actually, what I have done when I am overwhelmed and my "get up and go" button is broken is give myself ONE thing to do at a time. I can do ONE thing for five minutes. Then I take a break. Then I do one MORE. This way it doesn't feel so overwhelming.
but I can only count as high as ONE, so your usage of this technique may vary...
Think I need to do a brain dump onto paper...then I can start breaking it down...
that sounds like a good idea. I would recommend including things you WANT to do in the process.

i use a spreadsheet in GoogleDocs. I paste the list in the A column, and tic off what i have in the B column, rarely will type words in C column for clarification
a bit of work, but it works for me
Wow! It sounds like a lot of work to me.I am not that computer savvy to do that. I just copy and paste list in to word document & then tye words in as I find'em.
