it really depends on how large you want to print your pictures... even smaller ones yo should be able to get good 8x10s... but if you ever want larger prints than that, you might not want to go much smaller
I rarely print pictures -- and never larger than 8x10 -- usually just make digital albums that I burn onto a cd or dvd.

I did look at it, but it doesn't have all the features the panasonic does. The panasonic doesn't allow for optional settings, but it does have a lot of choices. It is also 7.2 mp and 10x optical zoom.

hmmm... I'd probably go with the panasonic, if you are looking for something smaller. plus it has a 10x Optical zoom... much better than digital zoom

I read through all the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy books at my library so quickly, one of the librarians actually let me borrow from her personal library to fill in the gaps in the library's inventory

well, when he told me about it over a year ago, he had no idea what he was getting me into
"Cheating" implies that this is a competitive game. I prefer the idea that it is a cooperative game.
the only time it becomes a serious point of contention is when people decide to tout their personal preference as 'superior' -- that just makes for an awkward time on the log -- as the wise man once said "Different strokes for different folks!"

Dorens - I'm a purist like your son re lists but that's not to say I don't use them towards the bitter end. I have no objection to anyone else using them. I don't use them for the simple reason that I play games like this to keep my brain active and I will challenge it as far as I can, time permitting each day. What I DO object to are cheat sites that post the lists of (full) words. I cannot see any point in that.

Yes, Jac--this game is like a word search but WITHOUT the list of words to check off. The first 2 ltrs serve as a guide, but sometimes even then the words are hard to find or know.
