night une!
*poof* LOL
mcurl, in Windows 7 you can do a search and drag the B to the desktop where it will be a shortcut. You have to tell it to Run. Maybe others more techie-wise than I am know a better way, but it works for me.

how do you get it on Mac?
hi ru

Hello flosey. I was lurking and just seen your post. I have some of my quilts that I can put in my profile. However, I am dog and house sitting for my son and using his computer. Going home later today to pick up my laptop so will put some up when I get back.

ge5 between a ge4 and adding -es to it?
thanks grem anyway
gnight melon
looks like all the other G5 are in singular/plural pairs
actually, that one was too
perhaps I should go through my Gs and add Ses on to everything, I seem to always miss plurals
either add S or remove one from the ones you have
and... yep, missed yet another plural (winds)... fireworks! :o)
well done, dfm!
fireworks
looks like my list has an extra word --anyone know what it is? (if not I'll go find it)

great to have it back, eh uu?
it's new to me, jilli, but it really is amazing
I've been chatting too much so I'm not even halfway -- want to get there before going to bed.
It makes a huge difference, doesn't it, uu.
it does but I am going to go to bed, see you all tomorrow!

can't imagine, flosey!
pill starting to take effect, off to bed, 63 for tomorrow

yes ursh i jus got 6 of them in a row - stupid froggy time for a coffee me thinks!!! brb
hi crys, frog! :o)
hey
good morning. Happy Sunday! Another beautiful, flowery day
Good Morning Ruby - we have another lovely cooler day - we have had extreme heat right up until a week ago - so cooler weather a great relief
it is funny, having friends in SAS and Oz! You are all upside down (or rightside up, depending on your point of view!)
same here. Todays cooler weather is lovely
hi crystalle. I am loving the warm spring
Hopefully we are going into winter - Durban has lovely mild winters but fierce summers with humidity which is very draining
Although I've been in SA several times (on biz), I was never able to see Durban, to my regret. Was mostly in PE
Yes you said Ruby - my brother lives in PE and they are presently having awful drought and water shortages
I loved going to PE, had never seen the Indian Ocean before going there the first time
Their house backs up on a nature reserve and they have to be careful cos puff adders are coming into their garden to drink water from fish pond
that is scary!
how big are puff adders, so are they easily visible?
sone
sorry, more coffee in the pb
short fat snakes but well camouflaged so have to watch for them carefully
do they go after cats or dogs?
most number of bites from puffies in SA cos they are very lazy and get stood on - animals seem to avoid them mostly - instinct i suppose
they much prefer smaller american born women I hear
Hello all
clue for the 9 please
there are vipers here, but not many, so when I walk dogs in the field above us, I make a lot of noise with my feet
especially furry ones, lol, {{lynxx}}
lonest
hi Ruby
whoops again, tooo sleepy, stlill, so sorry
I am being treated like a criminal because I stayed in bed until 8:30AM!

Hi herin
Hello
HOw you all?
Bye all off to sit in the sunshine ... happy Babbling
Very well. How is the new job? good still?
It is. Have you heard of Omar and the Marvellous Coffee Bird in Gardenvalle Lynxx
Bye Norma. Job is great
I have heard & read, have gone past it but haven't stopped yet. Good?
It is great. The coffee is fantastic they mainly do sandwiches and pastrys
I'll make a point of stopping there for a coffee next time I head down that way
It is good and easy to get too
Morning all. Wondering if there is a list anywhere? not lickety or gremlin or volley...
Hi Jayk
love the sound of those pastries!
Lickety is there. If you look at Jilli's profile you can get a new version of Expert
Jayk it was really awesome
I am watching The Happening. Not terrible sure of it but at the moment their Zombie Plan SUCKS.
watching a program on SBS - interesting and scary
when i try to open it it says "the file is invalid or corrupted"
mine says i dont have permission to use it, but i can get the regular lickety jayk
Lickety? or Expert?
expert--the in jilli
That sounds interesting the show Lynxx
ivesy--how did you get the regular one?
Did you have Expert before Jayk?
no
just googled it and found it that way
at least i don't think so
If you have bookmarked Lickety before, you might be better off starting afresh / googling
i have babble expert lynxx.. but it wont let me load from that link in jill profile
and what would i google?
I don't know what I am talking about really - but maybe you need to get Expert from Lickety first - email him
just google lickey clues for babble
every time i try to email lickety i get someone named mark
Worked for me Ivesy - don't ask me the steps though, totally confused
Lickety's name is Mark
http://r46.me/BabbleClues.html HEre
me too, lol.. im using the regular one, have to enter the clues, but at least its a list
thanks ivesy! that worked
Jayk maybe it is costing him to use the server he has been using for free.
Ivesy - the regular one has a Bulk Add feature, look at the bottom of the list - very fast and easy
oh ok thank you will check it out
hi, all.I am using Babblle expert, and I'm getting a 404 error for lickety's list. is a list posted anywhere?
http://r46.me/BabbleClues.html
hi Angel, read the conversations just under
but lynxx--this mark says he doesn't have anything to do with the technicalities of babble...?
No he wouldn't. Lickety only writes Licketys Babble Clues or Babble Expert. DrG is responsible for writing and maintaining Babble
understand? not sure what you were asking Lickety
buses
sorry!
Dr G and Lickety are two different people. Lickety just does the clues for nothing. He does them for his wife Mr Pres.
i emailed lickety, he sent me expert.i didnt have any problems. only problem now is the error message for the clues.. happened a few times, then cleared up
It just happens. Lickety does this for nothing so heck if it doesn't work well meh
I think Google is giving Lickety grief Ivesy. If you can get that file on Jilli's profile open and saved, it will overwrite the version you have now
You can look at the conversations just after the flip today - may shed some light
i will try again later.. i do ok with some things with comoputers, but the messages stump me lol
same here!
how do i see the chat from b4
click on the iconon the far right (under My Account)
ok thks
hello everybody, back from lunch
hi Ruby
iTALIANLUNCH (NOT VERY GOOD) IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD; whoops, didn't mean to shout, too much grappa
too much grappa = good time obviously!
Hi Ruby
anything is better tahn cooking, even medi0cre food
((herin}}
agree with that
for nbt I need the 4th column d!
di7.36 hard to see in all this gloom
ty lynxxxx!\
BBL when this program is finished - it is too horrifying to miss
what are u watching lyn?
too funny, ol&, is that the opposite of youth
ol7
bonjour jean
bonjour ruby :-)
Good morning
hello kap!!!!
I am watching the Happening. Lynxx is watching http://tinyurl.com/42fhrdk
ol 7/32 is the description of being elderly
di 7/36 is the description of being poorly lighted
that is a stretch, molly, but I already had it! I think achy and cranky would be better
Which one Ruby? The ol will also give you the 9
Ol 9 what is it please clues please
9? there is a nine? hahah
got it, thank you, molly. Always a great provider!
The world has gone crazy. Both cats are sitting and sleeping together
In my opinion, a stupid 9, but the 9 today, nonetheless. It sounds like a word that would get a big red X on an English paper.
if I was doing the grading, for sure!
Herin, ol 7 is the description of being elderly. Or the state of being elderly. The ol9 is it's plural, if you can dig that.
Looking thanks
digging = bad idea for that noun!
Thanks
The ol7 of an item determines it's value in an antique store.
Looking
O for goodness sake I didn't see that
Would it be rude of me to use the cat as a foot warmer
if the cat doesn't get up, then he/she likes it. I do that with the dog
No he run off
does anybody have the t at the bottom?
I guess he found it rude. Hahah
No he run off before I did it
damn him
cats are so funny and smart!
134 and taking a break to look for fresh eyes
hugs everybody}}
Better grid than yesterday, at least.
The ti7 and 8 are not real words. To me, anyway. Put an r in front of the word that means in between. That won't work, but one who does and the the plural of that word will. Weird.
Sorry, put a T in front of the word that means in between. Off for more coffee.
Kind of like one who plays ti**** winks, and it's plural.
Here's the problem with that word from the other day- mosey. You can't pluralise it.
sure you can, you just add an s.
moseys? what about mosies?
HI Hurshy. Long time no see
Don't small boys start their fishing careers by catching ti8 in the States?
He mosies on down to the corner bar...
uh-uh.
well it just happens that in this case it's not mosies, it is moseys.
Apparently one can only mosey.
le 7,32 please
and yes, haz, they do. or they did. now they probably only catch virtual fish on video games.
le7/32 - males who take photographs, perhaps.
Thanks Haz, fireworks
Congratulations!
Hello, hurshy.
Hi Haz
Hello, herin and everyone.
Hey Haz and herin and all! V nice grid today but am making it last.
hello.
Hello, FM.
so i have 6 lazy i words and i have seriously no idea what else can come from that i
Haz, herin and hurshy - all the h's :)
Take your lazy words and extend them in French fashion.
I've got 7 of them so far
Sunny with you Haz?
ok that gives me two more - should it have given me all 3?
Two of the id words almost look like French for lazy woman/women if that makes se5/10.
oh most!
got it.
I'm still missing an i from that corner.
I have 7- are there more?
It's lovely, FM, really warm.
it's most lazy
unless you missed the 8
have 9 lazy words
All 9 are relating to the quality of not working.
who knew you could be lazy so many different wasy, but suitable for a Sunday :)
I have the 8. I am probable missing a fish.
hey, haz, hursh, kaplan, et al :-)
There are two id8 - one is the quality of not wishing to do anything, the other is the plural of the French looking one.
Hi Une!
id8/45 - first three lazy letters followed by the biggest portion possible of the s.
I don't have the french. Will keep looking.
hey, fmitch!
the "french" looks like women who are lazy
good morning Babblers :)
hey, non
*nono
thanks for the french looking ones Haz I had all but those
It's the same ending as in the French phrase 'Nob***** oblige'
Thank you. A lazy female?
You're welcome, Nono.
See my hint below, Kaplan.
what about the lower m?
Ahh, the light bulb went on - thanks.
are they all center words?
they all start with mi + double consonant
so whose profile has the list today?
Good clues for the id 7 and 8 Haz.
4 are mm the other 2 are old word for muck heap and pl.
mi6/27 - a dung heap and its plural. Clothes pegs on noses.
lickety does, hursh
Lickety has a list today. You need to Google search "Lickety's Babble Clues" to find it.
Thanks, Molly.
havent looked for one yet hurshy
why is the link on here broken?
Talking of which HAz, have you watched any of the Filthy Cities series yet - I will be i-player'ing the 1st one this afternoon.
The link on this page is broken. Dr. God needs to fix that.
I've seen the trailers, not sure whether to watch or not. It'll depend on whether it's on at a suitable time.
Don't know hursh but there is a new link for babble expert if you use it (saved it in my profile)
I think it is 9pm Haz hence i-player.
i don't use expert i just get his printable clues. but thanks.
9 pm? Sure the evening's only getting started.
Must go and stir the cooking put. Back in a bit.
what is Filthy Cities? something informative, or something trashy?
It's very informative, hurshy, giving a historical analysis of how cities such as Paris and London developed their systems for sanitation.
well that's a relief. i didn't want you and FM sullying your minds :)
It's written and presented by Dan Snow. You'd find details on the BBC website.
New York features as well so we've not left out the New World.
No, our minds remain unsullied. ish.
i hate new york.
Why do you hate new York?
I've never been so I couldn't possibly comment. My daughter visited it recently and she loved it.
Vegetables need to be looked after - off I go!
it's cold hearted and mean and the buildings are tall and everything feels so crowded and the traffic is terrible...
Central ParK! The Metropolitan Museum! Hidden streets with little gardens! Street musicians! Blends of people! Washington Square!
Queens!
Ditto what kaplan said! :-)
and great people-watching! :-)
sorry, just won't ever like it. i don't like chicago either. i can't stand the hemmed-in feeling.
Every place has it's good and bad points, I think NY City has more than its share of good points
Wow my kitty just pushed a rather heavy bag from one end of the coffee table to the other
I'm with Hursh on New York. It's the hemmed in feeling plus all the noise.
Soho! Noho! Upper East! Warm vibrant people! Just stay out of Time Square !
ok, gotta run pick up donated food for soup kitchen *poof*
Probably because the "city" I grew up knowing is DC. And there are no tall buildings there.
i prefer european cities. rome... madrid...
FM thanks for the link to the mended Babble Expert!
thanks for the backup molly :)
i always thought i couldn't be the ONLY person who objected to new york, and now my suspicion has been confirmed.
My husband got off the train en route from Canada to here in New York. It was 6AM and he said it was the loudest place he had ever been at that time of day. Give me a place with quiet mornings any day.
amen to that
I think some people take a shine to that kind of environment, and some don't. Me, I need to see the sky.
i love ny
all clues for the 9 and 8s most welcome!

thaks
yaya agel
working just dandy in chrome as well;)
Here kje some spare n's for you ;) n n n n n n n n n n n n n n
((FM))
ok, glad it's working, kje - I use chrome as well and it works fine there.
and yay for angelsong!
Hi ((crossy)) it's a good grid today and ehllo all.
webatx, the lickety link in Babble isn't working but lickety's clues themselves are fine - link in my profile.
Bless you, FM and hello everyone
Hey Annie!!!
uusue, which version of Babble Expert do you have? the link in yur profile will not pull it up.
FM, How does your garden grow? I have been lurking of late.
It is full of springness, sun, flowers and blossom Annie :)
Ok ty
I used the link that BR gave out earlier (it's in my profile) and it worked fine.
FM, Just lovely. I know you are enjoying it.
Does it just replace my other Babble Expert?
It is just a relief to see blue skies and sun for a change. Hope all is well with yo uand Bobby?
hi, angel, the link should open (or download, depending on your settings) a zip file which you can unzip and then run. It will install the new version of babble expert that Lickety posted last night. I just tried it again (in Chrome) and it worked.
Yes, I have the link working on AOL and I will try it on chrome.
FMitch has the same link.
car. I don't know what it does with the other Babble Expert since I didn't have it.
Bobby is well but his father passed away March 11. He has his moments of sadness but overall he is doing okay.
It is the same expert as before as far as I can see - it just works now *grin* Sorry to hear that Annie.
angel, I just tried it with Firefox and if you choose "save file" that should work as well.
oh! almost forgot, here is crossy famouse book quote of the day!...
We may sit in our library and yet be in all quarters of the earth.
good one crossy - you could almost say the same about the babble chog.
nice, crossy.
Wow Annie, strange somewhat sad synchronicity between us. My husband, who passed away last year? His birthday is March 11.
this is very true fm
A book in the hand is worth two on the shelf.
So what are you going to do with your day off today crossy and how is the weather there?
lol goose
we have our first real rain of the season and it is nice to see.i think i shall dawdle away the morning with this grid, then some laundry calls then maybe a nice drive in the hills and a stop for some fish and chips along the way
Excellent re the lunchtime/afternoon activities.
Hi all....clue please for en7/32?
speaking of geese (which led me to the usual one in the grid) the Hawaiian goose apparently doesn't have a plural. I know that I know this but I have to rediscover it frequently.
without a finish, flask
Flask - infinity
oh uusue the number of times I have done that with various babblets, drives me nuts - I should know better after all these years!
think thats bad? ever find yourself all done and in cluing mode, when all of a sudden you find yourself scanning the grid for more words?!
Glad to say I haven't done that one crossy.
good morning
howdy bob
does anyone know why when i try to load the new babble expert i get a "u dont have permission blah blah blah?
probably something to do with permissions on your computer, ivesy, are you logged in as administrator?
yes, i clicked open as administrator.. very frustrating
ivesy you may have to close the old one first
ok will try again.. u think it matters if its google chrome or internet expl?
Morning all. Does anyone know where I can grab a copy of expert? I was the one who goaded Lickety into creating it, and now he won't answer my emails begging for a new one. I lost mine in a PC meltdown last year.
possibly I think you have to use IE. I know it doesnt work on firefox
Sam the link is in my profile
Thanks, Nanette!
and it is also running fine on chrome
no problem
ok Crossy I wasnt sure about chrome
it's downloading a file onto your computer, ivesy, so once it's downloaded I don't think it should matter how you got it.
ok tried internet get same thing..says can open website but doesnt have permission... and thats run as administrator ahhhh
I tried to download it using firefox and it worked (at least to the point of asking me if I wanted to run or save the file - since I already had it I didn't go farther than that)
emailed lickety , see what he says
i just downloaded the mended one this morning when i found the link in FM's profile. Had no problem with it except I had to close the old one so that I could delete it from my desktop
when you download expert,go to the file it downloaded in,copy it and paste it to desktop and try selecting extract here and the yellowgif will show on the desk and waway you go
ivesy, if you send me your email I can email you the zip file - send to uusuzanne at yahoo dot com
its the zip file that the link in my profile is for
ok uusue will do that now
hi all.. i opened the file, now what?
do you see the yellow icon on your desk?
i don't know anything about expert. will i still need a list?
no
expert is all enclusive list and all
no icon. i opned it, i did not save it
it is built in
there should be an option like "extract all files", TO, if you do that it should run automatically.
can someone put the link up please?
ok and would i have to have opened it or don loaded it> i only opened it
its in my profile flask
am not able to access profiles
it's on its way to you, ivesy
ok then here it is: http://r46.me/BabbleExpert20110410.zip
ty uusue
ok i just ran it and it is open. surprised that i had to lof in to babble again
yes, I had to do that too, TO but then it worked fine.
ok so other than having vlue son the same page, what is the advantage?
ok uusue it worked tyvm!!
It's really easy to send words back and forth between Babble and the clues, TO, just click the buttons at the top.
and if you want to word hunt without the clues you can click on the yellow vertical bar and they will hide.
and as you type in the words they will automaticly be added to the clues list
this is too much for me
Or open Lickety Add, and it will populate both lists simultaneously.
anyway I have to go get dressed, we are meeting with some friends about getting horse trails in the county forest preserves - not my thing but SO is very interested. I will continue to grade papers while they talk.
bye uu
no worrying about putting words in chog .
bye uusue ty
i just closed it, i will muddle on
single words will not go to chog only pharses of two or more words unless its a 3 letter word
i nearly got booted, my puter won't handle flash well
expert is a wonderful thing;))
of course it is for those who want it. now i have seen it and know i do not
this is my first time in over 2 years using it.thought i would give it another whirl;)
the new and improved babble will orginize all this..if the good dr_g is ever finished with it:)
morning
((mom))
gutless is a word and should be accepted
hi ((Mom))
((Crossy)) good morning
It would be accepted, TO, if the l were next to the t.
it is indeed a word, but does not line up here i believe
Hello again!
((TO)) good morning
doh. hello mom, hello haz
((Nono)) good morning
good afternoon Haz.
and FIREWORKS***
Hello, Mom,TO, everyone.
way to go Nono
yaa for nono!!
sunday morning is all about animals today, mostly companion animals
i loved the segment on tough NYC cats alking a leash and intimidating dogs
omg these people have a DEER in their house. IN THEIR HOUSE. it is trained to go on a towel and has its own bedroom.
mimi c
:)) some really gread mi 7/8 words we do not see too often;)
great
e
lolT.O i have seen a therapy pot bellied pig lol
hi Inge
and it is bff with the family standard poodle
yes, but a deer. a DEER.
were are they TO I know its against the law here to keep a wild animal in activity
captivity *
hello Inge
deer do not like to be enclosed. hell you cannot even relocate them.
Crossy...I have a mi 7/8 that is "center" oriented. Are there more?
there are 3 related that i have foiund so far
4
http://tinyurl.com/3k3s5kj
I have 3 mi 7's that go with the center and the mi 8
mi6/7 combo that's very close to the center ones but different last letter
There's a mi6 and mi7 relating to dung heap(s).
I have one mi 6, two mi 7's
I am counting those . I do have that lower M grayed out.
pl one of the 7's mom
hi car
thank you Nono
hi all
hi jmc
hi jmc
hi je
Hello, jmc.
gotta run, happy babbling everyone
have a great day, Nono
by nono
Bye nono!
Hello All! I have completed my taxes. Whoo Hoo!
Hello Red, congratulations on that
red was JUST thinking about you, sunday morning story on fish right now
yaa for red!!
Good for you Red!
Oh Fish?
Congrats red, I still have to do mine....today is the day....
finished mine last day of feb;P
I should extend a proper good morning to everyone....Hello! Good morning!
cbs
wtg ref
*red
I just turned it on.
good morning Car.
i have 10 more to do
today's game looks a lot friendlier than yesterday's.
it is frank
Good morning Mom!
yes,yesterdays was nasty
good morning Frank
And good morning TO, from a few minutes ago!
I am still of course concerned that I did something wrong. My income apparently dropped last year.
did you do them by hand or on-line red?
thanks TO. I had no idea there was a goldfish association.
god bless H+R block:) never wrong and for 30 dollars, worth every penny
I used turbo tax.
not to make you worry crossy but i have found many errors in h&r block returns--very few people in life are NEVER wrong
same 30 dollars then, this way i do not have to imput everything
then red if you clicked the check return button and you reported all of your income you will be fine
yes my ex was irs and claimed the same about them, je
one year they found an extra 1000 dollars for me,so i owe them lol
everyone makes mistakes
Indeed It is possible for everyone to be wrong. My Mom and turbo tax this year had a HUGE arguement.
They made an error, and to undo the error, it took them 3 weeks and someone had to write a new code.
I almost always can find money for new clients in their old return
red how did your mom get hold of them to do so? LAst year they did not take that credit and i got more back from irs. irs letter is jarring
My only concern JMC is that more and more of the 403B are not really sending clearly marked forms, like "THIS IS FOR TAXES" ah well.
my goodness red! what a pain
what was the issue?
she called them.
since i am not running a new business atm,it is enough,if i ever get this bookshoppe/art studio open u shall hire a new accountant to grind numbers for me
back again briefly, will be leaving in about 5 minutes but wanted to say hi to my friends again :-)
I can not remember exactly, but some money showed up that was already taxed once and they wanted to import it and tax it again...
i could not find #. i should have received my $ backfrom them last year.
hi sue
hello uusue
i disagree with the tax forms lots but i just override it
hi uu
Hi uusue!
haz and mom still here?
Hi does anyone know of a list oday plz?
oh i would never use the import feature--too many opportunities for double accounting of money
I am.
does lickety not have one?
did you like that deer story?
http://r46.me/BabbleClues.html
there was a deer story.?
No - his link still won't come up.
TO, my opinion is that some people haven't the wit they were born with.
my earlier link http://tinyurl.com/3k3s5kj she is a vet and the fan was not able to go into the wild.
hmmm - now I am slightly annoyed at turbotax - they were supposed to send me email when my refunds came in but didn't
*wraps towel around head to keep wit from pouring out*
Thanks for that jmcnrick. I haven't been able to get licketty for days now.
those types of stories always engender mixed emotions in me
will have to save it and look at it TO in a bit.
but only slightly annoyed, that means I have more money than I thought in my bank account :-)
<===does not approve of rapid refunds as they are usurious
ok time to go. happy babbling to all
bye, TO!
May I have a clue or 2 for the left hand S? I only have 1 from that S.
Bye TO! Have a great day!
Fair enough if it can't be released into the wild (although can nature not sort things out?) but why have it in a house?
me too!! (on the left hand s) - don't have any from there yet!
See you later, TO, have a good day.
bye TO
well it seems to want to be there, it follows the dog in and out
The only one I have from there is sc 5
deer, moose, caribou, elk etc raised in captivity dues to mother abondonment or injury can almost never be released it they we taken in at a young age and will never last out the first winter
phantom: nemesis
ok, found a couple myself (from that s) - car., the one you have has a plural (if it's the one I have)
pl it car
Nope...different one. Mine is like what you do when you go down stairs....de***** them
Got the other ones now.
i am in texas looking at the bluebonnet sc**** or view
That is true, Crosshair. My parents have a similar situation with an abandoned baby squirrel that they took in.
when we were up north,we had a baby bull moose that had been hit by a car, just a bit of bruiing on his hind flank,he was lucky and we kept him for a month till he was well, but we had to turn him in to a local wildlife sanctuary as he could not be released back into the wild
stats for the D and T in the 4th column

Well done, Annie!
whoo hoo annie
Yeah Annie!
yaa for annie!!
morning all.. how do you get the "new Babble Expert "/
congrats, Annie!
First you send me a cheque.
lol, ok HAZ
lickety came on late last night with a url
Is anyone having a problem with the new Babble Expert or is it just my vast knowledge of computers that is hindering me. You all know I dont know what I am doing re: computers. Ask Haz.
but i just bookmarked the regular lickety
I can confirm that Annie is less than comfortable with computers.
TY, jmc.. I will check the chog log
and yet she bravely soldiers on and plays babble
Annie, I've been using the new expert without any problems.
yw snuffy
Aloy, it's been posted in FM's profile, I think.
nbt
The newest address that Lickety posted last night is http://r46.me/BabbleExpert20110410.zip
Thank you, Hazel and jmc for confiming my "comfortableness". I didnt have a problem until my last word and it just refused to accept it.
expert is working fine here
She and I can share the money, but do make it payable to me.
Whew! Got through those B
* B's
lol like i would trust you to pay over to FM *looks in mirror to see if looks like a chump*
wtg car
Shocked! Shocked! Casting doubts on my honesty and uprightness!
However, it was a nice grid.
Look what you've made me do! Exclamation marks everywhere!
so i got out of the rental car yesterday in the parking lot at Dot's Diner and was approached by a woman DRIVING a car and trying to hit me up for money for gas
ce 6/24 please?
*sweeps up exclamation marks for the recycle bin*
anyone like a clue before I take off to the supermarket? A friend is coming to visit for a week so I must stock the house with goodies. Haz, control yourself.
and i turned to my sister and asked if I had chump written on my forehead
Good grief JMC!
oo great annie! what kinds of goodies?
ce6/24 - first three letters as in the preceding ce6/21 but end with most of the horny things sported by elephants.
Annie...yes please....CE 6/24

Note how the pacifist solves problems?
*looks doubtful* okay
it's funny you say that, jmc, in Binghamton, the expression was "Is something written on my forehead?" e.g. stupid, etc
i object to war not an occasional smack
car. ---right clue here....ce ***art Little and plural letter
:-P
hello annie
hello jmc
I got it! TY!
are there still cherry blossoms in D>C> or is the season past
actually that is one of my regular things i say in my speeches: you don't have to be totally non-violent to be a conscientious objector to war--as i would tell my son when he would misbehave
t for the ce clue!
there are probably some ruby but i came to texas to see the bluebonnets, indian paint brushes, wine cups, etc
hi ((ruby))) I am remiss in answering my emails. Will write soon.
thank you Lady Bird!
it's OK; no pressure, annie
indeed! i went to her wildflower santuary
my son lives in the Texas hill country and it's really beautiful there this time of year
but the drought has taken its toll
apparently next week and near Dallas is the peak
the last time I went to Austin, a year ago July, it rained every day I was there (and was over 90F to boot)

OmG! Grammar, spelling and punctuation count??!?!?!
Are ti7 and ti8 not familiar words in the States? They're in quite common usage in Britain for the little fish that get away, before progressing to the BIG fish that get away.
Is there a clue list in anyoine's profille?
not common at all, Haz
or the mi* sized fish.....
nope car,i plan on typing everything in lower case without pause and may omit spaces later on lol
we'll intuit the spaces and punctuation, crossy
Thank goodness! I hate to be alone!
had no idea what that meant, so ty for the definition
lol ((ruby))
It must be a kind of regional expression, then, or maybe all fish are so big in the States that none count as ti8.
well, one of the beauties of Babble is input from all over the world (-:
indeed aloy:)
crossy is having great fun with this grid today;)
gotta head to houston and the airport

lol, dehydrated perch?
bon voyage, jmc!
Bye jmc!
ask welki since she fishes so much~
new word, parch = dehydrated perch
ruby,a good time fishing is not what you think, only 20% of the fun involves actual fishing
lol *poof*
bye, jmc
a neighbor brought me a couple, eyes and all, tasty but I just threw them in a pot and boiled them
a neighbor brought me a couple, eyes and all, tasty but I just threw them in a pot and boiled them
I am spoiled by fishing in the Atlantic as a little kid and later off Miami. THAT was fishing!
we just enjoyed some pompano, curtesy of our fishing neighbor
*poof* for now, 61 to go
Bye Ruby!
hmmm fresh pompano
ttfn, ruby
{{aloy and car}}
Clue for the first s0 7/28 please?
it is the peace of a quiet lake at dawn.you set iff as the sun starts to come up and burn the mist off the water,a loon calls hauntingly in the distance,as the shore vanishes from view leaving your worldy cares on the dock you smile and pour some sweet tea from your grandaddys old themos and your first cast of the day relieves all your stress..that is fishing
* so 7/28 that is
Nice Crossy!
lovely, crossy
so7/28 - I have two daughters. I am so7/28
Ty haz!
You're welcome.
(-: ty Haz
clue for mi6/21 please?
Fireworks!
Hooray for car.eeyore!!!!
mi + plain as the no4 on your face + plural letter
Well done, car!
noooooooo......thats not it!
mi plus last four letters of what firemen use to convey water. Or mi plus last letters of the flowers used as symbols of Lancashire and Yorkshire.
That is the only mi 6/21.
Sorry! My mistake! No "n" in the word
help for le 7,32 please?
le7/32 - males who take photographs
oh dear -- thank you, Haz!
good morning ladies
You're welcome, Erda.
Hello, ruru.

Aloy am on a different clue......sorry!
Okay, let me try to think of another approach, Flask.
Haz there is no H

*wondering if Haz has chosen her gown for the upcoming Royal Wedding*
Yes, I know, the last letters of the water carrying device.

Unaccountably, I have had no invitation, ruru.
oh.. I am shocked!

lol good thinking
idlestst
GOT IT!!!!
You can't get the staff these days.
thanx Haz!!
Excellent, Flask!
that would be it
almost
Glad you got there.
when is your daughter's wedding, Haz? how exciting (-:
so am I
they were afraid you would pull PRince Charles' ears
It's at the beginning of August, Aloy - 16 weeks and 5 days, or so I was informed this morning.
indoors, I hope?
Oh absolutely. Very few people would chance an outdoor wedding over here.
Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to have photographs taken outside etc, but you'd never bank on being able to be without rain.
really? in August?
You've obviously never lived in Britain, ruru.
I have never been to England true.. I do want to visit Scotland some day
rain...fog..mist...drizzle..dampness.. ...
The weather just isn't dependable enough. It could be brilliant sunshine, it coul be dull and damp, it could be chucking it down. So, we err on the side of caution and plan for indoors.
<---is now officially stuck with this grid
um I see.. good plan
our inuit people use over 200 descriptive words for snow, and i am sure you guys have a bout the same for rain lol
brb.. brunch has arrived.. think I'll keep this hubby
The gardens at the hotel (17th century castle, just to make all the Americans swoon) are lovely, and it's right at the coast, so if we get decent weather it makes for nice photo opportunities for the le7/32.
Is the only available clue list the one in Licketys profile > When it is printed we cannot sue it, the clues are too close together
Haz, I just saw that you were from Ballymena. I was there this summer. My wife's family is from there.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee begs e
Really, godthaab? There's a coincidence!
inge, check and see if there's a clue list on gremlinn's profile.
troll aboard ?
not sure inge..we shall see
Yes. We had a great time looking up relatives there. We found two of her fourth cousins there, as well as her mother's cousin, who is 90+.
inge, try dfmchfhf's profile.
but Gremlin's list is for April 5
How long ago did your wife's family leave? And where are you from yourself.
lickety is working again for another site
inge, try dfmchfhf instead - go to rankings and do a control F.
http://r46.me/BabbleClues.html
They left around 1923. Do you know McKillens?
Who doesn't know McKillens!
Me, my family is from Russia, Romania, Austria.
Help on Mi 6,21 please??
How do you get to Lickety's profile? I can't manage it from rankings.
te7 please?
That is one of my wife's fourth cousins. We met him and he was Very Hospitable.
Ah, so you're more of a European mixture.
This would be McKillens of shoe fame? I know the family, his sons were contemporaries of my husbands at school.
te7 - the feeling you get when under stress
Yes. There is even some distant royalty via my grandfather's brother. Are you in Ballymena right now?
ok...lickety says i have all the S's but the grid is not greyed out...?
I am, yes.
hello all
I've been living here for 29 years so am still a bit of a newcomer.
Shoes, yes that the place.
Hello, peri.
I am able to get lickety's clues but cannot get Babble Expert. I have the http
Is it Thomas (the third) son of Matthew (?) that you know?
phaeton, check that your entries in Lickety correspond with what's entered in babble, you may have missed one or something.
Yes, Thomas and David who's currently in Zambia.
What's the weather like there? We are in the middle of a thunderstorm.
thanks Haz...that worked for the S
It's lovely and sunny today, very springlike.
Wow, what a small world. You must mean the father of Thomas that you know. I think they all called Thomas.
I've always said that Northern Ireland is such a small place that you should never say anything about anyone because you're probably talking to someone's second cousin.
te7...the number pluraled and add ***imate ending?
nm...got it~!
Do you know Noleen Hall?
I don't think so.
She's from Dunnyvadden (sic) which is my wife's mother ancestral home. We found Thomas McKillen through her.
I've heard of Dunnyvadden.
I think it is about four miles outside of Ballymena. You have to search for it. I don't even think there is a sign for it.
I think it's up near Tully which would correspond with the McKillen connection.
.. back. Haz, my mind is conjuring up some lovely scenes of the wedding - what a venue!
Husband is a large animal vet, godthaab, and he knows every inch of this place and all the townlands.
Hmmm.. which Thomas do you know? Thomas runs the store, his father is Matthew, and HIS father is Thomas. Yes it is near Tully.
It is very picturesque, Aloy, I must admit.
I know the Thomas who's the son of Matthew.
crossy has a sudden desire to read james herriot:)
That's the guy we met. Doesn't he have little kids who are about 10?
do you like your future son in law Haz?
Yes, he has quite a few children and they had 'a wee late one' who is probably around that age.
I like him very much, ruru. He's very calm, polite and has a good sense of humour.
that's nice
how did your daughter meet him?
haz.. have you heard from Atalante.. I haven't seen her here in months and months
Funnily enough, he's the younger brother of her best friend. They've known each other for years and then gradually it all became more serious.
perfect !
i,s incinerated! yaaa!
Say Hi from Gary and Barbara in Canada next time you are in the store.
Atalante is working, ruru, and doesn't have as much time to babble as before.
oh.. I miss her humor and wit around here
I will, Gary, I'm sure Thomas will be interested to hear of the connection!
Aloy, google Ballygally Castle for a proper look at the reception venue.
will do, ty Haz
I miss her as well, ruru, we used to have long conversations about all sorts of things. Still, she loves her work so that's good.
She and I share the same sense of the ridiculous.
I am amazed I have continued with this game every day myself
omgosh.. gorgeous! even a link for "weddings".. so huge!
Save for the New Year 2009 wobble.
yes you do.. the two of you chipping in together was hilarious
wow, the Loch **** monster is in so many words
Aloy, you can now understand why I was asking for cheques to be sent for information about Lickety... It's the Daughter's Wedding Fund.
LOL.. so elegant - cheque is in the mail
Excellent!
is this the only daughter or must you start another fund too?
that's a lot of farm animals to take care of to pull off that wedding.. methinks
Good day to all.
I have another one! She's three years younger and has all sorts of fancy notions about weddings. We'll probably pay her to elope when the time comes.
Hello, Scrabbler.

Happy Sunday to you, Scrabbler!

Yep, Ruru--patterns! I look for patterns.
He's a magnificent talent. Have you been following the golf, Scrabbler?
Somewhat but more so today.
he's the new guard haz..
We're so proud of what he's already accomplished and yet has stayed pretty down to earth.
and he hasn't been caught with hookers like you know who
I actually remember watching a local programme about him when he was only 12 and the presenter saying 'Remember the name, Rory McIlroy'
I saw an interview with him and he is quite mature for his age--he's just 21!
OK, my hiking buddy just called so I must get ready. I shall return later.
See you later, Scrabbler.
have fun, Scrabbler!
We are going to the Erie County Forest--lots of trails deep in the woods. There is an island where we have lunch.
sounds like a lovely Sunday hike (-;

Look in my profile crossy
ty ((fm))
JBV use the 1st link in my profile for the standard lickety list (not expert).
yw ((crossy)), just happened to be passing the PC when you posted.
thanks, fMitch - I just tried and it works!
no, I mean the expert works! I think I didn't know how to open/run it before
Great JBV!
nope, spoke too soon, when I click on Refresh Clues at the top, I'm getting clues from apr 2
now it says URL cannot be found

Good luck JBV, I must be off again.
JBV - try http://r46.me/BabbleClues.html#top
oops too much lose the //#top

Can I return the favor for anyone?
I clues would be lovely
most of the words revolve around "hang around doing nothing," but two of them are very tricky
7 variations on doing nothing
all the bottom i's start with doing nothing

ty foam an kate - that's set me off to a good start
the other 2 start off the same, kateq, but get tricky

Help on mi 6,21 please?
idk. sorry!

hello. I am really confused re babble expert. I found lickety's new website: Babble Expert Haven. I tried to sign in but got a message saying either my e-mail address or password was incorrect.
i emailed lickety to ask for babble expert about a week ago but he hasn't replied
erda....sounds like the photographers eqipment
maybe our old log-ins won't work on the new site? (i didn't even know there is a new site!)
ooops..sorry that the me6/21
I am confused, too. Cannot get it to create a shortcut for the desktop...
(ha...welki-minute ... there is no log in)
The mi is like the man who led the Jews out of egypt, add a vowel after his first letter.
ty champ
erda...there is no mi6/21
yes there is. I have it.
Share, Champ?
see clue at 1:42
i did a google for babble expert haven .. can you access expert from there ? it looks like a blog to me
yeah..ok..looking at the wrong m...
there are lots of them!
Got it. Thanks, Champ!!!
yw!
I believe it was Jilli that put the web address for the new lickety expert in her profile
also check yesterdays chat log because lickety posted it in there too

Hi everybody. Back after a babble-free weekend. DT's were setting in.....
Soodle!
hi soodle
Hiya Champ :-)
& Jes :-)
OL9/60
thanks pugmama
Good grief. Any chance of a clue, Pug?
plural the ol7 if you have it
thanks, pug
Looking.......
that's a word?
state of being ancient
geez louise!
enable thinks so... but i'm not sure how trustworthy enable is :)
no joke! Soodle, are you watching the Masters golf tournament at all?
happy babbling, maybe back later for last 13
bye, pug
bye pug!
Keeping an eye on it, Champ. Is the Rory still doing well?
He's now tied for the lead with some cute young S. African
Golly. I got the OL 9. (Having just spent the weekend minding my elderly parents, I should have got that long ago... LOL)
They're both adorable...the little golfer kids!
I saw Rory being interviewed about his preparation for the Masters. Wow. Talk about strategy....
LOL Champ. Fun-sized golfers!!
He was so calm and collected! Amazing! Had some mis-cues today. Yes, fun sized! :)
I'm not a golfer myself, Champ, so I am not glued to the TV. I'm only taking an interest from a 'national pride' point of view!
The co-leaders are 21 and 26. WOW! And Tiger seems to have woken up. Yes, I only follow occasionally. My dad was passionate about his golf!
Like I said, I just spent the weekend watching my parents - both of whom were avid golfers, back in the day. I am happy to be golf-free now, and babbling away :-)
How are they, soodle?
Champ, I am not trying to be faecitious (sp?) but if they were horses, they would have been shot long ago! They are both in their 80's, and between them have numerous health problems. But I am very very glad they are both sill alive and kicking!
anyone have the lickety URL?
in my profile Shirlockc
Got it! That's funny that you say that. I always told my mom I'd never put her in a home...I'd shoot her first! She didn't really appreciate that, though. ;)
That was very tongue in cheek about the horse thing.... If I didn't laugh, I'd cry!
yay, lickety's back! :D
really? scampering off now...
Hello Dan. Hows the mini-Dan?
PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
baby2bit is great - her first birthday is (gasp) less than month hence
so soon, dan? wow
Your profile pic is just adorable. I have no doubt she is Babbling....
yes it has flown. but, it also seems like she's always been with us
she is obsessed with keyboards, laptops, phones, remotes - anything with buttons
Isn't that just the way with kids? Before you have them, you can't imagine life with a kid. Then they arrive, and you just can't visualise life before them. Mother Nature at her very best!
And, as for Lickety - He is as welcome as the flowers in Spring!
Then, they hit 16, start to drive, and you want to beat them up all the time! Wait...that's just me. :)
hahah Champ
just like her nickname dan ... how cute
Nope, Champ. I'm with you there!
I don't really beat them, but there were pats on the rump when they were little and would do something dangerous, for sure!
thx for the URL dan2bit
not just you, champ. i wanna beat my co-worker's 16 year old regularly ;)
They probably need it then, jes!
Pats on the rump never did anybody any harm whatsoever.
My 16 year old is currently grounded for lying to me. She was roaming the streets of the neighborhood at 2 a.m. Luckily, her older brother saw her, so she came home to face the music. We are having TOGETHERNESS now!
yeah, her daughter got pissed recently when they told her she was no longer allowed to drive their truck (after 4 tickets!!!) and grabbed a knife and ran off into the woods...
a knife? hmmm...that's not ideal. :)
Ouch, Champ. 16 is such a tricky age. I have a 16 yr old daughter as well...... But luckily, we live out in the country, so she can't get anywhere unless I drive her, so I still have a modicum of control.
yeah. i dunno what she thought she was gonna do.
She drives. She was supposed to be at a friend's house. There's a curfew of midnight here, so luckily the law is on my side. A policeman could've arrested her for being out. So...I win!
Oh, Jes. That must have been scary..... Teenagers are so...... teenagery!
child's minds trapped in adult bodies
I find it funny that her 24 year old brother is the one tattling on her, as if HE didn't ever do anything wrong!
never a good combination
Jes, did she come back of her own accord?
no, her dad called work, and mom left work early and went and got her bf, and they all went out in the woods looking.
found her and hauled her back home.
GOOD GRIEF!
yeah. i rather think the beatings may have needed to be started earlier... you know, 12 years ago or so...
kid has serious attitude, and not a lot of forethought.
Insurance for a teen driver is a nightmare. After 4 tickets, don't they suspend your license? And yes of course, beatings!
I find that many of them just don't consider consequences. Mine know about them, but so many of their friends don't think that extra step ahead!
Oh my, Jes. (Dan - avert your eyes..........) Being a teenager is just such a Jumble. Hormones, growth spurts, insecurities, trying to assert yourself, sheesh. I would't go back there for all the tea in China!
we joke (her mother and i, the mother knows the issues are there) that she bred for show-quality, not work-abilty. Both her daughters are drop dead gorgeous, and absolute nightmares.
yeah; that's why she's not allowed to drive. then she got pissed that dad wouldn't let her take the truck ANYWAY, despite having gotten the notice of suspension just 2 days prior.
Glad they didn't cave.
yeah. still... they're in for a rough few months with her, i think.
What a lovely way of describing her - Show quality, not work ability! Says it all!
If only she could be frozen like that. So much easier!
yeah... she'd do great in a show-ring ;)
OK...I don't have a single word for the s in the first column. Help!
sc5 and 6
and again, I am obviously blind! Thank you wildcat!
just made apple cheddar scones -- yum if i say so myself
one of the se4s may come from there, but i'm not sure.
send me one, shirlock? :)
jess, you daughters story is not setting me at ease when i myself have a 17 year old boy in the house:((
Me too, me too.....
Hello Cross :-)
we have company lunch on fridays and we had mexican
got > 30 containers of shredded cheese
howdy soodles
Hi cross! Soodle, 3 way tie for the lead. Tiger crept up!
not MY daughter, crossy. I haven't one, but would like to think i'm a better trainer than THAT :)
which would go in the garbage! i felt bad so took it home and been doing cheese scones, biscuits, cookies
oh sorry jess:)
that's my co-worker's kid. closest i've got is a 14 year old step-son, who is actually a darned good kid, though i can't take credit for it, i didn't meet him until he was 12
Shirlockc, great idea!
bring it into work tomorrow, recycle, reuse :)
AM I the only one who finds the latest lichety clues super difiicult to use. I am ready to quit Babble altogether, adn to preserve my happy memoires from years past.
<-------------Would absolutely LOVE a cheese scone now.
mmm cheese scones....
cheese anything! LOVE cheese!
no, inge, i just bookmarked the page and use that instead of the link.
Ever had cheese balls, as in sausage, flour, and cheese? AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My computer knowledge does not extend that far.
so, we are having an autism awareness walk here in our city.. my sister started it,as my nephew is autistic. very slow registrations at first. we are now up to almost 250 people!
fireflies
hmmm, i should look that recipe up, is it cream cheese or shredded cheddar?
its' a beautiful thing!
yaa for wildcat!!
WTG wildcat!!!
yay wildcat!
shredded cheddar. It would probably be on the Jimmy Dean sausage website.
ivesy, that's typical. Wait till you see who tries to show up on race day!
lol... plz.. my sister is already have panic attacks.
Is she doing race day registration? There are any number of people that will show up and try to register that day. No kidding. If she wants to take them, she needs to be ready.
Inge -- are you using BabbleExpert or are you a Mac person? Lickety's clues are just as they always were. Don't give up! What are you finding difficult?
Hello all!
howdy jilli:))
no i dont think so .. the cutoff was last thurs. get a t shirt for registration.. they are having a bounce house, face painting, auction
and how can licketys clues be any easier or difficult? you get stats, frist 2 letters, length of word and point value
That's great! Good for her. Bet it more than doubles next time.
i think it will too.. this is the first in our city, though they have them in bigger places around us.
BabbleExpert was broken for a while but it's fixed now -- new link in my profile. Unzip, right click, put it on your desktop.
Word will spread. Love it! Autism is so prevalent now.
never realized how much, until my nephew was diagnosed.. so smart, but he has his moments
n oise
oops
crossy,s fat fingers...
last re6?
don't have it shirlockc
crossy, I guess you avoid the PB because of the space? :)
Sorry - was on phone. Yay Wildcat. And Ivesey - best of luck for the Autism Awareness run.
the only re6 i have so far is to email again
ty soodle
working through my r,s as we speak
Ivesy, best of luck with the Autism Awareness Walk. Check out the stats. Autism has increased in big numbers since the early 1990's.
last re6 - re+ consonant+ to facilitate
Champ - just tuned into the golf... seems its still all to play for....
(((Molly))) How are you, my friend?
hi molly, bethaney
Yes, early yet soodle!
Hi. Anyone have the mi 6, 21? I'm not seeing it.
Hi Soodle, Hi Jess.
yes...the Old Testament man that delivered the Jews out of Egypt. Add a vowel after the first letter.
thanks, champ
Beth, I saw it clued earlier as... The person who led the Jews into the promised land, with a vowel after the first letter
Perfect. Thanks!
Hottest day of the year so far here (Well, its only early April..). Clear blue skies, gentle breeze, daffodils and tulips abounding, and everybody in good humour. Yay for Sunny Sundays!
91 here yesterday and 90 right now -- breaking records left and right -- whew!
soodles we have 14c and have just had our first thunder storm of the year and now the air is all scrubbed and fresh smelling and we are all walking around in our t-shirst staring up that that warm orage thing in the sky lol
91??????? And we thought we were doing well with 68-69!!!
53f, windy, cloudy here.
and we are happy with 50! lol
soodle, it's insane -- think they said that's 25 degrees above normal . . .
grey skies, gusty wind, rain here -- daffs blooming, and early tulips. We had 2 whole days of sun but the forecast is for about a week of this stuff.
crossy struggling to remember american conversions...
jilli, my mom's sweet Spanish bluebells that I dug up 2 yrs ago are blooming -- a lovely remembrance
and an assortment of columbine in bloom :-)
And it's cold -- 10C (c 48F)
Une, that sounds so lovely.
How lovely, une!
I'm sporting a lovely sunburn from being in my pool reading yesterday. it was 88...same today, if not higher.
houston . . . hmmm, not surprised!
back in a mo *poof*
watch those sunburns(crossy has many groups of stiches on his belly from melenoma)
Oh, a mild case of sunburn sounds pretty good to me right now.
<--- envious of Champ
Une, my daughter recently met Taylor Swift ( A Nashville-gal, I am assured) She was tickled pink when I told her I was chatting with a person in Nashville.
oh well,crossy tried...
it's not all that mild, and yes crossy, I was an idiot! Reading in the water, and time went by me. First time out this year.
wear that sunscreen
Taylor's coming to Houston in November, tickets just went on sale, and tweens everywhere are going berserk!
I know crossy. Did my stupid stunt for the summer. Next time, more careful. Lost my mind, I think!
my belly looks like 2 doctors were bored and had a game of x,s and oh,s
my cousin's hubby died of melanoma (avid golfer in NC) -- crossy's warning very much taken to heart.
BUT...when one has sunscreen, and the weather is nice, poolside is a great place to be!
ok good stuff ladies:) crossy does not want to lose even on of you
ty for the well wishes on our walk molly.. hoping weather gets warmer, as we will walk near lake
one
time for lunch -- back later...*semi-poof
but he does get to go to the pb again :)
bye, jilli
Champ, my youngest actually met her! (Moll has seen the evidence....) At 16, she declared it to be the best event of her life....ever!
OH...mine 11 year old would fall over right then! How fun! She seems to be really nice.
*My*
The pics of my Suzie and Taylor are on my FB page, if you care to look...
Let's be FB friends soodle! How do I find you?
My email address is in my profile, Champ. Use it to do a search on FB.
I have it from when I sent you a joke. No prob!
hi and good day.
Anyone have a good clue for the di?\
howdy bichon
state of being less than bright
oh, crud. pb for me. sorry.
Bye jess! Is crossy still in there?
When a light is not bright, it is di3...plus the Loch monster.

i dunno. if he is, i hope he shares his bacon :)
ty Molly. Sort of describes my mental state today
and i always share my bacon:)
Mine too Bich, most days.
oh, crossy, there's a new bakery in town here. they have chocolate covered bacon. :)
I love bacon. I love chocolate. Together? Blech!!!
lol,the bacon madness continues..:) some nice babble shared a link with me for a bacon scented inhaler so i can get the taste of bacon anytime without the calories...
chocolate covered bacon yum!
2 squirts and you are ready for the ball:)))
ce6/24?
Crossy, that sounds like the smokeless cigarettes. Great idea!
lol almost champ
A girlfriend of mine has one. It's steam, I think. Looks real though. Whatever works!
m.i.l has those esmokes, guess it is better than the real thing, but she says it is overhyped
Well, she does it when she can't get away to have a real one. Not full time.
census
my m.i.l is 72 and on oxygen,so she has no choice, she is done with real smokes
dc, gimme one that works!

hello babblers - BR I just saw the pictures on the news of that dreadful flooding - I hope you are safe and sound
howdy, kal :)
Just have to have the dikes and sandbag to hole until the River level drops 20 feet to get below flood level.
Oh No Flooding again. oh wow.
hi JBV
Hello, JBV .. I am fine and dry.
seems we were just chatting about it BR, guess the snow melted too fastly.
hi BR and Red
Yep. A bit of snow remains. LOL
hello kallia and all who entered while I puzzled.
Hello, Kallia
hi Kallia
I have no experience with river flooding but I did have a flood in my basement one year when we had mountains of snow and ice in the backyard and it rained for days..... so helpless knowing the water is coming in and there's no way to stop it
hi kalia, red, and BR
Hello, lbd and all
Fargo was lucky again because the temps remained lower than average for so long .. slowing the melt.
There is a product called Instant Sandbags, originally UK but available here and in US. We bought some for our doorways. Maybe worth a look
yes, a slow melt - that's ideal

Hello Babblers
hey wht
ok, sorry, was on the phone negotiating with the kid about where to take him and his GF for her birthday dinner. I think we have it figured out :-)
and thx to BR for the lo8, I was struggling with that one.
well if you are paying i think you get to pick
we gave them a short list :-) but SO has celiac, GF is allergic to wheat and is a vegetarian, and it's Sunday night and places are not open forever (and are a considerable drive from here). But we are going with our first choice.
oh yes that gets complicated then
Hi there. just checking in to see if there's a list somewhere. I've done all I can on my own. 41 left and ready for a list. Help or advice on finding one?

whoooo hoooooo Doxy!!
are all of the words from the bottom i id words?
ty doxy. That is fireworks for me.
they are, TO
yep
and yay, wht!
yikes, ok!
In fact they are all very lazy words.
nice work wht
they are ALL lazy? hmm. i have 6 lazy words
i ahve 6 as well
I have 7
two of them are kind of Frenchified
They go from lazy to most lazy
are the id7/8 the french ones
mi 6/27, mi 7/40, mi 8/55
Lazy French women?
frenchified. now i am craving french fries
night all.
pc, there are lots of words about being not first, not last, but in the mi6/27
Not at the ends, PC
now i have 8, got two frenchy ones
can I get help with those TO?
I got those two . . . singular and plural, but am missing the others
7 and 8 - a person who is in the mi 6/27
Before you get to the mi6, 27 of the mi's, there are two words referring to large piles of shells.
wah... i am still missing an id word!
amd apparenty one cannot be id-less
finally
TO. You start out lazy and then when you have lazed long enough you enter a state of laziness and become a lazy person. Then you are beside yourself and there are two of you, so you go to France and you are beside your self there and that is how you become the most idle person of all.
lol
large pile of shells . . . I am stumped!!
And that is how I get to go to the PB.
i am so lazy that i have no ambition to finish tonight
baha good story
PC. preshistoric people lived for years in the same spots by the ocean and ate lots of shellfish. They kept throwing the shells in piles outside their settlement and the eventually became good sized hills. Archeologists love them.
Or not ends + bear lair.
what are you cluing, wht?
thanks wht . . . finally got it!!
a mi 6/7 combo
only 45 more to go :/
for the life of me i cannot see 1 more word
could be worse, you could have 130 to go!
Which one aren't you seeing TO. :^)
45 of them, wht
Can you be a little more specific? Can you suggest a starting letter?
There is on7 which is the state of being in unity.
ok i exaggerate. i just saw 4
does anyone know where I might find a list, please?
http://r46.me/BabbleExpert20110410.zip
http://r46.me/BabbleClues.html
ah, thank you...
so 7/28, so 6/18, so 7/28
so7,28 is to have only daughters. The next two are 17 line poems in iambic pentameter.
great clues wht!
yw
bu6/27 and bu7 pls?
Well, I am going to summon up enough courage to go watch the Red Sox game.
better than the cubs...hehe
I think the bu6 is a kind of gas, probably flammable. One letter off from what is used in lighters.
The teaser on the top of the Boston Globe this morning was, Red Sox end 1 game winning streak.
ouch.
do they still play the blues in chicago, when springtime finally rolls around, when the snow melts away ,do the cubbies still play in their ivy covered burial ground? when i was a boy, they were my pride and joy,but now they only bring fatigue, the home of the brave, the land of the free, and the doormat of the national league lol

I would find it hard to sleep, too.
hi again, all! Back from taking kid and GF to dinner - sushi buffet :-)
hey sue!
Hey, stid! How are things?
not bad -- I think I am in good shape, but had panic attacks today over all the things I did NOT accomplish over break. I hate panic attacks.
oh, yuck. I know how you feel, though; I never accomplish anywhere near as much as I think I will when I have days off.
otherwise, I rearranged some binders and ... oh gosh. I still need to find flip books for the kids for tomorrow! *sigh*
at least I am not alone ***big hugs of gratitude*** thanks sue
panic attacks? no fun at all
np, stid :-)
ooh - line of storms moving through here - if I vanish suddenly, don't worry, it's just the power going out :-)
I hadn't had one that strong in quite a while. But they are really familiar, so I know how to work through them. Which is a good thing.
golly, sue! I'd be having conniption fits over that, too!!!!
got candles handy, uusue?
no but my new fancy cell phone has a dynamite flashlight app :-)
that'll run the battery down though; and with no power, how will you charge it?
through the laptop computer, of course :[)
oh dear... *shakes head sadly* such a gadget person, you are!
uusue, all the storm warnings have been lifted for our county :)
anyway, it's just about bedtime so I don't really need light that much longer anyway...
hah
okay, supper is done, going to head out for real. down to 79. Not bad for a couple hour's leisure!
**hugs and choclits for all** *poof*
sleep sweet, std
bye, stid!
so where are you, leaf? We still have a tornado watch until 1 am...
DuPage
I know uusue they just had alert come across the tv
oh, ok. Rain is starting but from the map the storm only looks about 10 miles wide, should be brief.
