I just dislike the whole manipulation that goes on - of audiences, of judges, of the contestants. Unfortunately, it's the price of making TV shows that sell, but I do think people are starting to waken up to and react against the sob stories. Talent should be the only thing up for judgement.

my son tried the tantrum thing, my mom told me just ignore it and it will stop go about your business like normal, as soon as he realizes nothing will come from it will stop. He would throw himself on the floor and scream like the world had come to an end. And it worked like a charm after a few days!
with my boys, if one of them (now 9 & 13) acted up really badly at school (which rarely happened) I would pick him up and go to lunch. talk about the day and see if the ro4 of the issue would come out.
if my son did it in the street, I would just sit down on the sidwalk and wait it out. He was always too big for me to lift, so I really didn't have a choice.
oh mel, my son did the same! In shops too. I had to step right over him and continue the shopping. But it worked fine, he only tried a few times.

you feel like you are going to die of embarassment but better than giving in and raising a spoiled rotten screamign child like I see in the stores now days

my daughter has a neat system that works on her boys if they get something taken away fro bad behavior they have to not only miss out on having the item but they have to work to get it back IE clean or some kind of chore.

the primary advantage of using amazon is that they give 2-5% of price to the Center through GoodShop (feel free to use GoodShop and select the Center)
