Me? Next year I hope. Our federation has a prgram, Engliyada, where one can volunteer to teach ESL in Cleveland's sister city Beit She'an (talk about hot!). All I have to do is scare up airfare.
Fred is going on the Nesiya program.
Both are good programs -- hope you can get here too, and soon!
He'll be there for six weeks, from the Negev to the Golan and points in between. He's so psyched, and I think this will be a tremendous growth experience for him. If all goes well, I should be there about a year from now. If all goes better than well, I should be able to extend my stay.
Anyway, we're going to the noon baseball game tomorrow so I'd best get to bed. I'm so glad i caught up with you this evening (morning!), ARB. Shalom to you & yours.

it was great hearing about six or ten other passengers all snort and try to stifle laughter, not wanting to make like it was funny because the little guy was drinking in the sudden attention.
my friend's little boy ( he is now 50) couldnt pronounce "tr" when quite small so he substituted F instead. You can imagine what he said when he saw a lorry going by. We still tell him the story and he puts up with us.

Another funny story - m9 mentioned taking her husband's pants down to him : we had a newly arrived student from Indonesia (Chinese Indonesian) who had limited English. He lived with a guardian. I taught him and took him under my wing somewhat. He was 15 and growing like a weed. I noticed one day his pants were half-mast, so I offered to take them down for him. I can still see his look of terror as he clutched at his pants! Things were never quite the same again!

yup, they just did it. after the robot said an agent will be with you next, i got the recording, due to the high volume of calls waiting, they can't answer.. call back. I wish i would just get a busy signal, i spend an average of ten minutes answering their questions
oh yah, very wrong... and somehow some way they may find the $$ to get me ack, but meanwhile it has been a very stressful two months and now i need to pay my own health insurance, etc, so i'll take the unemployment

everyone knows it, but still it is happening. I have been venting plenty... i am still angry about it, and wish i could gain better acceptance, but it is just plain wrong.. for the kids, for the teachers, and for me.

I fa4/7ed well w/the grid and got my FWs When I en5/10ed Babble today, it was very quiet.Th 5/12 weren't many people he4/5.I ha4/5 it when the chog is quiet. In Babbleland, we have all ea4/4ed the right to babble instead of housework. I just love the Babble community. Everyone is very since4/5 and ch 5/16ing. All of the babblers ch5/14 for you when you get fireworks.I love to ch4/6 with people here.I love the clues given. There are no ch7/36 in babble, just helpers. It isn't considered ch5/14ing to use the list or ask for clues. I see no ha4/6 in doing that. Hubby (who is a ha5/12 of Babble) ye 5/14s to go on FB and play fa4/8ville.Can he4/5 him getting very impatient while waiting for the computer. I walked faster this time because my 27 yr-old daughter was with me. We did it in a little over an hr. (70 minutes)
Jess it is dead set winter here 32F and I have been looking at Pets Haven they are a rescue group. This week so far they have had 3 dogs that had to be shaved naked due to knotting

I've gotten faster as the weeks have progressed. I'm doing a challenge from work, 10,000 steps/5 miles a day.

I used to NEVER go on walks until I got my dog. Now I go on one or two walks a day, sometimes even th5/12

My excercise used to consisted of going up and down the stairs at school, which I do a trillion times a day.
It was easy when we were out west hiking in the mtns. Now I'm home I have to make myself walk when it's in the 90's.

Hubby won't walk the dog when it is hot, but dog still needs his excercise no matter how cold or hot it is.
We have a puppy day care here. there is 2 of them one is smaller than the other. My neighbour takes his big dog there occasionly to give the dog variety.
I've been dragging myself out of bed at 7:00 am to beat the heat and then in the evening. I drink lots of water.
We have a doggie daycare too, but hubby won't send dog there. He's paranoid about the ot5/12 dogs.It is cheap though; about less than 20 dollars a day I think
