fantastic granny!
yay rose
wow granny, good for you
hey dee, i do lo4 these biggies, really
(((andree)))) how are you?
hellooo flosey
:~)
i am well thx rose, not babbling much these days
and dylan, andree? how's he doing ?
are you all well now, back on your feet and at work?
do you mean Hugo
wrong owner, lol
hmmmm, sort of. ankle is doing really well. but am having a tad of a problem with sinuses.
well, dah. sorry andree, how's hugo?
Hugo is very well, will be 1 on 17th, I had a little time off today so went birthday shopping.my 4 year old grandaughter has arranged a party!!!
she has issued an invitation to a number of dogs, I am gobsmacked by the whole thing
she is the bossiest 4 year old i have ever met
lol, andree. what i have to look forward to
bad sinus year here, too.. LOL sounds like the definition of a 4 year old
dee, my sinusitis was asymptomatic, the infection is now in the bones. long term AB's for me
its all in good fun, it appears the neighbourhood with their dogs will be in for afternoon tea
well all i can say is, her mum must be a saint.
a friend of mine had to have surgery this spring due to infection in bones... I don't think I am far behind...
thats not good rose, glad at least now its being treated
tough to shake... ditto what andree said...
dee, surgery could be in the future if the AB's don't work
her surgery went really well and she is doing great right now
said she feels better now than she has in years
shame to have sinus problems in winter, what will it be like when the summer comes and all the wattle etc is out
summer here... exactly what has happened to me... have been plugged up since May
went to an ENT seminar last saturday, apparently the bacteria form biocells which are impervious to AB's. when the biocell breaks down, you have to have the AB's on board to get the little suckers. at least that's the theory
interesting
hence the long term AB's, and i mean long term....5-17 weeks. i'm in week 4
are you feeling any better?
wont they cause problems of their own over such a long period
feeling heaps better, temp. in low 37C, and yes andree, am on inner health caps, and herin suggested cranny caps as well.
so many d's, i am so stuck
least most of the d's are normal words :~)
Forgot to close down - congrats granny. Bye everyone
thanx anike, and bye
glad you are improving granny!
thanx dee
:~)

sorry; I think I hqd ,y hqnd in the zrong plqce on the keyboqrd:::::
yes ruby, hello, hun
Very French this morning ruby
ah, no, I had it on French! q's and a's are reversed!
I had to write to the gendarmes!
I'm well - think Rubys keyboard is having an attack of some sort
an "attaque"
lol
Well that's the fastest 100 words I have ever achieved, I think. Presumably now I will screech to a half!
I love this grid!
agreed, peeps. this is/was a fun grid. kept having runs of words
fireworks
Congrats Volley!!
ty
yay dee!!
you have finished too Rose?
80 words in 9 minutes, a record for me!
yes lyn
WTG DEE!!!!!
Congratulations to you too!!

BBL
{{lynxx}}
Back. How are things ruby?
a little better, I think. Thank you for asking.
Ooh, just got my first 8 :-) Glad things are a bit better.
and I contacted the gendarmes and told them that the "dog family" was trying to get me to drop the complaint and they said, even if I wanted to, it was in the hands of the prosecutor. Yay for that
yay for the 8!
Now that's good. Takes it out of your hands.
and I'll just hang up if they call again
velo
whoops! pb if it's not a word?
No, not a word so you are safe from the chocolates and coffee.
could use some chocs and coffee!
half!
You're ahead of me then.
I love this grid but have to go in a minute!
maybe, but you'll get fireworks and I won't!
Not sure about that, have lots to do today and am out all day from 6am tomorrow (sigh) till late at night, so will be doing tomorrow's on the train!
best word for me: ve5/16
going down to London?
will say goodnight, peeps. see you at the flip
glad you are on the mend, granny!!! {{rose}}
thanx ruby * poof *
No, not tomorrow, going to visit group of friends in Surrey. We get together about twice a year and take turns in each other's houses. When they come here, they stay, but when I go there I go for the (long) day, unless I go on to see son in London. Going to see son and family on 20th for the weekend so this time will stay in London, go and see a show probably, then go and see son next day, go back to stay in central London and catch a train in the morning. Will make life a bit easier.
busy sally! I don't have the energy for all that
(son and wife are very disorganised so if I stay with them I tend to miss the train!)
visitors start coming here, though, toward the end of this month and a lot in September.
and housekeeper is mostly on holiday this month, so lots more work than usual
Will visitors be OK, with husband still poorly?
must *poof*
How often does housekeeper come in?
OK, bye ruby
they are mostly his friends, from US and South Africa, so, hopefully, it will cheer him up. And the nurse will be coming for 3 months, after Friday, only every other day!
normally, she comes for 4 hrs, 4 days/wk. Now, she's coming once or twice a week and then, not at all.
ooh, lucky ruby. Would like housekeeper!
this house gets too dirty for me to clean it as the dogs are in and out all day and bring with them tons of dirt!
my feeling is that husband's previous wives (3!) all had housekeepers and cooks, so why shouldn't I?
lol ruby!
no cook, however, he isn't rich enough (see 3 wives above hahah)
cooking, gardening and dogs are about all I can handle
Are previous wives all still alive?
yes! and he still corresponds with the last one....totally weird, but I think she's hoping I'll die and she'll move here
fat chance!
I'll try and stay healthy for spite!
But it's your house isn't it? Presumably if you went first your husband would be out on his ear and it would go to your family!!?? :-)
would you like some tomatoes? I have so many, from only 5 plants, that I have begun freezing them and giving them away
that's true except that my son is such a softie, that he would never kick Burt out!
You'll have to send me a virtual one. (Ducks)
hahah they are sweet and delicious, warm from the garden
dribble.
the ones in the stores all year are not worth eating
now, really *poof*
and I make tabouleh [sp?] with tomatoes, mint, chives and parsley, all from my garden *proud*
and the fish, BTW, say hello to Sally, waving their fancy tails and dorsals
lol ruby.
you must have got some brownie points for the nets!
Hi. I just saw how many words HOLLY CRAP
It's a really really easy grid so far herin, very few odd words.
morning all
Hi sprite.
No K words today :-)
hi Sally, no, easy peasy ;)
Why do you hate them so? You have the letter K in Dutch, don't you?
In fact, I would think that most of our K words are derived from Dutch or similar.
simply because I cannot find them. And yes, I can usually find 10 or more dutch K words. But no english ones.
Hi Sprite and Infernal
hello lyn xxx
Was there really an article in the Daily Mail about Babble 5 years ago sprite? (Always look at yur icon)
that is what FMitch said, and it was on the 10th of August, hence today's theme :)
I believe it was the first time we had really an influx of several new players at once.
There is a grid? not really thinking Hi lynxx an Sprite and Sally
Perhaps when it is re-vamped, Dr-G should try for another article in a paper so bring up the numbers and bring him in some income.
hi lady
Waves.
Must go get dinner amd such
bye lady, see you later
back again.
with semi healthy food
98 to find later. Must go and do some chores, and be back later. Bye all.

Bye Sally HUH sprite
afk = away from keyboard :-) repoofs

Trust me to come in just as herin is streaking!
That got someones attention
Hello
hi for 2nd time today. Sorry I had to dash away from messenger but I got the offer of a lift to the post office.
O no drama
Hi sprite. You still there?
I covered my eyes, Hydra.
Morning!
(((((jacula))) How's the foot?
I was kiding. HI JAC
Tells you in my profile, Hydra. Aches.:-(
Hi Herin.
Aaah. I've been following your blog.
I've got to go to your 'favourite' place later, Hydra - the dentist. Just a check-up, I hope.
I hope, too. My dentist aka The Brute has left a sharp bit that I keep cutting my tongue on. It's hard to talk at the moment. Good luck!
Must ring you sometime for a chat, Jac. When's a good time?
My dentist left a sharp bit one time, he covered it for me when I went back a couple of days after we a so4 tongue.
Hydra - about 1-2ish, (afternoon) is good, but not today.
I almost used that word. Oops! The Brute left me with a sharp bit for two whole years. Two years of tongue ulcers. He wouldn't do anything about it. OK, I'm out that time tomorrow, so Thurs or Fri.
Okay, Hydra. Looking forward speaking to you again.
Must start work. By Jac and herin. *poof*
'Bye Hydra.
back, hi all
Hi sprite. Bye hydra
bye hydra, hi lady
Hello Sprite.
hi Jac :)
So, it's 5 years since I found Babble! Little did I know when I typed the web address in... LOL

I ahve no idea how i found this
Herin - quite a few people arrived via 'stumbleupon'. Maybe it was that?
Looking

welcome back, dizgrannie.
THe archives reveal nothing. HI Diz.
thnx Jac, didn't really leave...silly me forgot to logoff before I went so made a new ID for the duration...lol...addicted or what?
LOL,dg!
Hi Herin
Diz did you like Tassie?
Herin, 2nd time there and lurve it....if not for other dtr here in NSW, me an hubby would move down there
different atmosphere altogether
I love going there
dtr is in Devonport, but this time we travelled down to Port Arthur, loved the original history, but the 'broad arrow cafe' memorial seemed real spooky, if you know what I mean.
We did the ghost tour down there
hi dizgrannie, welcome home
brb - 'phone
hey ya sprite!. Herin, would lurve to do the ghost tour - how did you find it?
hello everyone
hello Katie
hey Katie
just read the very sad news about Tim, such saddness
yes I saw it on Jac's icon/profile. So sad. They were so beautiful together.
Spookie Diz that tour
And yes so sad about Tim.
very glad Featherbee followed her gut feeling and managed to get the gift over to them so quickly. It may mean something to Jellen that she was able to share it with Tim.
gm ladies
Hi Esprite
hi dJean
Hi. Just checked out the ChipIn site, Feather has updated it with what she has done with the money collected. Lots of lovely things, I hope they brighten Jellen up a bit during this dark time
it definitely means a lot to know that people care, I can tell you that from personal experience
good idea, am gonna check it out too. Knowing that people care is really a blessing.
Hi Lynxxx and Jean. I will need to wait until hubby comes home to make a donation but will go on then
hi Katie

HI MOOOOM
{{{Herin}}} good evening
loves my babble budds
hi mom
and we love you
Hi Ardilla
so sad about Tim. I got in tonight and found out. I was so sad
I need to not look at the stats .... 51 R words, 44 M words, 31 O words. I am so screwed
oh Herin, it is such a shame. I hope he didn't have to suffer terrible
terribly*
I found out though that 2 of my friends were due yesterday or this week. I am sure SadySolar had her second yesterday.
that is wonderful news Herin
I have to believe some were in my heart that the Gods needed 2 special angels to fill the gap of one gone to the Gods
*and NO thank you on bringing up those stats*
**sorry**
Grid does fly though
Hi (((Mom and herin)))
it does, already have 51 words
Hi Annie
sere
{{{Annie}}}
Mom, I read your profile and I cannot thank you enough for saying the candle is from me also. You are a sweetheart.
you are so welcome Annie.
I just started this monster.
it isn't bad at all Annie
I have found 180 out of my brain so not bad
oh good.
it is a quick one for a change.
dont ask how i did that
although I am quite certain I do not know 13 V words
it is because you are an intelligent young lady, Herin
bah
because you have a good brain, herin
n
good morning friends. LOL mom about the V words....it's how I feel about the all F words today -- usually just use the one...
Morning Trif
Hi Inge
hi ardilla, hi Mom, hi Annie, hi Trif
Trif ! good morning !
OK so go figure this idiot idea. Young men are drinking way too much alcohol. SO lets increase the tax. Or maybe they should not have the stupid high cost of the premix
oh Trif, and that one F word is "Fudge"
morning.
Hi spritey
Trifs
{{Sprite}}
Trifs so the kids driving you batty yet?
LOL mom -- yes, I am much more careful now. You spend 17 years parroting "say thank you! say thank you!" and the ONE TIME you drop a ham on my foot and let go the F bomb? THAT they remember, chapter and verse.
my thanks for the British newspapers and the USA today for their articles on Babble 5 years ago. I had my anniversary on the 1st of August
Not yet, Herin. I have just been hugging the stuffing out of them.
sorry, afk again... it is one of those rotten days
were they at Dads?
Primo totalled his car yesterday, and I have been hugging him and thanking God for sparing him every five seconds. It was VERY VERY scary
yes herin
oh Sprite, I am sorry it is a rotten day
O sweet ### Is he ok?
Good Morning
sprite, sorry you are having a bad day
so glad he wasn't hurt Trif
Hi River
{{River}} good morning
Good morning everyone
Hi River. and Sea. Trifs how did the lad do that?
Trif, what a scare, glad he is okay
yes, herin, and in this instance it is fine to say "sweet jesus" as that is who delivered him safe to me
hi seaspray
morning Sea
Wow, big grid today!
wish jesus could deliver us another car, however. I don't know how I am going to replace it. Mr. hate has the money sitting in an account, and won't give it.
hi all
Hi Stefaneechi
so glad he is OK Trif
Tell him to stop being a friggen tool and cough up
hi trif *hugs glad primo's okay
Trifs can teh car be fixeed?? HI Stef
It's because he is such a good driver that he is okay. He was driving my old jeep, which was on it's absolute last legs. He was driving down a main road, and the driver's side front wheel just....came off. The lug nuts had rusted through, and the entire tire, hub, wheel, everything just popped off. He said he "remembered his physics" and angled the car hard to the right, which let him get to the shoulder safely, and THEN he let the car sink on to the empty side.
hi sea river stef sprite inge annie
so..goodmorning everyone
hi ardilla and carleekat
{{Carlee}} good morning
hi ardilla, carlee, steph
hi carlee
HI Carlee
Hi ardilla...that happened to me once Trif...in a 72 volkswagen glad he is fine
Hi Carlee
Trif, OMG what a frightening thing..smart kid
{{mom}} so..whats up everyone?
looks like i'll quitting this grid
is it time for bed, Ardilla?
ard, no, stay
do what you can ardilla - first half goes fast
crud, now I am crying (again) thinking of all that could have happened, and didn't. what if someone had hit him? what if some poor mom was walking with her baby and the flying tire hit her? okay, this needs to stop. HE IS FINE
puter keeps freezing and i have to get up early for a mock physical fitness test
TRif HE IS FINE. TAKE A DEEP BREATH.
i know, i know. it's silly....
cant live on what ifs..there enough s$$$ in this world..dont go looking for more
*bear hugs for trif...and choco :)
Trif, It is not silly. Youre a Mom. But he is okay.
yah, got another re7
Trifs can I say something at least he was a smart kid and remembered to keep his head
only 324 to go
Trifiosso - thank God he's safe, and no-one else was hurt. We can always manage without the car, but ou kids are irreplaceable.
yep, trif, you raised him well!
you can do it Ardilla
whoohooo ardilla
Yay Ardilla.
okay. ardilla, I have to ask - what is a "mock" physical fitness test? do you pretend to do jumping jacks?
it's one that the score doesn't count; it's to see where i am fitness-wise
the air force has fitness tests 2x a year, and the standards changed last month
lol trif - I need to get back to work for a bit - see you all in a while - happy babbling
bye bye River, have a good day
Take care River
if i don't do well, extra scrutiny is placed on me
later river
bye river
i need coffee
not meeting the standards can cost me my career
*hands carlee a latte
The d, e, r, and s, are perfectly placed to give you five words for the price of one.
Ardilla, good luck
oh dear ardilla! well then, best of luck!!! I won't use the phrase we usually use in the theatre world, as it seems inappropriate in this circumstance
Hi Christine
thanks ardilla..i am being incredibly lazy this am... i just asked my daughter to make me coffee
Hi, couldn't sleep, came online to find eleven words.
yes..they are christine
thanks
crud...starting to yawn...meds taking effect
wheee - typo for the win! yay!
Must go out and do some weeding, it's supposed to be 98 degrees today so I had better go now...bbl ...have a good day all
Damn it my brat cat is hogging the heater
bye bye Sea, stay cool
byebye sea
good morning Babblers ")
98..oh i wish
bye sea spray!
where are u sea?
its too cludy here to get warm at all
95 here today
Hi Nono
cloudy* even
{{Nono}} good morning
is herin still here?
well then come on down here Carlee you'll see the sun and feel plenty of warmth
i justr want my pool to get used
yes
primo put photos on his FB page...you can see the car for your very self.
It looks like a busted wheel no body damage. Unless you need to replace the whole shaft thing then sadly you are shafted (maybe someone will buy car for parts)
leaking brake line, rear disc shot, front axle cracked, lug nuts gone, rear suspension compromised....etc.
ahh then sadly the car is :(
Trif, it would seem like your ex would want the children to be safe and would cough up the money to see that they are
you would think that, but no. he spent all the college money on his house, and now he is being wicked stingy with the money we had left over, as he knows there isn't enough for college now.
oh Trif, that is not right. What will the children do now for college
Trif, how heartless of him to use the college funds for his own use. I hope he has to pay a huge tax penalty for doing that
I hope you got a share of all that money
The sad thing is Trifs your kid was being sensible. My friends brother got a new car at the value of $6 000 after totaling his last one being stupid and driving unregistered and unlicenced
take out loans. which i was dead set against.
oh Trif, so sorry
Mutters something about mr hateful being made to use his 401k for the kids
agreed Herin
*sends flying monkeys to retrieve funds from the big meanie
i am not sure what to tell the car insurance company. if they rule that primo was in an "accident" his rates will go up. but if I don't tell them, we won't get any money for the car, which we prob wouldn't any way, but what now? and how do you junk a car, anyway? are there people who will take it?
screw the flying monkeys sends you my size 10 steel cap boots to kick his butt for you
I am not at all concerned with mr. hate's fate. Karma is on it for me, and I trust she will do right by me.
First of all there is people that take junkers. You could always look on say EBay at what junkers go for or um speak to a wreakers
yes trif junk yard most generaly will pay for junk cars and haul them away, altho the price they give will be low
But Trifs I want to hurry karma up and have his dogma run over.
It may be covered under comprehensive, which should not raise rates... and yes, there are people who will come haul the vehicle away for scrap.
oooh... good idea, herin...I have size 6.5 steel toed boots
thanks you guys. babble fixes everything, doesn't it!
Hang on if the wheel just feel off is that an insurance issue as to whether the car was in an accident as opposed to it just up and pooed itself?
the cop who came to the site said he wasn't listing it as an accident. I think I will just tell the company we decided to get rid of the car, as it is not worth fixing. can't be the first time they heard that, right?
true
i guess not
should not be considered an accident but the adjuster will take into account the age/sex of the driver and may not give the benefit of doubt...
and I don't think that is a lie, either. it wasn't in an accident. it did just poo on itself, and we did decide to junk the car.
esp, with ol5 ones
insurance companies are so fickle. If you feel they wont give you much of anything for it then I wouldnt report it Trif
insurance will only pay if you had full coverage vice liability only...
the last mechanic who fixed it for us (last week mind you, so that was money well spent!) told us not to waste money fixing it again. I can certainly tell the insurance company that.
besides, the deductible for the car is probably 10 x the value of the car anyway.
oooh! poor emo just jumped off the bed and LOAFED herself on a nearby chair. poor kitty!
would you get a profit reporting it to the insurance?
I had a windshild crack for cold stress one time, insurance paid to replace it but I ended up paying for it in the long run because of rate increase and loss of safe driver discount
why isn't voom a word? motorcycles say it all the time
i think it's vroom, ardilla
I did a grand worth of damage to himselfs car thank gods for insurance
oh...
It was funny Ardilla
why is mooer not in the grid... everyone knows a cow is a mooer
LOLO nono -- you remind me....my BF in high school's mom had a little round crack in her windshield, and she knew she wouldn't pass inspection with it, so she mixed up some mayo, some dill, and some other stuff and made fake bird poop to cover the crack. and she passed!
time for me to scoot off here. {{Hugs}} to all of you
((((((((MOM)))))))
now, i have that mazda song stuck in my head...vroom vroom vroom
{{{Herin}}} pleasant dreams
hugs back mom
Ardilla I was practicing parking and the lemon tree attacked the car. Busted the headlights and bumper
nite herin
{{Trif}} take care, and I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around
O and I was doing about 5ks an hour
now I have "lemon tree" stuck in my head!
i concur, carlee, cows are definitely mooers
I did get called George for a while
gn mom
cool
oops - I missed one! count for top right i please?

just found adult movies...
thanks! nbt
i totaled my first car on black ice...something about spinning and hitting a wooden fence =bent frame
LOL carlee, I was confused for a minute there....
i miss my honda civic...she was a good car
opps see that is an accident but hitting the tree was stupid
me, too, trif :)
sorry..not in the conversation..just adding my random 2 cents here and there
what is the general feeling about audis? good cars? there is one for sale near here for not too much money
when i first got my license, i was driving my moms car. did a u-turn, which mid-turn it occurred to me i had never actually done before -- totally oversteered, hopped the curb. ended up with a bent wheel + a broken axel. *oopsie*
oh, and g'mornin all. :)
Hi Eva
hi evaN
haven't heard anything bad about them...my mom wants to get one
the audi will be expensive to fix
hi eva
Trif, my sil has an audi and he is happy with it
hi kje
Trifs. I recomend seeing how much the parts are if something goes wrong.
hi kje
okay. expensive to fix sounds ominous
hi all
hi.. i have an audi... absolutely... terrific in snow, tremendously comfortable (lumbar support) but yes, expensive to fix
annie, your sil is a man? tell us more! this sounds intriguing!!!
Trif LOL sil---son in law
oh wait - did you mean son in law? I thought sister in law....duh me!
snap
dorens, you are in the grid today
Ok the last 100 is a pain even with lis
so i am, annie. i'm amazed at how often i am in the grid... but then again, my letters are common
well, time for bed...0530 will be here before i know it

Lady Gaga says, "I'll sleep when I'm dead." Ambitious to say the least.
hello
Hiya, Phae!
Has Jellen been on today?
Guess not...didn't mean to kill the chog
Haven't seen her, Phae. I imagine she is very busy right now.
Unfortunately, I'm sure she is.
I managed to get NBT, but with this many words, that probably will be the easiest thing on this grid :)
there are some difficult, uncommon words
i'm sure there are, cuz there usually is...
i think i screwed that up grammatically :)
In four places, heh.
that bad?
But there are more difficult words than usual, even.
i don't think I even know 44 words that begin with M!!
i've managed to find 25 of them
then there are the 38 P words and the 32 R words...never ending
i have 29, and thanks for pointing out that there are more daunting tiles. ;-)
:D
I would love a clue for the E in the 2nd column, 2nd from the bottom....
fenciing term
i have two of those...not sure which one came from that...try ep4
e + op of neg
i thought that came from the bottom E?
thanks City 17!
fencing term
almost to no blank tiles
got the swordy thing
e + sounds like what you do on a rotary telephone (+ plural)
oh, okay, wasn't sure about that first one coming from the relevant 'e'.
op of neg?...yes, affirmative, yep, aye...?
magnets have two sides, negative and...
ty...
thanks for the E's

is there anything else we can do for Jellen?
Poor Jellen... she is such an amazing woman
interesting, crossy.. it is so ingreained that the sun causes it, it would not immediately occur to me since you live in a colder cimate
ok am going to have to go looking for that one..wait.. Millcroft...yes it's still open :)
<snorting> sorry TO... we've had heat in the high 90's for the last month up here...
hi carlee
that is it..millcroft... was amazing when i was there..mind was 20 years ago
Hi again MRP... so besides being spoiled wrotten... how are things?
it's still up and running..an institution that place is
and...crossy is in ski country... u get sunburns when skiing as the sun's rays bounce off the snow...
T.O, as a construction worker in my early 20,s i often spent all day in the blazing sun with no sun screen and nary a thought of it.it can often get over 80f in june july and august here even in our lattatudes
frogive my appalling lack of knowledge of geopgraphy...i assuemd you had "shorter" summers
and even when it doesn't FEEL hot? it's still doing damage
but having a bro in that trade i see the risk
not to worry i have aslo felt -40 f here in january,so we get a nice variety
<grin> that's ok TO.. sorry guys..gotta feed the huskies for a few lol
not sure your age crossy, but in my early 20's they didn't even have sun screen yet
we have shorter summers...but we do see the sun up here... its not like we are in total darkeness for 6 months of the year...mind..we do hide in our igloss :)
<puts on parka and mukluks>
huskies eat a lot!!
i could use an igloo today
takes hours to get all the fish you know
the heat of the sun doesn't cause cancer...it's the UV rays...right?
ok, ok *laughing*
carlee, doing ok thanks darling! has been forever since chatting with you!! how are you going??
i am a young pup dorens,naught but 46
yes phae... and hello!!
TO...here is avideo my daughter was in... it pokes fun at canadians...you can open the lyric in the description..there is a down arrow... we make fun of ourselves all the time
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZWxeIo JH14
Hi mrp...how goes it downunder?
us Canucks have great sense of humour eh? :)
I watched 'wife swap usa' today and there was this chick who worshipped the sun... I wanted to jump through the tv screen and strangle her!
yes carlee,i find igloos such a chore dont you find?..and rendering whale blubber for the lamps..has to be a better way...lol
oh.. i am still trudgging through the quagmire that is mylife pressie
ah, i am trying to doo 2 weeks worth of laundry catch up on mail and clean before heading back up to fest today
tanning beds are just as dangerous..gee lets go PAY..to get sick
we are soaking here in rain... but that is a very good thing for our region... bad thing for our soccer!
anyway..TO take alook its a cute video... MRP saw it..she will attest to its cuteness
too right kalyn... they should be banned
*sigh* if only you could see some of the fester w
hello everybody
I don't mind the blubbler so much..but chewing the caribou hide..is just ruining my teeth..can't keep them white
this week i want to go up to them and shake them, they are so tan
cuteness at 100%
howdy ruby
and they will find something wrong with the spray on tan later down the road
WB ruby
i am sure it is just cute as a button!
common kalyn,i need a new pair of mocs...
it's all chemical
my polar bear is getting old...he keeps running to keep my generator going...i think i need to put himout on an ice flow and find a young'un

*sigh* ok ok Cross I'll chew up the hide but you find me a young seal
yes TO?
Is that an Aussie thing?
i get this message: The URL contained a malformed video ID.
i use my sled dogs carlee, they are on a old nordic track tread mill in combination with a alternator from a 66 pontiac and i can run this computer on 6 frozen fish per day;)))
carlee... you can trudge all you like, you are still beautiful and warm and close to us all!
lol @ Crossy
MRP-I used tanning tabs back in 69 while I was in college
i dont know what happened
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZWxeIo JH14
well, in the early 80's they sold tanning tablets... and you would get very orange skin from them... and orange plasma too!!
copy and paste it into your broswer..it works
if that does not work.. go to you tube and type in canadian girls - GM 2010
i remember those lol
probably just huge amounts of vitaminA
so so so scary seeing people like 'george hamilton' orange walking around... they banned them cause they were dangerous
in the 60's you had to have Rx to get them-they were for fiar skinned folks who burned easily but tanners like me could buy them & get darker-never was orange
*fiar*
oh wow scribe!! that is amazing!! did they work for you??
i loved them
if it ain't natural...it usually turns out to be dangerous
man, and as a redhead i would have loved them. but i don't remember even knowing about that... probably a good thing
when I lived in Miami, I worshipped the sun and stayed really dark all the time. Then I got a different kind of cancer! Go figure
pretty much phae
well- it probably was dangerous but so were the other 'drugs' i was taking at the time
hahah kid!
we went to the blood bank back in '82 and they showed us a bag of plasma of someone who had taken the tanning tablets... their plasma was fluro orange!! We all freaked out!!
no excuse but it was the 60's!
sure... 1969? good times...
scribe! good to see you survived that lot!!
oooh...that is gross
from what little i remember -it was good
oh, yes, the 60's!!!!!
hi ruby!! ((hugs))
thanks, MRP-I'm pushing 60 & IO'm amazed i'm still here!
lol kid
hi ruby

did u get it to work TO?
I'm pushing it from the other side, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, lol.....)
oh scribe! 60 is the new 40!
her mrp
this is a great form of group therapy!
here, deep tans are mostly for the tourists and beach bunnies, when i lived further north i could never be bothered with a tan, with 8 months of howling blizzards for the rest of the year,it seemed unimportant lol

( crossy i was almost up that way next week...trying to go camping..macgregorpoint is all books..not sure i want to go all the way up to sauble falls for a 4 day camp...but maybe
Isn't there a Babbler get together going on near stid's place soon? And another one coming up in DC in October I think?
yep
ruby can't poof!
stuck again
haha! glad you are here!
it is hard to book a place now, with summer in full swing, many book the year before when they leave to retain a space
I am being totally thick with this grid, and yet it is easy yes??
CYA ALL LATER, GETTING BABBLE EYED HERE LOL
this just a camp site... sheesh...
we could just do the babble convention at my place???
anyway *poof*
well, the first 100 are not bad,but i am still hiding from the total word count;/
bye carlee!
i don't see Blue Mtn crossy...where on the Bay?
georgian bay,collingwood ontario
not big by west coast standards but it does us fine
clue for the wi7, second one?
OMG! I am actually playing and asking for clues! Luv it!
we could all rent kayaks and scrabbs could teach us on the nottawasaga river;)
lol mrp..you must get in here more often;0
too right crossy! my fun-o-meter is off the radar when I am here!
you are almost directly across from me...crossy
thank god it is a rare event, but when babble is down,i am lost
where are you phae?
Northeast Michigan on Lake Huron...little town called Harrisville
ahh,i can drive there in 4 hours
:-)
funny us canucks eh? we do distances in time driven not miles most of the time;)
here too
good morning everyone
howdy flosey
clue for the ep6?
hi flosey
hi flosey!!
hi crossy. my husband always says it's women that say distance in time instead of miles (but that is here in suburbia)
there are 2 ep6 - ep + when you bake you use a t**** so it doesn't overbake
though it get depressing when we drive out west..yes..i can be there in 2 weeks or so...
ty flosey
nice clue flosey
the other, ep * did you see the recent epis**** of your favourite tv show - and plural
thanks mrp
and yw phae
ty again
yw, does anyone have the le8?
ty flosey,fine clues indeed
yw crossy
fo8?
premonition of destructon paheton
ty ruru
the le8 is so stupid! le + expensive tile/letter + vowel and drugger
thanks mrp
Good morning / afternoon Babble friends!
hi car!! (hugs)
hi car
hi all
Hi m!
oh wow, it is morning here... Wednesday morning! but can't sleep so will hang out with the gang until the sandman comes
hi m9 :)
hi Car and m
not getting the le8
Hi Nono!
hmmm, not getting that le8
expensive tile is not clear to me
high count tile ru
wow.. the se words were easy, but finding them was tough!! I am losing my touch here!
Churchill's favorite letter
le 8 i get too many letter with that clue! :/
expensive tile is a high tile count...
sorry, should have made that clear! oops!
the drugee is the drug used for aids?
i get that not the end :(
le7?
1st three- is the beginning of to rise up
sometimes preceded by L-
I equate a druggie to a dopehead
TY! it's the parkinson's disease drug!
so the do4 of the druggie and change the last letter to the first vowel
use the gangstah ending
thank you owl!
ty Owl...new it was a drug for something
whew, got it, thanks everyone
gangstah werked fer me!
ok, this grid is a lot harder than I thought it would be!! :/
it seemed to start out easy mrp but then you hit a few brick walls
is amazing how the english language has changed over the last 20 years! there is no way we would have used gangstah words before... now it is the norm and has changed our language forever!!
I leave it for a few and come back and get BAM 7 or 8 words in a row... it's one of those...
I have been chewing a few bricks getting to any words!! very difficult tonight
hi ame :)
yes amelu, I do that too - go away and have a cuppa
lol, watch your pearlies there mrp
hiya mrp *waves* good to see you up and visiting!
and how much do I HATE re words tonight!!!
:D !
my :D is now :B
the le 8 evaded me totally
help with the mo8?
just coming to it phae, let's see
le*itate...to raise/ vowel...drug for parkinson
crossy, le*el is flat; + vowel +someone who uses drugs
only change the last vowel in the word to the 1st vowel
mo7 and mo8... portugese gold coin/plural
ty..i needed to be led by the nose to see that one:/
mo 7 and 8 = m + robotic ending + what you row a boat with (spelt wrong) and pl for the 8.
Holy cow, FM, how'd you come up with that?!?!?!
ty Fm
ty ((FM))
lol was pondering it amelu :)
M's Done!!!
and hello all.

we haven't had much rain today, will be picking fresh salad for dinner
I am very happy with my first attempt at gardening in such a long time, it really does look lovely and nothing died! Annie this is the rare rain, we hadn' had any for almost 7 weeks before it started ti sprinkle and then get serious.
Hi Katie.
loved sterling vineyards... been there twice, but would like something different this time
Hi FM

Hi ruby
what lance armstrong did? change last vowel
reading back, ty for the words! but still can't find the le8
no no no! dorens. I am trying not to believe it; he's my hero!
add on to the le4/7 above it
dunno ruby, but now that they're watching him closely he's not doing so well, is he?
I hope not; I think he's just too old!
maybe I'm on the wrong track -- just assumed the first 4 letters would be the lo 4/7
hello annie
don't know what Lance Armstrong did either
oh well, maybe another clue will turn up
what did his legs do on the bicycle - remove one cons
he's just a big do**
hey all. Oh, BIG grid!
{{dancer}}
Hi Stid!
good thing I am taking today as my LAZY day! LOL I am not going to any work (except I will finish clearing off one surface)
Hello ((RUBY)), stid, dorens, nan and even you ruru (even if you dont like me anymore)

BTW, how did you get your name in there do****?
hello everyone that came in while I was de** in the grid
oh! LOL yes doren, I passed the reading endorsement exam, which means that once I get certification as teacher I can teach "reading" as a subject. Grades K-12,
paid off dr_g, ruby
hello katie
she must KNOW people
your gardening efforts sound great!
ahah!
whooohooo stid - big congrats to you
and that isn't call for congrats?
yay stid!
I've started buying gardening mags instead of gossip ones - it's official I am middle aged!!
:-D yes, I guess so. I quite relieved...
I did that for two years before we moved here, for help in designing this garden
well done Katie! next step: listening to gardening shows (as I am doing while I babble)
they don't call it reading anymore here stid, it is "literacy"!
I'm hoping to stay strong on that one for a few more years! I don't 'do' flowers so it has to be capable of being eated if it want's a fair chance
truthfully, is IS "literacy" but the actual title of the endorsement is "reading" Washington is a little slow to update terminology... I think because it tends to freak parents out.
my daughter has watched HGTV for about 5 years and she is only 24
hello seaspray
ah, but then your daughter is PRECOCIOUS Sea! (of course!)
Hi there ruby
hi ses
*sea
help with the le7 please
sorry river, only up to 53 so far...
don't have le7 or 8
That she is Stid...She is an RN who works in geriatrics
The le7 is kind of like the le***** disease with a different last letter
oh! GOT IT! like that skin disease!
hey cbr!
Hi - how is everyone today?

Ruby, how is your husband getting along?
thanks for the M clue *thinking*
hi cbr, crossy, (((Jellen)))
he is depressed and miserable, has decided not to take pain killers so walks around with a scowl on his face
annie:))
((jellen))
mo7 - French for me + alernate spelling of what you enter through
oh gee ruby, not another "man" *sigh* does he not understand that often healing is sped up when pain is managed?
I told the gendarmes that the people were trying to get me to drop the charges and they said that I couldn't even if I wanted to!! hah
got it! excellent clue cbr! thanks!
you know what I tell them, if you don't want to take the meds, suffer then lol
le8 -= le + you must write **i* on a check that is no good anymore + I never liked the **er* with all those high voices (not a very good clue - will try again if anyone wants it)
tell him life is too short for that crap ruby, find what eases his mind, tell him to get a hobby..cannot spend your life being miserable
Thanks, cbr and interesting, crossy!
ty cbr
(((jellen)))
I think feeling terrible fits in nicely with his general pessimism
great clue cbr - thanks
are his wounds healing okay though ruby?
pardonne-moi, ruby, but didn't he always walk around with a scowl on his face before this?
one is and the other probably will need to be "worked on" before it can heal
I must get back to work - bye for now everyone
wow river, got it. ty
hahah dorens, ty for making me laugh
i cannot stand miserable people,i am a taurus,i am like a mood receptor of the vibes around me,so i stick with happy people

((((jellen)))) love you! see you later
bye ((jellen))
hi jellen,... (hugs)
first the man came "to apologize" and to get me to drop the complaint and then the next day his wife telephoned to say that my husband is a liar!
Bye jellen ( hugs)
bye jellen
wow ruby hard to lie about a wound like that
so anything new and exciting today in babbleland?
do you know if the dog has attacked anyone else?
um... Katie McG is getting gardening magazines?
that's pretty new....
I don't know but it was a rescue dog, so his past is unknown and it's a difficult breed from what I've read, must be trained from puppyhood
hmmmm...hey i did some housework... and i really want to bake something amazign with blueberries but i havent found the right recipe.... i want it to scream the flavour of blueberry
he doesn't have rabies, though
how about a crumble, carlee, served warm with sweet cream?
so the rabies shots were for a precaution?
wow. housework! *has to sit down and rest just thinking of that*
glad it doesn't have rabies.
yay for no rabies
*packs up to move in with ruby, who has great culinary ideas*
yes, I guess so
very conservative approach but husband wants to finish the course of shots.....huh?
i KNOW stiddy... scrubbed downstairs bathroom..and downstairs hall...
I don't have blueberries, but could make one with blackberries straight from the garden, stidmama
rofl... THAT caught ruby's attention! *wicked mama grin*
ruby...i've had crumbles and buckles....and pies...not cutting it... i just want something... more...cant explain
oh! see? I have blackberries in the driveway! I could make a crumble (with minimal effort if the boys do the picking)
"essence of blueberries" hmm -- thinking
wine?
a blueberry clafouti would be lovely, carlee, and not much more work than a crumble
just...screams at you...THIS it the biggest blueberry flavour ever..
how about a vodka/blueberry smush?
here is a rare and very nice video of led zeppelin doing stairway to heaven in 1971;) http://video.google.com/videoplay?doci d=-8850744932516345221#
not big on clafoutis
pa
clafouti is a good idea
they dont rock my world
and what is a clafouti?
they rock mine!!!!
( out of vodka...<sigh> )
I have three rescue dogs and one of them is the most submissive dog I had ever seen. One day, however, he went after a neighbor. Didn't bite or anything but it was totally out of character so you can't be too careful. Then again my pekepoo (years ago) sought out and bit my two year old requiring 8 stitches in his face. Never bit anyone before or since so all dogs are unpredictable.
it's a cross between a cake and a flan and has fresh fruit, usually cherries, in it
blueberry wine cooler?
that is so true, cbr, one doesn't know with dogs.
google it west... i find them eggy... last one i had was pear..i've had peach and cherry too...they are ok
cbr, I am all for rescue dogs, but this one weighs about 100 lbs
float fresh blueberries with lemonade and vodka - oops not supposed to be here
My lucky is a rescue, and really generally very marshmallowy -- let's face it, he's a shy dog -- but I have to be so careful when workmen come to the house. He really doesn't like certain types of men (which speaks to his background I think)
okay carlee lol
and the people are sort of strange. If they don't put the dog down, I think the villagers will go after them with pitchforks
someone said..vodka...
back soon
blueberry cheesecake?
first pr 6, please?
not blueberry enough..competing with the cake
blueberries with cut up white peaches and cream, of course
Oh, I didn't think you were saying anything bad about rescue. I was actually agreeing since one of mine that is always submissive did that. And any dog that is 100 pounds needs to be watched really carefully regardless of where they came from.
I think "voom" should count as a word. the sound that a very very fast jet makes when it is close to the ground....
oh i will figure it out...likely just make muffins tho..,sigh>
I think it's spelled vroom!
carlee -- how would lemon cupcakes with blueberries taste?
pr6 - Pr* that means before plus the first three letters of what your arms and legs are.
oh. you're probably right ruby...
yummmm...i usually put lemon in wiht blueberry as it enhances the bb flavour
I'm back from my clafouti lesson. Sounds really good but the recipe I looked at suggested an asbestos mat..wonder how old that was?
I think that inbred dogs (like mine) frequently have many more problems than rescue dogs. But this woman works for the SPA (like ASPCA) and should have known better. After all, why would someone have abandoned a beautiful big dog like that?
ty cbr
off to get a cuppa -- brb
:-D actually, that DOES sound good, and I have a half flat of blueberries I need to use today. Maybe I'll do lemon cupcakes with blueberries, too!
ohh coffee would be nice right now
i'm restless today
coffee.... oh! my boys brought me tea! *reaches for now cool enough cup*
edgy
how about just blueberries and cream?
It could have been economic reasons ruby. Nevertheless they should have been more vigilant with it around strangers.
obsessing about sweet cream!
carlee, you're a long way away from me, right? middle of the continent. *thinking* I suppose that's too far for a visit.
should have been muzzled when outside..that is the result of my neighbours dog..after it bit me whiost mauling my friends little spitz
stiddie are you ill or just being pampered?
I don't think so, the woman works as a volunteer
i am fairly close to either detroit or toronto
otherwise, you could come over here, I could get up and we could be restless getting my office to rights! and talking... and waiting for our goodies to bake.
it's a very cool day today, so this may be my last chance for baking for a while.
a bit far stiddy
evidently, she can control the dog but her husband cannot
nice and warm here....
I am being pampered. I used to give myself a day a week, but realized this morning that I have now gone about a year without a day of real rest.
ruby doesn't sound like he even tried
VERY warm here, almost 100
well then you deserve it !!
is lovely here
no, he dropped the leash when it lunged at husband
some people !!
Good afternoon friends
the gendarmes are really impressive! more like marines then policemen
hi bob
hi mr. bob
i had about 3 years of no rst until this summer..enjoying my summer...
I just mean maybe the previous owner surrendered the dog due to money. Big dogs eat a lot.
than* duh
thanks, west. It feels good to give myself full permission to lounge about for a change. I think I will do this again for the next two weeks also, after that, no chance to breathe until close to December.
hi mr bob
hey bob
Seriously, a rescue person should follow their own advice about dogs to keep people and the dogs safe.
yes carlee, you had such a long haul. (((Hugs))) I am glad you have time and space to rest a little now.
bbl...
aah, I thought you meant it the other way. Maybe, but to buy an expensive big dog like that in the first place seems odd. I don't know, really, I just like chow chows
later Sea ((hugs))
I like them too but they are known for being unpredictable as a breed.
bye seaspray
oh, I have been here for an HOUR! LOL almost to halfway.
chows?
I really like their black tongues!
I think I will get halfway and then go check my emails and such.
there is a chow in our neighborhood that on occasion roams... it's very skittish, so we just leave it alone.
Chows have a reputation for being biters. I like them, and their black tongues too.
it was a chow that bit me that is now muzzled
"our" breeder, destroys any puppies that show ANY aggressive tendencies. We've had 5 chows from there, outside of Toronto, and they've all been wonderful and affectionate. They're good guard dogs as far as notifying us if someone is at the gate, but they've never bitten.
Afternoon
also, sometimes a black pot-belly pig gets loose....
hi red
oh my! I feel bad for you carlee! They have very big teeth
it wasnt a bad bite thankfully...it got out of its yard and ata
Ok I am saying hello but I do seem to be getting the old chog, so until it catches up, hello!
but the one that worries me is when the dwarf australian sheepdog gets out. She's very old, completely deaf. and was mean when she was young. She is a little scary, though no bigger than a large cat...
hey red!
and attacked my girls friends spitz...the spitz needed surgery..ruptured intestine and stomach
oh, that poor puppy!
but we have found them very gentle; I think it depends how they are bred and then how they are treated. They are unforgiving and independent, much like cats
i hauled that stupid ass dog off the wee thing... ( broke a couple manicured nails whilst at it..i was pissed)
but I would trust them with my life!
that's a bad story, carlee! I'm sorry
there. just passed halfway.
not bad for an hour's play.
but i just grabbed 2 hands at the scruff and hauled... and it bit me...spun head around and bit me... I kicked it in the chest and by then the owner arrived
gj stid !!
pompom shake for stiddy
that is terrible!
I have one rescue, stray really, that we got as a puppy that looks kind of rottweilerish and she is completely docile and friendly . Only dogs that ever bit me were a German Shepherd and a Welsh Terrier.
shit happens..usually around me
I am glad you were there carlee... I was frozen when lucky went after a raccoon a few weeks ago. the coons around here DO have rabies, and I just ... couldn't chance getting in the wya.
Ahhh chog has caught up with me, I have 290 left, I just woke up.
my husband got bitten once before when a yellow lab attacked our old male chow, Rufus, and he tried to get between them
hello again red!
the dog that chewed me up was a Chihuahua. Not fond of them.
hi rth
afternoon gang
i grew up with chihuahuas
help for top I please
hi feather
I guess, in the end, you have to know the dog and the dog has to have owner who control it. From what I've read, most dog bits are from iniature poodles!
i am not liking this grid...
kje will love it
hi feather
I have not been bitten by a dog, but a muscovi duck tried to get me once when I was very little. Mother has film (moving pictures, no less) of my dad picking me up and getting me out of the way.
Believe it or not, we had a rabid raccoon go after some dogs we were keeping for a friend in our fenced yard. Dogs were bloody, killed the raccoon and animal control didn;t care enough to check it out. For dogs, studies show one set of rabies shots is enough to protect them for life. They just keep making you get them every year.
No bites here, grew up training dogs in 4-h club, cocker spaniel, dachshund, later showed a bloodhound and a german shepherd
oh, i heard someone else said it was good.. that's right, i like grids that you don't
SO far, I do like it, but I am now to 267.
that thing I just wrote had so many mistakes, it was like English wasn't my first language lol
I was bit while at work at the Emerg. vet clinic, sooo.
i've been bitten by a goose.
top i is in 4/4 babblet
go red go!
lol ruby
hey feather! (((hugs)))
ty
i haven't found a breed I don't like, but I'm not overly fond of chihuahuas and other small noisy dogs.
geese feather are really quite scary!
ooh all those candles are so pretty
my son was bit by a goose...i kicked it int he chest too when it bit him trying to get his french fries... stupid canadian geese bold as can be and mean
the yappy dogs instinctively scare me more than the big dogs. yeah, stupid goose. i'm very very respectful of them now.
I don't like anything that makes "yipping" sounds for no apparent reason...
i have a scar in the web between my thumb and pointer from it.
i can go back to my candle...hol don
yes geese who are fed by humans are frequently aggressive and they will bite to get what they want
now I'm really laughing! You kicked the goose!!!! I love it
*decides to wear a breastplate around carlee*
too many Bruce Lee movies!
Now we know what to protect when Carlee is provoked.
I was lucky in that my little dog scooter, who looked like a brown Toto, was not a barky terrier, he was awesome.
I think that should become an "known" expression, "kicking the goose", it could mean telling someone off.....or
i am not that bad people...
crap i am strill a crayon..am i a crayon to all of you too?
*loves carlee*
I see they crayon
*the
yes
but my favorite color crayon!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
it'll be the next "jump the shark"
lol
I never heard jump the shark! hahah
crayon, but when I click on you the candle shows, very nice one carlee.
Hello everybody.. :-)
I never heard "Jump the shark either!
nope, you're a candle now that i've refreshed
I just wouldn't want to have a dog that you could hurt by stepping on it. I'm always stepping on my dogs because I'm always carrying things
brb 4" spider on the wall, the boys are going to rescue me while I scream.
{{soodle}}
poor stid!
hi sood
Oh stid!
hides behind stid
what kind of spider? 4"???
let's feed it some flies
wolf spider I think...
or chihuahas....
DON'T LET IT NEAR YOUR 'PUTER STID....backing away from my screen......
yay for the boys!
OMG, in the house?
ok, question: what are your favorite apps for iphone?
what big eyes you have
pththhhhh
k have to go pick up the kid. I was late yesterday and he was not a happy camper
hi all
furry?
I like words with friends and google
hello jmc!!
spiders are good they eat mosquitoes
there... i am a candle again
Hi jmc.
hi jmc
i bet the camp staff weren't happy campers either.
ruby how is dh? and is the dog dead yet?
i've heard words with friends mentioned before, will def. check it out
it's football practice so they're there afterwards anyway
we have beautiful ones here that I feed, but only outside. In the house, smush!
in 100 degree heat .. the boys are there 5 hours a day this week
as long as you aren't a candle burning at both ends carlee
bbl
i dont have an iphone...
the dog doesn't have rabies, has not yet been put down, but the mayor and gendarmes will make sure it's done.
oh... usually i am jmc...but not this summer :)
carlee I think words works with all phones
lol i am too carlee so i have no room to talk
mine is a 3 year old LG shine slide
is the dog in quarantine?
good that it doesn't have rabies!
did I spell that correctly?
husband is crabby again, so I guess he's getting better
( but i still am in love with it...not ready to part with it yet)
yes, in doggie jail
usually that is what it means
okay, they got it down, they got it out... I get so SCARED of the big spiders!
was it really 4"?
hahaha...did u hear about our end of year camp in the spring stiddy???
we let the "hobgoblins" stay, jmc (little house spiders)
no carlee... didn't. does it involve spiders? *shudder*
the spiders I like are less than 2" and are multicolored and very pretty, argiopes
4
a relative of spiders....ticks...
common European garden spiders
Grant says it was a baby Acromantula... LOL
go nan go!
the camp site was thick with them...we had them crawling up our leggs... and saturday night iwas eating my salad out of a bowl...i looked down..one was setting on the edge of my bowl preparing to nose dive in
Aragog's relative?!
eeew
re: i -phone apps, when(if) i can lay my hand on one,i have already scoured the net for the best apps and have come up with my personal starter list...bejeweled,freecell,kingdom,scra bble, sims 3 for the mrs, bookworm, final fantasy, message in a bottle,i-fishing,marine sharpshooter,i-phones video cam app,..just apps for fun,i shall look up apps for work later:)
I don't mind the spiders - it is the giant roaches that freak me out.
( yeap...that is a relative of aragog)
ty crossy!
ok, gotta poof
bye feather
his kids traveled far and wide i guess
*!* ta da *!* - thanks for all the help :)
within 12 hours of arriving at camp i had removed with tweazers over 12 ticks from the girls
hm. no, I think actually it was a Hobo spider... much worse than a wolf spider. but it was FREAKING HUGE! WAY bigger than Hobos are supposed to be I think...
Ticks are nasty too - and the tiny ones are hard to find. Yuck.
*~*~*~Pompom twisty twirl~*~*~* for cyber
ticks are disgusting when the dogs get them and one got on me. We have a special "tick hook".
Yay nan !!
YAY nan!
the tiny ones are the ones to worry about too...
oh carlee... I really hate ticks too...
anyone want clues before I leave, or are all of you finished and just chatting?
the chog is creeping me out.
Finished
they burrow into the skin if they are there too long.
just chatting but nowhere near finished
not finished nan, but not ready to ask for clues yet.
I've given up with 196 words and nbt!
YAY cbr!!!
yeap..those are the ones i had to remove...
well done ruby!
fortunately, the dogs' coats are so thick that the ticks only land on their faces and are visible
we used to heat the end of a needle -- ticks jump out when you touch them with it and it's easier to pick them off
I never finish
covering them with vaseline works too
that is good ruby. we don't actually have many ticks around here, but once in a while I find one on Lucky and have to get the vet to take care of it.
oh! I could smother with vasline no problem
my sister uses hairspray on spiders and roaches
brb
keeps their do's nice when it's windy?
on my way -- company arriving tonight
if you have the right hook, it's easier to take it out than to get the dog into the car to go to the vet
ticks are scary
and cheaper, too
enjoy your visit nan
sounds like the need some guinea fowl at that camp carlee
*they
they eat ticks?
do guinea fowl eat them jess?
i think... b/c all the racoons died last year from dysentry... the ticks are looking for hosts
yes, they were recommended to a friend who had a problem on their property
didn't know raccoons could get dysentery
I'm afraid of raccoons because of rabies and they can be so bold. No raccons here although there is a Fr word, "raton laveur", rat that washes its hands
nor did i but that is what the park rangers told us...
Savage dogs, monster spiders, tic-ridden dysentric racoons??? Have I walked into a Stephen King novel???
hehehe...i had a baby skunk in my back yard the other nite
the indigenous word for racoon is "belups" (buh-LOOPs)
he was so sarn cute
life is a Stephen King novel!
darn even*
soodles! I have your guest room all arranged! *wicked mama grin*
Just as long as there is no wild-life in it Stid!!!!!
mama skunk was not far away then
I have a gendarme I'd like to introduce you to, soodle, you had better brush up your French!
Cujo Meets It - A Love Story
well.. i think was a young adult...ws not a baby..bu was not full grown
Oooh Ruby. Whats he like? (mmmm, I DO like a man in uniform...)
now I'm thinking Bambi
A childhood friend had a pet skunk - Daisy, of course. She was the sweetest thing, ha ha
very tall, about 50, wonderful face, grey temples
my boss' kids had one called it Flower Power
I think I am in love, Rubes..LOL
great boots!
hahah
and I have his cell phone number
we'll wait for you, soodle, and you may be as wild as you like...
pet skunk. hm.
!!!!! {{{Stiddy}}}
better than a pet spider!
i just want a strong handsome scot in his killt... with a sense of humour
Ruby, he could be a one-legged midget, and as long as he spoke in a French accent, I would be smitten.....
Oh heavens, at 152 left, I am getting now tired.
unfortunately, he doesn't speak any English!
nope..scottish accent... oooof
Daisy was really nice and gentle, de-scented of course. I thought she was so cool. She was a hit at our petting zoos. I always said she was our softball team mascot, 'cause we stunk!
too funny mom!
I am sure there are other ways of communicating (!!)
I have to go, but it's been grand!
i always wanted a pet skunk
:)
{{all you sweeties}}
later ruby! have a lovely evening.
and i would name him pepe of course
be ruby
er bye ruby
bye ruby
{{{Rubes}}}
bye ruby
bye ruby go with hugs
Lol Carlee - we are back to the French accents again!!
not french..scottish
temporarily, my icon is the spider... it could be a giant house spider, which is closely related to Hobo spiders. Either way, it was HUGE. and is now out of the house.
Didn't Pepe Le Peu (sp?) have a french accent?
so if you DON'T want to see the spider, don't refresh, and don't peek at my profile!
ooh stid
stiddie i just wrote les purce and said i wanted to have coffee with him and introduce you to him
Maybe you guys didn't get the cartoon Pepe Le Pue?
yes we got pepe le pew
gah. jmc! I don't DO "social" *hides under bed*
scottish accents
but I will have coffee if he has time... because he is your friend and I trust you.
no you just invite 10 total strangers over *drags stiddie out from under bed*
you are NOT strangers! *stomps foots*
we will see he may be too busy with school shit
i loved pepe le pew
well, YOU may be stranger than most... *reconsiders previous statement* but I don't think you are stranger than me.
It was Pepe Le Pew's accent that always got me....
you don't know I may be Steve O the stalker pretending to be jmcnrick
and besides. I know pini, jill, flo in real life!
stiddy u just remined me of how scarlet greeated me at the door when we were in NC
no, I am pretty sure you are not... '
:-D you met scarlet? how cool!
i knocked and she yels out the door " Kattie since when do YOU need to KNOCk at my door???? get your ass in here"
of course the last time i was there his secretary told me he had no time to meet with me and I stuck my head in to wave and he left all the presidents of the state colleges and spent 2 hours with my son and me
Awwww. Not ANOTHER babble meet? I am soooo jealous. (ommmmmm 6 numbers, 6 numbers 6 numbers...ommmmmmm)
that is so cool, jmc.
we wen down 2 xmas's ago..spent xmas day with her and her family
who is scarlet?
same one we have been talking about for about 8 months soodles... LOL
she deosnt play anymore...i dont think you know her jmc
*pouting* me too soodle
scarlet babbles sometimes. or did.
sorry soodle but you british isle folks could get together you know
river come down to the Philly meet up
they did once, jmc -- in or near London, I think. probably time for one on the emerald isle, though
there loads of brits who play...no scots tho :(
okay, I am going to put the candle back, so if you want to see the 4" spider (the body was about 1") last call!
the meet up is on saturday right?
no moolah (had to look and make sure not in grid) no time left either with vaca I had to use with Keith
what about jacula? isn't she scot?
it is on a saturday river
not sure jmc
Without a doubt! And if all my 'ommmmming' and chanting works, (ie, I win the lottery) the Irish meet-up is on me!
yes jmc, saturday.
12 hour ride by car anyway
*thinking - will need passport*
a random meet at the Olympia Farmer's market, and then a reservation at the little italian place across the street from the market (so we have a place that is either dry if raining or cool if sunny).
Stiddie, be sure that one of you has a laptop, and come on line mid-meet, and let us know what we are missing.....
no passport to come here river!
a passport to come to Philly?
we will take pics for sure, and I can babble from my phone if all else fails...
No money either
I always have my netbook and internet access
NO money for flight to either
that's cool jmc. we'll use yours then
I took some time unpaid and some time as vacation when Keith was in the hospital those 3 times. Just a bad year for future expenses
we can also use the wifi from the coffee shop that is nearby...
I find that if I drink strong coffee or espresso I am not so nervous around people.
what to be nervous about
it's okay river, there will be other meet-ups. I think last year was the first in several that the Vancouver Island babblers and we didn't get together...
Lol Stid. I find that wine has the same effect on me....
you nervous stid - wouldnt have thought that
PEOPLE carlee... they terrify me.
hmmm - wine
must be an excited nervous
but u know us all
It was babbling that made me confident enough to go out in public again actually... I practice on you folk and then practice on in-person folk.
You serious, Stiddy?
ooooh, I did it, I completed the F. boy there are an awful lot of D words.
very serious soodles.
I love to teach, but social situations are just awful for me. takes me hours to unwind enough to think clearly afterward.
I am okay in the moment generally... but it drains all my energy.
babblers are a cool bunch and will help you through anything stid
Oh my. That must be very difficult.
I have similar problems Stid, no issues at work, but social situations can be awkward and very stressful...
yes. but jmc's friend Les doesn't babble.... *sigh*
(((red))) thanks for letting me know I am not alone!
In my teens, I was PAINFULLY shy, I blushed if anybody said boo to me. Then I discovered make-up. I still blushed, but nobody noticed, and I gained confidence. Weird, but true.
Not at all. In work I always know what I am supposed to do, some social situations, especially daitng, things ar enot extremely clear.
I always tend to think no one will understand. but I trust you folk enough to tell you.
sounds like a fine solution soodles!
'Cept now, I am addicted to make-up. Wouldn't be caught dead without it...
I used to hide behind my glasses in public speaking situations
funny thing, I can get up and sing in front of people, I can speak in front of them, lead programs and services... but TALK to them? you've got to be kidding! LOL
didnt really need to wear them but did if I was nervous
hm. glasses as a shield for "the evil eye" -- that's a thought!
SImilar Stid, I am an excellent public speaker, because again the situation is somewhat controlled....
ok...everone wear a blindfold when talking to stiddy
I'm just the opposite - it takes all kinds - and here we are.....
rofl carlee!!!!
les is nice and very funny
i am shy too in social situations but I have learned to walk up and talk to people
have Les start babbling - then stid can get to know her an will be fine at the meet
OK, Jmc - if Stid doesn't want him, send him this-a-way.....
i love to speak because i am in control
I am sure he is, jmc! BUT a) he's a man; b) he's the president of my college c) he doesn't babble d) he's TALL e) I don't know him. *sigh* AND I will be brave and meet him if he has time because I do one brave thing every day whether I need to or not.
uh soodle he is married -- he's the president of the college she is going to
what grade are you going to teach stiddie?
Oooh, sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were match-making, Jmc. LOL
cause unless it is an all girls school. . . .
one time, I took the boys all the way up to Salt Spring Island by myself without my car. we rode the ferries as walk-on and figured out the public buses to cross vancouver island... and that's where flo and dilly and hetty and alan met us at the other side for a weekend of fun!
not this time soodle! lol
I can teach, jmc. LOL I can talk to fellow teachers (they're not men, exactly -- not in the professional environment). and middle school.
I can even talk to parents of students in the professional environment -- this fall will prove if I can do it and survive...
ok..just got sons passport out..he is headed to the states this afternoon
i have never heard of a teacher dieing from talking to a parent
where is he going carlee?
wow! why is he coming south? shopping?
rofl jmc... true. I think I will be okay, ne c'est pas?
across the river..his buddy is picking up a new muffler..wants to borrow my car..i can be in USA in about 20 mins if traffic is good
I like going north to shop. All the labels in Canada are in French AND English.
( that with clearing customs)
oh heavens, why is it that after half way, the grid starts to look like the words have fled.
gee, that's convenient, carlee.
*considers instigating a Detroit-area meetup....*
I learn more words that way -- bain = bath, eau = water, dors = back...
i am in detroit on thurs with a friend..she picking up a friend from airport... i am riding with her for company
when I listed I saw how many past tense words I missed as well as the making it most words
thanks river, I will make the most of the tip!
speaking of words, I have now been here for TWO hours! LOL time for me to switch gears I think. (((Hugs everyone))) I love this babble community. Thanks for being such good "listeners" -- back later to finish the grid.
*poof*
{{{Stid}}}}
later stiddy

hi all
hi m9. I just came back here myself
we're twins!
LOL! I really don't want to be that young again! :-) Or are you just talking about the dr**ping in and out?
dropping in and out. I doubt you're THAT much older than I
hi nef and m9
hi west. How are you?
I'm good nef except for my chewie disaster
Goodmorning all.
smoke is clearing now
hi lyn
it's 2 in the afternoon here
oh dear West
that's the beauty of online friends, m9. We don't "see" each other with our eyes but connect with our minds
How is your husband going Nef?
of course I talk about my 4 yo, so everyone thinks I'm younger than I am.
your chewie disaster? Smoke clearing? Are you taking cooking lessons from me when I was young?
lol nef I do feel like a new bride
what's chewie?
had a cookbook from a wives' club and always meant to try the recipe..guess I shouldn't have
ah!!
m9 they're called Texas Chewies kind of a brown sugar brownie
overflowed all over the oven
love those little cookbooks...
the batter was good
we had peanut butter blondies last night
oh no!!!!
me too ( usually)
lynxxx, DH is home again. We spent 7 hours in the ER last Friday and he's still dealing with back pain ("soft tissue swelling from the lumbar puncture" is pinching his nerves). But he can see a whole lot better and isn't hallucinating anymore
well that's good Nef!! unless they were really good hallucinations??
oh dear nef gentle hugs
hey...wait a minute.. is that what started all the drug talk earlier that I just saw the tail end of?
of course I meant home and seeing better is good.. NOT back pain!
what a relief about the sight & hallucinations! that was all too much too suddenly
m9, they weren't good hallucinations. But they weren't terrible either. He thought there was graffitti all over our walls, and kept answering me when I wasn't talking. And he thought he saw an Amish wedding caravan on a main street (who even knows where *that* came from?!) and didn't believe us when he kept seeing kids playing where there weren't any, etc.
interesting!
The worst part was telling me to be careful driving and he'd shout "LOOK OUT!!"
From Pennsylvania I bet.
;-)\
He's never been to Pennsylvania or anywhere near the Amish. He argued with me about seeing street rods, etc. too. Some of it was funny; but he got upset when we didn't see them too
was it his meds that caused the hallucinations?
I'm so glad his sight is returning to his baseline now
I just meant I bet that's where the caravan came from!LOL
believe it or not; it wasn't med related! He had Optic Neuritis that didn't clear with the steroids and then corneal edema and a corneal scratch
reading back a bit nef,the computer has finally given human kind what it could not do on it,s own, communication and exchange of thoughts and ideas irregardless of status, wealth, race, creed or colour..we are just pure thought..kind of neat when you think about it...mm when crossy starts to wax poetic,it is time for his meds brb
m9; that's a LONG way away
What a lovely thought, crossy!
I agree
how did he scratch his cornea nef?
he doesn't know or remember, west
happy things are a bit better
and m9,i would love the recepie for peanut butter blondes please:)))
he has some memory problems too. But you're probably right; it's better to remember the good stuff
must be a pain to clean up afterwards though....
ha!
I'd like to know what the chewies are supposed to be like myself! ;-)
soirry nef..what happened to DH?
Aiden made them. with choc chips. then served with ice cream and choc syrup!
oh,,it,s just a dessert..;/
Hi again...
lol
howdy jellen
afternoon everybody
hi Jellen
howdy ge
but it was ok to be so decadent.. cause we had lentils for dinner.

((((((jellen))))))
hi {{{jellen}}}!
Hi, Liz
hi Sandy & Liz
when Aiden makes lentils....well let's just say our guests had 3 bowls each!
m9, how do you fix lentils so people will eat them? I add them to a soup, but no one will touch them otherwise
Hi Lynxxx, Crossy, Jellen et al
Hi Lyn, I couldn't sleep tonight so am up early
it was lentil chicken chili
howdy liz:)
so a soup..kind of.. mostly lentils.
my question is why even try to cook something that you have to go to extaordinary lengths to make palatable? lol
that sounds very interesting. I would never have thought of that
but don't ever eat my sister's lentil loaf!!! (a family story that will never die)
Hey Crossy did you ever decide where to go on your trip? You were thinking of making it over here?
the chili is SO good!!
i had some family business over in london liz,but the timeline was just too tight:(
Oh :( Shame :(
crossy is sorry..would love to see sark

thank you m9 its for Jellen x a representation of a poem I sent her on fb
your lentil chile sounds interesting m9, care to share recipe?
///
prob at our house is that people say "can I have the recipe for this????" and Aiden and I have to say "uh..I'll try and write down what I do next time I make it" cause we don't cook from recipes.
m9 if it is yummy it can have anything in it
understand m9, happens here too
I'll ask Aiden to write it down. I know it had broccoli in it
It is a beautiful poems, Liz
that's an interesting addition
I put all my recipes in a file on the computer so it is easy to send them on or print them out
Wish I was closer to be of more help to you Jellen xx
most of my recipes are on computer too sandy, for same reason
but cooking well is an instincitve art
ne6 pls
My support network has kicked in, Liz...but wish you were closer, too...
Jellen, could you please put an address where I could send a card, you can email it to me if you dont want to put it on your profile
I can't follow a recipe for anything; I start out making something and just keep adding stuff til it tastes right

"Let breakers crash against the shore -- let rocks be rimed with sea and weed, cliffs carven by the storm -- let calm becalm the deeps, or wind appall the waves, and sting -- and sting -- nothing overweighs the poise of Sea and Stone. The rocks and water-battery of Home endure. We are the wanderers, born to live, and bold for going where the dreaming goes. "Let world be wide beyond belief, the ocean be as vast as time -- let journeys end or fail, seaquests fall in ice or blast, and wandering be forever. Roam -- and roam -- nothing tarnishes the poise of Sea and Stone. The hearth and harborage of Home endure. We are the wanderers, born to sail, and bold to go wherever dreaming goes."

How's everyone doing today?
Good day but tired. How are you, pini?
Okay...had a very interesting salad for dinner...broccoli and grape...
tried my new glasses today, not liking them, glad I'm home so I can lessen the eye strain...
i've had broccoli and raisin.....but grape. hmmm
broccoli and grape? Interesting combo, jellen! :)
That does sound interesting, Jellen. What else was in it?
did it have bacon jell??
I hate adjusting to new glasses, pini. I feel your pain...
i never have felt like my last prescription was quite right
No...of course the make knows I don't eat bacon...
Thankfully I have my other pair so I could actually work...I guess these will take some time to get used to.
I don't think they lowered the line of the bifocal tho :(
Tim's obituary: http://tinyurl.com/2f535df
I tried the ones that darken on their own this time and I'm not liking them al all.
I have the no-line bifocals and really like those. I adjusted well to them.
Thank you for sharing, Jellen!
I need new glasses, particularly because I have misplaced mine...

Ah, we lived in Enid when first married and I remember getting out of the shower and being just as wet after I dried off.
i hope you're sending that crisp weather my way, stidgmere
here too -- hello, all -- hugs to you, sweet Jellen :-)
we're at a whopping 71F - NICE!
hi Une ;)
Hi, Une
i'd be whining and volunteering to defrost freezers at 101 degrees!
I just walked the neighbor's dog and am soaking wet from head to toe!
hi unea
we must be related, lbd...me, too!
dawg, I occasionally stick my head in the freezer!
dinner - check. chicken salad made for lunch tomorrow - check. meatballs for dinner tomorrow night - check. banana bread for breakfast - nope! ran outta steam. time to relax.
I always hear you guys saying how more words didn't have the word. the site I use always has the words....LOL
Hello uneaixoise I'm sending this weather to anyone who requests it but I understand tomorrow we are heading up to the 80s.
off to take a cold shower! later :-)
well done, GE...
i stick my head in the freezer to find sorbet or other edibles, but at 100+ i'd be making room for my bed!
it gets in the 90's here..but it's not very humid for the most part.
i'm not usually an overachiever.
I remember as a kid thinking how nice it would be to be in alaska in the summer and sleep on an iceberg.
lol GE, that's a lot of preparing in my book!
a lovely 75 in the shade right now... fairly breezy
lots of skeeters in Alaska in the summer
oh m9, let's go out on your patio and have a glass of wine
how about juice?
And what time exactly is this alleged lunch of chicken salad tomorrow? We can just get there I think on time.
can i bring my own?
76°F here, slightly overcast, possible rain this evening
the chicken salad is my mom's recipe with grapes and whipped cream - delightfully yummy
you must be next door, lbd...same weather I have right now! :)
75 in american degrees here and sticky
well, let's meet outside for a toast to our lovely friends!
We had our rain yesterday and early today.
so wishing we could, lbd! :)
me too, Pini
75F crossy?
sorry, alcohol free premises

We were suppose to get rain today, but it didn't happen, but it is clouding up and cooling down nicely

smoke free too. just not pet free!LOL
Hello crossy. I was thinking of you earlier today. You don't need to convert to make us happy--we like you just as you are.
hi welki
hi welki
I knew you would
but I can sure cook up something nummy!
Hi, welki
brb
please no lentils even if hidden in yummy chili
countdown: 2 hours until my oldest daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter touch down!! 1.5 hrs until we leave for airport!
How exciting, welki!
How exciting welki. How lucky you are to have a visit!
ha!! you know my husband used to think eggplant was nasty too.....
I think welki's a bit excited...can anyone else confirm? LOL
i think i could learn a thing or two from you
we live so far apart ... really is a treat! and i get to spoil the baby with reckless abandon!
woot woot! you go, welki!!!
ooohhh... it's just me and the sleeping one at the moment!.. I'm gonna jump on other puter and play with photos!
One of my sisters just called...she'll be here on Monday...
btw, i like lentils and eggplant .. who's cookin'?
nice, jellen...I'm sure it will be good to see her ;)
maybe a little relief for you, jellen .. an older or younger sis?
very nice jellen. i'm glad for you.
speaking of all this fo4...I should go find something to eat
Older sis...she's a children's coordinator for her church...
bbs
if this had a private message feature, i'd send: hey, jellen, i know that everyone's probably been commenting on what's going on in your world right now. just want you to know that i care and will try to keep things light for now .. laughter is good medicine, too
and thus, welki kills the chat
Yes, it is, welki...I'm reading a Stephanie Plum mystery for that very reason...
No Welki. You just said what we are all thinking. She needs us to make her laugh now.
no, you didn't. hi all. older sisters are terrific (since i am one), and at a time like this even if you aren't close, sisters are great. and yes welki
yeah well, hang on .. i have to google stephanie plum *LOL*
I'm reading "Adrift in New York" 1907 or so. Horatio Alger. Never read it, I know why now.
blah. trying to organize school forms while babbling. too many kids with to many illnesses.
ha! a "bounty hunter with an attitude" .. sounds like my kind of gal!
haha stidgmere. i'm reading atlas shrugged.. not really into it yet though
She gets herself into very funny jams...
atlas shrugged! oy.
I like Stefanie Plum, also. Atlas Shrugged I read years ago and didn't like it.
<-- is reading john irving's 'last night in twisted river'
Alas Shrugged - that brings back memories - 40 years ago!
book club chose it, and i really don't want to... would like the new john irving though, i bet. and yes, stephanie plum in nice light reading... she has some funny characters there
reading shadow divers - quite interesting
hi doren - thought of you today - heard that edison is hiring back about 150 staff members, including 4 guidance counselors - any news from your district?
We should write a book. using the Babble words as the clues or something.
yes, lynxxx... but 40 years ago i was 20, what did i know then??
Hi, lynxxx
snap - so was I
i started atlas shrugged (when dinosaurs roamed the earth), but never finished ... worth digging out and trying again?
omg. i'm so tired. i read that as we should clue the words using book titles.
that's some mighty dyslexic reading i did there.
hi Jellen ((hugs))
no news from my district, but i would be very surprised if i don't hear from them... guess they're waiting to find out just how much $$ our district will receive before they allot it.. but i really am getting anxious
hi lynxxx, hi brid
lol brid!
hi everyone who's just mosied in
re-reading atlas shrugged might give you a different perspective than how you were thinking 40 years ago
you would think so, dawg!
hehehe ... yes, i think you might be right, dawg. my 'thinking' 40 years ago was a little skewed
it certainly isn't a light summer read, tho
i have hit a babblewall with 130 left ... maybe i'm a little preoccupied :)
<--was six 40 years ago
jbv, i promise when i get my job back (fingers still crossed) it will appear in my profile, and everywhere else i can think of. And no, it really isn't and i am not picking it up... last book i read was the girl with the hornet's nest and I just couldn't put it down, so by comparison this one pales
just a wee babe
so we'll read Atlas Shrugged and meet in a month to discuss it? Hmm could be fun. I'm up for it if that would be the payoff. I have 113 left and whose counting?
jellen is a show off!
I was negative six 40 years ago.
stidgmere, that would be terrific
i could have baby-sat you kids *lol*
Pfft, grem!
I just started the girl with the dragon tattoo - i'm loving it
my son is older than gremlinn
lots of baby sitting done 40 years ago
oh you have lots of fun reading ahead of you j
i'll be starting girl/with after twisted river
i have never read it. but promise now to give a clue if anyone ever asks for an at5 using the book title.
hmmm ..looking for a T in the grid
dragon tattoo was good, played with fire is even better and i haven't started hornets nest yet, but i'm banking on it being awesome
ohhh, i am such a moron. delete that post
a T just right of center would have been quite nice
how does twisted river compare to other irving? and hornet's nest was the best ever!!!
good luck in finding one, welki
(epidotes, lepidotes, peridots)
i like peridot
Where is there an at-5?
Happy (early) Anniversary, Brid! Babbling for FIVE years as of tmw! WOW
really??
not in this grid, toni
WOW
really, brid ;)
john irving's prayer for owen meany is one of my all time favorite books!
at least your profile says 08/11/2005
it's right, i'm sure.
i've got to run.
<-- in awe!
peridot is my birthstone - aug. 3 was my day
thx for letting me know. wow!
Must get going , bye all
didn't mean to scare you off!!!
go figure!
(back to making dinner)
hotel new hampshire, by far, is my favorite, closely followed by cider house rules
ciao lynxxx
naw, the doorbell ran me off. heh.
happy belated birthday, JBV!
cya
bbs (again)
really like john irving
bye brid, come back soon!
happy brithday jbv!!!
thanks, lbd - we pile all our celebrations into august - anniversary this week too, and son's birthday ont he 24th
me, too (and i love that my kids read him, too)
hi all...
i'll have to try that one welki
hi carlee!
Just want to say, Ibdawger........that lighthouse is simply beautiful and the message it sends is soothing.
hi dawg...so whats up?
Happy Birthday, JBV!
Hi, carlee
ty, toni. nothing much, carlee, how about you?
happy b-day jvb
just cooled off in the pool... still havent figured out what to make that is blueberry...so had a bowl of sugar crisp to kill the sweet tooth craving i was having
I just had an awesome blueberry muffin...
i just am not sure on the whole blueberry thing what it is i want to make
i like to freeze them and use them in pancakes over winter
love blueberries! i have to try a lemon blueberry cake recipe i got. maybe tomorrow
an awesome blueberry muffin works better than proust's madeleines for me
i have blueberries every morning in my oatmeal.
i am doing tha ttoo welki... but they on sale thisweek..i got tonnes of them
me too welki. my freezer is full of them right now
i wonder how they'd come out if you tried to dehydrate them at home
we won't see blueberries on sale here for a few more weeks (pony express to alberta)
like blue raisons
i eat them every morning one way or another... usually with greek yogurt, ground up oats, But made blueberry pancakes last weekend that were 90% blueberries...outrageous
^5 dawg
oh you, doren ... got me hooked on that greek yogurt last year! and sooo hard to find here
freeze them in a single layer (like on a cookie sheet), then pack them into ziplocks and they are just like fresh
when i was in jersey, i had my daughter drive me around to find some ... was worth every bit of the effort! yummmmm
i get balkan yoghurt... and from that..make my own
it's come down in price here welki... thankfully. since i eat it daily
can find small cartons of greek yogurt in the grocery store. kinda spendy tho
hi all
Hi, ak
hi ak!
Fage now makes a 32 ounce container..much more reasonable... and trader joe's of course hi ak
ahhh, trader joes...if only...
*sniff sniff* no trader joe's, no wegman's ... i am deprived
has anyone gotten into watching the owl box on ustream? it has become my new favorite thing to do
what is the link aknitter
welki, you and i can sit and ponder the wonders of wegmans and trader joes together. add whole foods to that list too
we were watching the osprey cam for a while
http://tinyurl.com/ygluhyl
i wish they would come closer to me, but at least i can drive 20-25 minutes and find one. but then again, i live in NJ.
i used to live about 9 minutes from a trader joe's. sigh.
yes, while we gaze at the mountains ... i think i've just adjusted my perspective, my friend :)
there are mountains here in nj too though, welki
dorens, i am well acquainted with the kittatinny mountains .. and gotta tell ya, they're hills
not near trader joe's here either
ramapos??
why am I looking at an owl?
northern, not kittatinny
smaller hills
i will have to look for the osprey cam welki. there are osprey who hang out where i live on the pond
oohh!!! babies!
dorens, they're gorgeous, but the rockies are magnificent .. my husband just reminded me that (*gasp*) i cried at my first look at them (the rockies ... hehehe)
ohhhh is so cute
there are 2 babies and 2 more eggs. egg #3 has a hole in it and earlier it was moving around like someone is trying to get out
ah, this is true welki. nj certainly has nothing like the rockies
but you do have trader joe's and wegmann's .. and the ocean!
you guys are making me smile - i'm exchanging emails with my cousin in italy who lives near the Alps - now those are some mountains
doren nj mountains are impressive to flatlanders like me :)
and the ocean has been warm this summer... just lovely
maybe I'll post one of his photos for you mountain lovers
ok folks, i am done, and going to chat with my son for a while... happy babbles
i miss the ocean .. tried to convince the kids to stay home and we'd go east, but nooooooo ... *lol*
Hooray for Dorens!!!
~*~*~POMPOM toss FOR DORENS*~*~*~
wtg dorens!
whoooo hoooooo Dorens!!! hage
i could never live away from the ocean. i think i would feel claustraphobic LOL
you can see mt adams, mt hood, mt st helens mt bachelor from around here
YAYAYAY!!!! wtg dorens!
i feel that way, aknitter .. not that i was about to swim across the atlantic, but i was just mentioning to a gal who moved here from CT, that i felt land-locked here
I can't get any farther from it from here. hated living in Ohio... it's a little weird living this side of the mts... but I can still get to ocean in about 3 hrs.
and I'm on a huge river.
on may way, m!
fishingggggggg
does the amtrak train run along side the columbia river m9. i remember seeing people wind surfing on this huuuuge river when we were out there years ago.

Actually, it's from before we met...but it's the one that caught my attention on the dating site...
G'night, welki
smart woman
i should post some of the pics i have seen on dating sites - scry as hell
my fave so far is teh guy posing in his fatigues and with a gun, holding a rat by the tail
Seen some of those...
Oh, that's classic!
or any of the ones with some guy, shirtless, posing in front of his... car... boat... motorbike...etc.... why do they think that is appealing???
hmmm, attracts someone...i guess
it's a great picture of Tim.
a friend sent me a pic of a guy from a dating site... he was in shades and a wifebeater kneeling next to a lawn chair on ugly green carpet......
my brother met his wife online.
wife beater is a tank?
lol, yes, kje
why is it called that?
Ribbed white undershirt
all men who beat their wives wear tanks?
yuck
my husband and I heard on the radio once that something ilke 98% of Americans get married at some time in their life (this was a while ago)... so every time we see some guy on a street corner, belly hanging over his pants, greasy with sweat.. he'd say to our daughter.. "hey...that there's husband material!"
now i will have nightmares
98%?
does anyone have the se5/12 & se6/24?
LOL.. in the movies they usually do!
wow, that puts me lower than I thought - LOL
hello again everyone. We went and voted in our primary elections; then stopped at the DQ for a small sunday. We had a 2 for 1 coupon. :-)
good for you nef
How fun to link elections with a tastey treat! We used to go to the library and stop for ice cream on the way home.
Hi again, Nef

halfway, woot
What would infosap mean? Someone who gives out information he's told to or someone who gives less information than they should? Or maybe that's virtually the same thing?
go GWEN!!
Hi all, btw.
hi jac!
I've got a couple of good words/terms for you all. Anyone got any idea what a bilateral periorbital haematoma is? I know, but I wonder if you do?
insofap = the material left around the edges of the bowl after you mixed something and poured it out
jacula, a bruise in the area of the eye?
I know! What have you been up to Jac?
sounds like a black eye
yes, jac, i do - LOL
2 black eyes
BTW - DO NOT put 'bilateral periorbital' into a Google search, like my son did, unless you want to see some very gory photos of the flesh-eating disease about this.
oh yes, she did say bilateral
ew!
Yep - a black eye. No, I haven't got one! Still struggling on with the foot/ankle/leg thing.
ewwww!
I didn't want to see the pics, but my son insisted on waving his laptop in front of me.
so anyone wanna see my youngest??
i promise he has no flesheating disease
certainly, m9
Next one - Do you know what 'transurphobia' is?
http://tinyurl.com/2drvl9j
he's my little character
we5?
m9 - sure.
yes
we + ***icious food!
fear of haircuts!?!?
fear of running across egypt?
LOL
No Gwen, LOL. Try again.
he looks like a scrapper, m9!
M9 - Yes - it is.
fear of eating stray bugs?
oh, shoot. LOL
It's a phobia about having your hair cut. Many of us might have this after a bad day at the hairdresser's.
fear of having only 40 minutes to play when there's a 326-word grid on babble?
i hate having my hair cut. but not a serious phobia, i don't think
uno
mongogridaphobia, gwen
go kje!
lol lbd
Here's a truly disgusting fact I learned today. During an average person's lifetime, they will produce enough saliva to fill two swimming pools.
good word, dawg! LOL
I have this one: allodoxaphobia
Nice one, dawg.
is that all jac?
thar she blows!!!!!
YAYAY!! wtg kje
whoooo hoooooo KJE!!!
That's it for now, m9. Did I interrupt you? Or did you mean you thought it would be more?
not disgusting at all... saliva is important to good oral hygeine
and in the department of body discharges... saliva is not the worst - LOL
i once knew someone who seemed to make way more sliva than that, ew
kje - yes, but 2 swimming pools full of spit is not nice to contemplate.
i meant I thought we would have made more saliva than that.
considering what all is in a swimming pool that's the least of any concern
2 swimming pools' worth of snot is not nice - re the cold you might get in your life.
oh! I have a great snot pic of gage!!!LOL
when my dad would have the grandkids over to swim, he would say, he put something in the pool that would turn their hands red if they peed in it
nice...
of course they immediately all looked at their palms
Well, we could go on to the fact that when someone farts, it releases poo particles into the air that are then breathed in by others.
and we would laugh
I took it at the beach during Tim's vacation..i was just now looking at it and cracking up
But this is a nice site, so we won't go there, despite what my kids (who are now grown-up) say.
any odor is partciles of the substance you are smelling... thus why you can smell it
jac needs to get with nrkii... she loves this gross out stuff - LOL
tests show that minute amounts of fecal material exist on pretty much everything you touch. ew again
nice thought Jac. I am fascinated by the idea that we can perhaps be breathing a molecule that Jesus breathed...or that Plato peed, or Shakespear sneezed...
LOL about the pool.
she has something called the hypochondriacs handbook that lists all the weirdest diseases for every simple symptom... it is pretty funny
you ever think about the fact that if you swim in a lake... you're swimming in the fishes toilet?
Ther is an old saying, 'You have to eat a bushel of dirt before you die' or something like that. Too much cleanliness and disinfectant etc., might make the natural immune system not worl.
OK, must run.... way past my bedtime and I def need the beauty sleep
no worries of that at my house!
Back...I feel I'm developing new phobias by the second...
(I mean too much cleanliness)
'Bye kje - sleep well.
Late congrats and g'night, kje
wi7? help?
Sorry about that Jellen.
lol, jellen.... don't let them get to you!
the first rule, no Lysol!
i see grosser stuff than what has been listed here every day ; )
first wi7... person who melts metal together..but different last vowel
true gwen. never too much cleaning in my house.
oh wait.. that's we
i'm only a fanatic in public areas. my home is comfortably dirty
healthy immune system depends on building lots of antibodies which means touching a few germs now and again
If you took every press report etc., about what you should and should not do seriously, you'd never live life and living life, with all its risks, is what life's all about.
oh! fermented grape drink and the person who drinks it
and i'm off to my pillows and book. see you all tomorrow.
if you changed the vowel of the person who drinks it... the whole word would be an apple.
bye lbd!
nights dawg

G'night, lbd

oohhh... I luvs a good storm!

uh oh, my 40 minutes is up. bye bye buddies POINK
m9 - pity I don't live near you, since you tutor math(s) phobics. You might be able to repair the damage done to me at junior school when I was 7 or 8 by the teacher who loved me for my art and English but humiliated me over my maths.
bye gwen.
ohhh... angry on your 7 yo behalf!!!!
and I just know you'd be brilliant at maths if you could have confidence! grrrr....
I can do basic maths, of course, but, get more complicated than that and my brain freezes, in case I have to stand on a chair again in front of the whole class and get called 'stupid'.
math was easy. English was hard.
oh my!!!! steam coming out of my ears now!!
Thanks, m9. I've always tried my best to be good at everything I do.
stuck on the le7 and le8
my son just said "random shotgun moment!"
7 or 8.... that means the teacher ruined you for fractions... and the distributive law of multiplication.....
I was a left-hander, born in '57, went to school at 4 years of age, when chalks and slates were still used in an old Victorian school. Some teachers tried rapping my hand with a rule to make me write with the 'correct' (right) hand. My Mother soon put them right about that!
phew! you could have been made a stutterer
lefties are the ones in their right minds! like me! LOL
makes me want to cry
fractions, unless they are even ones, confuse me. Percentages, the same. I did get the hang of algebra, because it used letters. I was better at long muliplication than short.
mixi - I have a tee-shirt that has that logo on it.. 'Lefthanders are the only ones in their right minds'.
m9 - fortunately, my mother made sure that didn't happen to me (the stuttering).
do you bake???
I do, m9. Why do you ask? Re the maths?
fractions all over the place in baking!!LOL... I bet you manipulate them all the time without thinking about it. you just were ruined by the way it's taught.
All of my other teachers were lovely, and they taught me the maths of life.
you understand the concepts.. just haven't internalized the algorithms for processing them in theory.
m9 - I know you're right and that particular teacher was horrible to her own two children (a boy and a girl) when they came to our state school from their private school if they finished earlier than we did, so came into her classroom to wait for her. I think she probably treated her hubby same way - perhaps her life disappointed her?
m9 - I must let you sort me out sometime.
and they make kids memorize things like "denominator" and "numerator" when really.. at that age who really cares??
I think she was a pseudo snob and a bitter woman.
kids should be playing with numbers at that age.
and seeing how cool they are.
building on the natural excitement they already have for numbers...
I mean look at a 3 year old.. or a 4 year old... they're EXCITED about numbers!! "i can count to 10!!!"
you know how I remember which is the numerator and which is the denominator??
m9 - I remember my son at about 2, maybe younger, counting for me.. 'one, two, three, four, five, other ones'. That tickled me.
We should be outraged at how that's being killed in our children
No, m9 - how do you?
sorry..had to find something in fridge for Tim
well... I think of denomination being what kind of something something is..
so what is it.. it's a 4rth.. it's a 5th.... see? it's the KIND of fraction it is..
and numerator= number. how many of them do you have?
Maybe, if I'd had more knowledge of words at 7 or 8, and I WAS ahead in reading, 2 years ahead, I might have understood better.
well that's just it... I don't get why they expect kids to know those words. LIke i said...who really cares?
If she'd just taken the time to explain it like you did at the time, so not leaving me with a life-long aversion to numbers, I'd have done okay.
I suppose, knowing the meaning of those words now, I 'could' have another go at maths. But my brain still freezes up. I can't do sudoko.
well! my brother got his teaching degree in Bellingham..
and he was in a class about teaching math.
about 120 students
m9 - you might yet work wonders for me. Do keep in touch.
the prof asks: "who here if they were out in public and had to do a math problem, would feel comfortable about it?".. and only about a tenth raised their hands.
and then he asked.. how many of you would actually enjoy it?" and maybe one or two raised their hands
If he'd asked them to to a word problem, what would the percentage have been?
he asked... how many of you would feel like "ugh".. and about 4/5 raised their hands... he said .. look around.. you are the people we are sending out to teach math ot the kids...
So, about a quarter of the class were true maths teachers?
Am I right?
not even
only 2 or 3 enjoyed it! out of 120!!!!
you shouldn't teach something you don't even enjoy!
Well, it's not a third.
only 1/5th didn't have a negative gut reaction to it!
So, English, Art, History, Geography or Science, I could have taught. But not maths. LOL
but they're all expected to go out and teach it!
at the elementary level teachers usually get the kids for a lot of the subjects.. it's not until junior high that they start really specializing..
so they've already had years of being with teachers that have their own level of math aversion
One of my son's friends got his degree in Pure Maths. He's so quick qwith calculations that normal humand beings can't keep up. However, he can't get a job in UK that uses his skills.
math aversion is part of our culture! we think nothing of saying "oh..I was TERRIBLE in math" in front of the kids...
interesting. most really high level mathematicians don't do calculation very quickly... some even count on their fingers!LOL because true mathematical problem solving is not the same calculating.. you can use a machine for that!
like memorizing the multiplication tables? I think that's a task designed to make kids hate mathematics.
because there is NO need in their life at that age to have that memorized..
And noone usually helps them with memorization skills.. . like HOW do you help your brain memorize something?
wow.. I'm dominating the chog!LOL can you tell you've pulled out my soapbox?? (or one of them)
Speaking of teachers, I still regularly see one of my old art teachers, and not the one who praised me (but then pinched one of my pen and ink drawings to sell repeatedly as her own). The one I see was the Head of Department who criticised my stuff fiercely, as I now realise, to make me do better. She is 97 years old, still lives in her own home, walks her dog up the hills every day and still does her own housework and gardening. Last time I saw her was at the local hospital when I was in a wheelchair after doing my foot in. She was in the waiting room with a walking stick and a large plaster on her shin. She'd fallen onto a stick and cut herself whilst pruning stuff.
wow. that's kind of cool
Multiplication tables, m9, was what Mrs, Gray ( the bully) humiliated us with.
grrrrrrr
You have to make it fun. for instance.. Aiden remembers what 8 squared is.. because she was born in '88 and I was born in '64
I remember that 56 is 7 times 8 because it's sequential. 5...6...7...8...
Miss Hedingham was so pleased about the art work I'd sold (for publications) when we met some years after I'd left school. Mrs E. - the one who pinched my artwork hasn't been seen since.
that's just crazy.. stealing from a student. wow
I was in about 5th grade when my dad found out I didn't know my multiplication tables..
so he told my brother (the one who is now a teacher) that he needed to help me.
Yes. it is. I still can't understand that one. I think maybe she went a little crazy after her 6 weeks off after having a hysterectomy in her late 30s. She suddenly introduced some bloke to us (maybe a boyfriend?) and told us to draw like her did. It was coloured tubes about 2 inchces long. Modern art, we weere told. We all knew that was crap, girfted and non-gifted alike. They'd bugger off into the stockroom, leaving us to draw red and blue and yelllow cigar shapes.
Ralph said "what's 7 times 8?" "uh... uh... uh.." "56. I'm going to ask you again in an hour..and if you don't know I'm gonna hit you." LOL he was just joking.. but I"ve always thought that was so funny. he has a great sense of humor.
oh my!! sounds like a scene from a movie!
Thanks to Hitler Gray,. I do know my times tables now.:-(
and then my brother showed me how amazingly cool the 9's are. and of course i knew 5's. and then he showed me that with those I already knew a whole bunch of the times table and the 2's are easy.. so it's just filling in a few after that.
Hey all! hey Jac! ((hugs))
hey stid!!! *calling down from my soapbox*
Suddenly, after about 4 times, Misss Hedingham would appear in the room and set up a still life for us to draw, and then go to the stockroom. Mrs E and ? would leave the room shortly afterwards.
Hi stid.
down to 157 earlier, going to list now or I won't finish...
wait.. there were THREE of them in the stockroom??
Miss Hendingham must've have known how boring it was to draw a tap atop a brick with an apple and a pear below it. Shortly after that, Art Club began and we went to the Birmingham Art Museum and churches. Churches were fun, especially lying on yoru back to draw arched ceilings.
you can do it stid!
m9 - No! Just 2 in the stockroom. I guess Miss H. broke up their party.
oh!! you mean Miss Hedingham would rout them out!
YES! LOL
i catch on eventually!LOL
Finally, our proper study for architecture began.
last de 6 please?
I have nothing but admiration for Miss H. She told me a few years ago that she knew Maria E. had stolen my drawing but didn't know what to do bbout it or how to contact me.
Rhymes with beaver, stid.
Well, it doesn't really, but you might get it from that. It's showing respect.
Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone?

le8 is a drug for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.
I would have thought that one a proper noun... LOL

I don't usually either.... but stid is down to a crunch...
ok.. the big boy is wanting the puter... and I've put him off long enough!LOL
m9 - I give those kind of clues too, in the dead of the night, when someone's down to the wire, but don't tell. LOL

(((m))) glad you were here for a while. see you tomorrow!
Glad we've got a computer each in this house! Mind you, that doesn't stop my daughter, who no longer lives here, arriving and taking over the computer, 'phone and printer at times (about twice a week).

and thanks also JAc
down to 74 now.
I wonder what's happening with the new look Babble? Things have gone quiet lately.
ov7 = not under and not true
stid - ov7 is to lay prone atop something.
ov7 - use one of your ov4 and then add a word that means to tell an untruth to the end.
thanks good/jac/cbr!
Os obliterated!
I'm going to wander off to bed now in the hope that the snoring and tooth grinding has ceased. Enjoy the rest of the grid.

you will enjoy flo and jill. they are some of my bestest friends!
i drank at least 3 or 4 gallons of water

Youppi! dors bien, Une!
Congrats and good night, Une!!!
hoping i sweated more, i.e. lost some weight
If Raelite or Riemann wants to share a room, I think that is possible. I just don't know them yet
I wish I were rich and really had a babble jet to help people get to our meetup
And be sure to use sunscreen, too!
riemann is a fellow -- and the boys "uncle" he'll just come down for the day.
(shady, my neighbor drank that much today as well -- he was working on the roof -- crazy man!)
Not sure Raelite is actually going to come yet.
which reminds me... maybe pini would share a room with you bugs?
too late, jellen, already red as a beet! That's the Welsh in me
ok, really poofing -- gnite, babble buds :-)
thanks for the heads up! I would not be willing to share a room with riemann then.
oh gee shady. *gives LARGE aloe plant*
ty, *hugs Jellen
Pini and I have agreed but jmc needs a spot too so we could get a room with room for 4 if Raelite needs help that way.
drat, sun poisoning, hugs Stid
I plan to finalize things tomorrow and Jilli may know her.
oh, I see! did Jill talk to you about staying at the local (very close to me) casino? less expensive than most of the local hotels, and actually on your way here rather than in town.
hey stid! how goes?
I know pini -- she's a lovely person, and can stay with us if necessary. We'll either put her in the tent or one of the boys... LOL
just heard weird news, that our chancellor and his son died in a wreck tonight. Odd
hey riemann! glad you de-lurked. have you met bugs? Bugs is coming to our Olympia meet!
Bugs, this riemann, Tom's bestest best friend and the boys' uncle.
actually just popped in. Hi Bugs!
that's too bad, shady
t heard it as a fact
HEY! I got the entire table-top under the living room window cleared off this evening! (took me three days to do it)
You go, stid!
oh, just heard, he is alive plane crash killed others
woo woo stid
That means I have a space to use as a desk this coming year. Since my office is turning into a storage locker again. *sigh*
It would only take me 10 secs. And another 2 mins to sweep up the floor.
crazy stuff
It also means that I can get to the window to wash it again! I think I feel a cleaning mood coming on.
ohoh.... *sits in PB*
Don't worry about the window, Stid. What would you do with a clean window? Look at the sunshine?
what sunshine?
my point exactly, Tea
Have plenty of food for the pb, stid....church ladies in action!
rofl tea! you know the area all too well!
been there done that!
we had a few minutes of bright light today, as a matter of fact!
we had a whole day!
oh jellen! have you tallied the tunafish casseroles?
that's what you get for turning on the lamp
No tunafish...
*sticks out tongue at riemann from a safe distance*
ew - I always try to make some thing different
I will get jam in the mail tomorrow -- had to find a mail-safe box. *sigh* hope someone has provided bread...
riemann informed me a few years ago that jam travels well but bread and cookies were less successful.
Had the best salad tonight... broccoli, grapes, red onion, and sunflower seeds...
yum! that sounds excellent!
that sounds yummy - I am making cous cous salad tomorrow
There are no USPS-safe boxes. Not even for fragile items like books.
Hello all...back for flip. Jellen, what dressing did they serve with the salad?
hey! my postman is VERY careful!
hey Nonnie!
wow, that was weird, just heard that they had died, turns out they were in a plane wreck, but are fine\nhey riemann, from whence is the name?
hello stid--how are you this evening?
he's also my husband ;)
our post-person is rather nice. she comes by at 4-ish every day, rain or shine. except Sunday, of course.
hi nonnie
It was like a slaw dressing, I think...
oh tea! LOL
when Tea was born, my husband yells at the top of his lungs - she looks like the mailman!
hello tea, I haven't seen you in a long while. How are you doing?
hi Riemann! sorry, I was distracted for a bit there
It's not the delivery, it's the transporting. I've got pictures of book boxes totally and mysteriously repackaged from the transporation
the nurses all froze and then my mom says, you are the mailman, jackass
LOL tea
OK, thanks jellen. It sounds like a really good salad and something different.
it was awesome!
doing good, nonnie
he's not really my mailman, he works on the machines that sort the mail at the main plant
good to hear, tea.
rofl tea!
I thought I killed the chog
Now you've done it! lol
not quite tea... I think we're just all waiting for flip...
gosh, I thought I killed it again, I should stop!
100 left - perfect for not finishing!
*a dead silence fills the chog...*
125 here
I'm a bit tipsy, so my fingers are moving!
*one monitor after another goes black...*
What silence? You can't sto
*the internet can't handle the lightened load and slowly implodes...*
