pink, she is a very old (nearly 19) longhaired calico in frail health who has stopped grooming herself so dead hair had accumulated and wound around itself making mats which hurt the skin and must be removed
i bought my own 3 and 2 seater sofa's and moved my landlady's 2 seater upstairs in the doorway, which is fairly new. Willow has been in the family for nearly 5 years, so she knows, and it doesn't happen at mum's house

I'd say we still miss her, but she hasn't really left. She absolutely loved cheese and, when my Other Half, who is not given to flights of fancy, was making pizza this evening, he said she was rubbing around his legs all the time. And I know I often go to pull out a dining chair and it's heavy 'cos she's sitting on it, like she always did before she died.

Jilli - I don't think my Kira, who arrived when the time was right to love me like my dog did, will leave me until I get another dog. I think she's putting I want a dog thoughts in my head now, though I haven't been ready for 12 years or a bit more to love a dog again. I miss having a female cat, too, because, before Kira who was totally mine, I've almost always had a half cat (a female that belonged to someone else but spent half her time with me).
