Depnds on the sausage. Our local ones don't have rusk in. Rusks are a kind of biscuit, used to be fed to babies (maybe still?) because they mashed up nicely in milk.

it depends on the contents. most are good for at least 5 to 7 years unless stored in heat above 80F
then the shelf life drops to 2 or 3 years, maybe more

I think both types of food, as well as dehydrated and/or freeze-dried, have their places in a solid and sensible storage plan.
I thought the had much packed food and other ways of keeping food, the troops and modern explorers use the stuff.
an MRE is usually higher in calorie content than a regular meal (unless you like do drown it in cheese as I do)

I think in a special circumstance like that Sally they would not say no. I remember a story of these little kids they were about 10 and the little girl was dying and she wanted to marry her best boy friend. So they did but it wasn't legal and all that it was just a very sweet ceremony.

Darth was on the track team this spring...most people gave him a hard time about it, but I figured that he liked it, and aside from a mold case of shin splints, he did pretty well...now he is looking for a club team to practice with over the summer so he can run better next year
