lol, doimg the impossible as usual. worked a 9 hour shift in our new recovery room...we had 8 out of 10 bays open, 6 staff on....i wonder what is going to happen when they open the extra 2 theatres.
it's just crazy!!!!

yup, 6 staff, and 4 of our patients were kids, which are 1 on 1 care.
throw into the mix, no beds available in the wards, patients in pain and/or vomiting(so there is a delay in discharging from recovery) and there you have it folks....bedlam 2013 style.
i closed recovery 3 times today....just had to do it. patient safety comes first in my recovery room.

My sister from Montana visited last week, the 18th -21st; and it was about 40 on Thursday, Friday we had 6 inches of snow and we had to cancel part of our plans; but by Sundayit was raining
We only get them about 4 times a year. We're in a 10-year drought here as well.

i should have waited one day to get my affairs in order and study up for the TWO tests i have this weekend, but i also wanted to start the money rolling in as fast as possible
cool.the only thing is with those tests i end up getting dizzy because i'm having to move my eyes quickly to see the little white blobs moving(i have menieres disease, so quick eye movement isn't good)so i end up missing half of them and then have to be retested again and again which isn't great for me :)
i can understand that, but i'm sure you'll be fine
most of ours involve not moving the eye at all, just seeing things in peripheral vision, but they can feel long and grueling
the problem for me is that they are moving and you have to press the button when you see them don't you? that's the problem for me
do you take a visual field test? there's one where you look at a target and things flash and/or move and you click when you see them
well, i hope you enjoy it
