Depending on whether Lickety is available at the time, he does seem to use it to speed up.

Much of our daily work = educating parents.
I think too, so many young kids these days cant ask their parents for help.

She is lucky. Kids with meningitis are SO sick--lethargic, very irritable---they look and act sick.
Its so hard with illnesses - hard to diagnose and then treat with such small children. They do make great very small hearing aids now - worth looking into if there is a recognizable loss
to top it off...she got sick again 24 months later (almost to the day) with Guilliam-Barre Syndrome...
