yes, pugs. it stabilises the knee, so that it doesn't clunk sideways.if after 4 weeks it is still painful, he will have to go in and repair it.

My godson had a full scholarship to Berkeley and is now in D.C. working on his doctorate. When he's done, he and his wife are moving back to Berkeley and his mother (my best friend of 44 years) and I are planning to move there as well. Between the two of us we may be able to afford something.
We'd love to move to the SF area to be closer to our grandson but doubt we could ever afford it
Our politics would fit in better there too

aye, he'll be ok once the warfrin(sp?) kicks in. he went in with pains up his neck into his head but as it happens that's just a spasm, but they found his pulse was beating irregulary and that if he hadn't have gone in yesterday he would have more than likely had a heart attack, but he's not been bothered about that today but the pain in his neck!
Scary....or a stroke either...
oh, and the fact that he has more tablets to take and he has to lose weight, which we;ve all been telling him lately but he won't listen to us, so hopefully he will to the doctors.they'll keep him in until his heart beat goes back to normal
i only knew that he'd gone into hospital in the early hours as he had rang my next door neighbour instead of his other son.he'll be ok if he remembers to take his tablets and have the regular blood tests.the bairn will definitely remind him. she was his personal nurse when we went to see him earlier:)
