I think the pool situation is just that the lids are sort of freaked out at that age, whereas at 2-3 they really dont seem to be, but floating in a pool is less difficult than strapping on skates...I think.

yes, that's what I'm thinking. IN the end the swimming gets expensive as well, as kids eventually need lane rentals, the new expensive suits and private coaching, but int he beginning it's easier to start young so the kids aren't afraid of the water.

I think you can stay inexpensive in swimming and still have fun. It doesn't have to be super competitive. But, skating, no matter how you do it costs a lot. The skates, ice time, coaching, costumes, entry fees to competitions, travel, etc.

Yes, I suppose, but most kids if they have any talent, don't want to just have fun. I train alongside a pre-olympic team. It gets sort of nuts, even for some of the 6 yr olds who show talent.
They sometimes look a little stressed.
And, you can spend a lot and then the next month the child doesn't want to do it any more
I used to be on everyday...but have had some family problems which is still on going......are you on your break at work or areyou off today?.

On the way home I went to a video store to re4/4 a Sharon Stone movie Basic Insti5/12.It was very late when I got home,but started babbling anyway. I had a hu 5/18 that my tr 3/3 of monkeys would give me trouble today & I was right. I needed monkeys to help me hu 4/6 for words because the grid wasn't a ci 5/16 to do. I tried to co 4/10 th 4/6 with bananas, but they didn't move an in 4/6. Monkeys were it 4/6ing to go play in the tr 4/4. I couldn't el6/21 any hi 4/5s from th 4/6. So I did not pay those monkeys one ce4/5 for their help since my needs were un5/14.I'm still looking to hi4/5 new ones I am going to change icon for the next icon th5/14.
