I and my wonderful husband are both retired and live in a tiny town of 700 people, 250 families, in Vermont, paradise of New England. We are a fiercely independent community. We are not perfect but we do get along without police or constable. After living in numerous cities around the USA I am back where I started.

I love all cats. We have one beautiful rescued probably Maine Coon furbaby named Lai Lai (initials of British artist Lesley Anne Ivory) . After the loss of our beautiful, sweet, rescued probably mostly Turkish Van cat Kali we have gotten another furbaby. The new furbaby is Finnegan, a long, tall, scrawny shorhaired "flesh colored" three-and-one-half-month-old sweet angel/demon cat. I have never had a shorthaired cat before. Between being very skinny and shorthaired I am having a hard time getting used to him.

I just joined Babble but have been playing on Jigidi and Pogo for years. Love word games.
