carlee I thought as a single mother of two boys and broke I just knew I wanted to go to school. my brother said there was no way (whom I put through school on my dime) and that he could not help me at all. Well that day I went of the FAFSA site and found that they give money to poor women and I applied! 48hrs later was registration and I walked into the school knowing nothing because I droppe out in the 10th grade and got my GED. I met Ruth Parker (who was advising at a table) and the rest is history. I walked the walk in May with my gold tassle and I get my degree Aug 1st. All payed for by God and the USA

he saw a therapist today (second visit); she thinks he ought to get all new friends (which he is sort of doing anyway although it's not always that easy) and and also that he is showing some signs of PTSD, which would not be at all surprising

anyway it is not clear to me exactly what the consequences are of her not appearing at a deposition requested by the defense lawyer in a criminal case, but they are not good.
( that does not happen here..police interview...and crown and defence gets copy of the interview
and her choices are 1) lie or 2) implicate herself. If I were her (which I would never be), I would probably choose 3) don't say anything.

right now as far as the law is concerned, she is the victim and he is the perpetrator; he swore out a complaint against her later but as far as I know nothing has happened with that yet
(there are at least two murder cases, one over 50 years old, and one attempted murder in the court system in our little county right now, so this is probably nowhere near the top of their priority list)
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. I'm rooting for your boy, Sue.

cyber, i havent actually tried many of their recipes. i have found some good blogs that happen to post the WW points (both new and old program) and i have also converted some of my own recipes using the calculator. but i did buy the newest cookbook, so we shall see!
oh no nan.... they can taste just a good, if not better than normal... because they've taught me to use more herbs and spices etc.
none of them used butter for baking -- just crisco and vegetable oil in very limited quantities -- might as well eat plastic!

My horrible neighbours moved away some months ago. However, we came back from holiday to see that the new neighbours had screwed a piece of trellis to the little wall between our properties at the front. Thing is, the wall was built by me to stop the paperboy whizzing his bike twixt properties and damaging my plants. Thing is, we built the wall 6" to the right of the shared drain. That's the drain you have to get to within moments when a thunderstorm comes and get the cover off it to prevent or at least slow down any threat of flooding.
