hello babble friends - I wish you could all be with me right now....after all the drama of last night's sleepover, I have the afternoon to myself, and the weather has FINALLY turned lovely again. Right now I am out in my hammock, with my laptop (obviously), babbling next to a babbling stream. It's so peaceful!

yes, peri, that may be it....I have heard that it is a good idea to keep a cat confined in one room for a month after a move, until they acclimate. You may have to do that once she is rescued

Peri, I just signed on and would like to share my experience with my cat when we moved. She was so freaked out by the change that she went under our bed and stayed there without food or water for over a week. We could see her so we weren't so distressed as you, but she did not eat, drink or poop for over a week.

She finally came out and went back in whenever she felt uncomfortable but she was fine in spite of all my concern.

Yep, right from the start. Miss Bea was a foster bunny, over age 1, and she learned quickly.
Jacko was in need of physcholigical help from well before the time he began to get plastic surgery. I'm not sure if he didn't get it because he was being 'played and used' or because he refused it, or because no one realised. That's my opinion anyway. I loved his music, his dance and his voice.
