thanks jilli your blue reminds me of the waters of Bermuda
jill scanned photo
she's bandaged up to her eyeballs almost. because she's an old girl, they didn't pin her leg, they are just letting it heal naturally, cos any slight abnormalities from it will be nothing compared to her arthritis anyway
then put on FB
that's the idea, west -- and Key West...
how many points in the et 7?
I have underwear that blue..
hi ruru
hi jilli
et + another word for painter minus the first consonant - et7/28

never understood why the vulgar sh4 was good but the sh5 brit equivalent wasn't
dee I thought it had been used before

I think itty should be a word
we had our first obedience lesson today.. it's a lot of work
our daughter finished 11 of those lessons and said the exact same thing
especially since she got the dog at almost 9 months
does she behave well now dee? lol
was it in a class, ruru?
really did help; doesn't bark as much; sits... the test will be over Easter when they are all here
private lessons
Feeling quite pleased with myself for having found the 9 all on my lonesome
what kind of dog?
wtg douglas
wtg doug
American bulldog
good for you doug
aww bet it's precious
looks like Petey from The Little Rascals (but no pit bull in her)
what's her name?
original name was Isabella something, but our daughter calls her Ellie
hang on, I think I have a bad mobile phone pic...
we had an Ellie she was a yellow lab named her Eleanor after my boss
blurry, but you can get an idea
love the name eleanor
she's really cute looks like she's in charge lol
lol I bet she thinks she is
cute as a button, dee!
was she a rescue dog?
here's another one; yes... her owner lost his job in Indy... couldn't afford to care for her properly (or that was the story told)
ty jili
was brought up around 2 little girls, so that was encouraging
that one looks like she's saying her prayers
they must have been broken hearted
I think they were; Lindz said it was difficult going to pick her up, but promised to take good care of her
nice that Ellie has a good new home
she is spoiled, but I think also made to mind
but like I said, we'll see at Easter LOL
falling asleep here, time for bed, goodnight all

*poofing with hugs*
good night dee you too
nite
I have the he 8 what are the stats for the other please?
Why do I enter a word that I know Babble will not accept as a word? Do I think it will work this time? It's like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown
it is doug hope springs eternal
But it shouldn't spring at all! It is a mathematical certainty that a word that wasn't accepted yesterday won't be accepted today. Hope is clearly illogical!
no it's our state's motto
anyone have a clue for the je 6 plz
don't have it yet diz
think beaches and piers
okies west
just got it
oh--still sleepy--that's the 7
plural of the je5/24
lol yes that's the one I got
derr me meant the ja 6
The movie "12 Monkeys" was a sorta kinda remake of the movie "The je5"
oh okay I do have that it's like a green semi precious stone
ja and another name for a plate
wow ty west
anyone have the stats for the 8 that's not the he?
yw diz
didn't see that movie doug was Brad Pitt in that?
di8/50 but I haven't got it
thank you jilli
I just know it's NOT a dis word
that helps ty
it's the line that bisects a circle
ty west
as soon as you said it wasn't a dis I found it
didn't mean to blurt it out
west, I seem to recall Bruce Willis being in it, with Terry Gilliam directing
thanks doug did you think it was good?
always looking for movies to get on NetFlix
I remember actually seeing "The Je5" and sorta kinda thinking it was interesting. Never saw 12 Monkeys
I'll look them both up
Brad Pitt was not only in 12 Monkeys, but received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in that movie
wow I can't even imagine a movie with both of them in it
I'm 5 words to halfway, but with 6 blank tiles. Rather sad, I'm afraid
And why am I typing in an 8 letter word when I already have both 8's?
save it for next time
* * fireworks * *
Yay jilli !!
congrats jilli
yay jilli
thanks -- I can clue for a little while
hi katie haven't seen you in awhile
hi katie :)
di 8 plz jilli
west clued it for me -- radius x 2
Yay jilli!
you at work Katie?
oh derr thanx jilli and west
or di 8 -- the line which bisects a circle (west't clue)
typo time I see
going to Grantham will leave about 11am in smiley car rather than christine
you coward
your car has a name, katie?
sensible is the word you were looking for
It didn't until yesterday jilli but it locked me in for 40 mins with the alarm going off every time I moved. It is now called Christine!
smiley car is the relief car work hired for me!
yikes! Evil Christine!
it let me out 10 mins before the breakdown service got to me, which in my book makes it even more evil
why particularly christine?
Stephen King's book about a possessed car
oh -- hadn't read that -- most appropriate!
eyes slamming shut -- last chance for clues...!
night jilli, sleep well
thanks jilli too many left here have a nice sleep
just home from night out, hello babblers!
hi pip hope you had fun
well then goodnight all -- hi and bye pip!
how is today's grid?
hello pippin, did you have a nice nite
not bad, pip, and Lickety's list is up
i did, i met a wonderful bartender and she and i may hang out some more - she's new in town from seattle
so, goodnight again, happy babbling, and *poof*
always good to make new friends
night jilli
tesh, etly, nothing I'm trying is working...maybe 71 words isn't so bad
i'm on 73 one more word and I'm off to do some work
you playing this time katie?
Oh nice kitchen westford
yes playing, the work calls don't start until about 9am lol
thanks we love it
I meant are you playing in Lent
VERY nice kitchen! Hello all
didn't you give it up for lent last year?
hi lyn
i think it's bedtime for this kitten - laundry tomorrow and haircut and then major climbing day
Oh yes, last year was a misery and I ended up playing gala bingo instead so decided this year I wouldn't be giving it up
and it's after 3am and i must get up at a reasonable hour!
goodnight Pippin
I try to think of something I can give up but I hate to disappoint myself lol
night all
i've actually given up chocolate no by choice but I realised that I hadn't had any since lent started so that's what I should carry on with
good night pip sleep well
*poof*
chocolate is a good thing to give up
was it making you ill?
that's what I thought, and then the easter egg will be very special
oh yes !!
Easter is coming so early this year
and so it daylight savings time
March 14th for us
so is*
28th March for us
not that long ago it was closer to the end of April
whose idea was that anyway?
and we'll be on holiday lol
oh nice where are you going?
we keep having discussions about whether it should be kept. It was based on the farming requirements for as much daylight in the winter as possible I think
that doesn't seem to work here it's always dark and dingy in winter
We are going to the Maldives again with Mari & Mr Mari and our two closest friends can't wait. Will be 50 days next monday
Hello
I'm so jealous
Hi Herin
hi herin how was your day?
next questioin lets talk about the Maldives
hugs herin
that bad huh?
hi Infernal - nearly the weekend
Thank gods Lynxx. Yes it was
katie tell her about Christine..I'm sure you didn't think it was funny at the time
Actually I kept my sense of humor quite well all things considered
thank goodness for cell phones
I read that. My friend said that about his car and BOOM damn thing breaks down
my brother drives an old heap and it was stolen..thief left it a block away
snort
lol
luckily the windows were opening so if something had gone really bad I could have climbed out the window, but as I told the recovery service my Daisy Duke days were long gone
My teacher was Life coaching us today. i actually left the room as I was feeling ill
you having a bad time herin?
hope you aren't coming down with something herin
katie if you had done a Daisy Duke imitation you know it would have shown up on YouTube
No the subject made me vomitus
oh the shame of it lol
at least I have a reliable car for my work today and tomorrow, although I'm glad I don't have to leave until later on account of having to use gears again when Christine is an automatic
I don't believe in Life Coaching. In fact I think its a crock and I get so angry and irritated
herin are these life lessons a normal part of class?
unfortunately yes
BUT she should be teaching us not telling us
Need to dash and do some work. See you all later, have a good evening/night/morning
you too Katie nice to see you again
Like um It would be really great if you could sort out your paper work by having in / out box not you MUST
she's passing on her experience?
or is she one of those that thinks her way is the only way
Her way and you are a sheep. i had a talk with her today and apparently since I haven't worked for 2 years I NEED this help. Can I just say f off x a bizlion. I am perfectly happy being a cranky moo
yes you may say it just not to her face lol
I did tell her that I did not believe this stuff and that we are not sheep we are free thinking people
some teachers are good and some are not you just have to do what is best for you
I got told by the dean to stop putting up barriers I may learn something. I felt like saying what how to tell her that I don't give a north bound end of a south bound rat
you should do what they say until you graduate and then you can do what you want it's hard I know
sounds like a very strict atmosphere
No. Screw that. I would honestly rather fail at that subject than have my beliefs destroyed
do you have a problem with the subject or just the teacher might be better off dropping the class
I think the teacher would be better off teaching properly and not preaching. NO one tells me what to do
as I said before there are good teachers and bad teachers looks like you got a bad one
if it makes you feel sick to be in her class that's not good
how do the rest of the students feel about her?
don't like it
is she new?
maybe at the end of the year when students critique her she'll learn from it
That's work/school Infernal - there is usually someone telling you what to do - you have to buckle under sometimes and show your initiative/independence in other ways
Yes she is new.
Lynxx it is the preaching that pisses me off. Plus at work you are paid to put up with crap
BRB I think that cat did something gross
oh no that's all you need
Good morning/evening all. Another beautiful day here, but COLD.
getting some coffee bbs
Go with the flow Infernl, you need to get through this course and get good grades to help you get the job you want don't you?
Hallo Haz! See you still have my absolute favourite icon!
Morning Haz
lynxxx, I'm coming in on the tail end of the conversation and something tells me herin shouldn't think of joining the military....
Hello Sally! Good, isn't it?
Did you find it on google?
I did, I couldn't believe it when I saw it.
God forbid!
Think I need a large sized one of those.
Needless to say, I thought of you.
Found it! Will print it later. You are too kind Haz.
No problem, Sally. Will you wear it as a badge?
I have a lovely headline on my pinboard which says "Sally goes doolally"
No I was thinking of something larger than a badge :-)
jmc really didn't get the tradition of blaming FM but has funny icon up
lynxxx, I remember years ago when a young man we knew who came from rather a disorganised family, joined the army. When he came home on leave, his mother told mine that he was like a whirlwind in the house, insisting that everything be cleaned up and polishing everybody's shoes!
I must have a look at jmc's icon. When the theme came up I wasn't really sure what would be available, and was pleasantly surprised.
Perhaps you could embroider cushion with it on Sally - or make a quilt?
What actually was the theme Haz?
lol lynxxx. You haven't seen my sewing.
It was 'Let's not blame FMitch' day.
Oh I see!!!
Because, as you know, FM takes the blame for everything, from nuclear weapons to litter in the streets.
Must go and find jmc's icon.
The army here likes to 'break' people like Infernal
Jmc's icon is really good!
I think armies everywhere want to get people to do what they tell them without thinking. It seems to be the way to get people to obey orders, even if they seem mad.
Yes
Found the icon - brilliant!
I sympathise with herin, I don't like being told what to do either, but throughout life we have to accept orders - from the police, employers, whatever.
We've had a series of programmes over here (not immediately recently) which followed young ne'er do wells as they entered the army for a spot of discipline. Some fought against it harder than others, but so many lacked even the fundamentals of respecting the offices etc.
Things have improved in that I think we don't accept stuff from say doctors without question, but has gone too far.
I remember when I was in hospital at age 5 my mother was told she couldn't visit because "it would upset me". I got my own back because on visiting day oh boy did I make a fuss! No mother would accept that now.
You note that this was so long ago that visiting was once a week.
Things have swung to the other extreme in many hospitals as regards visiting - they were finding in some cases that people couldn't get on with their jobs, patients couldn't get proper rest, simply because visitors were swamping the place the whole time. I've a friend who is a ward manager in a maternity unit and they had to clamp down - they were having families camping for hours!
how many words are there??
I agree there, and number of visitors especially should be restricted. It's very tiring to have visitors when in hospital, but should be different for children.
There are 148 words, diann.
148 words
Yes, children are a special case, I agree.
Our childrens hospital allows parents to sleep in the rooms, no bed, only chair but still. Not sure about in wards though
SOrry about that I got chatting to my neighbour about his daughters very awesome schooling
I think that's so here lynxx. My case was (cough) a few years ago.
Yes, I'm pretty sure there are facilities (depending on the hospital) for parents staying over.
lol
Isn't the Royal CHildrens Hospital here very family centred?
Thst is what I was talking bout Infernal
BBS Off to ice first half of neenish tarts
See you later, lynxxx.
neenish?
I love the differences in language that crop up in Babble, not the grid but in the chog.
Its an Iced Biscuit
OK, have neenish. Google was my friend.
A neenish tart, also in the past sometimes called a nienich tart, is a tart made with a pastry base, usually jam, sweet gelatine-set cream or mock cream paste filling, and icing on top in two colours, half one colour and half the other. They are almost exclusively sized as individual servings, 10-12 cm in diameter. This kind of tart (so far as is known) was created in Australia, and is still best known there.
It's funny, we have iced biscuits over here, we call them German biscuits, but everywhere else (Scotland, England etc) calls them either Empire or Commonwealth biscuits.
Yep we are weird
Time for me to be off, I'll be back later. Bye for now!
Bye Haz
Later Hz
Haz sorry
Bye!
hi everyone
HI Andree
Hi Andreee. Sorry, was getting coffee.
not on for long , have had a very full day and a late night last night
Sound like me Andree
i went to the tom jones concert last night
O wonderful
what a buzz, i took a pair of undies to throw at him, his voice is exactly the same as 40 years ago, amazing, he will be 70 in june
You naughty thing you
it was so much fun, the best part being it was a free ticket, friends husband was sick and i was happy to drive her in and enjoy the show for free
O wonderful Andree
have i frightened everyone else off herin with my loose morals
hehe
lol, no andree, just deep in the grid because I have to go out later.
was worried for a minute
I hope you took clean ones in to throw :-)
Wonder what he does with them all. Mind boggling here.
he takes it all with such good humour, guess they go to some charity or he has a very big storeroom
I don't want to think about that one :D
hi Andree
hi lynxxx
Well I'm going to go and get on with some other things for now and be back later to finish. 46 to find which is quite a nice number. Bye for now all.
another freebie, you re doing well with them. Saw him interviewed earlier this week, still charmer
bye sally
bye Sally
45 now - just saw the word that sometimes describes our day!
pays to be always available, in other words time i got a life
any nibbles yet Andree?
i have had 2 offers, so low, its not funny, i made a loss last year[ who didn't] and there broker says lots out there trolling to pick up a bargain
Has work picked up at all?
definitly better, but still slow despite what our government have to say
I know you don't want to but maybe you can hang in for the year?
i made a major decision today and rang telstra to arrange for the phone and fax lines to be moved here , if i can work from home i will save quite a lot of money and can hang out for another year or 2
That sounds like a plan ANdree. Also look at better phone deals
Seems like good idea, good luck
one guy is emailing broker daily, really wants the business , this has been going on for 6 weeks and he won't go away, not sure which part of offer is not nearly high enough he doesn't understand
today's email says she will never get a better offer than mine, i could sell off the trucks and bins for more than his offer
What is it with some peole
Morning people. Andree, reading back....sounds like an unpleasant situation!
Hi Red
hi red, remember the problems when you were selling your place so guess i will work through it too
morning Red
I would try to if I was in your shoes. In the end it all worked out well enough. I just have to now figure out how to do my taxes for the year...
Hi lyn, herin, andree....
This grid is a bit hard
This grid is a bit hard
I am noting this too, 65 words in.
Just thinking that, struggling to get to 100
you know what they say red, hansome young mrn are a dime a dozen but short ugly accountants are worth their weight in gold
LOL!!!
well, I now have one entire 7 letter word...
might have something to do with being brain dead
For you maybe, btu I just woke up, feel slightly fresh
btu I really dont want to go to work....
well I am over half way now.
63 here, is there a list today?

Good morning everyone
Morning Scrabbler
How are you, Norma?
I am very well thanks ... and yourself
Waking up.
What time is it in your house, it is 11.20am here
6:20am here. My alarm went off 20 min ago. I give my bunnies their salads, pour coffee, then head to the computer.
That is what is called getting your priorities right lol
This grid does not seem very easy.
There are some very strange words in it... even strange by babble standards
I am starting to see some patterns now.
Yay, 76/72 now and off to get ready for work.
Here and gone ... just checking out the grid ... looks interesting. bbl ... tata
with such a large population of double consonants on the right side of the board, I am beginning to think that solid knowledge of Welsh would be helpful today.
right lid and there was talk of Tom Jones awhile ago in keeping with the theme
I only commented because I know how terrible I feel when I say something and it's like I'm invisible
and now it's happened again c'est la vie
: )
i just figure everyone is deep in the grid
time to list anyway
lideola, your icon photo is BEAUTIFUL!!!
thank you : )
ooooh, big day for torgone! his fave ti4 is in the grid again :)
all of a sudden i'm on 78/70. how did that happen?!?
i guess it happened because i found 78 words, but i'm still surprised
im surprised there are any words in this one lol
indeed, bacon muncher
:)
although i am highly suspicious of there being a 9-letter word in here
:( thanks a lot,now i too can go mad looking for a nine letter word;(
muchos apologies
no problem, once my mind snaps ill be fine;)
can some1 pls help me with ET 7/28
i'm awaiting the arrival of my 2-year old niece. maybe she can find it for me
et7/28 - e plus to make lace, finishing off with the last letters of what Lickety usually produces.
Or, French for st5/10, finishing off with the Lickety reference.
thanks haz - got the french reference
great clue haz
You're welcome.
tyvm Haz
Thanks, Esprit - hello to all!
the hint goes in crossys left ear,out the right and dies painlessly on the floor.... must need a tea
wow I found the 9
I'm glad you didn't delay too long, sixty.

I know right thought I paused too long.
first 2 letters of the 9 please

thanks crossy
i mean, thanks sixty!

np yw. have fun with niece Pinny
He who does it is lost, according to someone or other.
ty madame
A proverb - what a relief, I hoped it wasn't someone famous I should know.
MOrning All.
You're welcome. Good morning, hego.
Haz, I hardly knew ye!
I know, I'm a bit unfamiliar looking. It was for yesterday, when FM was NOT to blame, but Sally was.
morning folks
Hello, featherbee.
I missed yesterday, but got to hear all about your meet with Ata.
Clash of the Titans, babblewise that is.
Oh, it was great fun, hego. I kind of knew them well from exchanging e-mails etc, but it was special to see them face to face and to laugh together.
Sounds great.
Well, both FM and Ata are taller than me,that's for sure. The picture Ata had up was deceiving - FM and I were both sitting down. If it had been done with us standing up, I'd have been a lot lower down. You'd have seen the top of my head.
Where was the picture posted Haz?
Hi Haz! Glad to hear your meet went well. I missed the chog yesterday.
I'd love to see you not looking like a spaniel. LOL
Ata did have it up as her icon and I'm sure she had it on FB as well (not that I know anything about FB)
I could put it up, I sneaked a copy.
Hello hydra - the meet up was fine, lots of conversation and much laughter.
hello babble friends - yet again one word away from NBT, and work approaches....
clue for lonely e in bottom row please?
hi tri
Oh, could you? I missed it.
Hi Trif
et and another word for a painter, minus the first consonant
Try that - Ata is the one at the back, I'm at the left and FM is on the right.
hello feather! I am up to my elbows in feathers these past two weeks!!! see my icon photo for details...lol!
I see it. ty
Where is it, Haz?
If you click on my icon it should be there, hydra.
holy cow tri! lol
No it's not. It just has the Blame Sally icon.
I'll refresh.
I have had to vaccum more than I ever did in my life! it looks like big bird exploded in here....
Haz, you're adorable! You don't look at all like Spangle.
nbt. yeah!
Nope, I still can't see it. Damn!
Why thank you! Spangle is still pretty decorative, I think.
okay, off to work....cheers dears!
Bye Trif, be good.
Bye Trif.
You look fun, Haz. But then we knew that. :-)
You're very kind. Husband took the photo, he seemed to charm FM and Ata without too much problem.
How could someone so smart be such a cute little blond?
Hair dye....
LOL
morning all
Good morning, peri.
Hi Perri
went to seemy friend Edie, yestrday and now I a natural blonde again :-)
Morning peri
My hair was very blonde as a child, got darker as I got older, and now I just help nature along a little.
Hi Hydra
haz,i request a new working title for my book please
Okay, what's the new title?
what is the old title, crossy?
bacon bits..the fairy dust for meal perfection
hmm,ok, I am thinking of another one for you
im thinking as well cause "ban bacon" just does not work for me
The old title was Ban Bacon! Remember that these are the shortest books in the world, therefore the chances of you writing much about banning bacon are slim.
ahh i see
Hiya hego. Sorry, I'm very rude today. Dived straight into the chat without saying hello. Sorry everyone! I still can't see the pic Haz. I can see it as a tiny icon but can't enlarge it. Grrr!
In the same way, I'm useless with a needle, so My guide to embroidery is likely to be blank pages.
Greetings all
B is for Bacon?
Is your e-mail in your blog, hydra? I'll e-mail it to you if you like.
hi there FM!!
Hello, FM!
how about "bacon-just do it!"
That would be like my guide to exercising, Haz! Yes please, do send me the pic!
I like that, Crossy
Okay, will do.
crossy, you don't like my suggestion then?
lol hydra Hi there Haz, peri, ((crossy)) hego et al.
Hi FMitch
Hi FM just looking at yor pic. Great!

Congrats hydra!
Well done, hydra! E-mail sent, by the way, hope the pic turns out okay.
yay for hydra
Hows the painting coming along Haz?
got the wy, ty Haz, looking for the other
Cangrats, Hydra
See you later. Just checked but no email yet so I'll let you know. Many thanks, Haz
It's nearly done, FM, just some awkward bits of skirting board left. The ceiling awaits....
got the we5, ty Haz
wow yo uare getting that done fast.
They're awkward in that fridges will have to be moved, but I'm going to pretend that the bits behind the washing machine don't matter. It's only woodstain so I can slap it on at speed, gloss paint would be a different matter!
bbl
What will you do once it is all finished, you have nothing left to decorate in the house! Mind you it will be time for the garden then :)
The upstairs bathroom could do with an overhaul....
TTFN peri
She'll find something.
Uh oh!
Anyway, the fridge shifter, aka the husband has arrived home - I'd better make some lunch for him to keep his strength up. Back later!
Bye Haz.
Bye Haz

mmm..have a few rashers of hickory smoked, maple kissed goodness in the pan
hi crossy! sounds delish
mmmm, can close my eyes and imagine I'm smelling it crossy
use to love waking to the smells of coffee and bacon - back in the days mother prepared breakfast before we went to school/work
I can smell it for real -- my husband burned his breakfast this morning :o)
father use to tell her, don't ask flossy what she wants for breakfast, just put it in front of her
ah, just monkeyed sa7 - speaking of food
does it relate to the sa4 above it?
just remembering back, when family was all home, there was mom in the kitchen, aproned and ready to prepare breakfast for everyone - a real June Cleaver
Morning, all. Criminy! Are we talking about bacon AGAIN??
phantom: sadist
it's always about bacon! lol - hi all
always Judi, when Crossy is here
ja 6 anyone..?
LOL! It's not just for breakfast, it's an obsession!
ja6, somewhat like the green semi precious stone.
i tried that last night... boooo
thank you lbd
finito! sparklies!
YAY, Dawg!
woot! yay dawg!
hi Judi, and ty.
wtg lbd
ty, ty, ty. that sa7 almost had me! whew!
jen, is that you, you're beautiful
awww, flosey, ty! You just made my morning. Especially since I just rolled out of bed and am slumped in front of the computer. :o)
lol, I don't want anyone to see me at this hour either
but my first stop is at the coffee machine
lol -- i'm not a coffee drinker, but it would probably help this morning
went to the farm this morning got a whole flat of x-large brown double yolkers..common over everyone;))
di 8 clue please
Oh yum, sounds too good to pass up crossy
Wow. What are they feeding those chickens?
colesterol bombs for all!
ah, but we'll undo it with a healthy salad for lunch
di8 - line thru a circle
new layers will always pump out double yolkers before they settle down judi,i ask them to let me know when they have new hens ogoing
wow -- learned something new about chickens today -- how often can you say that?
ty
g'morning lawyer and mudd
Ditto, Jen. Super hormonal hens!
hi, flo
can someone clue me on the w's?????? I am blind ..... shall I fish?
hubby's up, here comes my healthy breakfast - juicing apples, carrots, nettles, etc. etc. touch of lemon, gingerroot
i always thought doulbe yolks were lucky
we - soggy
well, if u r with the fish, u will be doing this in this condition - we5
i'm learning all sorts of things this morning -- what's the nutritional value of nettle juice?
wy4 - sounds like the lack of colour
ty flosey what about the other one?
nettles very good for you - but must be VERY careful picking them
we5 and we7 same beginning
we5 - covered with water
other we has a sort-of suffix
i got terrible nettle rash once - almost as bad as poison ivy and it lasted longer.
ty!
yes, it's awful, I fell into nettles once while picking blackberries
lol nettle?? that,s not eating, that,s grazing lol
lol makes me think of eeyore
that's what my friends call me!
nettles high in iron, good for liver cleanse
dandelion root too
*ptoooie*
ah, have never used the root, love the greens in salad
makes a nice tea and is supposed to cleanse the liver
nevermind the roots, but if you make a batch of dandelion wine, call me;)
How about some nettle infused vodka, Crossy?
three shots of tequilla will clear the liver out too
lol
*wonders how dirty her liver is, having never eaten dandelion or nettle*
con bacon
or tequila
when hubby had cancer for second time, he went on a very healthy diet, juicing was high on the menu
last time i had dandylion wine it tasted like...something you would take to the urologist. naxty!
i flush mine with 240 proof jen;)
lol
*ptooie again*
i've always heard that juicing is very good for you, but haven't tried it myself
after my third cancer,i went the other way and decided to eat what i like:))
I really have to buy a decent juicer. The blender makes good smoothies, but I don't like the seeds from the raspberries & strawberries.
lol, judi.
well, when the big C hits you a second time, you really take it seriously
lol im collecting the whole set flosey
not much left after you pulverize a raspberry
yes, you were there too crossy, weren't you
indeed..seminoma,lymphnoma and melenoma
Juicing is awesome 'cause you can cram all sorts of vitamins and minerals into one drink. Parsley is good for detox too. A little goes a long way though.
right Judi
I thought juicing was restricted to baseball players
I dislike washing the darn machine every morning but he's still with us so.........
Totally different juice, ruru (smartass).
sh 7 ?
a type of massage, ru
ty
hirgato
harigato
I still think sh*tter should be an acceptable word.
agreed
me, too, judi!
Sounds much more rugged than "outhouse".
WOO! Found the 8/9 combo on my own! sweet!
well done, kc
what kind of soup goes with a blt? any suggestions?
Tomato, minestrone...
Tomato?
going to go forage in the fridge and see what comes to mind for lunch. bbl
bye lb
any clues for the ts5 please?
T + s/4
thanks Judi
yvw, flosey.
hi all
and Fireworks, last word re5/12, second one
I was reading through the chat a bit, and have a question for flosey
ok?
flosey , what kind of cancer did / does your husband have?
Mine has dealt with lung cancer twice ... just curious
prostate
and it came back in same spot!
Wow ... that is a bit unusual, isn't it?
Did he have surgery of any kind?
makes one wonder, but was scarey at the time
yes had it removed first time - that's why it seemed strange to return same location
I know what you mean. I feel like I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Maybe the doctor didn't get all of the cells?
my grandma also had cancer in the same spot twice, which sucked because she's already had the mastectomy the first time
They must have missed a few cells the first time, flosey. Happens often enough.
My husband had 2 different kinds of cancers of the lung ... 2 different cell types.
don't really know mongie, first time was in Ontario, second time it was just after we moved to BC
Sorry for your grandma, PinnyPoppins.
that's ok - this happened over 20 years ago and she's still around
Wow ... good for her!
no op. second time but radiation! - every day for 6 weeks
Oh, sorry for your husband, flosey. Mine has never had any radiation or chemo.
flo, what was the 1st treatment?
first was removal
what was removed?
the radiation was really more awkward for us since it meant ferry over to Victoria every day
prostate removed lawyer
then C came back in same location 5 1/2 years later
if the prostate was removed, how does one get prostate cancer again?
beats me! but was in same location
I am asking because I had my prostate removed about 6 years ago
possibly, as one babbler suggested, some cells still remaining?
i go for the psa test regularly...with quite a bit of trepidation
Cancer cells are so insidious. I guess they can "hide out" for years.
yes lawyer, he does too
Have you had a PET scan, lawyer? (scans the whole body). Some cancer cells can travel throughout the body.
but that was over 10 years ago now so hopefully....
and, the 1st or 2nd year after the operation, the psa level was up a bit
scared the hell out of me
well, good luck lawyer, hope you never see it again
it did hubby too
no Judi, I did not
well, both of us actually
ty flo
My husband was "cancer-free" for 6 1/2 years, then another tumor showed up on a scan just last November. He has had both upper lung lobes removed, and we are afraid every time he has another scan scheduled.
understand mongie - always nervous just waiting for the results
Flosey, thanks for sharing. I hope all goes well with your husband.
That is odd, mongie. Is he a smoker? Or was he exposed to pcbs, asbestos, etc.?
Judi, he was a smoker, but quit one year before his first diagnosis.
His lung tissue also showed signs of asbestos exposure.
But, we are sure it was the smoking.
I suppose that combination would be a double whammy. Good to know they caught it both times.
how can u b so sure?
lawyer, if you would care to speak to hubby, I'll put email add. in bio
Lawyer .. I guess we can't be 100%, but sure seems highly likely. He smoked 1 1/2 - 2 packs a day, of camel non-filters for almost 30 years. His mother also had lung cancer (died years ago) and was a smoker.
Lawyer - I don't understand how a PSA level can be elevated if you've had your prostate removed.
I believe some people are genetically predisposed to cancer.
but that doesn't mean that it is necessarily in the family genes?
i appreciate that flo, but as of last year, my surgeon released me. I still do the follow-up psa tests and annual physicals, so I am as comfortable as 1 who has been thru it can be
Judi, happened with hubby
judi...just like i can't understand how flo's husband can get a reoccurrence of it in the same place after the prostate was removed
*scratches head* Must have something to do with testosterone.
also, hubby's first was over 15 years ago - lots of updates and new information available now
In Dover last week thee was the funeral of a man who wanted 'smoking killed me' on his coffin - he was 86!!!
Flosey .. I guess it speaks to the question of genetics or environment. But, I grew up with smoking parents, I smoked for 15 years, have brothers who are current smokers, and have never had a cancer incident.
good morning, all -- back for the 25 I didn't find last night
Hiya, Nan!
Morning cybernan
morning nan
well, I'm off for now, be back tonight, have a great day all
Bye flosey, thanks for the chat! Take care.
Hope you're knocking on wood, mongie.
Judi, I "knock on wood" all the time!
Btw, I quit smoking many years ago. :)
Enough cancer talk ! It's getting depressing in here.
Amen to that, Judi!
I have my typical 74 words left to find ... can't seem to get below that number on any given grid! Hmmm ....
I bow to those of you who regularly finish a grid.
i have 44 left and think it's time to list...
What do you mean think it's time to "list"?
Lickety's List, mongie. There's a link at the bottom of this page.
I am still trying to figure out all of the terms used here.
down to 23 and haven't listed yet, but they are getting harder to find!
time to refer to Lickety's list to see what words i'm missing and try and find them
Thanks.
any clues for the ja
It seems that when proper nouns come into common usage, they one day turn into common nouns -- on that basis I nominate royce for this grid.
ja 6, je 4,7,9 (all related)
*last 2 related
Jeesh. The m's are obnoxious today.
On Lickety's List ... to what does the heading "Total, On, and Off" refer? I have had some confusion trying to decipher that page.
Total: words left to find. On/Off - whether to show the clues or not.
total refers to # of word in grid, on refers to words guessed correctly, off - words yet to list
Thanks, Judi!
Welcome to the confusing world of Babble.
Thank you, too, bojazz!
Insanity and frustration will be your rewards.
Yes, Judi, it can be confusing!
yw - so much so
LOL
but with great company!!
Seems well worth staying for! lol
if you start with the premise that nothing makes sense here then everything will make sense
spoken like a la****
Well, insanity and frustration are no fun without a strong support group.
hey, Bo, who won the game last night?
Thanks for the tip, lawyer. :)
the Terps - mea culpa!!
oh, ye of little faith!

oh no, sorry
cos my sister's springer broke her leg in 5 places yesterday. and then a good friend's dog had to put down last night :(:(
oh, that's terrible
how did the dog break her leg? car?
hell how did Willdow do that? and soo sorry to hear about friends dog too :((
silly Willow!
That is some break how did she do that?? Couldnt you just give people that say its only a dog a good slapping??
she was in the garden and a propped up paving slab fell down over her leg
she broke all her toes on that leg, and broke it further up too
ow ow ow, whats the prognosis?
Poor old girl |I bet she will hate being kept qiet
hi all. Sorry about your doggie niece , Ata
is she biting the cast?
hello hego
fine, luckily! She's 13, so they didn't want to spend the time and effort to pin it all back together. So they've plastered it and are letting it heal. The vet says it probably won't heal *perfectly*, but any pain from it will be outdone by her arthritis anyway, so it'll be fine
Hir Ruby
Hi again helo, am loving your bright poppy icon.
Hi even
tx FM
what about us hirs?
Hugs to Willow and C
:-)
OK folks I am going to think about supper now. Bye all see you tomorrow
she's not biting the cast - yet!!
bye deeha
Bye Deeha, mine will be ready soon too.
and then poor Caleb! friend took him into the vet cos he wasn't eating, and he never came out again!
what was wrong with him
Oh, dear
they found out he had a tumour the size of a melon in his stomach, and as he was 13 too, doing anything else would have been cruel
Oh dear, what a day :(
vet said he'd maybe manage another day or two, maybe a week, but in pain :(
that is so sad!
I know! I was meant to go out today, but I just had to stay in and be with Hobbit!
poor pup
don't blame you, give her a big hug from me.
oh, we are back to blaming FM for stuff today, right?
and from me, too
she cuddled up to me all night so tightly I could hardly breathe!
of course, Eva
lol EvaN and hello to you too ;)
I think about Ruby's mortality every day. Chows don't live past 10 or 11, so it's a real concern to me
our internet here at work is misbehaving... so i was going to blame it on you -- and THANK you for it. ;)
awful, isn't it? and as Deeha said, I hate ppl who look at you pitingly and say it's just a dog
that's when you tell your dog to bite!
no compassion
heh heh!
that works until you have a spaniel!
they just don't get it
but it isn't "just a dog". It's your friend and companion and much more.
Oh Ata another Chinook flew over today, aparently they fly out of RAF Odiham quite a bit on low level training as fas as I can gather.
exactly! *we* understand :D
even stinky ones like mine!
yup!
Odiham! well well. at least it's Chinooks and not fast jets
and another airbase but can't remember the name right now.
I do like chinooks
me too and they ahve such an unmistakable sound when flying. Did you see that a benefactor has donated £500k to the vulcan so it can keep flying for another season?
oops brb aforementioned spaniel wants her dinner
oh really?! YAY!!!!
meant to tell youthat the other ay.
see you tomorrow
nite Ruby
Oh and the timer is going off for my dinner too TTFN all
bye
heard the funniest line ever from the mom of one of the girls on my dance team: after we performed last weekend, she asked her daughter who "the light skinned girl" was -- she thought i was black! (im the only white girl on the team) i took that as a huge compliment to my hip-hop dancing ability!
Oh, Eva. Too funny
And so wrong in a way. lol
that says a lot about your dancing, eva
we actually have a joke between me + my friend cherise that theres one white girl on the team + its not me -- i always have to help her get the hip-hop moves...hehe
Did we wke you, Ruby?
there. everyone fed adn watered and a glass of water for me
I was lurking, looking for more words, very poor performance today. really tired
water? LMAO! WINE!
Much better ata!
turning water into wine now, ata?
we had a fine Italian lunch in Lausanne with wonderful grappa, my favorite beverage!
If anyone can do it Eva. ;-)
I should be smug about that LOL
Ooo Ruby.
it's a long way to go, but our ophthalmologist is there
lmao also Ata.
sounds nice. aday out Ruby
evening everyone
Hi Katie
hi katie
now, really good night
hi katiekins!
back from an entertaining drive in 'smiley' car
yay smiley car!
It got a pat on the bonnet for being so good, I only stalled twice which in 130 miles I thought was quite good!
very good!
were the cats keeping their beady eyes on Christine?
Hello...
I think they were hiding on the beds lol
LOL
hi Jellen
Hi Jellen
hi Jellen!
What's a smiley car?
one that doesn't try to eat you
One that doesn't lock me in with the alarm going for 40 minutes. My normal car will hence forth be known as Christine the mean car
:-)
Ahh...lol...oh, that must have been terrible!
I have 'smiley' the hire car until Christine gets a check at the garage on Monday and a guarantee that it won't happen again
unfortunately smiley is manual and Christine is automatic so a long drive today was interesting. Smiley also has a much bigger engine so I pulled off at some lights like a boy racer
Is she named for the stephen king car?
Oh yes hego
katie, do you ever get utterly confused with local laws, national laws, EU laws, national guidelines, local guidelines and which is most important??
good name, then
yes but when I did law of the built environment it was drilled in to us that EU law always won over UK law
along with sue the one with the money lol
even if EU law goes against (for whatever reason) local wishes / local laws?
all these layers of statutory and non-statutory stuff is doing my head in completely!
Good advice...deep pocket principle, isn't it?
yes unless the local law goes above the standards required in EU law. The easiest way to remember it is that the courts go. District, Crown, Appeal, High, and the EU with EU being at the top
this is why the argument against being in Europe means that our law doesn't apply.
that makes sense. *nods slowly*. sorry to fling a work question at you!
The thing you have to be careful on is when things are actually guidance and when it is law. Sometimes there is a period of grace for European law to be enacted so it is not necessarily applicable from the date the bill is passed, there is an effective date. This helps all countries to enact it when they are able to.
I think that's where I get confused. eg Severn estuary (yes, I'm on to estuaries now). There's the local planning laws, national estuary advice (ha!), Glos estuary advice that isn't law, and then the Severn Management Plan that isn't law. That sits *somewhere* in the middle.
the only one of those that is law is the planning laws unless the others are backed by an act of parliament OR are local bye laws. However environmental protection laws will apply
sorry to interrupt...but I'm down to two and stuck. need clues for ts and second te5-10...=)
I can't quite get my head around spending $$ on making estuary guidelines / management plans with no statutory position. Can't anyone turn round adn ignore the things?

bye to no one in particular - *sorry*
hi, all. I have spoken with my daughter today and she is home. She told me what happened that led to her arrest on drug charges, and I believe her completely (which was not the case in the past at all). I am no longer angry at her at all. She said she was stopped for a faulty headlight, the office checked her name in his computer system and found out about her history of drug issues. He then told her he would turn drug sniffing dogs on her car. She admitted having some Vicodin for which she did not have a prescription bottle (although she does indeed have a prescription for the medication) and the officer "tore up" her car inside, and found an old syringe "from a long time ago" that was buried deep inside the console of the car.
i am so sorry to hear this angel. I hope your daughter is able to get an attorney to help her.
Is your daughter in Texas too?
she is working on getting an attorney now. she does live in Texas, yes
I do not believe she was or is using any illicit drugs.
I might could refer her to someone (I grew up in Texas and went to UH Law School) -- where in Texas is she?
if you want of course -- needed fell compelled
*neddn't
sigh *needn't
she lives in Austin; incident was in Williamson county, to the north of Austin.
brb
Williamson County has a zero tolerance policy, but this situation feels to me like some officer with a quota to fill who took her history and ran with it.
i understand. the fact that he had to tear up the car to find the syringe tells against him
she told me she had no idea the syringe was present. she said she was not drug tested upon her arrest/incarceration, but that if she had been tested, she would have tested clean.
i sent an email to friends of mine and will get back to you. you can email me at jmcnrick at yahoo.com to give me your email address and i will email the info to you directly so we don't have to run into each other on the chog
if she is not locked up she should go get drug tested at a hospital asap -- if she is locked up she should ask to be drug tested
hi Angel ... at least Will Co judges are more fair than their police force
he had a lot of nerve tearing up her car with no real probable cause
jmc, e mail has been sent to you.
hi wild
hi
she said she was honest with him because she was trying to avoid trouble.
she was released this morning.
she was in jail five days
then tell her to get to a hospital and take a drug test!
~ Firewords ~
ooh 5 days -- too late -- i would do it anyway since some drug tox last that long
whooo hooo mel

I'll be back shortly...time to start dinner... chicken tonight, with pinto beans flavored with jalopeno.
my Smiley car is doing 32 miles per gallon, Christine usually gets 45 miles to a gallon, nearly had a heart attack when I realised.
I can go 400 miles on a tank in Christine, goodness knows how long in Smiley
lol i drive a toyota echo,,45 mpg on average
im surprised you can get that milage in a 57 plymouth fury ;)
Christine is a honda civic hybrid, Smiley is a 1.8 astra
She is the reincarnation of a 57 plymouth fury dressed up as an eco friendly nice car

Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! YAY!
howdy min and welcome to the grid;0
Hi Min, good thanks just checking my route for tomorrow
ata are you there I have a stupid camera question to ask
E's Eliminated! 9 left
go Min!! I have 57 left and have just about given up
hey min!
I have a stupid camera
whats wrong with your camera?
I have a digital SLR and take pictures on auto (getting up the courage to use it properly) and my pictures are flashing as overexposed on the screen (although they look OK on the computer) I wondered what I should change to stop it. I don't have a uv filter yet I am getting one at the weekend
nothing i just thought i might be able to answer stupid camera questions
I think my camera is very intelligent unfortunately it's user is not
... and Fireworks!
what digital cameras do is take all the lighting information and average it
whoo hooo merks
well, first off, Don't necesarially trust your monitor. Use a site like this one to calibrate your brightness: http://www.tranquilityimages.com/calib rate.shtml
congrats Merk
I have a digital SLR and use it on auto, bt don't usually have this problem. And the user is not so brilliant
getting your monitor set as accurate as possible will really help you and your pictures. In a former life, I worked at a photo lab, and I can't tell you how often people were disappointed with their pictures because they looked ok on their home computer. I would ask them if they adjusted their monitor, and every once in a while they would actually say "Yes. My picture was too dark/light so I adjusted it to look good on my computer. Why doesn't the picture look like my monitor?"
the problem is on the screen of the camera which is probably the one which is correct
do you happen to have any pictures online that had this problem, katie, that I might be able to look at? I might be able to give you some tips.
yes ad no... it will be truer, but also the screen of the camera is often going to look a little brighter, due to the way that the screens are lit. It's not usually that different though
Hey, y'all...
hey jellen
just been on to Nikon site and they think I should be using active D lighting and it is the contrast of lights that is causing the problem. seemingly I can do this on the camera.
there you go then. :)

ts 5 is a righteous person (Hebrew)
Hi, Kaplan
Hiyas Kap
Hello
8 left
hi kaplan
I have 38 left- too many to do. I have to go to a two day conference- 14 hours of lectures and power points. Ugh- powerpoints. No Babble. I don't have an i-phone so can't play surreptitiously
I usually bring a drawing pad, but being a big auditorium with people facing front, it is not very interesting drawing the backs of people's heads
No working out till Sunday, and it will be 50 degrees Saturday. No windows in lecture hall.
Why am I not excited?
It's a yearly duty like a really dry religious holiday.
Poor Kaplan...
Yah, whine whine whine
I've been fortunate in my professions...I really enjoyed most conference presentations...
Actually, it will be good- just loooong
Conferences are exhausting, I agree...
no babbling
What is yr profession?
Currently, I'm on the verge of being an antique/collectible dealer...it's in the hobby phase now...
But I've been a public librarian, school librarian, and bookseller...
That is cool. We have a houseful of antique radios and stuff- it was a mania, but I'm mostly over it
I am in a paring down mode but no one in the family wants to de-clutter with me
I have to go eat
dinner
See you later...
Bookseller! That would be wonderful
Bye
Owning my own store was a pain...

Hi Kaplan
Hi Kaplan
Hello Jayk! How are you doing? Welcome to the puzzle
guess I've made my point!
Hi Min--actually finished before dawn today. Not usually here at this hour, but had to tease Kaplan for his stunning performance a day or so ago
Congratulations on finishing early Jayk! Good for you
Plus I'm a Vermonter
I used to be a Vermonter too. Now I'm a New Yorker.
DID you? which town?
Hi. jay how come your profile says you're from Atlanta? I live in Vermont.
Grew up in a TINY town called South Strafford,VT. It is near Hanover, New Hampshire. Also near Sharon.
Because, sadly, I now live in Atlanta. But my heart/home is VT
Hello Eva! How are you doing? Welcome to the puzzle
where? I live in Calais.
I know South Strafford very well. For many years I lived in South Ryegate
I've NEVER heard of Calais, Vermont Eva. Where is it
Hi Minver...was here this morning, and stupidly thought I might be able to finish tonight, but no such luck.
Calais!!?? We're probably related. Dear God--you may besomeone I know
Just about 15 minutes from Montpelier.
Icon I have for today is the Vermont state flag Eva.
MERP!!!!
Or maybe we were separated at birth? But I actually grew up in New York City so MInver and I switched places.
wildcat!!!
Eva--do you know Marianne and Gus? Lisa and Wally?
EVA!!!!
Hi wildcat17! How are you doing?Welcome to the grid
Can't think of any people I know by those names.
where do live in Calais?
God I still think of the kittens you kitties could have made together....
how old are you Eva?
that is if wildcat and Merp had mated.
60
black and white ... would've been beautiful
well, then, damn. we MUST know a lot of people in common
But, as I said, I'm a "flat lander", just moved here a bit over 5 years ago. From Boston and Western Massachusetts.
Do you know anyone in Adamant?
ilotulitusvälineitä!!!
Ah. A flatlander. Well, maybe that explains it. who are your neighbors?

Yes to Adamant.

Hi lawyer-1! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid
Congratulations lawyer-1 on fireworks! Good for you
cute, lawyer. isn't it about time you went pro?
ty, min
How do you say I am finished in Finnish lawyer-1?LOL
yw
I'd prefer not to get more specific with individual names on this forum....I know that may be overly cautious, but....so did you live around here?
JK, it's a matter of principal....I joined when ther was no pro and I saw no reason to change
Better to be safe than sorry when meeting old or new friends on chat. Great people but this world seems to be not as nice as Babble Land.
Yes--many years in Plainfield and then in North Monpelier and finally on Cross St in Montpelier. God, how I mis it!!
and, if it's not a matter of principal, it's a matter of principle!
Mud season has begun....jay, when you feel homesick just think of that. Did you happen to know Andy Potok?
LOL lawyer-1!
finished awhile ago... gotta run. Bye Eva! Pats Merp. Bye everyone!
OF COURSE I knew Andy and Charlotte. Oh God I'm gonna cry
hi, babblers
*passes out the kleenex*
Plus I liked Mud Season because it was the beginning of the end.
Don't cry....Andy is a good friend. I read to him every week.
and, to answer ur question, Min, it's Olen valmis
OH MY GOD. what a mall world
Wellki, hi. Time for me to wander off in search of dinner. Old home week is alive and well. Thank goodness.
May I please have a clue for he8-45? Thanks
Also think of black flies. That will make you stop crying.

<-- spent some time in Jamaica, Vermont (and Jamaica, New York) years ago
luv.
he-8 he who 88888888s is lost
Hello welki! How are you doing?Welcome to the puzzle

did you get the re4.4, dix?
no....
and you should. VT is realy God's country
really
re + coffee, **a or milk
now do you have the first re5.12 or the last one?
when i was a young adult, a bunch of friends and i would rent a house every winter in vermont
everyone is invited for this year's Black Fly Festival. VT is a phenomenal place, but not for the faint hearted - there are about 4 months during which there is no place on earth more beautiful, then severe sun deprivation, cold and insects. But the sense of community and the eccentricity is definitely worth it for me.
well, not every winter .. 3, i think *prone to exaggeration*
ok got re4 and re5/12....how can i tell if its the first or second re5 though?
not the same thing, though, welki, as living there. Amen to what Eva just said
lol welki, you? exaggerate?
i know it's hard for you to fathom, dawg ... but try
jay are you sleep typing?
look at it alphabetically. does it come before or after the re4?
before
Time for me to go to bed too. Woke up at 5. See you all tomorrow.
just hard to drag myself away. actually poofing now tho
ok the last re5.12 add a consonant to the re4.4
night, jayk, night, Eva

Surgery Saved my life. Or in some cases not. I just saw this woman (that was pixulated) involved in a boating accident and the trauma surgeon saying ''Sometimes you juts got to know when to let it go and no matter what you do you can't save everyone''
...she heard him and lived to say so?
hard job that
smart surgeon, IMHO
O no she didn't live. She did die and they did show it. It was done with great respect. They knew that they could do all the intervention in the world like cpr and such but it would not make a difference. You actually get to see her heart rate on a monitor beating at 34 beats a minute then the surgeon says ''she is dying we can't do anything at all '' and then nothing. It was one of those ''wow'' even though it is a real life show it was very real life
*waiting on pins and needles to hear answer to pini's question*
Goodness...they showed it?

how sad i don't think i could watch that

Hi, Une and jilli!
good evening, jilli
oh i never read that --
hey, jilli, lynxxx, jellen, jmc, pini!
i should put it on my list -- do you know if it is downloadable?
HI UNE!!!!
(thought I didn't see you didn't you?)
who has a huge picture posted? The chat is jerky.
It is as an audiobook, I know...read by Stephen Fry...
it's fun, and they may be downloadable by now
it's a 5-book trilogy, the 1st three are worth reading definitely
jilli, somebody had a giant dog pic
* I confess, it was me *
AHA!! LOL
but it is gone would it stilleffect the chog?
my son likes it a lot
but it's gone now, then, pini?
I promise I won't do it again!
aaawww, pini, what a sweet pic!!
it's a pretty puppy
* grin * thanks :)
Yeeeaaaahhh . . . . If you could just go ahead and doooo that, that would be greeaat . . .M'kay? Thaaanks ..

dc, that link is evil, lol!
i think it does :)
uh oh...might have to fix that!
brb
That rabbit's got a mean streak a mile wide!
no dc 's link does pini
and btw, dc -- the Favourite Blue theme was partly your suggestion, so where's yours?
* sigh of relief *
HI OSGMA

I think I'll stay with "cute"
ts5?

ts + commercial + personal pronoun
thx jellen
don't know that I've ever come across that one before
oh, that's beautiful, dc!
Question -- if I clear my cache won't I lose stuff I need like some cookies?
great...I finally get here and koda needs a "break"
brb
c'est meilleur, chere jilli?
indeed you will, jilli
back
mais oui, cher dc ;)
am i blue am i blue are these tears in these eyes telling you
i'd seen enough bluish stuff i'd been wondering if that were the theme
i do like the colour themes - they bring a nice unity to the chog
atalante was the other suggester and chose a lovely Wedgwood blue
it is a veritable sea of blue now
nice!
Every day, every day ..Every day I have the blues ..

Jill what did you do? HI Une
I have a bit of RA, nef -- also over-used it yesterday trying to get a screw into an oak tree -- my electric screwdriver conked out
Love your icon Unea!
just remember nef just because you start a grid doesn't mean you have to finish
O and then there is the fun task of bathing a kitty and blow drying her
Had to use both hands on a regular screwdriver -- oaks are tough!
Ouchie Jill
why were you screwing a tree? (someone had to ask)
tx for beating me to it, jmc! LOL
sl please?
lol -- replacing a halyard (?) for a rope attached to a bird feeder
Go Jill
