oh i just thought of a great tutu pic.. i had made a tutu for one of my birds.... My mother LOVED ballerinas..and when she was dying, i dressed one of my birds up as a ballerina for her.

Sorry Spite, here's our old family ritual: My mom always let us "scrape" an apple when we started feeling a little better after that Sprite. Cut an apple in half, get a spoon and scrape the the apple fleisch(?) with the edge of the spoon and enjoy it. It was always the first food we got after...you know....we had....."that".

my kitchen floor has been good one side plywood for...15 months now
we finished painting the kitchen last night which we have paid them for, but i thought it would help them go quicker...1 cupboard up all morning and they've gone for lunch and 1 has gone somewhere else
oh yes - we had to empty the entire kitchen of course, then applied their stuff on the surface, started to install the new covering when imperfections were discovered - had to re-enter fridge, stove and table and wait for a while before a new, faultless covering arrived...took a while...
oh i'm so sorry cheeky... hang in there, let's hope it will be finished soon :)
me and hubby don't have much luck with builders....we are having front garden all block paved and brick wall built on sunday by other people....hopefully they are alot better!

Probably a tethered cord, Dan, when the lower end of the spinal cord is tethered to the overlying tissue. Then as a kid grows, the tether places traction on the cord--neurological symptoms such as leaking urine/stool.

The three kids who come to private German class to our house every Wed were amazed taht I had been alive during WWII. That was about as much as they could handle
actually, I have scrabs. when darth was a baby, a couple of months old, i went to change his diaper and his "stuff" was gone! I called the doctor in a panic (he is my first, and only), and the nurse explained to my (between laughing hysterically) that his stomach muscles hadn't developed yet and the skin had just sagged around it. she told me to press gently on either side, and it popped back out. That was a scary few minutes for me!
pugmama -- some of the people who do that wear dentures. I know my grandad did that because they just didn't fit right.

hi, all. I posted here earlier today about my daughter's car accident. She called a few minutes ago. Her right foot is broken, and she is in a splint and on crutches. She will see an orthopedist tomorrow for follow up. It is expected it will take six weeks for the foot to heal. The children are both fine. Ryan, age 1, has a small red mark and scratches on his forehead and face, but is otherwise okay. The baby she is carrying is also okay; the heartbeat is normal.
