my assistant's daughter is pregnant right now. She's all the way up to 108 pounds. it'd be easy to not notice. and i know several women who said they continued to have periods up to about 5 months of pregnancy.

I work with teens and i understand all too well how they can end up in those predicaments. it is sad for all involved.
we have about a 3% adoption rate of our babies; about 3/4 of our women are not legally married but may be "culturally" married; which the state doesn't recognize.
I see far too many pregnant teens and teens with STDs. They are ignorant and do not ponder the risks.
especially in areas where the only "sex education" that a lot of schools provide is the equivalent of "sex is evil and you'll go to hell if you do it, so just don't. You don't need to know anything other than that, so don't look things up, either!"
I mean, I was pretty smart and mature as an 18-year-old, but I don't know that I would have reacted in a particularly adult way to pregnancy
but lets all stick our heads in the sand and be sure that they only learn abstinence is the best way, has not and never will work

We had a bunch of friends over last night with Ronnie and my 2 "adopted" grandkids (ages 4 & 2) -my former neighbor kids- The 3 of them had so much fun I loved watching them together!
still it is nice knowing that it isn't a full time job anymore, isn't it?
I know about bribing, Dorens...oddly enough, Camo Boy was supposed to arrive at my house around 8am, but (running late) appeared at about noon; he simply walked in, set his chair by the table, and went to the fridge to get his breakfast waffles (what he had the last time he visited for breakfast - about 2-3 months ago)...what a memory!
