I found something I like, Laben (fermented milk, a sort of drinkable yoghurt), but I don't know if it's good or bad for intestines
I always thought yogurt was good
we had a lovely little sanguine peach tree, but the 5th year, it gave its all and had 300 little red sweet peaches and then died! I think it is too cold here for peaches or apricots
oh what a shame
we have a fig tree which has fruit some years, but it's in the most sheltered spot of the garden, against a wall and facing south
even so, it loses its fruit about half the time
the birds must like it there
yes, we are very bird friendly - husband feeds them sunflower seeds 3X/day and we have the fishpond for water, no insecticides, lots of fruit just for them and, most important, no cats
that sounds idyllic
although a beautiful tiny cat came into the house the other day when we weren't home, walked past Ruby to get in, and was almost upstairs where Max sleeps when I found her
and the heron thught the fishpond was a special food bowl, set out for him

Yes...cane toads. Similar problems many years ago with prickly pear. The rabbits were brought in for hunting - yeah right!

Walking with 2 crutches is bloody exhausting when you finally go outside and have to try to keep up with 2 6 fotters, when you are only just above 5 foot in height. They said they were walking more slowly. To me, they were walking faster than they'd ever done before.

I did not have a lot of sp5/12 time today so I did not finish the grid. It is ra 4/4 for me to finish big grids. With such a huge grid,I used ap4/5 to help me today instead of monkeys. I found them playing on a ka4/8 on top of a mountain pe4/9 under the sunny sk5/18. When I found them,they le4/4ed at me. I guess they had heard by pa5/12 from monkeys how demanding I am. At first I was quite sk4/9tical about using them and thought they would give me trouble. But they pr 5/18d me wrong. I did not have to sp 4/5 with them. Didn't have to sp5/20 to them about their behavior. They did not we4/9 over having to help me.I lo4/7ed working with them. They se 5/16d me well. They ea 4/4 their rewards today.They we4/8 on the pr 5/20 and helped me find 176 words w/ea4/4. They we 4/8 good at finding words in the lo 5/18 left hand corner of grid. I had very wi 4/8 ap 4/5 today. They we 4/8 wi5/18 than my monkeys.After 176 words, my ap4/5 and I we 4/8 wo 4/5 out!They ro 4/4 with glee when I let them go. Was going to give them their bananas but they wanted pe 4/5s instead of bananas as their reward. I said "for pete's sa 4/8! I already pe 4/5ed your bananas for you!"
