This year they picked a mystery, which I don't usually read, but this one was GREAT! It's called "Dog On It" by Spencer Quinn. It's about a detective and his dog, and the story is told from the dog's point of view....
I highly, highly recommend it for all my dog-loving friends. the author is hilarious, and completely writes what I am sure our dogs would say....

thanks - she was also accepted recently to the NH Institute of Art as one of 60 kids around the state to participate in an art festival this May. It is a huge deal and a great honor - She had to do a big project and go through an interview process - good practice for college
