Well, it's not that I looked at a selection - the beau's work has one on for a very good price that is incredibly durable and good (a Lenovo G530 for $500) and my lappy is killing yet another power cord (melting it by over heating) so he finally convinced me to get a new one before this one completely dies.

Scrabs, I had particularly bad luck with my laptop. It has had to be repaired many times. Others have much better luck than I. That is why I want a tough book. I take remarkable care of electronics, but I always need to use warranties. Newer Acers are getting better every generation.

My worst experiences were in NICU--working from 7 am one day until 2 pm the next day and being delirious and ready to cry.
It just isnt appropriate. We dont let pilots fly without sleep, so why should we think anyone can make sound decisions on not enough sleep?
I mean really! think about that - 80 hour work weeks - LOL
Running to deliveries, taking care of critically ill babies, making ventilator decisions, starting IVs on 500 g premies, etc....but it did make me resilient.

Owl, it depends on the conditions and how fast you want to go. We do "quiet water" paddling--lakes, rivers. When going against the wind/current it is a work-out for arms and abs.
I have 3-4 eggs once weekly. My cholesterol is normal but I have always been careful.
