I just spent almost $1000 on various repairs here--plumbing, lighting, etc. And that is just the start of my to-do list.

Yep, my bunnies have always used a litter box, since my first bunny in 1983. Bunnies are territorial so it takes time to "bond" them.

Initially the bunny needs to be kept in the cage with the box, then when they consistently use the box they can be free in the room. Miss B has 2 boxes down here and she will use whichever is closer. Bunnies are smart.

Add sweet potatoes, yams, turnips, brussel sprouts, and mushrooms--I do the veggie roast a lot. Cook in olive oil.
i gave him watered down juice instead of milk. he's sounding better now that he's been upright and cuddled for a while.
oh i kin tell you how to make it, it's real easy. get a bag of beans (i get 16 beans at stop & shop) and some stock and some hamhocks or bones and some onions of some sort (i like scallions) and i like to add potatoes. put it all in a pot and simmer for about 4 hours. remove hocks/bones. i like to puree some and then add it back in to thicken it.
and soak the beans a day in advance. you don't HAVE to but it helps.

Cold air, cold fluids/foods, ibuprofen, you can try Benadryl, keep him calm...call your pediatrician if he worsens as oral steroid treatment may be needed--2 days of prednisone help a lot!

Feather...croup is worse at night so I am concerned that he is having daytime symptoms. I have a low threshold to start prednisone--eases the illness considerably and is safe when used short-term

Benadryl helps if there is an allergic trigger, but most cases are viral.

Good feather. If it were me I would prescribe prednisone in order to make the next few days/nights easier. It takes 8-12 hrs for steroids to start working.
