She's not strictly allowed upstairs in that she's not actively encouraged to be upstairs. But when the top of the stairs need to be guarded, you have to give leeway.

Heard cats fighting in the early morning, our cat came in and I noticed he had a bloody patch on his leg, so he was one of the fighters. LEg didn't look too bad and he was licking it to clean it up. That night we let him sleep in the house, instead of the utility where his bed is and he can go out the cat flap if he wants. So, he slept on the sofa. Next morning hubby came downstairs and found that the cat had used the kitchen sink as his toilet! there were scratch marks all round the bowl where he had tried to cover it up!

he is a good cat for trying though
It was much easier to clean up than if he'd done it on the carpet. Yes, he is a good boy.

Small Paws Rescue has lots of puppy mill rescues. They will only give them to homes with a socialized dog and no kids under 10 y.o.
The lady rescued some of them but this one dog they wouldn't give up. I think someone is going to buy the dog. Even if she has to be put down she wont have anymore suffering

I was surprised that I was deficient. It's certainly not from lack of sun exposure. Up until recently, I wasn't eating a lot of fruit though, so that could be part of it.

it's not in fruit. it's not in anything. the only way you can get it is fortified milk or juice, where they've added it. and they don't add it to the milk before they make cheese or ice cream or anything so you can't get it from other dairy either.
and if you do what is advised with sunscreen to prevent skin cancer, that may (i forget if they are sure about this yet or not) inhibit your ability to make it from the sun, too.

I think that when you reach 45 you should automatically be put on a waiting list for either body transplant or new parts. That way, the way the NHS works now, you might at least get a replacement hip by the time you're 80.
Lil - ears are so important for balance, as is your big toe. Labrynthitis (I think it's called - loss of balance due to ear problems) is horrible. I suffered it briefly and hope it doesn't return.
he thing is they give you a replacement joint when you are 80 but not when you are younger and need it more because they don't want you to wear it out!!i don't understand that!!

You either don't sleep much, or the sleep you do have is punctuated either by hot flushes and trying to cool down or by dreams and hallucinations. It's not a bundle of fun.

I knew I was hallucinating because the cooker was next to the bed and I was grilling sausages for the family, even though I knew they were all in bed. But my mind told me that I should have made dinner.
And my mind kept waking me up just before I went into deep and proper sleep.

I had another with my stepdaughter asking about when dinner would be ready in it and another where Beloved and me wher in bed in a strange long empy room where characters who looked like they were from The Rocky Horror Show, leant against our bed and did their best to prevent me putting a light or lamp on to deal with the crying baby on the other side of the room whose mother seemed to have abandoned it.

Actually what got my oldest son the best was threatening to go back to college with him!! He turned white...
I heard myself accidentally saying something I thought I would never say, last week. My daughter, 23, was saying how long it would take her to finish her masters degree after uni, find a job, find a fella etc., and that took her into her 30s. Suddenly, I heard myself saying, 'Don't leave it too long!'
I did say 'I can't believe I just said thaty!' after. But it's been said, so no going back.
Well, it's true enough...so glad I had mine in my twenties...my sister in law had her lasat at 40 *shudders*
I had a career, but that was after I'd been informed by ex hub that there would be no children, at leasrt not in my early 20s. I decided that 1st child should be born by the time I was 27 and 2nd before I was 30. I achieved both goals but lost the husband.
But look what you have now!!
My first at 24, second at 28
Eventually, many years on, I found a new love. He's got a tenaged daughter who's driving him nuts. I never wanted another child, but I've got her, and I think I handle her better than her Dad does.
Have to say that I am very proud of both of my kids.
As for Step? She's not performing well yet, but we'll see.
Me too, although my youngest is struggling getting off his feet, this damned economy. He works under a contract as a chemist; some jobs 6 weeks, some 2 days...he's desperate to get a 'real position'
My daughter, after a blip of 3 years in a mental health clinic, due to an eating disorder, is right on target now. My son, could do better It's about time he looked for a job.
My oldest took 27 years and many mistakes to finally grow up!!

Our oldest went into the Coast Guard for that same reason..but now he's in college and doing wonderfully...some just need some time and life experience
