monkey brains*
gives a whole new meaning to "we'll keep an eye out for you"
Oh, my, crossy, really?
yup..really
I don't think it is the Greeks crossy as i've been there loads of times and never seen that on the menu
*barfs in PB corner*
I need to use one of those, ruru.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monkey_br\nains_(cuisine)
oops,sorry
No, I'm kidding. But I need to do a few things....bbl.
It's China and Indonesia that eat monkey brains
anyone read 'the jungle' by upton sinclair when they were young? you'd never eat bologna again
my mistake
(or anything that passed through a meatpacking plant)
i have eaten things that would make a billy goat puke..does not bother me
^5 crossy. (and porcupine is nasty)
it is,and it can be eaten raw in perfect safety
At the end of the day, what ever Country and whatever the animal that is killed, everything is used one way or another
*note to self.. send Crossie a bottle of "Road Kill Red" wine
right, lilliann - in my mind, that's the way it should be. no waste. not saying that i'll be eating chicken feet anytime soon, but if i had to, i would
porcupine is considered a good survival food in that it does not have to be cooked to be eaten
i had a friend who was a reporter in Vietnam back in the day . . . he was horrified when he was invited out to dinner and a live monkey had the top of his head removed so the guests could eat live brains . . . aaaggghhh!!!
if someone puts something infront of me to eat, i'll try it, i might prefer them to not tell me what i'm eating but i will still try it.
ewww....
i've also had (four footed) beaver (ugh) - and butchered a buffalo (that was delicious, but caused one of my kids to turn to vegetarianism *lol*)
Where there is a quill there is a way huh Crossy?
they probably taste the same as cow hooves, sdaying that, cow hooves are rock hard..
indeed,ruru
if you're a stickler for survival food
I would puke on the spot une
when surviving,yes,i am
OMG, that is so bad Une, that poor monkey
me too ru!!
what is nasty is raw invertabrates..slimy
he had it better than Justin Bieber's monkey though :D
aaawwww
au contraire - i love oysters and clams on the half shell
beiber has a monkey??
I think I'm going vegetarian after tonight's discussion
just have to have the right type and served correctly
man this is a tough grid
I love Snails, MUssels,Cockles and Winkles
fix yourself up some okra and eggplant - maybe some durian?
i like all my seafood cooked....but my brothers like raw oysters....
he must just be keeping the monkey around for a quick snack;))
love mussels, but not raw
<-- would do raw bar with pen's brothers
une loves spanish muscles the best
<---Does not eat raw meat or seafood
no no - don't think you should eat raw mussels. i may be wrong, but i've never seen them served or run across a recipe for raw ones
sigh . . . indeed, ru
I don't like Crab, but saying that, i was 15 the last time i had it and it was in France and it was really salty so i should try it again now
especially lathered in oil huh une? :D
*nudges crossy and ru* we should get lillian some beautiful dungeness crab
crab . . . mmmmm
You can never eat Mussels raw otherwise you'll have food poisioning
I would venture a guess you don't get decent crab in the UK.
i tried raw clams in France once
i tried raw clams in France once
or even some blue claws from down around molly's way YUM!
you can't eat raw mussels unless you're a starfish
Maryland steamed crabs!
steamed mussels in white wine and garlic in the Loire Valley with a local vin blanc . . . heaven
now we're cooking!
I do mussels with white wine, butter, garlic and saffron
yum
yummm...
it's been years since i've had saffron in the pantry
give me a tablefull of alaskan king crab and a pail of burbling garlic butter and i am happy
ohhh, now you've reminded me of my risotto *wipes a tear*
It's been years since I could afford saffron.
i have some mussels in my fridge with garlic butter, they are freezed packed and are treally tasty when cooked
yikes -- gotta run pick up donated bread -- back in a bit *poof*
my favorite is steamed clams....simply with melted butter...
No onion with them Ru? i've never had saffron with them
don't loaf around une
risotto= mushy rice for crossy:((
probably 20 bucks a gram - but that would last a while
Oooo, now I want a fried clam roll.
I've never had clams Pen, apparently we get lovely razor clams here, but i've never had them
now i want crab cakes!
screw it .. I"m listing
steams little necks or real steamers? aka piss clams :)
I agree about the mushy rice. Don't get the appeal of that stuff.
I don't like lobster though
nor do i,molly
but a good risotto isn't mushy - the rice has texture and is lightly sauced
i have lobster fairly often in the summer....cheap enough here....
L, you have not had proper Maine lobster. If you did, you would change your tune.
*on her way to pen's - for raw bar with her brothers and lobster with her*
i had lobster in Europe once....not at all the same....
Mmm, i still don't think i'd like it Molly, but i would try it
Apparently, the seafood over there is not so great.
i give up on this grid - it's become a grind. g'night folks
It's very expensive here Pen
some fish is ok....locally caught...
lobster here is now $4/lb. at the dock....
Night Welki, sweet dreams and tc:)
g'nite welki...
Pen, I would be down at the dock. laying down all the money I didn't spend on saffron and froo-froo stuff.
lol....
had a lobster roll last night....with fries and a can of soda for $14....it was good!
I bought the bairn some River Cobbler yesterday, i've never heard of it, so i hope she likes it, but she loves any type of fish whereas i don't like fishy fish
We get some lovely seafood here molly, fresh is always better but can be very expensive
My next door neighbour goes fishing and gets fresh salmon, but i can't stand it so he gives it to our other neighbours now.i must ask him for some for the bairn, but i want it filleted.the last time he gave us some we had a whole fish, and i haven't a clue how to fillet a fish and i don't want to look at the eyes and chop it's head off. that's what fishmongers are for, but sadly we don't have so many now as supermarkets are taking over
i have eaten lake salmon that i caught, but i don't filet them myself....bro does...
My mom & I took a road trip along the East Coast, many, many years ago - delicious lobster rolls everywhere, state after state, only $1 each - we feasted daily!

someone help on the an 8/40?
ruru, here's a recycled clue:
against + pirate "word" + not out, then plural
an8, is against and tam*** monkey
thank you both.. whew
my clue was mis-spelt :0
Hi crayola
but more succinct, lilli!
You have 3 very beautiful grand bairns
aye, that I do. I'm very fortunate. Thank you.
that's to Crayola :)
aye..lol
ca 6/21 # 2 please
I'm watching a film with italian sub titles, so it's hard to babble at the same time :)
Sorry, Ru, i don't have it but will look
i only have the misspelled lugging around word ca6/21
I have that one.. there's another
oh, there's one that's a nice ca**** salad
ca 4/5 + symbol for sodium
then plural
Ty crayola
yw
2nd ca6 is auto + men wear neckt***
Ty Molly
the salad I didn't have.. but what about the ca 7 after the mens wear?
I'm getting sidetracked with this film
ca + lovely meter maid, plural
thank you Paul McCartney
... and Molly :D
need a break.. this is a toughy
L, no wonder you can't get grids finished. You chat, look for words and watch movies all at the same time.
i have 36 left and I have pretty much given up on this one...
There are a lot of weird ass words in it.
i am curious, though about what the last tz word is....can someone clue it?
I'm a woman so i can multi task :)
Ends with the last three of where you wear a bracelet.
ts is the same as the ts4
ty, molly....thought i had tried that, but apparently not...
34 here Pen
Anyone can multi-task. The question is, can you do all those things well?
no one really multi-tasks...those who appear to are people who can easily shift attention back and forth between tasks....they can't really attend to more than one thing at a time...
The film i'm watching is in Italian?english subtitles about a man who sheilds his son from the terrors of a na4 camp
I agree Pen. Several things get sort of done.
exactly....people with attention disorders often have trouble shifting attention when it's necessary..
I can't read subtitles and type but i can type and listen...oh, by the way i can lip read :)
I can sew, knit, make jewellery and watch tv and do both well :0
i am down to 34...working like a very slow snail...
I can't do all of them at the same time but one of each and watch tv
es 9?
i always do more than one thing at a time...like babble and watching tv....but sometimes i miss something on the tv show...
nm
it relates to a waterway, ru....
You only need to listen pen.Sometimes listening is better than watching
thank you pen
Do you drive Pen?
Driving and listening to the radio is multi tasking :)
Actually, a lot of the shows I watch have scenes with no dialogue and only action. So listening does me no good.
yes, but some driving is really "autopilot"....
yes, i drive....
my radio is broken, though...:o(
so you don't drive and listen to the radio or listen to a cd int he car Molly??
Back to my film :)
Yeah, I do L. But we have strayed from the original point.
No, we haven't as it was about multi-tasking and driving and listening to a radio is multi tasking.Or can't you do both well
I meant what Pen said about people who shift attention but are not really attending to more than one thing at a time.
listening to music doesn't require much focused attention, though...it's more of a background thing....
i have read research articles on attention.....i work with kids with attention disorders....
when you do more than one task at a time, you are not really attending to all of those tasks at the same time....you shift your attention...
Yep. The radio in the car is background noise mostly. The main focus (hopefully) is on driving.
No, i agree, it doesn't take much focused attention until someone loves a song and the foot is tapping and ends up tapping ont he wrong pedal..my dad is an ex policeman and has seen accidents because of it
31 now....this is painful...
Well in that case, all the attention has shifted to the music, and not the driving.
Same thing with texting while driving accidents.
yes, lillian....that person had trouble shifting attention....
one can make up interesting compound words in this grid....too bad they are not real words...
in 9 help please
This is why ADD is such a difficult disorder. Everything comes in to the attention span at the same volume and there is no way to filter anything to the background.
in9...imply
it is like being in a loud cocktail party all the time...
thank you
duh ooooh
I don't think that is such a duh word. Not the way it snakes around the grid.
well i am finally under 30...
It is a long, arduous journey, Pen.
go penquis!
yes....28 now...
LBD has come back to cheer. *Hands LBD pom poms*
lol....can't believe i missed a French word!
evening all
hi...
If it's the ch7,the castle i've just found that too,i should have found that earlier as i've visited many in France
HI Jes
thanks for the ch7
Yw
yes, lilliann....it was the castle...my first language was French...
Really? So where were you born Pen?
born in Maine....grandparents were all French Canadians....so i did not learn English until my brother started school....so i was about 4....
Or where did you live to speak French?
So you are bi lingual now
in elementary school, half the day was taught in French....French reading, writing, etc....
yes, but my speaking is rusty....receptive language is excellent....sometimes i think of a French word instead of an English one...
In Maine? Really? That much French was taught in school?
yes, when i was a kid....parochial schools....about 5 out of 8 kids went to parochial schools and most taught French from first grade....
over half way :)
this was in my town...only true in a few Maine towns at the time...
so many kids went to parochial schools that we all rode the public school buses to school...
first ra help please?
it must be great to know 2 languages fluently. My parents speak both but only because they've lived in France for over 20 odd years. i've forgotten alot of my French and English :)
I'm looking for that myself Ru
ra + **** pet (grass for hair) + one of the most common consonants...
yes, it is convenient when traveling in Canada as well as Europe...
thank you pen
That word is nearly my name:) ty Pen
how about a clue for the tr 9 word?...nearly mine, too, lilliann, lol....
Is it still taught that way now?
yw, ru...
no....in northern Maine (not where i grew up) they are trying to teach it in elementary school, but not to the extent that I had it in school....sad really...

May I please have a clue for ra5-14? Thanks
