Sorry didnt see it. Walmer is lovely.Nice castle. It runs into Deal which is gorgeous - full of lanes with 17th 18th century houses, Beautiful country around. Dover Castle which must be best castle in country(?) not bad rail links to London. Free buses for over 60's! What more can you ask?
lovely beach, friendly, big new arts / community centre. There's also lots of art stuff in Margate
I qualify for the free buses. That's what makes living in London so good. I can get anywhere for free.

you'd soon get to know people, there's a lot of community art / craft societies and things, and actually, I met most people I know here from shoppping - there are a lot of "proper" shops round here, not huge chain stores. So I spend half my time lounging around in shops talking to their owners and their dogs!
I moved from London 6 years ago. Dont regret it for a moment. Folks are pretty friendly down here so take the leap Hydra

its such an awkward situation, my blooming best friend - I mean my darling angel best friend - has broken her ankle. Just been outside in the snow to check on the bunnies. Don't think my younger cat has ever seen deepish snow before. I wish I'd filmed his reaction when I opened the door. He was also terrified by the scrunching sound it made when I walked in it.

I have a "glacier" of snow, about 12 ft high, at the end of my driveway where my snowplow guy pushes the snow.
