Housekeepers are hard to predict - my mother had one woman, a delight - they had many common interests, could chat all day, but if my mother wanted to read or write letters, she wasn't interrupted. But her husband retired and they wanted to move to Florida; the next woman we found was almost illiterate and could talk of nothing but religion and politics at table. Very difficult for my mother, who was basically captive with her for hours every day.
