curious, I explained before -- ca7 means a 7-letter word starting with ca, and x 3 means there are three like that. At this point people don't give any more clues than those, so you can find the words on your own (if possible, which it usually isn't for me!)

Some days are harder than others; some grids are shorter but really hard. It doesn't really matter; we each play this in our own ways. Sometimes I'm in a time crunch and work diligently; somedays I'd rather chat

well, yes, I guess -- IE 7 has that little star for Favorites and it's easy to bring up my 3 windows -- Babble, Lickety and Morewords, which i have shrunk sideways and can access easliy. In Firefox I have to go to Bookmarks and mess around or go to history. So to use google I go to Firefox because it's right there in history (don't like the thing on the right because it doesn't take me to Images easily) I'm sure this is more than you wanted to know!

well, if giggle has left, I'll try to tell you. If you're using IE, you can copy all the words you have and paste them into a box at the bottom of Lickety's list, then click on the Add button and the whole lot goes into the list in the right places. And you can then delete what's in the box and copy/paste additions as you get them.

i like to go through letter by letter at first, looking for all possible words i can get from each letter. after that i hang out and cull the chat for clues till i get stuck, then i get lickety's list to finish. lickety's list is in the list of "friends of babble" links. it gives you clues like ca4/5, which means it starts with ca, is 4 letters long and 5 points.
its a link below...gives you the first 2 letter combos and point values
Different people do the grid in different ways. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with. I just try to find words and get them written down before I forget them.

I really really like this new feature at lickety! Everytime you copy & paste to the list, it tells you how many more words you've found and it also puts the words in the correct spot alphabetically...no more guessing!

Jane, it works on IE but so far not on Firefox. You can enter lots of words in the My Word list, then highlight what you have and go to Lickety's and scroll down to the bottom where you will find a box. Paste your words into the box and hit the button below which says Add Bulk. All your words will then show up in the right places in Lickety's list. As you find more words, just keep repeating that and they will fill the blanks.
