I'm back!
welcome back MP
Good to be home but we had a whooping good time in Mexico and California!
welcome back
Two weeks without babble...now that's a tuff row to hoe! (I think that's the saying?)
wow... surprised you survived!
Hi MPitt!
My mom and I went and we just had a great time...
Hi Jilli....
We visited the site where my brother used to live in Jamul, CA...it was destroyed by the Harris fire in 2007 and although that was sad I retrieved a porcelain duck they bought and three fancy solar lights
sweet
did your brother lose everything MP
ok iam at halfway mark...off to turn off roast and watch flick...yep it's late, but tomorrow'll be a good day fer sher
goodnight Pav
Well it was strange...he and his girlfriend just broke up and he had moved to Hemet, CA with our mom he had left some things there...the house and it's contents were a total lost she escaped with a car and two dogs, three horses were fortunately being boarded elsewhere (Poway) and not much else...I hand carried the two items on the plane to give to him....I am sure he will be surprised I found anything...just the meandering stone walkway from the garage up to their deck which they had just completed and was inlaid with beautiful colored stones and glass set in the concrete grout...and the fence and shelter he built for their little shetland pony (Charlie Horse) was left untouched....
very sad story mp... so he never rebuilt?
must have been sad seeing it MP, but fortunate that his (former) girlfriend got away with the dogs and the horses were safe
beautiful icon picture
oh yes, MP -- hadn't seen your icon (had to click on it) -- gorgeous!
No he lived with his girlfriend in her house for several years...she couldn't get fire insurance even though he kept clearing more and more of the land even beyond their property lines as required by ins. co.....she still owes the mortgage, property taxes, and California for the fire clean up....we can't locate her but believe she went to live with her brother in Missouri...she will not respond to any attempts to contact her.
Oh, that's terrible!
Yes Jilli...our ship was tendered right in front of this gorgeous sight....we were so lucky!
can't imagine having to pay California for fire clean-up -
how tragic... had no clue getting insurance there was so impossible... makes my heart hurt ...
poor girl, what a debt
govt bails out unworthy... this just doesn't seem right
over halfway...
Yes that surprised me also...I met two Dept of Agriculture employees on the site looking for a citrus bug of some type and the woman was picking the freesias that were blooming in the garden...she apologized but I told her I was actually happy to see someone finding something beautiful in the site that had caused so much pain for it's owner. It was like a baby being born to a family that has just experienced a death...a renewal!
just monkeyed our and 5, new to me
our and 5?
a good renewal!
oops, meant ou4 and 5, sorry,
finger just didn't reach high enough!
good monkeying, flosey -- any hints?
guess it sounds like f
I sure hope his girlfriend can get everything sorted out
f?
ou + sounds like f
ah, thanks, flosey
or, call me on the **one
Yes she had just sold her business (Healing Point, acupuncture, holistic medicine etc.) and retired and had brought home very expensive chinese herbs etc..and antiques...it was a beautiful view of the Mountains and we could see the lights of Tecate Mexico at night...but there were mountain critters including lions, tarantulas, scorpions, rattlers, etc. but you learn to avoid them...fire ins. and flood ins. is hard to get in many areas of Calif.
I had no clue about the insurance issues; I guess with all of their fires, floods, and mud slides, it does make some sense... you would think the govt. would have an insurance option in that case
I see there's not def for the ou4, but the 5 is a fairy
interesting, thanks, ou5 doesn't sound as dainty as fairy
Maybe the next bill to work on after Health Care Ins. should be Property Ins....after all it is often the greatest portion of a persons wealth and one of the greatest needs..shelter!
fireworks... weird up words
it's also a goblin -- sounds more like that ;)
YAY dee!!!
wtg Dee
at least for extreme cases
yes, that sounds more apt
hope you all have a great day / eve!!! *poofing with hugs* hope everything works our for your family mp
night dee!
goodnight Dee
nite flosey, jili... hugs to you both
well....155 left...just piddling around the grid...a little jet lag I guess...night dee and thanks they have both moved on so life goes on....
Things can always be worse...you just have to look around to realize that....my dad used to say "I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man that had no feet"...tis true!
very true, MP
42 left, I'm off to bed, goodnight all
I think I'm ready to poof myself...see you all tomorrow...may you dream pleasant dreams! Poofy!
I think I'm ready to poof myself...see you all tomorrow...may you dream pleasant dreams! Poofy!

My b.f just found a web archiving site
oh nice
Very nice considering I badly needed a now defunct web page
woot! another score for bf
I didn't know you could do that
do what, rubyfoo?
It is one of the offical websites for the secret. It is an amazing 2 tiered system. Every friend I sign up I get $500 YAH> See wonderful pyrimad scheme example
find a lost file that way!
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php
sounds like personalized research, herin!
am never too keen on pyramid schemes
dangerous!
It is what I need as i need to create an advert that is real and believable and OMGosh you have to have it now
"before time runs out"
sounds like about the best example you could have
I had to have a real example
*decide now and get this unique bonus! One-time opportunity!*
or the dreaded poopy virus will invade your system!
do you need it for your study, lady?
lol
Yes. I need to create a fake advert.
thought so. Beautiful example!
woot found a 7

terra loves biting the flowers off when they wiggle in the wind...
I try, jilli! If fate would work with me for a bit, it would be easier, grin.
Ruby used to dig up the bulbs when she was a puppy, but she stopped, fortunately
terra must be part deer

he is! He even jumps like one.
oops, PB for me
hot milk in the pb for good sleep
so before I get in any more trouble I'll depart -- my icon is a clue, btw

OH my!!! Nothing royal about moi! But thanks!

wb again
he is out sweeping the driveway because it is covered with sunflower seed husks from our resident birds which he feeds all day
aw cute
I noticed yesterday that many of the seeds had germinated, so I'm going to plant a bunch of them in the bottom of the garden
sunflowers always make me smile
he has many birds that he feeds all winter, a nice hobby, and also a little fish pond which he tends with ordinary goldfish, many of which are now over a foot long. They started out as inch-long "feeders"
lovely hobby
yes, anything that keeps him outdoors is good!
lol
this is a nice grid, lots to be built from the et4/6
oh yes. 2/3 found, most of the biggies, and still going. Much easier than yesterday's.
I wouldn't call it easy, still not at half, but it's fun anyway
I found the 9 on my own, but not the 8!
and jilli ate the last banana, so no monkeys!
*lures monkeys with peanuts*
same here rubyfoo, 8 still to be found.
good idea
yesterday's was a bear!
Have to share : http://tinyurl.com/ygge44w
I loved yesterday's, but it took a lot of time. And I had to use the list for the last 14.
oh lady that is soooo sweet!
I just love the kitties face
how do you do that while still in babble?
what? that is a tiny url go to a new page
I open a new browser window
we are darn close to recuperate today. How is that for a phantom?
I found it, but it closed babble. I seem to be incapable of opening two things at once; that's why I don't list!
can't you open 2 browsers?
Hi all, hi ruby. If you go to the file menu at the top of your browser, it should have the option Open New Window, or Open New Tab. I always just open a new tab.
*blushing* I don't know how. Fortunately, my son, the expert, is coming in May and will show me what I need to do
hi Sally
pe h
hello sally
are you on a windows machine?
lol, busted, marigold
the problem is that all the instructions in windows are in French...
hi marigold
can you change it to english?
Do you have A list of menus along the top of your browser window?
rubyfoo, do you have an Internet Explorer icon on your desktop?
lol, ok, too many questions, I think. I will be quiet.
hah, I just found something under "fichier" which said "nouvel onglet" That may be it. I'll try it later. Thank you, ladies, for trying tohelp this dinosaur!
That will be the one, ruby. If you look it should show the short cut to it, which I would normally use. On a windows machine, it might be Alt N or Alt T.
that is very helpful! ty ty
I never looked at that before
hot keys rock
how did you all learn all that stuff?
trying, reading and never being afraid to play
I would say that I started late, but there are many other "mature" women on here who are all more adept than I!
I guess that onglet might be tab, having just tried to look up the translation! On my firefox, I can have lots of tabs all open at once and just click between them. I can also have separate windows open which I do if I use lickety, just have a narrow window to one side.
I guess I'm a little intimidated by the computer itself
perhaps, by dusk, I'll be able to use a list!
yup, and same can be done with internet explorer nowadays.
It's only a machine ruby, man-made at that. No need to be afraid of it!!
actually, as long as you don't change important settings, nothing much can go wrong. If somehow you get really stuck, just reboot the machine and start again.
I have a Mac, so can't use lickety expert, but I can do as good as. If I use lickety and it's a huge grid that's the only way to keep track. I have a doc on my desktop and I paste the printable lickety clues in that, keep it narrow and to one side of my browser window, then as I go down the list I can either just scroll down or delete the sections I have done. Makes it much easier. Sounds complicated but isn't.
I am always afraid of losing my files; my son gave me a big lecture on Sunday about getting an external harddrive and backing up what is important to me
and if you like you could download the Lickety browser for babble, the Babble Expert. It will give you the list at the side in the same window/tab.
He's right. I do an automatic back-up every night.
onto an external drive?
but you don't lose files because of stuff you do (unless you like, open bad emails or go to bad websites with viruses), you lose files because of random stuff going wrong.
backing up is essential. And totally easy, especially if you are only concerned about files. Just copy them to an external disk. They come plug-and-play, you will see it is easy.
I have 11 years of letters on here which are like a journal of my life and the lives of my friends
Yes onto an external drive. There's no point in backing up onto your normal hard drive because if that goes pear-shaped, you've lost your backup as well. I use an automatic program, there are lots out there.
burn them onto a CD and make a backup on an external drive. Text files are very small.
ok, that's my next project! now if I would just get moving....lol
Well you could at least copy them onto a memory stick which is the easiest thing of all.
i think a lot of older people remember only too well when that was not the case, and have never adjusted to the fact that these things are much more idiot proof now. sure, in DOS days, you could really screw up your machine by making a mistake, but now?
one thing at a time, rubyfoo, at least that is what works best for me. We can always do one step :)
lol, yes I used to use DOS! and remember writing stuff in BASIC for my son. Showing my age now.
lol yes hursh, I remember the DOS days! AND the mess I could make with it.
i used to write stuff in BASIC too and i'm not old :)
but actually, that was a nice language to start learning in. It was logical and rather easy.
But you know I think it was a good background, because at least I understand what is happening and how the machine works (a bit). A lot of people now can only understand if it has a prett picture!
exactly Sally
But like you sprite, I have never been afraid to experiement and do a "what happens if I do that?". It's the only way to learn.
yup and it is fun that way
hello, phone, but now I'm back. I'm going to byuy the external hard drive and back up my files. Then I can rest easy
and alf!
good decision :)
half* duh
Sally I love your cat
It's worth learning the short cuts ruby. Have a look in your help files, or google Windows short cuts, and print out the list and keep it. There are some I use just all the time without thinking. I am lucky I can touch type, and it's far quicker for me to use a short cut than the mouse.
ty herin, she's a sweety. Curled up beside me now.
aww
remember display write? Only had hot keys and no visible menu.
talking about dinosaurs, lol
awww you should see this the kitty has just demanded someone play with him
no, don't remember that one. Trying to remember what I used in earnest after son's Sinclair Spectrum. Had a green screen, I remember that.
too funny, I missed all that, was busy typing away
I believe the time has come that no one will get Run Dos Run
word perfect mybe?
hahah
lol lady, indeed.
yes, that's it sprite, think so.
word perfect is where ai started, but only used it for typing letters and invoices when I was working
time to start lunch. Thank you for all your suggestions, everybody
see you later
see you later, but probably time for me to go and do some gardening now.
I have even used a Wang machine, that was already prehistoric when I started but we had a client who wanted us to use it. It had 'floppy disks' the size of music albums (the black ones!)
bye rubyfoo and Sally
not quite gone yet sprite. Want to get to half way.
I finally found my last E, darn word!
here is the def, lolllll: a suspended batten or plate of wood or brass pierced with holes through which the cords of a crowfoot are rove to suspend an awning
what are the stats on it, sprite?
eu7/40
ty, thinking
those C words are driving me nuts
I had to resort to a2z to find it. And now I see it comes from a dutch word! Amazing things one learns in babble.
thank goodness no more c words
yay lady
Ah! It's an alt spelling of the up 6/27, which I had to monkey.
oh, and it has an U alt spelling
lol, great minds...
lol, just got an fo 4 which is a fish, and considering that's all we talk about in the chog ...
in the 'old' days, every grid had a fish in it. We had fun spotting it. Now we only slap eachother with them ;)
fireflies!
well done sprite!
good grid and good company. Thanks all :) Have a great day and/or pleasant night.
must be off for a while. Hope to be back later.
loves Sprite
hi all

ty how are things with you lynxxx
Good, SIL is down from Queensland for quick visit so will be an entertaining weekend. She is an amazing woman and a wealth of good stories
what are her stories about? just life or a particular aspect?
She does a lot of work with developing nations in Asia Pacific - spec interest in new Guinea and surrounds. Works for UN etc. particular interest in working with women developing skills
how interesting and what good work!
sometimes i wish i did more concrete work
good morning all, gray and rainy here
I am hoping I can talk my daughter into going to NG with her for at least a month. Would be good for her in sooo many ways. 25 yo with pass. interest (and qualifications) in photography but can't get her arse into gear. Being with her Aunt would be inspiring for her I am sure - and look good on CV too
help with the u please, I see iin the chog that ther is a up 6 uut can't find it
Hi Peri
what is NG?
hi peri
New Guinea
ok
it is the same as the eu7
wow what an experience that would be
I don't thave the eu7
my son had great time in Guatemala doing simiplar things -- never regreted it
that would be really great if she did it
I know! even though it is very close to Aust it is not a common destination for tourists of any description, even Australians
hmm up+ ET ***n* home with a hook letter in the middle
start with that while i think up a better clue
up+a garden digger with a hook letter in the middle
or ends in fish eggs
much better lynxx! lol

ack on that note i am going to go do a tax return where i know what i am doing! lol
nbt
TY jmc, didn't have it either

Good morning Babble buddies. How is everyone? How is the grid?
hi Scrabbs, it is not being nice to me
How many left for you?
not even half way - been back and forth a lot though
I do see a strange set-up of letters now.
I found it much easier than yesterdays grid.
Hi Bubba! How have you been?
hi Bubba!
Good. Busy and hassled as usual
Hi Lynxxx
Off today or in office or in OR?
Office this AM, and Clinic this afternoon. OR Tuesday, WEdnesday and Thursday
No days off other than some weekends?
Do you have a specialty or special focus, Bubba?
Usually only work Fri AM in the office so off, after that, only clininc oncew a month or so. But I am a believer in vacations to recharge and renew
help with the up6,24 please?
Lower extremity orhtopedics
Oh, yes, vacations are crucial, but so many docs are workaholics--entire identity = MD.
up6 up + ripped apart
u & 2 letters making f sound & fish eggs
i have that one, need the 6,24
taking back my wrong clue - sorry
TY Bubba
that's okay maybe someone else needed it
Not me, I work, but I like to take my time when I can.
Aha. My 16 yr old nephew is healing from fx of tibial tubercle/growth plate when pushing off to do lay-up in basketball. Screw was removed due to persistent pain. MRI = nl. Concern of complex regional pain syndrome now.
TY for that up6--odd word
Now I am looking for the one that you clued, Lynxxx.
CRPS is so hard to diagnose, except of course for lawyers, who see it everywhere. A good pain management person should look him over and decide without preconceived notions as to the cause of the pain.
re
ty bubba
And, of course, there is the issue of secondary gain for a teenager, which is my suspicion. There is concern though by 2nd opinion NS consult that the peroneal nerve may be compressed by scar tissue. EMG showed peroneal nerve impairment.
I'd better get going, bye all
Bye Lynxxx...bedtime?
Very difficult when there is nerve entrapment. Is it a neuropraxi or is it something more permeanent like a axontomesis or neurotomesis?
Pain is major issue, and hyperesthesia of skin.
He is on Lyrica and if no improvement in 2 mo---> surgery to explore area around the peroneal nerve.
Targeted nerve blocks areeven an epidural-type injection may help to locate and differentiate the diagnosis.
Does the MR demonstrate any thickening or scarring around the nerve?
Topical lidocaine patch helped. Difficulty is a kid that hates school, wants to skip school, get attention, whine, complain, etc.
Hard to say in kids, they thought my daughters headaches were duee to disloke of scholl, until they found out theat she had neurological Lyme disease, IV Rochephan was curative
MRI was nl but EMG showed problem with peroneal nerve. He is seeing ortho, phys med MD and now NS.
Yes, even dramatic, whining teens/patients can have a real disease.
Did he get any injections of local with steroid around the areaa of pain, to see if the inflammatory respondse can be quieted
TY for input, Bubba. Sorry to take up your time here.
cwossy loves it when you talk the talk scwabbys:)
That is why I'd rather treat an old person than a whinny kid, especially with the overprotective parent hanging arohnd. You never know who hurts more the kid or the parent.
Nope--topical patch, then Lyrica. Older brother says, "He is fine. He walks fine. He is in no pain when we go to a movie and out to dinner."
See you all, go to go back to the salt mines. Later everyone
My sister is overprotective and dramatic....and a lawyer. Argh.
Bye Bubba!
Hi Crossy. Would you like me to use more medical words?
Before you do anything invasvive, I wound have a shrink talk to him.
Metabolic acidosis. Nephrolithiasis. Syringomyelia. Leukocytosis. And that was just yesterday's work.
The emotional stuff in this kid/family is very complex.
Crossy, ski hills still open?
way back in the day when my sis was 8 or 9,she used to complain of headaches,we used to think it was just from hearing other adults complain of headaches and was not an issue, turned out she had a inter cranial fluid build up and it had to be drained ,snuck up on everyone
nope all done now
So what are you doing at work now?
im running a service station again
in the evil overloard that sets the gas prices;)))
At the resort?
no no
no refilling station allowed near the mtn
You don't own it, do you?
Are you and Elegant all better now?
i just run it for head office,no one really OWNS a station anymore.the days of the independants have come to an end
just a non stop lingering cough with a small rattle on exhale
Oh, so owned by petrol company?
Stay on that Flovent!
yup
we are;)
have both puffers right in front of me
Snow is expected here tonight. Cold spell.
but i imagine im gonna be sucking on theese things forever now:(
same here
You both need PFTs (pulmonary function tests) at least yearly.
ive made dr appt for us both
Very good.
I have 64 words and am stuck now.
hi, all, a wonderful spring day here at last - birds singing, blackthorn springing.
Hi gg
hello everyone. spring here too but rain, rain, rain
It will warm up here tomorrow and then we will have 5 days of sunshine.
Good Morning Babblers
Hi Momneeds
Hi Annie and mnh
Hi Scrabbs and bunnies
rain rain rain here today - 45 degrees and bleak
hi, everyone who's come in since i last said hi.
Miss Bea Bunny is inhaling her morning salad---parsley just getting sucked in now. So cute.
hello guernsey
annie:)
NBC's Today show is featuring things to splurge on for your home--hardwood floors, patio furniture, appliances, grills. I certainly have no money for splurging.
crossy! How are you and Elegant?
morning peeps
Hi GE
splurging? i hope to one day get rid of the fire pit in the kitchen and try one of them new fangled oven thingies
um this grid looks yummy
sort of recovered annie:)
I splurged Wed. and bought a flat screen TV. Someone from the "Geek Squad" is coming today to hook everything up.
Good for you, Crossy. And then indoor plumbing will be next.
:)
It's a tough one, GE.
and electricity! too
Wow, Annie. I haven't done that yet.
oh, i have been misled?
by my own assumptions?
Scrabbs, I am looking forward to getting rid of the relic I have now.
Some grids are deceiving.
while you have them there, get them to wall mount it.that is the tough part
crossy, This is only a 26" TV that is going into a wall unit. No new fangled stuff for me.
I am so frugal, Annie, that I feel ill when I spend $, especially on myself. I would love a superlight kayak (32 lbs instead of 48) but that will be $2500.
get it scrabby,if you wait till your 90 you may not want it lol
Oh Scrabbs, You do so much good. You deserve the superlight kayak. 16 lbs is a great difference in shlepping.
within reason ive learned not to wait for the good things in live, cause this time shall not pass again.or do not buy the kayak, and next month get run over by a bus sort of thing
I have a wish list---hardwood or laminate flooring, kayak, furniture....but I have to get my nephew through college and then grad school.
Crossy, can you come here and paint my cathedral ceiling?
kayak scrabbs...you can walk on sawdust for a while longer lol
HARDWOOD.
Crossy, I did not mean to holler at you.
if you get me scaffolding and a compressor and a nice paint sprayer, yes
Hardwood will last forever but will cost more. I must save $.
lol scrabbs, live in your shack and buy the kayak:)))
I will call a painter. I love to paint but I cannot do this ceiling.
The nephew you are putting through school, is he the one who lives with you?
Yes, Annie. He is 22 and has been here since age 16. He wants to become a forensic psychologist.
Hi and good morning. The heat spell has broken here in CT
He is away this week, visiting gf at her college, and I miss him.
Hi Bichon!
just imagine the ease of those 6 portages with the lighter weight load, envision how it glides almost like a feather through the fog hanging on that small still lake at dawn...;))
What a great profession. Lucky kid he has you.
howdy bichon
Scrabbs, crossy is making a good point. LOL
Everytime I carry my kayak or lift it on to car rack I say, "Get a light one!"
i know annie,im just messing with her
perhaps the nephew you are putting thru school could paint your ceiling
Then as the Nike ad says----Do it!
there u go
I have been doing my research on the light kayaks.
Go for it Scrabbler. You may regret the money spent, but not the enjoyment
lol nike..do it! tiger did! lol
But it is a cathedral ceiling--20 feet high at highest point of home.
i agree bichon,to hell with the hardwood for now
she can do the hardwood in the winter
I can tolerate old carpeting for a bit longer.
yuppers
I was talking about the kayak
kayak..kayak...kayak...
yes kayak
and the kayak now.
We are of one mind.
dont make me come down there scwabby
Really, I have been doing research on different models--Kevlar fusion, carbon fusion, etc.
I am moving forward.
ill phone into the medical board and tell them you pinched my caboose during an exam if you do not get the kayak lol
you got to love him.....
;))
Haha, Crossy. Let me pay my income taxes next week first. I have to dish out $1500. Ouch.
eww
crossy, I can't imagine you at the pediatrician' office
i was bending over to tie my kids shoes ok lol
Once my friend came to my office when she had pneumonia, and I gave her a Barbie sticker for being a good girl.
lolk
you give out Barbies stickers? I know some Mom's who wouldn't like that
I'm always giving myself 'Good Job' stickers when I play with my niece (she is 2. I am 32)
We have a large selection. I dislike girlie themes immensely---Barbie, princess stuff.
Hi Pinny
well give them a ken sticker then
Hi Scrabbler, Crossy, Bichon et al
My d.i.l. would be the type who dislikes Barbie stickers, but my granddaughter only wants to wear undies with a prince theme
howdy pinny
And I dislike it when a toddler goes bonkers for Sponge Bob. When kids know all of these characters it means they are watching too much TV.
get happy face stickers scwabby everyone likes the yellow happy face
cat has just come in with a beautiful peacock butterfly for me. luckily still alive and able to fly away
Prince or princess underwear?
Phew, gg.
ttfn
lol my cat just at what sounds like a very crunchy spider..and you get a butterfly..lol
Yucky, yucky.
from now on, it'll be butterflies and moths all the time. if i can get to her quickly theyre usually unharmed
then the thing comes over for kisses..get away spider breath!
Hi Babbleonians
Hi hego
howdy hego
mine's just not interested in spiders, than goodness, or i'd have to give her away
Time for more tea. Anybody want some?
hi hego
hi hego
still working on my first cuppa
no thanks, scrabbs, have coffee today
yes please , i'm just about ready
sure- do you have any breakfast blend
crossy you reminded me that i had a dream last night that i was pulling a string of spider eggs out of my pierced ear hole, and then out came a brown recluse spider YUCK!
Crossy, your chicken has become a permanent part of my dinner repetoir
hi hego
i'm going to have to stop reading this Good Ennough, or i'll freak out
Hi gg
yaa! im glad you enjoyed it hego
Two vultures boarded an airplane, each carrying two dead raccoons. The stewardess looked at them and said, "I'm sorry, gentlemen, only one carrion per passenger is allowed."
I have green tea, peppermint, raspberry, white tea with peach/mango, pekoe tea...no breakfast blend.
YUK YUK
it was gross, nuf said
earl gray?
Crossy the kitchen meister.
Hi BR! That was funny!!
Haha, BR.
:)
the beauty of that recipie is it is so easy, but it still looks like you slaved for hours to make it
No Earl Gray. I will have to expand my tea options.
then i'll be happy with Pekoe, thanks
English breakfast is the best
actually, i've just made some scones, if you'd like some to go with the tea.
pekoe is good too thanks
And it tastes so good!
I will look for that. I stopped coffee a month ago and am a tea drinker now.
mmm..scones
Hi everyone. I arrived just in time to ask....What chicken recipe?
I'm having tea also.
Earl Grey Breakfast Blend is very good.
Muffins! Pancakes! Waffles! Gee, I am hungry for breakfast.
i drink tea and nothing else past 3 years or so scwabby
Hi Gramma
Crossy's chicken cordon blue
I make pancakes and freeze them.
wheres the bacon
:))
Good idea, Hego!
Then hubby pops them in the toaster oven.
did Gramma sneak in and I missed it - good morning
I am meeting a friend in about 2 hrs so I need something to carry me until then.
Hello.
He's a pancake fanatic.
Hi gramma
Scrabbler, do you need carrion?
I love pancakes too. Blueberry pancakes are divine.
Annie?
I LOVE pancakes. I recently tried using soy milk and yogurt--super moist pancakes!
Did you buy a TV, Annie?
Silly Gramma.
OK back to me. Chicken recipe? Come on fess up.
It's Crossy's recipe.
it amazing
Yes, I did. Samsung 26" flat screen. The "Geek Squad" person (lol) is supposed to be here today to hook it up to cable and dvd player.
It is.
I love Best Buy.
They have people that really understand the products and are helpful.
Enjoy Annie!
no nbt but i'm halfway. time to get ready for work. good day all
I am really looking forward to a new TV. Hego, I need all the help they have to offer. Thanks, hego. I will let you know when it is all done and working.
if you have it in the computer still, post it for gramma hego, but if not i will type it out again in my profile for her
How is this grid?
bye Good
the grid is so-so in my humble opinion
Crossy, I printed it out and put it in my file.
ty Annie.
I didn't save it.
ok,give me a moment gramma and ill pop it in my profile
The corn flake crumbs (you can buy them) are a great breading idea.
I think Kellogg's vacuums them up and packages them. lol
I have been stuck at 80 words for 15 minutes. I need a break.
Later then, Scrabbs
it helps, Scrabs. Come back fresh.
BBl.
bye hego
bye scrabs and hego
i'm down to 60 now, so i'd better go and do something useful

There's one that was in the NY Times, quite similar to yours. They also added mustard and sauerkraut. Delish.
re8, herin

Down to last four : re 6/27; st 7/36; to 7/36; up 6/27
go gran go
Sorry meant to ask for clues please
gran, a terrible event is a catast7
the other ones I don't have yet either
to7/36 - weapon of choice from a submarine
up6/27 - as the eu7 minus the first letter.
st = vomit st7/36
re6/27 - re plus what sounds like a food item but has to do with reproduction.
st+
hello haz!
Hello TO!
Peeps a plenty!
ty for your clues, perhaps a def for eu?
I've never seen the eu before. e plus not down (two letters), my initial letter, fish egg finish.
thanks haz
a suspended batten or plate of wood or brass pierced with holes through which the cords of a crowfoot are rove to suspend an awning.
I have one by me at all times...
ty! how have you been?
Pfffth. Sounds ancient. No wonder no one's ever heard of it.
I've been fine, thanks. I did the grid earlier today and am now procrastinating a bit.
i am procrastinating a lot. and my peeps are ancient history, not as much fun since i gave up babble for holy week.
Did you feel better or worse once you came back to babble?
ifelt...different. i do't want to give up my time to it as before.
Give up what? Babble or holy week?
have left a few unfinished this week and whas leaving when you arrived
yes judi, i will now fill my time with prayer and fasting
Hello..back again
I know, the time seems to just be swallowed up unless you're a speed merchant or can be disciplined about not finishing and not minding.
Hello, Annie. New TV, I hear?
or have committed to watching tv and can type wihtout chat
hi annie
Yes! I am waiting to have it installed.
Hi TO! I am getting the feeling that you are spending too much time babbling and not enough for praying and such
I'd love to know when the revolution happened that made TVs all slimline. It's extraordinary that they can fit everything in.
Where are they going to put all the doodads that hook up cable and DVD's?
It's anybody's guess, Annie. All you have to do is let them get on with it.
It's the reading of the manuals that always throws me. They assume that you know what they're talking about.
Thanks for the clues but still not seeing re 6/27 or st 7/36 any further clues please
Haz, exactly right. I am looking forward to watching baseball games again.
Haz, After the word "outlet" I am at a loss.
st7/36 - sometimes it's a catas7/36 to see what people do with the apost7/36, especially greengrocer's (deliberate mistake)
Can anyone clue the first re6/27 please ;o)
I depend upon "the kindness of strangers" when it come to anything remotely related to electronics as you know.
It's a conspiracy, Annie.
aniie you were without a tv?
re6/27 - brought together again to reproduce young.
TO, I am replacing a relic.
Or re plus a consonant, then a scarlet colour.
i must do the same...ooh! sun is out!
Hooray for sun! It's doing its best here to warm up.
Thanks Haz great clue
You're welcome, Norma.
annie, yanks are doing well
Go, Yankees!!!
well time to toddle. haz, nice to see you and also you jusi and annie. i forget about just emailing you when I don'tbabble. but email leads to websurfing and eventually to gaming.
Good to see you as well!

Bye, Owl..good to see you too.

Hello, harpjane. Not got an icon clue, sorry.

hello all, help with st9 pls
st9/72 - what the elastic did under pressure.
Work, work, work. I should lock the do**.

Sorry, neighbour popped in - thanks for the clues and finished
ty Haz, great clue
My friend that I usually go in with was mugged, thrown to the ground and her knee was broken. She is recuperating now. I mentioned this before.
harp i forget may be sendak
You're welcome, peri. Well done gran!
terrible, annie. crime has been way down but cannot be eradicated
I remember you saying about your friend, Annie. What a horrible thing to happen.
well annie, i would come to your neighborhood some time
Did they catch the perpetrators?
btw the link is the guild - but these on line gamers are NOTHIGN like us. we can all quit any time
No one was caught as she did not see him. He pushed her from behind and ran.
was this near your home?
Owl, maybe one day when I am able to. It would be nice.
Owl, Yes, it was near my home.
I hope the coward gets his just deserts eventually.
I pray for the same, Haz.
peri did you get a car?
And meanwhile, best wishes for a complete recovery for your friend.
not yet, will start looooking tomorrow
not yet, will start looooking tomorrow
TO, I stink at this computer stuff. How do I watch the thing you posted from you.tube?
Annie, sorry to hear about your friend, hope she recover quickly
Annie, sorry to hear about your friend, hope she recover quickly
Haz, she is doing very well. She is home and getting about with minimal help.
thanks, peri
looking even
looking even
That's good to hear - she must be pretty resilient. Don't let the bad guys win!
This happened in January so she is well on her way. She has to get her confidence back.
gramma, you copy the link and post it into your browser, open a new tab if you can
peri, lunch would be nice
it would Owl
franklin mills
Owl, once I get a newer car I will be able to do more things
Oooooh. Franklin Mills.
welll judi, come on up!
i have two-fer coupons
Hi, was reading your writtings and my prayers are with you friend . I work with people with drug addictions and so many times they rob to get their drugs. Its hard to understand but they really do need our prayers
I haven't been there in ages, TO. I'm afraid my hip wouldn't appreciate all the walking required.
thanks sue. the police did mention drug addiction as one of the reasons for the mugging.
I highlighted it and clicked search. Youtube comes up; but, says no matches. Does it have a name I could search under?
ok time to go SOMEWHERE. nice to chat with all
Owl, not working today?
bye TO have fun somewhere.
Bye TO. I'd better procrastinate no longer and get moving.
gramma, do you see where the tope window of this screen gives the url hettp://www.playbabble.com? go to another tab and paste in the link you have copied to that area
no annie. i do miss the pace of being away though, i am bored and my job ended today and i don't know where i will be placed
Annie, make sure and enjoy that new TV, but don't watch it too much. You don't want to turn into the sort of woman who becomes addicted to looking at a screen.....
Owl, If you are not working get on Amtrak and go to MOMA ( just a suggestion).
have spent last two weekends in nnj. not a fan to go today
It's very hard for some of them to change. They hide in their addiction
haz - DO NOT use the a word. we can all quit anytime.
Of course we can! It's a mild attachment, a transitory fondness only.
watch the video. language not too bad
Haz, I do not abuse TV watching (thank goodness) not a soap opera fan either. The screen that I am addicted to is the Babble screen.
It's a wonder I'm not struck down.
Transitory fondness..I like that.
Got it, now to watch it. ty
Yes, babble is just a wee phase we're going through.
* puts on foil hat with lightening rod*
Okay, off I go back to real life. Good to talk to you all, hope to see you tomorrow!
*gone*
Bye Haz..give Spangle a hug.
Bye, Haz!
hugs to all.
(((Owl)))
What is a total rim job?

fope
The "eu" word, it says here, is a device used to adjust a shipboard awning. I kid you not!!
They are certainly creative.
The other thing it says is that it is "pseudolearned" English - using Greek spellings for an Angloe Saxon word (juffrow)!
first re6?
re6ing hairline
to mate an animal again?

even the hints in the chog are difficult!
not as bad as I thought but I did need the list
installers are here, see you later
what can I help you with ruby - bye annie
i got a few minutes before I must get back to work
I have no top o or any of the 5 e's under it
this am, everyboy was trying to tell me how to make a place for a list, but I've been trying for 1/2 hr without success
oo/4/4
everybody* maybe it's because I can't type lol
i open up two windows so can see my list at same time as this board
I can't figure out how to do that, when I open a new window, babble disappears
open two separate internet browsers
you can try shrinking the screens or just keep changing back and forth
so one on yahoo (this one) and the other on IE?
i have a large monitor here at work so I can see both but at home I need to flip back and forth
Have your yahoo open - go to start and choose the internet again
rubyfoo you can open up 2 IE windows click on File/New window
you can have the internet open as many times as you want. I like that better than using the tabs
im not real computer savvy but can make it work for me
hi tuco, OK, I'll try. Do I keep babble on here but stick it over toward one side?

Yahoo MP!
cube
oops .. off i go
I left you some choccies...
I already had that one.
So far the winning strategy seems to be to monkey type a weird four letter work, then past tense and person-who-does it.
I have managed to find 6.
I so had to finish this one because of two weeks away in mexico and california....trying to get my stats up! Thanks everyone....gotta run to look for some helping objects for my father-in-law to help his alzheimers...looking for some squishy soft balls to exercise his hands...but without any fluid inside that may come out...bet target has something...
And then plural the person-who-does-it
Have fun, MP.
MPittore - look in the pet toy section. they might have something
Bye, mpitt--you're a good daughter in law!
thanks...and good luck scrab and jan...it's really not so bad a grid...quirky but dooable...
Dunno...the c's are evil...as usual
Hi joey how are you doing?...thanks for the good idea...maybe I should go to petco or petsmart...if target doesn't have something....that's a great idea...
if you know anyone whose had chemo, they may have some soft foam balls
(nice welki .. who's had...)
No grammar and spelling police here on the night shift, welki
good idea welki...then I could thread a shoelace between them easier for him to keep together...I am going to cut a length of that foamy cushioning that you can line your cupboards with....to keep things on his table from sliding off...
(thanks, jan .. i am so not into enforcement today)
22 left- it was a good run but I won't go the distance
Funny you should write that, just as I was thinking of packing it in at 17...
I have been thinking of ordering him a clapper to turn his radio off and on with...not enough manual dexterity left for him to do it and he enjoys the music.
come on kap...never give up...go kap go!
evening. diving in!

or the dog
It's Saturday morning here, Momn. But I've done all my packing and now I'm relaxing. Don't have an early start as we can't get into the chalet until after 4pm.
on the cat - dog will lick it off
good point
are you flying, driving , how long a trip
I hope that's buttered or toffee popcorn and not salted. Hate salted!
Momn - driving, about 3 and a half hours with a stop off for lunch.
no salt but plain butter.
have never seen toffee popcorn here
That's okay then Mom.
not bad at all - about the same for me to the mountains here. Are you skiing, snowshoeing???
What? no Salt? Can't eat it without
We have a thing called 'Butterkist' here in UK.
gads, now I want some toffee popcorn.....
couldn't taste it, Mary
Can't walk into a store that's just popping it without buying some.
Ladies - i just noticed we are all the same age (not Leslie - she is still a child). Go girls!!!!
oh that smells delicious when in the stores
Hi Trif - just noticed you were here
:)
Momn - I'll be 53 on 22nd of this month.:(
Still, being 53 is better than not being here at all!
You youngster, you!
Happy Birthday - I will turn in September
you got that right
Happy birthday Jac.
I will be 53 in October
Hey - don't be premature! I've still got 12 days to go. LOL
but still have 48 years to go
I might forget by then Jacula
I dont know about you but I love to celebrate for any reason as long as I can
only 48 Mom
Mom - LOL. I know what you mean.
Wish I was there and remember when I was totally insulted when someone asked me if I was eligible for a senior citizen discount, and it only seems like yesterday
I just wrote it down
everyday we wake up on the right side of the grass is a day to celebrate
True, Mom
I'll take any discount I can get
Celebrating is good. Writing stuff down is also good, unless you forget where you wrote it.
momzoid!!!
Not that bad yet Jacula
I ask my dad everyday "Daddy how you feeling?" (he is 76) and he says "Not room temperature, it is a good day"
NUTTY!!!!!!!!!!

hey de ho babble buddies
Your on!
no need for rum, i gots me some beers
My Mum's 76 on June 4th and the worrying thing is that I still remember her being 33 (because it was the number of the house we lived in at the time).
But I must add, I still look good for an OLD broad. And with that I must say good-nite to all
this is like old home week
I have missed you-all SO MUCH! I am too pooped to read right now, so thought I would just peek in and look!!!!! *happy mama look*

oh yeah...he's deader than my youth
Oh yes, the monster spider she murdered.
maybe its a boil rennie?
i'm doing good - got great meds
that was so funny to read that today
I like spiders! Unlike my Mum, daughter, son and ex-hub.
oh -- btw, since you are here, I shall let you know we had to block facebook at home. My account will still update through my twitter feed, but I can't read anyone's stuff even when I have time *sad mama look* the stidkid was having trouble focusing on schoolwork... *sigh*
that is good Ren
apparently my co-workers thought so too
might be a boil - a boob boil
they were calling their husbands into the room and reading it to them
lol Nutty
a boib bool
Stid - can't you use parental controls to stop stidkid going on there?
oh Stid
we are doing it this way because he is close to legal adulthood -- I am not sure what our "rights" are in terms of restricting his access through facebook
Ren, how is Mez?
ce6?
brb
what about restricting his access to services you are paying for
Mom has gone to refill her beverage container again
breath mint - plural
Good point, Nut.
he's doing great mom - got his new knee - riding bikes...cooking - doing stuff around the house - he's a new person
well... that's true nut. but it's going to be okay to have us ALL take a little break from facebook.
Ren - that's good to hear about Mez.
woo hoo...and farting
that is wonderful Ren
But not about the farting.:(
so glad to hear that about Mezzie. Please give him our best piratey ARRRRs!
i will he still wears all his effects - looking for new ones for him
Certs is only 5 letters for a breath mint
ARR Mez lad, ye'll be splicing the mainbrace and shinning up the mast in no time.
you need a different 5th letter in there, mom
add another vowel in there Mom
effects effects the evil word
will go look
'effects', ren?
i need a breath mint - some of this medicine taste likes nutty's old socks
have you been eating my socks again?
lol Ren
gross
Oh! so THAT'S where all the missing socks go!
i think you put them in my lunch box - they were gross
oh thank you all, got it
i knew my pirate socks were missing
go Mom go!
yup - nutty weara them then passes them on to me
long way to go Stid ... 130 left
pirate socks must be extra smelly.
with a healthy layer of toe jam
oh Nutty
they are - i thought they were camo pirate socks - it was just the moldy growth from nutter's feet
I am down to 135... won't finish. will go to sleep when I get NBT
I won't finish either.
the green fuzzies are flavorful...potty time
I'm back - how did we get to smelly socks

Oh, that's ren and nut. Always down to basics with them around.
Nutty, Ren .... meet Momneedshelp, she is new
ARRR Mom! we be talking piratin' stuff. Be ye knowin' Capn Ren and Mate Nutly?
glad to meet you
we're mom's daughters - i'm the good one
Never sure which of you is lying about that, servant Ren.
I adopted them many years ago
Are you both in the picture?
pleased to meet you momneedshelp....can you walk planks?
and Nutty is the one who doesn't like to take a bath
nope
I can walk anything after a beverage
plank walking!!!
plank walking is nut's favorite pass time - only time she gets a bath
*teetering teetering - ah fooled ya*
Momn - look a Ren's profile - the bottom right pic that comes up from her Flickr pics. She looks like a mad Janis Joplin, and that's saying something.
sea wench
Just don't ask MrP. if she can walk planks if you see her, ren. She's just broken her ankle and worse falling off a chicken plank.
how come you can't have just one herpes
Mom - I'd rather not have singular or plural!
good question mom, the ansssswer needs more RUM... *takes long swig at bottle*
So how did you get from Kentucky to the Bahamas?
pr7?
lol Jacula, nor would I
I would have some explaining to do
ouch forf mr - ouch ouch ouch
to occur before
ah thans
*thanks
mom sent us packing when nut quit bathing
yep. it was a little while ago, but I suspect she is feeling pretty house-bound about now ren... what do you say we sail around the horn and go pay her a visit? Maybe we can put something on a barbee for fun!
thought the ocean would clean you up....
Nutty doesn't like soap either
ren - yes it was. She was getting the chooks in out of the tr4's when one flapped and startled her and she fell off the walking plank. Thank God she didn't land on her newly repaired arm!
how are you doing LA? when did you get here? *rubs at tired pirate eyes*

Yes Jacula - enjoy
Anyway, I was clueing 'e' words wasn't I? Any still needd?

*sticks firework into Stid's cap to make sure she is raring to go tomorrow.
hairlines on men tend to re****
ah thanks mom. brain and monkeys are struggling toward the finish line
Sorry, Les. Yes.
got to go - daughter taking over computer - night all
night mom, thanks for the help
Ha! I know that feeling. Mine daughter's been left home nearly 2 years now, but, since she has iffy internet access, she often comes home, commandeers my computer and starts 'farming'. (Farmville on Facebook).:-((
If it's not that, it's her getting her e-mails from Uni tutors or printing out reams of stuff for her dissertation. I can't really say 'NO' to that, can I?
I just wish she'd learn that you can use 'fast draft' mode to print out most things BECAUSE IT DOESN'T USE SO MUCH VERY EXPENSIVE INK!
Ooh! I feel better now after yelling that. LOL
I just love now how you can get a printer for half the price of a cartridge
I feel so cheated that puberty is not in the gird. just pubert.
Hello again.
haha
Well, if no one needs clues now, I will wander off to update my blog before I go off on holiday.
Oh, so I was not alone. *feels comforted*
Bye Jac.
Hi Scrabbs.
I am checking in before I go to bed. And it is very late for you.
lynxx is right about the printers and the ink cartridges. Those refills don't work, btw. It all gets clogged up.
103 to go and I see nothing.
good night scrabbs, I am just starting to eat dinner.
re 5/12 and be5? my monkeys are dead.
I am sick--fever, body aches, dizzy.
Scrabbs - now you sound like my uncle from Canada who asks me something or sends me something and then asks me if it isn't way past my bedtime when I answer him.
be5 = type of tr4
oh no scrabbs, tea tylenol...
I had 2 mugs of chamomile tea, some "Saltine" crackers, naproxen.
re5/12 - to put the plant in a new container.
thanks scrab
No resp or GI sxs.
after that, the re 5/12 right after the 8
Isn't it 2:55 AM for you, Jac?
poor scrabs.
Yes, Scrabbs. Well, 2,44 to be precise.
re5.12 a re***duction or copy
Occupational hazard--exposure to germ factories (kids).
huzzah!! fireworks
Yep, 5 hrs ahead of me.
Yippee LA.
congrats leslie
I just have a 'thing' about people telling me when I should or should not be sleeping.
Oh, you don't have to sleep. I am just surprised that you are still awake.
Well done LeslieA.
hi all...here for a little bit...everyone done?
no sleeping until i do!
Scrabbs - I work at and from home and am lucky enough to be able to keep my own hours. The waking and sleeping hours may vary, but I enjoy the freedom it gives me.
Hi Pini. 97 left. And my OCD dictates that I must finish with even numbers, 0 or 5.
I hear ya, scrabs! 74 more to go here...
98 left here still trying to eat dinner.
OK, I am done at 112/96. Time to crawl into my nest.
what happened to 0 or 5?
feel better scrabbs
I have even numbers so that qualifies.
* sigh of relief * ok...in that case, sleep well!!!
I hope I am better tomorrow as my NJ sister is coming here for a 6 day stay.
Dormez bien, Scrabbs.
I have to clean, shop, get her bedroom + bathroom ready.
hi everyone *still panhandling for fishville friends*
You'll be better, scrabs...I have faith!
Good night buddies!
hi welki ;)
hey welki, the only fishville I play is maintaining my tank in the living room.
I may or may not do the Saturday grid. Depends how big it is. Probably see you all again in a week's time.
welki, I'll go to fishville if you come to my petville ;)
she's your sister, scrabs ... she'll manage without you doing all that (get better)
have a great holiday, jac!
jacula, are you going to the bahamas?
how time consuming is it, pini?
not very if you don't play it!
is your name the same on fb?
My Beloved was reading an article on Yahoo news earlier about a 10-year-old kid having spent about £900 on his mother's credit card on extras for Farmville on Facebook.
ohhhh my! i haven't paid a penny. (too cheap)
red - no. To North Devon, UK.
holy cow, jac...that's an expensive "unknown" hobby...
I don't pay either...
oh my, have a good time!
(that's 1383.00 US dollars!)
its insane...
OMG!!! I'd fall apart at that!
I just wonder how the young son knew hw to use the credit card, etc., etc.
does a petville neighbor have to play fishville?
not at all, welki...but I need one more neighbor to "build" my yard...
good question, jac
i wonder if it's the same for fishville ... is your name the same on fb?
you should be able to find me under my nickname (I hope)
if not, find me thru email (same nickname @ yahoo.com)
Apparently, her bank (HBSC) will refund her if she brings charges against her son for fraud. (Obiously, since it will jeopardise any future job prospects he might have, she's not going to do that. Facebook and the game site won't be recompensing her either.
what a painful lesson, jac :(
dont they expunge childrens records in the UK?
I don't play any of those games on FB. Just word games.
its the same as that 12 yr old that continually texted to raise money for haiti, thinking it was free...
Red - not soon enough and not completely.
I play word games and only 2 non-word games
pini or pinikula?
the latter
I play match 3 or moere games on there and talk to my family.
I avoid any family other than my dau's
nope, can't find you
ok...hold on...
Facebook has been getting a lot of stick in the UK press for refusing to add the panic button for kids who think they are being targeted by paedophiles.
are you friends with other babblers (I know, dumb question) like Stid?
Apparently BEBO and other sites have added this button.
I sort of hate to admit it, but I don't like the idea of kids hanging about on Facebook...
I've never heard of a panick button...will have to read more about it!
me either, red!
-k
not stid, but with atalante
I asked my stepdaughter, who uses BEBO, if it was a button that could be used to malicously and falsely accuse people. She wasn't sure.
I know thats odd, but, it seems to be a better site for adults. even with the silly games.
Well for certain Jacula, you can push that button when you feel like it, and the shame of any sort of investigation would possbly ruin peoples credibility...
ok...let me look
oh .. and jmc
me, too...
(both)
But we sometimes ger hordes of kids in here. Uusually if a teacher has given them the site as a class exercise. In which case 8 out 10 fool around and make a mess of thee chog. Many more come back to the site during school holidays just to troll it.
if you look at jmc's friends, you'll find me easily .. initials d.a.
oh no, i ment FB, not babble.
ok, welki...looking (my initials are JS)
But, we do get maybe 3 out of 20 who want tp understand the game and play it properly.
trying to send request, seems hung up
Anyway, you two enjoy your chat and any Babbling left and I'll see you in a week or so.
have a grand time, jac!!!
BINGO!
just got the request and am confirming, welki :)
okie .. neighbor request will follow shortly and i'll reply to yours as well
we be friends now! :)
hi all!
hi TO :)
hey, owl
Evening all...May I please have a clue for co5-14 the 3rd? Thanks
i'm missing that one, too, ga
Thanks anyway, Pini.
co + choose
co5.14 HELIco**er - double the vowel
thx lynxxx ;)
and welki ;)
pini, i guess it takes some time for the 'ville to update friends
Thanks, welki and lynxxx.
we can check back in a few minutes...it's all good! :)
May I please have a clue for cr5-14 the 4th? Thanks
co5/14 (2nd)
cr5/14 (4th) = oil and/or vinegar "vase"
cr5.14 You've got to be cr**l *o be kind
Thanks Pini and lynxxx.
co5.14 Dove calls in the past
thx lynxxx ;)
to finish off the co's...co6/24? (have the firs 4 letters...can't figure the ending)
er, first
co6.24 Australian yell or call in the past -
oy, thx!!!
yw. Anything else, off in a few minutes.
I've only got a few more, lynxx...so I'm good...have a great evening!
lynnxxxxxxxx ... still chuckling about budgies :)
well, a few being 1/4 of the grid...
lol, its just past midday here but going to enjoy an afternoon nap, not enough sleep last night. Bye all
* giggle * good memory, welki ;)
rest well, lynxxx
brb - koda needs to go out for a few minutes...
what was that eagles' song ... smugglers' something .. now it will be forever known as budgie smugglers
smugglers blues
g'night folks ... 'see' you tomorrow
Sweet dreams, welki.
back for a few more my babbleonian buddies:)
back
hi crossy
howdy pini
how many ya got left?
too many:(
I'm still going, too
i only spent 20 min at it this morn
strop
Hi all. 47 left and I don't think I will finish. A clue for the eu7?
oops
oooh, thx for that one, crossy!
remove the E from the first u6 ;)
er...add an E to the first u6
eu+ f sound+fish eggs
ty Pini and crossy. Got two from that one.
;)
:))
im in a strange situation where i have most of the biggies, but am missing tons of the small 4 letter words
now there's a situation!
2nd to last to6/24?
only to 6 i have is a head rug
that'd be the one, crossy!
to6,24 travelled
:))
ty wht
The first to6 is the plural of the to5 before it. Lots build off of the second to4,5 which is t + two thirds of not close.
to + no me or you, but third ****on
or what wht said ;)
mmm
it eludes me
to + **ar shaped (fruit)
What pini said
spin words off that root word ;)
O-0
get it yet, crossy?
(you can also add an S to the front for a few more)
ahh, just got the submarinbe projectile though
that's a good one, crossy!
last st7?
May I please have a clue for to7-36? Thanks
crossy just "clued" it, ga
sub projectile gape
used to sink ships
Thanks much, Pini and crosshair.
yw
;)
27 to go...should i finish?
indeed
is there a list?crosses fingers and toes*
of course, TO!
I've got 30 now so not too far behind you!
last st7: apost***** '
yes, TO...Lickety is up today ;)
wellall-righty!
oooh, thx Ormal!
:D
May I please have a clue for st7-36 the 1st? Thanks
21 to go. Maybe I will finish.
when you get up in the morning, the first thing you might do is st*****
st7/36 what you do before you exercise
you can do it, wht!
or what you do when you pull taffy
2nd to last st5/12?
Thanks, Pini and Ormal and crosshair.
really sore throat
:))
kids get this at the drop of a hat
thx again, ormal!
te6/27?
it's what I came here for!
you came to get st5?
;)
if you switch the first two letters it means to scratch into the surface of, and sounds about the same either way
would never have guess that, ormal...
pr 7 pls?
gotta love babble...learn a new word (or many of them) every day!
pr7 - to go ahead of
Especially since the te4 it builds off isn't in Enable, no matter how many times I type it.
pr 7=an appitizer pr*****s the main course
thx for the pr7 ;)
lots of crazy words on here that I have to look up. I love it. One day maybe I'll remember the meanings. :D
ty
brb,crossy needs more pistachios;)
yum, bring me some please!
I can empathise with that idea, ormal...
are the first 2 re6's fish?
te6/27?
ah, crossy takes a break from bacon?
the pistachio's are probablyl wrapped! * giggle *
yes, looking for the te6/27
uh, the first re6 is what the police file when you make a complaint, the second one drops a middle letter, adds a plural letter
te6/27: change the order of the first two letters of et6/27
lol, everything i do in life is not bacon lol
there are 2 before those re6's ormal
hello, does anyone have an icon clue?
No the first re6 is to have had offspring again.
I don't, harp... :(
dont'have et6/24
The next one is what flood waters do eventually
oops! quite so: to mate again, then to lose the hairline
et6/27, to scratch into the surface of (as on trophies)
got the 2nd, working on the first
How about the last re6? The one after what you do to your plants?
ty
to refill a jug you would re**** ???
to serve from your pitcher again, wht
Oh, if I spilled my drink I'd need to re**** a new one.
ooh, di you see the standing cat video?!
feeling a little slow now; not getting the remate clue :(
ty. all of you. I finally got that.
more like mated an animal again
ce6/21?
ce6 = sounds like a breath mint with an extra vowel near the end
got the mate clue!
ty
ce + a****ian wells don't need pumps
oh good clue for that one wht. I couldn't think how to do it.
gads...slow going but down to 23 now ;)
yay Pini!
wtg pini!
re6/24 pls?after mate animal again?
I have fireworks.
wtg wht!
wtg wht!
nice, wht!
re6/25 = withdrawl (like a hairline)
I didn't think I would finish but I did.
ou's?
u dun gud, wht!!!
with time to spare wht!
ty. i heard that clue many times but did not think i needed it! :/
see you all tomorrow
is the pr7, something or other before something else?
well done, TO! take care ;)
lol, those ou's are kinda like an f sound, then plural
I do
add the P to the re6 just clued ;)
yes, it is harp
de 6/24 # 2??? please
hi jilli ;)
This is an icon clue -- but I can't stay -- getting supper (late) -- back in a while
remove from the country, ru
hi and byfor noe, all
de6/24 #2: to kick out of the country when a visa expires
ruru - to send someone out of the country
thank you.
ruru: to make someone leave the country
help with the pr7?
add the P to the re6 just clued
re6 = withdawal (hairline); add P to the front for the pr7
