Brown rice takes a long time to cook. I never pay much attention to package directions. I just cook it until it's tender.
just notied that the directions say cook 30 min. i sweat it was formerly 50 min. not parboiled.
Brown rice is tricky. I use a rice cooker, which works pretty well.
