Our apartment building has an elevator but from the street you have to go up two 9 step flights of stairs to get to the courtyard and building entrance.
oh how silly. Can't they at least provide a wheelchair-friendly incline? Would be obligatory here.
Newer buildings have the inclines but this building is around 50 years old.
shouldn't be so hard to make one. That way, at least you didn't have to lug your groceries, but you could roll them up.

Excellent definition, crossy! In my case, I just never really tried to get proficient transcribing her, watched others do it, and just really dug into the doctor I am good at and kept her work up to date. I think my boss finally realized I was valuable in that regard and gave up trying to get me to do crazy doc. I have more skill and experience than anyone else she has working for her so I guess that makes me valuable.

One of the exercises is to have your dog under control around food. You take them to a bowl with titbits in it but don't allow them to eat until you give permission. The other evening one of the dogs lay down obediently but then started a kind of commando crawl towards the bowl. It was so funny!
I am a dog lover - large dogs - but am dog sitting for my father in law while he is away. So I have 2 minature shnouzers (sp?) that are driving me crazy
Miniature schnauzers have become very popular but they can be a bit sharp - is that the right term to use?
and these 2 are very spoiled. Yes I guess sharp is a good word for them. So I have my lab who is quiet and these 2 little ones that dont shut up.

my father in law is 80 years old and doesnt really go anywhere so he is home with them all day and they go out quite often to do their business.

and they dont eat when I put their food down in the morning so they go hungry during the day because I cant leave it out or my Tori will eat it. And mine eats a special dry food only.
He has a totally fenced in yard so he just lets them out. I cant do that because they take off. I learned that the hard way the first night when I was chasing them through the woods in the dark. So I have to leash them.
They sound a handful!
they are 7 and 9 years old and this is the first time they have ever slept anywhere else but home. Maggie is sort of depressed. I cant get her to sit with me while watching TV. She runs to the mudroom and sits by the door. Missy does eventually settle down on my lap.
I can just imagine what my Tori thinks when she sees them doing their business in the basement - "oh you are going to be in so much trouble"
