I hac gotten them down before restricting sugar and using whole grains - and not even too much of those. I ate my "feedbag" breakfast - oat bran, flax meal, and butermilk. It's an acquired taste but actually very satisfying.

I find Sweeta tolerable
fruit juice is as bad as pop in my case. Fruit is OK because it has fiber which slows sugar absorption. V8 juice is fine. Infact, veggies - non-starchy - are my new bffs.

if you are trying to retrcit your sugar fruit juice can be your worst enemy - you tend to drink too much of it. My diabetic nurse told me to only have one very small glass a day as a glass of ornage juice can be as much as 4 or 5 ornages

big news from the Fair, DR!!! Primo took three first places, two seconds, a third place and an HM in art. In photography, he won two HMs, and Secondo won 1 blue ribbon, 2 seconds and a HM. Not bad for her first fair, and she only entered 4 photos!
