My poor Bear has no stuffing, lost his growl, has one ear and one leg, no eyes, , and a tirny paw mended with navy sock-wool. Of course he's almost hairless -- a sign of too much loving.
we had one like that Christine, our first son found it out in the snow and brought it in to warm it - was gray and black - until I put it through the wash!
turned out it was a panda
and by the time it went through all four kids, it was threadbare - when one of the kids was sick on it, I figured it was time to give him an honourable burial
