we were going to get the internet set up for our granddaughter she just got her first apt were all set to get her dsl and were told they don't have it in her area
difficult to navigate; cannot manipulate manually programs and software; graphics are cumbersome and don't work as advertised... few things I have heard so far
jilli I looked at 40 pages of google images to get her so I'm keeping her for a few days lol

dee, the photo programs are one of the reasons that the vast majority of graphics companies use macs exclusively
is there anything your mac won't do that you could do before?

I would never edit feature films... but I need one that handles all microsoft office programs well; will edit, manipulate, and print photos; will design greeting cards with large graphics and print them; scanner; large monitor; recipe software that would be compatible with old; good email; address book, etc... graphics and sound cards for gaming...

back again - just received a phone call from daughter - she just completed a ProRide course - riding (my much hated vehicle) motorcycle
and with parallels, you can open up a program while mac osx is running, and have windows within it, though it doesn't work as well since both systems are running at the same time

tom, if you look at your word list, you'll see every word has a letter count and a point count. read the "help" section at the top of the page for explanation of the point count. so people refer to words as MO 5/12, meaning a word starts with MO, has five letters and 12 points.
