After i gave the lady i right telling about how careless she was..she started crying..then i felt really bad..but i was so annoyed at that moment.
They were shocked..but they are fine now..i kept thinking if it was two inches the wrong side one of them would of been trapped with broken legs.
well, I think you were right to be angry. She didn't do it on purpose, but as I tell my kids, sometimes it is important to do it RIGHT on purpose. In other words, to pay attention. It might have ended in a much greater drama.

Wildfires are a way of mother nature. That's why people have insurance. I think such huge fires should be fought from the air. Humans are no match for such things.

Grant's recliner arrived! I wanted to get him one piece of furniture that really "fits" him (he is 6 feet tall, and Tom and I are 5-8 and under), so we were lucky the one he liked best was very much on sale and so... *grin* it's here, but he is away for a few days. Which means I have to break it in. Do you know how hard it is to put a really BIG recliner back to zero when your legs don't reach the ground???

I hate these grids.
6 organges, 3 lemons, sliced, 3 sticks cinnamon, 2 Tbs whole cloves, all in a pot with about 5 qts of water. Boil for 10 mins,then med-high simmer til it gels. Add about 1.5 Tbs ground cardamom after about 2h. Very simple. Stir it often, and time the full boil carefully.
I left the cloves and cinnamon in -- cloves are very edible, the cinnamon sticks not so much.
