Hope you are enjoying this wonderful weather we have been having. Wonder how much longer it will last.
I've been delighted to have seen sunshine for so long. We've had a couple of days of rain just to freshen things up but hopefully the good weather will continue.
It makes such a change to be able to wear warm weather clothes for more than just holidays.
No rain here for at least a month so far. Yes it is nice to wear less clothes. My parent swere shocked to see me without a jumper today haha!
My daughter lives in London and it has been sweltering there. She hasn't used the tube in weeks, declaring if she can't get somewhere by overground or bus, she won't go.
Our grass is crisping up a little, but nothing compared to the south of England. I saw overhead shots of London and was amazed at how yellow the grass is. It will recover eventually.
Do not blame her. When I worked in London for a while it was stifling on the tube. Although I would not be able to afford the prices these days..It is so expensive now.
Yes all the grass here looks like hay too.

We tend to visit her May or October time and even then it's amazing to feel the hot air in the tube, don't blame her for staying above ground.

Must admit to not being in London for a fair few years now, Haz. It was a grubby place when I worked there. Since they had the Oylmpics the seem to have tidied the place up a lot.
We've been across a fair few times now - always something to see and do, apart from the attraction of seeing her, of course! It's amazingly busy, always, so that while I enjoy maybe 3 days or so, by the end I'm glad to come back to normality.
I don't think I could live there permanently. She seems to thrive on the buzz, but it's exhausting.
Oh I hear you on that score. I do not mind going for a day or two but always glad to be home again.
You certainly need to keep your wi4/8 about you!
It's just the sheer number of people that amazes me. Everywhere you go, people.
Not my cup of tea. Totally different to here on the Isle of Wight.
I know. My only other experience of living in a city was in Edinburgh as a student, but that was nothing compared to London.
THe town here will be lucky to have around thirty people at the peak time haha!
